Abstract

Sexual violence in higher education institutions is a serious issue that requires effective legal protection. Despite various regulations being issued to address sexual violence, their implementation in universities still faces many challenges. This study aims to analyze the legal protection in the prevention and handling of sexual violence in higher education institutions and to identify the factors affecting its effectiveness. A qualitative research approach with a case study design was used, involving in-depth interviews and document analysis related to existing regulations in several universities. The findings show that, although comprehensive regulations such as Law No. 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes and Ministerial Regulation No. 30 of 2021 have been established, their implementation is hindered by the low legal awareness among academic communities, limited resources within the Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS), and the strong patriarchal culture within campuses. To enhance the effectiveness of legal protection, it is necessary to strengthen the capacity of Satgas, intensify socialization efforts, and foster a campus culture that is more supportive of victims. This study concludes that optimal legal protection requires collaboration between the government, higher education institutions, and the campus community to create an environment free from sexual violence.

Abstract

Landslides are the biggest threat in the Kalirejo area. The dynamics of land movements in the mountains often cause cracks and potentially collapse. Landslides due to land fractures caused building damage. This study aimed to analyze the condition of a simple building on the influence of land fracture. The method used was conducting a field survey of existing buildings in the Kalirejo area. The data of the surveys were the percentage of building damage and building categorization. From the results of the analysis, the percentages of buildings in the safe category were 78 buildings or 54.17%, the buildings of the unsafe category were 51 buildings or 35.42%, and buildings with the unsafe category were 15 buildings out of 144 surveyed building with the percentage of 10.42%. Based on the results of the analysis using the Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) method, 15 buildings with unsafe conditions need to be relocated because they do not use the minimum structure required for simple buildings while the 51 buildings with unsafe conditions, repairs must be made to the structure according to the minimum requirements of simple buildings

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase of students' creative thinking, which taught using problem-based learning with local culture (PBL-Local Culture). In this study also saw the interaction between students' gender and students' prior mathematics ability. This type of research is quasi-experiment research, using pre-test post-test control group design. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25 through Two-Way ANOVA. The result shows that increasing the creative thinking abilities of students taught using problem-based learning with local culture is significantly higher than the creative thinking abilities of students taught using classical learning. Based on the result, we found that the use of problem-based learning local culture (PBL-Local Culture) offered the opportunity to give student new experience to solving real problems in their daily life, primarily related in their local culture. Students can describe how to solve the daily life problem with mathematically modelling. This learning model has given the facility to students at the end to improve their creative thinking ability. Students make the new model of problem-solving and finally they can solve that problem with their model. This study also found that the factor of students' gender and students' prior mathematics ability has not given the effect of students' creative thinking ability. It means that there is no gap in gender and the contribution of students' prior mathematics ability in students' academic skills. Based on this study, we recommendation of this model to using in other subjects in the learning class and to improving other learning ability, not limited in creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Medium Voltage Air Line Conductor (SUTM) has a voltage of 20 kV. The SUTM network should have the criteria for electricity safety techniques, including minimum safety distances between the trees and the environment and the effectiveness of electricity distribution development. There are ten stages in the installation of the new SUTM 20 kV network. The results of the study concluded that the Conductor used in the planning of the 20 kV SUTM new network construction was AAACS - 150 mm2. The safe distance between the conductors and the conditions contained Billboards are more than 0.5 meters with a minimum height difference of ± 2.5 meters. Whereas the safe distance between the conductor and the tree is ± 0.5 meters, but the Medium Voltage Network Construction Standard for Electric Power must have a height difference of more than 2.5 meters. The distance between the conductor and billboards is> 0.5 meters, which does not complete the standard instructions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of dating app usage through the lens of Cross Media theory, focusing on the integration of multiple digital platforms in the partner-seeking process. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three key informants who actively use dating apps such as Tinder, Bumble, Tantan, and Line People Nearby. The results reveal a concrete pattern of cross-media transition: all three informants reported moving from Tinder to Instagram before proceeding to WhatsApp as a strategy for identity verification and creating a sense of comfort before offline meetings. Additional findings highlight user preferences for specific apps; for example, Bumble is perceived as more exclusive and empowering for women, while Tinder is seen as more casual but sometimes overly suggestive. The discussion emphasizes that integrating dating apps with other social media platforms plays a crucial role in building trust, reducing the risk of fraud, and providing a safer space for identity verification. This study highlights the significance of cross-media literacy in online relationship-building and emphasizes the importance of digital literacy in safeguarding privacy and security within the evolving digital dating ecosystem.
