Abstract

ICT student worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values is a learning solution for 2013 curriculum. The purpose of this research is to determine the validity, description, practicality, and effectiveness of ICT student worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The design of this research is before and after of treatment. The object of research is ICT student worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values. Instruments to collecting data are validity instrument, practicality instrument, and effectiveness instrument that consist of knowledge test sheet, observation sheet, and performance sheet. There are three data analysis, those are description statistic, graph method, and correlated t-test. This research gives two main results. First, worksheet validity is in very valid criteria. Product description is good criteria. Second, worksheet practicality is in very practice criteria. ICT student worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values to digestive system, chemical material, and pressure of liquid substance for 8th grade junior high school student are effective used in science learning activity

Abstract

One of the problems encountered science subjects in school are the low yields obtained student learning. It is caused by many factors, one of which is the lack of learning tools to support the process of learning science. Therefore it is necessary to study the device is designed in the form of science worksheet. Given this research aims to produce products such as student activity sheet materials for teaching science to the subject matter of addictive and psychotropic substances, noise, light and optical equipment. This research is the development (research and development) of model Plomp. This model consists of five phases which initial investigation (preliminary investigation), the design phase (design), the phase of realization / construction (realization / construction), phase test, evaluation, and revision (test, evaluation and revision) and an implementation phase (implementation). However, this research is only done through 4 phases. To test the validity of science  worksheet taken yan made the subject lecturer of physics as many as four people. While testing the practicalities of junior high science teacher made as many as 5 people. Data was analyzed with descriptive analysis  technique. Based on research that has been done, the resulting product in the form of student activity sheet PBI models oriented science lessons. Products are categorized valid study of aspects of the worksheet completeness, appropriateness of content, language use student activity sheet, and kegrafisan student activity sheet with an average value of 86.25%. Product research is also considered practical by the teacher with the average value of 82.41% from the aspects of ease of use, time efficiency, and benefits

Abstract

The achievement of students competence in natural science is not optimum. It is caused by the students worksheet used which cannot make students to learn independently and actively to find the concept of what they have learned. Therefore, it is necessarily the students worksheet that can be made students to learn independently and actively. Students worksheet which can be used is based on problem based learning model which is a completed concept map. The purpose of this research was to investigated affect of using student worksheet based on problem based learning model which is a completed concept map toward. It was quasy experiment and using randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all students in the first grade at SMPN 3 Bukittinggi who registered on academic year 2015/2016. The technique sampling was purpossive sampling. The Instruments used was written test for competence of knowledge, observation sheet for competence of attitude and performance assessment sheet for competence of skills. The technique of data analysis was Chi square on significance level at 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis showed that using students worksheet based on problem based learning model which is completed concept map in natural science learning, it give influence on students competence of knowledge aspect. The result of coefficient of kontingensi was 0,25. For competence of attitude aspect and skills aspect, using students worksheet based on problem based  learning model which is a completed concept map in natural science didn’t give influence

Abstract

This research is motivated that teaching materials in schools have not facilitated students optimally in finding their knowledge. In addition, practicum activities are also not always done in Physics learning, due to the limitations of practicum tools. So that learning is still centered on the teacher and make learners less active and just memorize the formula instead of understanding the concept. This study aims to produce products in the form of RPP and LKPD integrated inquiry guided with virtual laboratory on the material Dynamic Fluid and Gas Kinetic Theory in a valid, practical and effective physics learning. This research was a research development (research and development) using 4D development model. This model consists of 4 stages of define, design,, development and disseminate. However, this study was only done until the stage of development. The data of the research was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. This research produces products in the form of integrated RPP and LKPD guided inquiry with virtual laboratory assisted. Based on the data analysis can be presented three research results. First, the validity of RPP and LKPD that validated the experts each have an average value of 91.46 and 89.84 with criteria is very valid. Second, the practicality of teachers for RPP is 93.31% and for LKPD is 95.31% and practicality value of learners that is 89.67% who are on very practical criteria. Third, integrated LKPD guided inquiry with virtual laboratory is effectively used in physics learning

Abstract

Integrated sicence learning in junior high school is important. Beside that, formation of character values and use of ICT is also important in learning. One solution that can be done is to create an ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values. The purpose of this research is to determine the validity, description, practicality, and effectiveness of ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D). Design of this research is before and after experiment. As object of research is ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values. There are three instrument to collect data, those are validation sheet, practicality sheet, learning outcome test sheet, observation sheet of character values, performance sheet of student skills. Techniques of data analysis used are analysis of the validity, analysis of the practicality, and analysis of the effectiveness of product. Based on data analysis, there are two research results. First, ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values is valid with average value is 88,70. ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character value has a home menu, introduction, content worksheets, evaluation, download, chatting, and discussion forum. Second, application of ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values is practice that  indicated by the average value from teachers and students respectively 87,32 and 84,74. Application of ICT worksheet of integrated science by integrating character values is also effective in science learning. That indicated by improvement of knowledge, character, and skill of students

