Abstract

Eucharistic celebrations that use Javanese language are very rarely carried out in the Catholic church, thereby causing a lack of public knowledge, especially people about Javanese Eucharist. This research was conducted aiming to provide information and knowledge to the public about the form and presentation of the Javanese song for the choir used to accompany the celebration of the Javanese eucharist held at the church St. Maria Fatima Banyumanik Semarang. This descriptive - qualitative research took place at St. Maria Fatima Banyumanik Semarang on May 26 and June 30, 2019 with a priest, choir officer and church members as research subjects. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews and document studies. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The results of the study revealed that the form of Javanese liturgical song presentation was used to accompany the celebration of the Javanese eucharist at the Church of St. Maria Fatima Banyumanik Semarang is the same as the form of presentation of the liturgical celebration of the Eucharist in general, in the form of a choir group, and the function of the use of Javanese liturgical songs in the celebration of the eucharist is as a means of communication and as a continuous contribution and cultural stability. Hopefully in the future the church will more intensively inform the celebration of the Javanese eucharist to the people, and hopefully the choir in charge can prepare song texts for the people, so as to increase the readiness and enthusiasm of the people in participating in the celebration of the Javanese eucharist at St. Maria Fatima Banyumanik Semarang.

Abstract

Extracurricular choir aims to develop the talent of singing of the students, develop creative power, motivation, student attitudes that can lead to good interest.The problem studied in this research is how learning strategies extracurricular choir in SMP Negeri 2 Jepara? The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the learning strategy extracurricular choir in SMP Negeri 2 Jepara. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis using techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collected is then described, reduced (simplified), are presented and summarized in the form of words. The results showed that in 1991 became the origin of extracurricular choir in SMP Negeri 2 Jepara. Learning extracurricular choir with selecting participants include planning, preparing teaching materials, preparing the strategies that will be used, making the training schedule, and implement learning esktrakurikuler chorus along with the use of strategies and methods are good, true and correct. To enhance these activities, the needed infrastructure, preliminary activities, the submission of information, participation of learners, materials, training, and evaluation. Extracurricular choir in SMP Negeri 2 Jepara using expository teaching strategies, cooperative learning strategies and affective learning strategies. In practice, teacher deliver material with lectures, forming groups 3-4 and do the exercises in accordance with the material being taught vocal technique and practice, after it presented alternately in front of the other group.

Abstract

This study was devoted to investigating the preservation of gambang Semarang music through the enculturation process comprehensively. Two basic strategies were employed in examining research problems: using theoretical approaches in traditional music, preservation, and enculturation and a qualitative approach. Further, the target and site comprised gambang Semarang music preservation through the enculturation process among Semarang people. The data were collected from observation, interviews, documentation, and library research. Data validity applied source, time, theory, and researcher triangulation. The collected data and information were then analyzed inductively by relying on an interactive analysis model with the following steps: data reduction, display, and verification. It was suggested that the enculturation process of gambang Semarang music within three generations in the nang nok gambang Semarang group served as the activity of cultural awareness of society, artists, and performers. It was to carry out the enculturation process towards young generations, even children, as the future generations. The approaches to the teaching and learning process were modeling, conditioning, and internalization. Such an enculturation process was proven to function effectively as the cultural mechanism and enculturation model in preserving gambang Semarang music as the cultural identity of Semarangan.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara komprehensif tentang, peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia desa Duren kecamatan Bandungan Kabupaten Semarang sebagai desa binaan Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang, melalui pelatihan keterampilan seni tari dan drum band dengan model desa binaan berbasis wisata seni budaya berupa kegiatan-kegiatan yang terprogram, berkelanjutan, terukur, dan memiliki nilai komersial untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Serta mendorong tumbuhnya kreativitas, motivasi dan inovasi masyarakat dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadap. Berdasarkan pada permasalahan prioritas yang ada, maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melalui model desa binaan ini menggunakan metode Partisipatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) yaitu suatu sistem untuk menyusun dan mengembangkan program operasional dalam pembangunan tingkat desa. Enthrepreneurship Capasity Building (ECB), metode ini berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan beriwirausaha dari masyarakat agar dapat disesuaikan dengan aspek-aspek lingkungan, keetisan, kebudayaan, sosial, politik dan ekonomi masyarakat bersangkutan. Hasil pengabdian berupa peningkatan sumber daya manusia desa Duren berupa keterampilan tari anggota sanggar tari “jelantik sasongko” dan keterampilan bermain drum band anggota kelompok drum band “tri nada” desa Duren bandungan kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

