Abstract

Sumber Barokah merupakan usaha yang memproduksi kitab dan Al-Qur’an. Proses pengepakan dengan keadaan tempat kerja yang kurang ergonomis, menyebabkan terjadinya postur kerja yang berbahaya, sehingga menimbulkan keluhan muskuloskeletal pada pekerja. Dari hasil kuesioner Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionaire yang disebarkan pada 4 orang pekerja pada bagian pengepakan, selama 7 hari terakhir keluhan yang yaitu merasakan sakit pada leher 50%, kedua bahu 100%, punggung 100%, kedua siku 25%, pinggang 100%, serta kedua telapak dan pergelangan tangan 100%. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penilaian postur kerja dengan metode Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) serta pendekatan biomekanika. Dari hasil penilaian dengan metode OWAS didapat 50% aktivitas termasuk pada kategori 1, 13% aktivitas termasuk pada kategori 2, dan 25% aktivitas termasuk pada kategori 3 dan 13% aktivitas termasuk pada kategori 4. Maka pada kategori 3 dan 4 tersebut perlu untuk dilakukan perbaikan tempat kerja karena dapat menyebabkan resiko keluhan muskuloskeletal bagi pekerja. Dari hasil perbaikan didapat bahwa 100% aktivitas termasuk pada kategori 1. Sedangkan untuk pendekatan biomekanika, pengurangan beban yang terjadi pada area L4-L5 sebesar 45,93% pada aktivitas ke 4, 60,78% pada aktivitas ke 5, 40,53% pada aktivitas ke 6, dan 18,36% pada aktivitas ke 7

Abstract

Standarisasi sistem manajemen mutu telah menjadi isu utama dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Salah satu sistem manajemen mutu yang sekarang sedang berkembang di pasar internasional adalah ISO 9001:2008. CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang furniture kayu yang memproduksi garden furniture dan indoor furniture dengan bahan 100% kayu jati yang memasarkan produknya dalam pasar export. Saat ini CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha dituntut pelanggannya untuk menerapkan dan melakukan sertifikasi ISO 9001:2008. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun dokumentasi mutu berupa manual mutu dan prosedur mutu yang diperlukan di bagian produksi, mengidentifikasi proses bisnis perusahaan, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dalam rangka pengembangan sistem manajemen mutu CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. Dokumentasi mutu disusun melalui hasil pengamatan dan wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait di CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. Selain itu tahapan yang dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi proses bisnis perusahaan dan melakukan pemetaan awal untuk mengetahui kesenjangan antara kondisi perusahaan dengan standar ISO 9001:2008. Hasil akhir penelitian ini berupa perancangan 1(satu)  manual mutu dan 14 (empat belas) prosedur mutu pada bagian produksi. Prosedur  mutu yang dibuat telah diverifikasi dengan pihak manajemen CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. Untuk mengembangkan sistem manajemen mutu sesuai ISO 9001:2008 usulan bagi CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha berupa pembuatan instruksi kerja untuk tiap proses produksi, inspeksi dan penggunaan mesin, sebagai panduan dalam melakukan proses produksi, inspeksi, dan penggunaan mesin, selain itu bertujuan untuk menekan tingkat kecelakaan kerja.    Standardization of quality management system has become a major issue in the face of global challenges. One of the quality management system which is now being developed in the international market is ISO 9001:2008. CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha is a company engaged in the manufacture of wooden furniture garden furniture and indoor furniture with 100% teak wood market their products in export markets. Current CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha customers are required to implement and conduct the certification ISO 9001:2008. This study aims to develop quality documentation of quality manuals and quality procedures are required in the production, identifying the company's business processes, and provide improvement suggestions in order to develop a quality management system CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. Quality documentation compiled through observations and interviews with relevant parties on the CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. In addition stages performed by identifying the company's business processes and perform the initial mapping to determine the gap between the condition of the company with ISO 9001:2008. The final results of this study design in the form of a quality manual and 14 (fourteen) quality procedures in section  production. Quality procedures are made has been verified by the management of CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha. To develop a quality management system according ISO 9001:2008 proposal for CV Valasindo Sentra Usaha of manufacturing work instructions for each production process, inspection and use of machinery, as a guide in conducting the process of production, inspection, and use of the machine, but it aims to reduce the accident rate of work.

