Abstract

Building harmonious and peaceful interaction between communities of different religions, is necessary to change the theological paradigm; that is passive, textual, and exclusive, leading towards the theology of inclusive, mutual respect, mutual recognition of existence, thinking and being positive among others. The paradigm of plural education in the future is democratic education, this can only be realized in a democratic society, nation and country. By providing the opportunities for the implementation of harmony and peace. The author describes about the Comparison of Islamic Education with Non-Islam (comparative study in Madrasah Tsanawiyah As-Shiddiqi and Catholic Junior High Schools (SMP) in Pamekasan Regency). The different point of these two educational institutions is the allocation of lesson hour (JTM). In Islamic Education is 2 hours a week in each religious material including Fiqh, Al-Quran, Aqidah and SKI subjects. Whereas in Catholic education is only given about 2 lessons, and the other is the same as other general education. For educational institutions that are specified into Uskupan or Romo, the applied curriculum is a matter of theology, such as seminaries starting from senior high school until university

Abstract

Ideally, education should be accessible to everyone, both men and women, without discrimination against any group. However, in reality, educational inequality persists, especially among ethnic Arab women. This article aims to delve deeper into the perspective of the ethnic Arab community regarding women's education and to explore young women's responses to this view. This study uses a qualitative approach and case study method, with in-depth observation and interviews used for data collection. These findings reveal that educational restrictions and restrictions for ethnic Arab women are rooted in the interpretation of normative texts and binding cultural norms. Responses from ethnic Arab women to these restrictions ranged from acceptance to subtle resistance, and even active opposition. The implication of this research is that understanding how Arab ethnic thinking affects women's educational patterns in Malang can help in designing educational programs that are more inclusive and in accordance with cultural values. Provide insight into how traditional and modern values interact in the Arab community in Malang, as well as their impact on educational opportunities for women. It can be the basis for educational institutions to develop a curriculum that takes into account cultural aspects, so that women's education can be more widely accepted among ethnic Arab communities. Encourage more progressive and gender-equality-based education policies while respecting the cultural values embraced by the Arab community.

Abstract

Educational supervision is one of the important functions in education management which aims to foster, guide, and improve the professionalism of educators in order to achieve optimal learning quality. This article examines conceptually the components of Islamic education supervision and their relevance in the implementation of leadership in madrasas. The study was conducted through a literature study on education supervision theory, education regulation, and expert views, emphasizing the principles of Islamic education management. The results of the study show that effective supervision consists of several interrelated components, namely: supervision objectives, planning, implementation, supervision techniques (individual and group), instruments, evaluation, and follow-up. Each component has a strategic role in ensuring that the supervision process runs systematically, directed, and sustainable. The implementation of structured supervision will have a positive impact on improving teachers' teaching skills, implementing active, creative, effective, and fun learning (PAKEM), creating a culture of quality in schools, and improving student learning outcomes. In the context of Islamic education, the application of supervision is not only technical, but also based on the values of coaching, service, and moral responsibility. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the success of supervision is highly dependent on the synergy of all components, so it needs to be designed and implemented comprehensively and sustainably

Abstract

This article aims to determine the concept, practice, and results of abhkate, a good attitude toward parents of Madurese society from Islamic education perspec­tive. This study utilizes a qualitative approach, employing data collection methods such as interviews, obser­vations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed through a process that includes reduction, presen­tation, verification, and the formulation of conclu­sions. Concep­tually, abhakte is a translation of the concept of birr al-walidayn in Islam. Forms of abhakte in Madurese culture include: andhap asor, mabhunga, ajhaga bhagussa, nyambhung bhala, majar otang, sandhekka, amoljaaghi, dhuwa'aghi, and mintaaghi sapora. Madurese society strives to maintain the abhakte culture by practicing: ngajhi gik anak (learning Islam from an early age), nyantre (learning in Islamic boarding school education), ebada (religious rituals), and kabiyasaan sabhalaan (family traditions). Meanwhile, the results of the implementation of abhakte in the social interactions of Madurese society include: koko agamana (strong adherence to Islamic teachings), taretan sadhaja (organized in a family structure), sangkolan bhagus (maintai­ning good traditions in society), tonggal dara (strengthening a sense of togetherness), and akor salanjhanga (minimizing the risk of social conflict).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic education, especially madrassas and Islamic boarding schools, in supporting the achievement of (SDGs) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and a multi-site case study design, the research was conducted on a number of purposively selected madrassas and pesantren based on regional representation, institutional models, and involvement in programs relevant to the SDGs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model with triangulation of sources and methods to maintain validity. The results of the study show that madrasas and pesantren have a dominant contribution to SDG through the provision of affordable, inclusive, and religious value-based education. In addition, Islamic boarding schools play a role in SDG through entrepreneurship training and skills programs, as well as SDG by mainstreaming religious moderation and tolerance. Several institutions also show initiatives related to SDG through the eco/green pesantren program. However, challenges are still faced, such as the quality gap between institutions, the limitation of digital literacy, and the lack of sustainable funding support. This research confirms that Islamic education is not only an agent of the transmission of religious knowledge, but also a strategic actor of sustainable development. To strengthen this contribution, it is necessary to strengthen governance, digital innovation, community economic empowerment, and policy support that is responsive to the global agenda and local needs.