Learning methods are ways of presenting subject matter conducted by educators so that the learning process occurs in students in an effort to achieve goals. The problem in this research is how is the method of learning students’ choir Gita Buana Soedirman Purwokerto. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is conducted by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data validity technique used is triangulation. Data analysis was conducted in data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results of this study are that in the learning process of the Gita Buana Soedirman Choir’s students apply several learning methods, that are the lecture method, peer tutor method, demonstration method, drill method, and imitation method which are applied continuously and as it should be.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan memetakan problematika penerapan aplikasi kepemiluan yang dimiliki oleh KPU, dengan studi kasus di KPU Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, KPU Kabupaten Sleman, dan KPU Kabupaten Magelang. Bahasan ini berangkat dari pertanyaan mengapa penerapan teknologi informasi oleh KPU dalam penyelenggaraan Pemilu seringkali berjalan tidak maksimal. Alih-alih memudahkan kinerja penyelenggara Pemilu, sejumlah aplikasi digital yang diterapkan KPU kerap justru mempersulit penyelenggara di level bawah, bahkan memicu konflik dengan peserta Pemilu atau masyarakat. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi partisipatoris disertai data pustaka dan wawancara mendalam terhadap operator aplikasi kepemiluan serta pejabat struktural. Dalam menganalisis permasalahan, peneliti menggunakan teori kesenjangan digital. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menemukan tiga faktor dalam sulitnya penerapan aplikasi kepemiluan di KPU: (1) terbatasnya jumlah sumber daya manusia di KPU Kabupaten/Kota yang mampu mengelola aplikasi kepemiluan dengan baik; (2)sejumlah aplikasi kepemiluan sebenarnya belum cukup siap untuk diterapkan, dan (3) bimbingan teknis untuk pengguna aplikasi tersebut tidak efektif. Sebagai solusi atas permasalahan tersebut, artikel ini mengajukan tiga rekomendasi pada KPU RI: (1) menguatkan kuantitas dan kualitas SDM yang mengelola aplikasi kepemiluan di KPU Kabupaten/Kota; (2) memastikan bahwa setiap aplikasi telah betul-betul siap diterapkan, termasuk dengan uji coba yang komprehensif; dan (3) menguatkan cakupan dan kedalaman Bimtek (Bimbingan Teknis), baik secara luring maupun daring.

