Abstract

Stunting is a problem that currently requires special attention in Indonesia. The stunting rate in 2022 will drop to 21.6% and for the future, the government has set a target of up to 14% in 2024. There have been many government efforts in implementing programs to reduce stunting rates. However, not everything runs optimally. Rapid technological developments and freedom of expression in the internet world produce review text data that can be analyzed for evaluation. This study aims to analyze the text data of Twitter users' reviews on stunting. The method used is a text-mining approach and topic modeling based on Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The results show that negative sentiment dominates by 60.6%, positive sentiment by 31.5%, and neutral by 7.9%. In addition, this research shows that 'anak', 'turun', 'angka', 'cegah' and 'gizi' are among the words that often appear on the topic of stunting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the audience's reception of the sexual objectification of women in the film Finish (2021). This research method is a qualitative approach method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, documentation and literature studies. The results of the study showed that there were differences in interpretation of the acceptance of female sexual objectification in the film Finish (2021) by the informants. The meaning of informants is influenced by the background of each individual which is reproduced repeatedly in everyday life, or the frame of reference and field of experience of the informants. In line with Stuart Hall's reception analysis theory which refers to the encoding-decoding process. With reception analysis, it can be seen that the audience/viewers have an active role in interpreting the meaning in the film.

Abstract

The research explains the communication patterns of counselors with counseling patients of the Cilegon City National Narcotics Agency, with the highest number of adolescent drug addicts in Banten province. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with in- depth interview techniques to explore informant data. Counseling communication patterns between counselors and counseling patients are the object of research. The research informant selection technique uses purposive sampling or informant determination technique with certain considerations. The main informants in the research are counseling patients and counselors at BNNK Cilegon who are in charge of rehabilitating adolescent drug abuser patients. The results revealed that the counseling communication pattern at BNNK Cilegon is included in the circular pattern, the message interaction process takes place in two directions and the communicant actively conveys message feedback. Counselors apply a counseling technique called client-centered therapy which is based on the equality of counselors and patients, the counseling program at BNNK Cilegon is divided into interpersonal counseling sessions for counselors and patients, family support sessions, and group therapy. This research is expected to be able to provide an overview of interactive counseling communication patterns, as well as provide perceptions to embrace drug addicts to escape drug addiction.

Abstract

The tourism sector has great potential in driving economic growth, including through the development of tourism villages. However, challenges such as duplication of models, lack of standardization, and low maintenance of infrastructure often hinder optimization. Winden Valley Tourism Village in Wonosalam, Jombang, has attractive natural tourism potential but has not been maximized. To overcome these obstacles, assistance was provided that focused on branding and digital marketing strategies. The assistance includes the utilization of social media, website development, and the use of mobile cashier applications to improve service efficiency. The methods used include proposal preparation, observation, brainstorming, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results of the mentoring showed a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of business actors. The initial pre-test score of 60 increased to 105 in the post-test. With the right branding strategy and digital technology support, Winden Valley Tourism Village is expected to increase its visibility as a tourist destination and encourage local economic growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai resepsi audience pada kampanye #belajarjadiminimalis pada aplikasi Tiktok @lyfewithless.community milik komunitas Lyfe With Less. Komunitas ini sebagai wadah untuk memberikan informasi sekaligus mengajak para audience untuk hidup minimalis. Kampanye ini juga menjadi menjadi salah satu upaya untuk mengajak generasi Z berhenti menggunakan fast fashion. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemahaman generasi Z mengenai kampanye #belajarjadiminimalis di akun Tiktok @lyfewithless.community sebagai upaya mengurangi fast fashion. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif menggunakan studi deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan kepada informan dengan wawancara in-deepth. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis menggunakan Teori Encoding-Decoding Stuart Hall dengan digolongkan dalam kategori Dominant Hegemonic Position, Negotiated Positition dan Opposition Position. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap informan memiliki pemaknaan pesan yang berbeda. informan yang berada Hegemonic Position dapat memaknai dan menerima sepenuhnya pada pesan kampanye #belajarjadiminimalis. Informan pada Negotiated Positition menerima makna pesan namun memiliki pandangan lain terhadap kampanye #belajarjadiminimalis. Informan pada posisi Opposition Position menganggap kampanye #belajarjadiminimalis memaknai pesan menolak pesan dan menganggap tidak realistis.

Abstract

Lembaga yang turut berperan aktif dalam perkembangan pemilu 2024 adalah media sosial. Saat ini kehadiran media sosial sudah menjadi sumber informasi untuk berinteraksi dan bersosialisasi bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis framing pemberitaan detik.com dan rmol.id terhadap pemberitaan Gibran Rakabuming Sebagai Calon Wakil Presiden Indonesia Tahun 2024 (Periode Pemberitaan 16 Oktober 2023 – 14 Februari 2024). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif.. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang didapat melalui website Detik.com dan Rmol.Id sejak 16 Oktober 2023 – 14 Februari 2024. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul kemudia akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa framing media Detik.com lebih mendukung pada Gibran dibandingkan Rmol.id yang dalam pemberitaan tentang Gibran Rakabuming sebagai calon wakil presiden Indonesia lebih dominan bersifat negatif selain itu pada pembingkaian penulisan Detik.com lebih berhati-hati dalam menuliskan narasi berbeda dengan Rmol.id yang secara kritis menanggapi isu masalah utama terkait isu dinasti politik yang dilakukan oleh Jokowi sehingga Gibran bisa maju menjadi cawapres 2024.