Abstract

Language is the most important component in human life. Humans will not be able to continue their survival without language. This research was carried out at Madura Islamic University (UIM) Pamekasan due to the low ability of students, especially the Islamic Studies Faculty (FAI) in reading English text and this became the dominant problem in this study. Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review (SQ3R) is one part of an elaboration method. A teacher expects students to be able to remember what they read, can help the teaching and learning process in the classroom carried out by reading English text so that learning can be more challenging and fun. This study uses quantitative research methods namely experimental research, the researcher will measure the effect and causality between variables X in the form of SQ3R method with variable Y, namely the ability of students to read English text at Madura Islamic University (UIM) Pamekasan. Theoretically the results of the study increased the ability of students to read English text, which is greater with a t table value of 5.356, which means that the sQ3R method can be applied in English course lectures to improve students' ability to master reading comprehension in English of Islamic Text. Students can get information faster and messages contained in text. FAI students are more confident in reading English text because English is one of the difficult subjects for Islamic faculty.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education in various educational institutions already selaknya done, both the concept and sector inplementatifnya, therefore, engineering education is an alternative that needs to be done by all parties concerned with the provision of education, particularly in institutions educational institutions in Indonesia, both in the form the launching of the school / madrasah and even featured colleges, which are projected to develop the potential and creativity of talented children or special ability, and so forth. Therefore, they are a valuable asset for the nation's future. While the form of the development can be done through three ways, namely (1) through the existing school and then coupled with enrichment; (2) through the use of educational media; and (3) through the school / special classes as much developed now. While the flagship school in general management includes three things: input, process and output. All of them were selected and well managed with management planned and implemented seriously. While relation to Islamic education, school / madrasah featured aimed at integrating the science of religion and general knowledge, in order to have the intellectual output, high creativity and leadership, as well as pay attention to the moral and spiritual aspects. While management is implemented in the schools featured a school-based management designed and implemented optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of Islamic religious education is identical to the purpose of life of every human or Muslim. The implementation of education aims to humanize humans, glorify them because science utilizes reason with all its intelligence in order to achieve what it aspires to. Therefore, the success or failure of an educational process will also be influenced by the surrounding environment, namely the family in this case is the parents. Based on this background, the researcher is interested in examining the activities mentioned above. This research activity uses qualitative research with informants, the teachers are researchers who meet in the field, then guardians of students / parents and some students in the field. Based on the reviews in advance both through liberty research and fild research, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Parental education is the first and foremost education to humanize and socialize human children. 2) Education of parents as the smallest social unit provides basic stamps and foundations for the development and improvement of the quality of children's religious education. 3) Behavior in the family will give inpact or a contagious influence on the community environment.

Abstract

Metode merupakan salah satu unsur yang diperlukan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan banyak sekali variasi yang bisa diterapkan guru guna untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam. Adapun salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dengan metode tanya jawab, dengan penggunaan metode tanya jawab dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Karena metode tanya jawab ini merupakan metode yang tidak hanya komunikasi satu arah akan tetapi bisa dua ataupun tiga arah. Di samping itu, metode ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir dan siswa tidak hanya menjadi pendengar saja akan tetapi mereka ikut aktif di dalamnya. Dan mengigat betapa pentingnya penggunaan metode dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar khususnya untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran maka penulis tertarik untuk membahas tentang “Signifikansi Penggunaan Metode Tanya Jawab Dalam Meningkatkan Efektivitas Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di MAN Jungcangcang Pamekasan 1”. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan implementasi ajaran agama Islam di lingkungan STAI Muhammadiyah Probolinggo. Penelitian ini fokus pada upaya penguatan kembali nilai-nilai keagamaan bagi mahasiswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat revitalisasi nilai religiusitas. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi untuk memahami secara mendalam konteks, tantangan, dan strategi yang digunakan dalam revitalisasi nilai religiusitas mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian mencerminkan adanya tiga dimensi religiusitas, yaitu Aqidah, Ibadah, dan Muamalah, dengan strategi penerapan Uswah Hasanah dan Pembinaan Karakter Islami yang berkelanjutan. Dalam proses pembelajaran al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan, dibangun sikap inklusif (Wasathiyah), toleran, dan progresif, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan dimensi spiritual mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang urgensi integritas agama dalam pembentukan karakter Islami mahasiswa dalam membangun masyarakat yang berkeadaban. Selain itu, implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi lembaga pendidikan, terutama perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam dalam merancang program-program yang mendukung proses revitalisasi nilai religiusitas mahasiswa secara efektif. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah: 1) Kurikulum berkembang dengan baik, 2) Melakukan pelatihan para dosen, 3) Pengembangan program kegiatan mahasiswa, 4) Pelatihan lanjutan tentang dampak religious, 5) Jalinan kolaborasi dengan lembaga kemuhammadiyahan, 6) Pengembangan materi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.