Abstract

Law Number 11 of 2019 on the National System of Science and Technology (UU Sisnas Iptek) is a law that is fundamental in the field of science and technology as well as monumental because it replaces Law Number 18 of 2002 on the National System for Research, Development, and Application of Science Knowledge and Technology that has been valid for 17 (seventeen) years amid very dynamic and unstoppable developments in science and technology. The replacement of the law contains consequences for changes in content material, including regulations regarding criminal acts regulated therein. The National System and Technology Law provides arrangements regarding criminal sanctions. It also regulates actions that are classified as criminal offenses. This research uses normative legal research methods and legal comparison methods with a statute approach. This article intends to describe the development of the regulation of sanctions and analyze the construction of criminal acts and the sanctions that surround them as regulated in the Science and Technology National System Law and the laws that were previously in effect. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that there has been a development of criminal acts in the field of science and technology, namely the addition of types of offenses, additional types of additional punishments, and ballast punishments. This development is a change for the better because it provides clarity and certainty for dangerous and potentially harmful actions.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual merupakan ancaman serius terhadap kesejahteraan remaja, termasuk di Lampung. Remaja, yang merupakan kelompok rentan, sering kali menjadi korban kekerasan seksual yang dilakukan oleh individu terdekat seperti orang tua atau guru. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya pencegahan kekerasan seksual melalui edukasi dan pengetahuan yang diperkenalkan sejak dini. Fenomena kekerasan seksual terutama terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, keluarga, dan tempat sosial lainnya, memberikan dampak fisik, emosional, dan psikologis pada korban. Selain itu, kekerasan seksual juga menciptakan dampak serius tidak hanya pada korban secara langsung, tetapi juga pada masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Tingginya angka kekerasan seksual terhadap anak dan remaja, terutama yang terungkap dalam statistik kasus di Bandar Lampung, menunjukkan urgensi penanganan kasus kekerasan seksual. Pencegahan kekerasan seksual dan pengetahuan tentang kekerasan seksual perlu diperkenalkan sejak dini, dan inisiatif untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang kebutuhan untuk melindungi diri dari ancaman dan tindakan kekerasan seksual sangatlah penting. Tim pengabdian melaksanakan sosialisasi pencegahan kekerasan seksual di SMA YP Unila selama enam bulan dengan melibatkan pengurus OSIS, Paskibraka, dan perwakilan kelas sebanyak 40 orang. Sosialisasi menggunakan metode ceramah, sharing dan diskusi bersama, dan sesi tanya jawab. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terkait pencegahan kekerasan seksual. Siswa menyadari pentingnya edukasi dan pengetahuan kekerasan seksual sejak dini, mengenali tanda-tanda kekerasan seksual, mengerti dampak serius yang terjadi, dan bagaimana melakukan penanganan kekerasan seksual. Siswa juga menunjukkan kesadaran akan peran pendidikan sebagai sarana meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan

Abstract

Kekerasan terhadap anak di pesantren yang mengakibatkan kematian merupakan fenomena yang memprihatinkan dan kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab kekerasan, dampak yang ditimbulkan, dan upaya preventif yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah terulangnya kasus serupa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika sosial, budaya, dan kelembagaan di pesantren serta mengidentifikasi peran lingkungan keluarga, pengawasan lembaga, dan budaya kekerasan dalam memengaruhi perilaku agresif peserta didik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan di pesantren disebabkan oleh gabungan faktor internal dan eksternal, meliputi pengawasan yang buruk, pengaruh pola asuh keluarga, dan adanya hierarki sosial yang memicu terjadinya tindak kekerasan. Dampak dari kekerasan tersebut sangat signifikan, baik bagi korban, pelaku, keluarga, maupun lembaga internal Islam, meliputi trauma psikologis, kerugian sosial, dan rusaknya reputasi lembaga. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pengawasan di pesantren, penguatan pendidikan moral berbasis nilai-nilai agama, dan sinergi antara pesantren, keluarga, dan pemerintah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman dan kondusif. Melalui langkah-langkah strategis tersebut diharapkan pesantren kembali menjadi wadah yang mendukung pembinaan moral dan spiritual santri secara optimal. Child abuse in Islamic schools that has resulted in death is a disturbing and complex phenomenon. This study aims to analyze the factors of abuse, the impacts caused and the preventive measures that can be implemented to prevent the recurrence of similar cases. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores the social, cultural and institutional dynamics in Islamic schools and identifies the role of the family environment, institutional supervision and the culture of violence in influencing the aggressive behavior of students. The results of the analysis show that abuse in Islamic schools is caused by a combination of internal and external factors, including poor supervision, the influence of family parenting models, and the existence of a social hierarchy that provokes acts of violence. The impact of these abuses is very significant, both for victims, perpetrators, families and Islamic interior institutions, including psychological trauma, social losses and damage to the institution's reputation. This study recommends increasing supervision in Islamic boarding schools, strengthening moral education based on religious values, and synergy between Islamic boarding schools, families, and the government to create a safe and conducive educational environment. Through strategic measures, it is hoped that Islamic boarding schools will once again become places that support the optimal moral and spiritual development of students.