Abstract

The Little Mermaid 2023 is a film that tells the story of the love journey of the mermaid Ariel and Prince Eric which is hindered by differences in the nature of life. This film illustrates that love is not hindered by boundaries and must be fought for. The main object (main character) in this film is a woman who has a different physical character from the animated series, thus causing a debate in the public. So this research aims to find out the public's opinion about the main character Ariel in a different version of the film with the animated characters that have been inherent in the imagination of each individual. The type of research carried out is qualitative descriptive research. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi keseharian masyarakat, tidak terkecuali pada factor bisnis. Saat industri mulai membaik, Indonesia kembali berjuang dengan pandemi Covid-19 yang memasuki gelombang kedua. Sektor industri perhotelan menjadi salah satu sektor dengan dampak pandemi paling besar. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini penulis meneliti bagaimana konsep content marketing pada media sosial Instagram yang dilakukan oleh Hotel Conrad Bali, Fairmont Jakarta dan Doubletree by Hilton Surabaya yang mana hotel-hotel tersebut menjadi nominasi sebagai Indonesia Best MICE Hotel 2021. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan pada unggahan akun Instagram hotel-hotel tersebut yang dibagikan sejak tanggal 12 Mei 2021 hingga 12 Agustus 2021, yang mana pada waktu tersebut Indonesia sedang memasuki fase kedua pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis isi kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada masa pandemi gelombang kedua akun Instagram @conradbali membagikan konten yang menunjukkan value hotel yang memiliki unsur kehangatan, kedekatan dan kenyamanan dan juga konten tentang mascot hotel yakni Comonk yang merupakan singkatan dari Conrad Monkey. Konten yang dibagikan oleh akun Instagram hotel Faimont Jakarta memiliki unsur ketokohan yang kuat, seperti konten tentang chef hotel dibalik layar, pegawai hotel, dan tamu-tamu terkenal yang berkunjung ke hotel. Selama masa pandemi gelombang kedua, akun Instagram Doubletree by Hilton Surabaya membagikan konten yang bannyak membahas hal-hal yang dimiliki atau fasilitas yang ditawarkan oleh hotel.

Abstract

Kehadiran Artificial Intelligence sebagai inovasi teknologi berpotensi besar untuk membantu UMKM untuk mencapai tujuan pemasarannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana UMKM mengadopsi AI sebagai inovasi untuk diimplementasikan pada kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran digital dalam rangka menjangkau konsumennya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teori Difusi Inovasi oleh Everett Rogers sebagai kerangka analisis. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, serta melakukan wawancara mendalam pada anggota kelompok komunitas UMKM Indonesia di Facebook. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi teknologi AI telah dimanfaatkan oleh anggota kelompok UMKM Indonesia untuk mendukung digital marketing communication dengan cukup baik namun perlu pengoptimalan. Berdasarkan Teori Difusi Inovasi oleh Everett Rogers, pelaku UMKM yang mengadopsi AI umumnya termasuk dalam kategori early majority, yang cenderung membutuhkan bukti keberhasilan sebelum mencoba inovasi baru. Meskipun demikian, pelaku UMKM masih menghadapi kendala seperti kompleksitas teknologi, keterbatasan biaya, dan kurangnya dukungan eksternal berupa pelatihan atau fasilitas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan besarnya potensi AI bagi pelaku UMKM di masa mendatang untuk membantu mengoptimalkan kegiatan digital marketing communication yang merupakan proses menggunakan saluran digital untuk merancang dan menyampaikan pesan pemasaran kepada audiens target guna mencapai tujuan pemasaran tertentu. The presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a technological innovation holds significant potential to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in various aspects to achieve their marketing goals. This study aims to explore how MSMEs adopt AI as an innovation implemented in digital marketing communication activities to reach their customers. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with Everett Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation theory serving as the analytical framework. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with MSMEs participating in the "UMKM Indonesia" community group on Facebook, based on specific criteria. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns of AI utilization, challenges faced, and its impact on marketing effectiveness. The findings reveal that AI technology has been utilized by members of the "UMKM Indonesia" group to support digital marketing communication effectively, though optimization is still needed. According to Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation theory, MSME actors adopting AI generally belong to the early majority category, who tend to require evidence of success before embracing new innovations. Nevertheless, MSMEs still face challenges such as technological complexity, budget constraints, and limited external support in the form of training or facilities. This study highlights the significant potential of AI for MSMEs in the future to help them survive in the current digitalization era.
