Abstract

Warung Pecel Lele Lamongan is one of the SMEs that operates in the culinary sub-sector which are spread almost in every city in Indonesia. These food vendors uses an advertising banner as their information and promotion medium. This research was qualitative with qualitative data interpretation analysis through formal and communication approach. Art forms are analyzed through formalism by inspecting the elements that became a part of the subjects, such as visual elements like color, lines, shapes, textures, and visual principles such as unity and balance. Approach to communication used is to identify the visual communication strategies utilized by the advertising banners. This research shows that the visual elements and principles on Warung Pecel Lele advertising banners is a communication media that have been remembered by people and acts as a unique flagship for Pecel Lele Lamongan. Komunikasi visual iklan spanduk Pecel Lele Lamongan Warung Pecel Lele Lamongan merupakan salah satu UMKM sub sektor kuliner yang tersebar hampir di seluruh kota di Indonesia. Warung ini menggunakan iklan spanduk sebagai media informasi dan promosinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, analisis data dilakukan dengan interpretasi analisis data kualitatif dengan pendekatan formal dan komunikasi. Pendekatan pada bentuk karya seni menggunakan analisis formal dengan cara memperhatikan elemen yang menjadi bentuk subjek, seperti unsur rupa yakni warna, garis, bentuk, tekstur dan prinsip rupa seperti unity dan keseimbangan. Pendekatan komunikasi digunakan untuk mengenali strategi komunikasi visual yang ada pada iklan spanduk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media spanduk dan peranan unsur dan prinsip rupa pada iklan spanduk warung pecel lele merupakan sarana komunikasi visual yang melekat pada benak khalayak luas dan menciptakan citra tersendiri bagi pecel lele Lamongan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the textual and contextual aesthetic ideology in above-the-line Madurasa advertising. This research applied a qualitative descriptive case study design focusing on drawings or written elements in advertisements published in newspapers, tabloids, and magazines. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis employed Antonio Gramsci’s theory of ideology and hegemony. The results show that advertising media function as ideological strategies of hegemony through elements of typography, images, colors, logos, and layout.

Abstract

The development of tryout questions for the Teacher Professional Education in the field of Fine Arts is of high urgency because the quality of the questions greatly determines the participants predicted success in facing the Student Competency Test. This study aims to develop valid and reliable tryout instruments through a Research and Development (R&D) approach with psychometric procedures, including planning, writing, reviewing, and testing 35 questions (25 simple multiple choice and 10 complex multiple choice) to 87 students. Analysis was conducted on the level of difficulty, discrimination power, distractor effectiveness, validity, and reliability. The results showed that the distribution of questions was not ideal, with a dominance of easy questions, few difficult questions, and low discrimination variation. Of the total items, 18 could be used without revision, 9 needed revision, and 8 were discarded. Validity showed that 20 questions were classified as good, while 15 were not yet valid, and the overall reliability of the test was high (? = 0.835). These findings confirm that although the instrument has high reliability, the quality of the items still requires significant revision to meet psychometric standards. Thus, the developed instrument has the potential to be an effective predictive tool for the readiness of Fine Arts students, while also contributing to improving the quality of teacher professional education assessment in Indonesia.

Abstract

We investigate the coating of graphene onto the silica microfiber sensor for sodium sulfate measurement at room temperature. The graphene obtained from graphene-polylactic acid filament was coated onto the microfiber based on drop casting methods. In this work, the graphene acts as cladding to interact with analyte as well as functions to trap either sodium cation or sulfate anion and increases the effective refractive index of the cladding. The sensor has  a good sensitivity of 0.82 dBm/% and resolution of 1.16 %. The sensitivity and resolution of the sensor were increased by the coating of graphene layer.

Abstract

Diffable is incompleteness or abnormality accompanied by consequences for specific functions. The method used is tapping on the hamstring and hamstring muscles quadriceps to determine the resulting voltage”muscle signal tapping using Electromyograph (EMG) and Ag-AgCl electrodes. Average current-voltage contraction and relaxation are used as threshold values to drive the servo motor. This study indicates the tension when the muscle contracts are in the range of 4 volts while the relaxation time is 0.4 volts. Then it can be concluded that the voltage when the muscle is contracted is more significant than when it is relaxed. Using different tension during contraction and relaxation in normal subjects showed that the different tension could drive the prototype exoskeleton.