Abstract

Physics learning is done in accordance with the mandate of the 2013 curriculum that students actively find their own knowledge. The fact in School shows that inquiry learning in physics has not been applied well, and used  of teaching materials is still limited that support the process of learning implementation. Solution that can be done is to create an inquiry self-based physics learning module. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the physics-based inquiry learning module and RPP on Newton's legal material about motion and gravity.Research carried out including the type of Research and development (R & D). The object of this research is physics based inquiry and RPP. Based on the data analysis that has been done can be stated the results of the research that the validity of the product has a high level of validity with the average value of validation of physics-based inquiry learning module that is 89.47 and RPP is 90.74 with the criteria of each the same is very valid. It can be concluded that in the investigation of the validation of the physics-based physics learning module on newton's legal material about motion and gravity is very valid for use in physics learning of class X of SMA 2nd semester.

Abstract

Globalization era requires high quality of human resources. Improvement the human resources can be done through education process. Reality shows that physics learning in high school is not optimal yet, that competency of student is low. Alternative solution to solve this problem is ICT learning materials by  integrating Mathematics, Science, Technology, Natural disaster, and Character values (MSTDC). The purposes of this research are to determine the student’s Physics competency and to investigate the effect of applying ICT learning materials toward the student’s Physics competency at grade XI in SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. Type of this research is Quasi Experimental with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The research population are students of grade XI Science SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung who listed in the  2014/2015 academic year. Sampling technique which is used in this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistic and compare mean of knowledge, attitude, and skill of students. Based on data analysis can be stated  two results of this research. First, average value of student who use ICT learning materials by integrating MSTDC in the competency of knowledge, attitude, and skill respectively are 86.03; 90.10; and 90.84. Second, implementation ICT learning materials by integrating MSTDC gives significant effect toward student's Physics competency including knowledge, attitude, and skill at 0,05 signification level

Abstract

Investigation of landslide slip surface using geoelectrical resistivity method has been conducted at Jorong Koto Baru Nagari Aie Dingin Kabupaten Solok. The aim of this research is to know the shape of slip surface, depth of slip surface, and angle of slip surface. Data were collected by Automatic Resistivity Multielectrode in 4 lines with Schlumberger configuration. Interpretation of data was done with Robust Constraint Inversion. The result of this research shows that slip surface is Translation slip. The estimation result showed that the subsurface lithology on four path consist of Alluvium and Sands, Sandstone, Clay, Limestone and Granite. The slip surface is a clay layer on four path with resistivity value range from 66.1-90.25 Ωm, 70.45–90.8 Ωm and 67.05-100 Ωm. Depth of slip surface for one and three section was found are of 7.05 meter, and for two section was found are of 4.14 meters. Angles of slip surface are 21.74°, 19.94°, 21.85°, 17.46° and 17.13°

Abstract

Polution is big problem in many city. Iron-oksida is very small and dangeraous for healty, so important to measure who give information about magnetic field. The source of polution are mount eruption, forest fire and  motor vehicle. In this eksperiment we studying about kind polution from motor vehicle. The kind polutan of vehicles was know with Isothermal Remanent Magnetization (IRM) method. In this eksperiment 93 sample, 45 top soil sample, 40 wood sample and 8 for leaf sample. The result of data analysis indication that intensity magnetization of top soil is 10.24 to 11.974.558 mA/m for wood sample is 0,22 to 7.186,20 mA/m and for leaf 0.33 to 900.31 mA/m. The analysis for saturation kurva of IRM for samples is magnetite (Fe3O4) because out field ≤ 300 mT.  Keywords: Isothermal Remanent Magnetization (IRM), magnetite

Abstract

Bukit Apit Puhun Bukittinggi area is located at Sianok fault zone. This area was potensially occur tectonic activity such as earthquakes. Tectonic activity could disturb the stability of the bedrock. The aim of this research was to determine the resistivity and to depth of basement bedrock in Bukit Apit Puhun Bukittinggi area. This research used Robust 2D inversion Geoelectrical data with Dipole-dipole configuration. The Data of this research were taken five track using ARES (Automatic Resistivitymeter). The data were processed and interpreted with using Robust 2D inversion. The result of this research showed that type of basement bedrock in Bukit Apit Puhun Guguk Panjang was an igneous groups, namely Andesite. Resistivity of Andesite bedrock were varies on the each track. The resistivy of Andesite was 352 Ωm – 7598 Ωm. Depht of Andesite bedrock were varies, which generally more than 30 meters deepness at Bukit Apit Puhun Bukittinggi area