Abstract

CV Ali Griya Semarang is a company of truss manufacturing. Truss was various kind of canal, reng and spandex. Process production in the company has not been functioning optimally because the company still finding defect product. And even average of percentage failure product more than 2% bigger than percentage failure product that company determined, namely 0,1%. This research intended to analyze the cause of defect factors in process production. The methods of this study is combining on Failure Mode and Efect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). A two-phase research approach has been proposed and used in the study. In the first phase, FMEA used to identify the failure modes and determined the potensial failure modes. In the second phase, Fault Tree Analysis, a qualitatif and quantitatif analysis was used to analyze the root cause from the subsistem that had big RPN. The analysis of results indicates that roll machine subsistem is the most important risk in FMEA with RPN value 466,94. Then FTA indicates that failure of bolt and nuts of the roll setting is the most important risk in roll machine with Fussell-Importance Value 0,903. ABSTAK            CV Ali Griya Semarang adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi atap baja ringan. Atap baja ringan terdiri dari berbagai  jenis canal, reng dan spandek. Proses produksi di perusahaan belum berfungsi secara optimal karena perusahaan masih menemukan cacat produk. Dan bahkan rata-rata persentase produk cacat yang dihasilkan lebih dari 2% jauh melebihi persentase produk cacat yang ditentukan perusahaan sebesar 0,1%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab kegagalan  dalam proses produksi. Metode penelitian ini adalah menggabungkan pada Failure Mode dan Analisis Efect (FMEA) dan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). Pendekatan penelitian dua tahap diusulkan dan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pada tahap pertama, FMEA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi mode kegagalan dan menentukan mode kegagalan potensial. Pada tahap kedua, fault tree analysis, sebuah analisa kualitatif dan kuantitatif yangdigunakan untuk menganalisa akar permasalahan dari subsistem yang memiliki RPN besar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa moda kegagalan posisi roll yang berubah adalah risiko yang paling berpengaruh dalam FMEA dengan memiliki nilai RPN sebesar 466,94. Kemudian FTA menunjukkan bahwa kegagalan baut dan mur dari pengaturan roll adalah  risiko yang paling berpengaruh dalam mesin roll dengan nilai Fussell-Importance Value sebesar0,903.

Abstract

Usaha Budidaya Ikan Lele telah berkembang pesat di Kota Demak, salah satunya adalah UKM Sangkuriang. Demak merupakan daerah lahan kering dengan sumber air terbatas, sehingga masyarakat memanfaatkan air sungai yang telah mengalami pencemaran polutan domestik dan air sisa budidaya sebagai media budidaya ikan lele. Sementara itu, petani ikan lele belum menerapkan teknologi pengolahan air limbah dan belum mengetahui kriteria dan karakterisitik yang dibutuhkan dalam pemilihan teknologi tersebut akibat keterbatasan pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, perlu diberikan usulan alternatif dan kriteria pemilihan teknologi pengolahan air limbah yang tepat pada kegiatan budidaya ikan lele di UKM Sangkuriang sebagai upaya reuse air limbah secara ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan analytical network process (ANP) dan Technique for Order Preference By Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Metode ini digunakan untuk pemilihan alternatif dengan kriteria yang memiliki hubungan ketergantungan. Studi ini menghasilkan bobot 14 sub kriteria dalam 4 kriteria (ekonomi, lingkungan, teknis, dan sosial) serta ranking dari  alternatif yang diusulkan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan kolam biofiltrasi menjadi alternatif terpilih dengan nilai kedekatan terhadap solusi ideal terbesar yaitu 0,781. Kemudian 0,342 untuk biofilter anaerob, 0,427 untuk trickling filter, dan 0,517 untuk rotating biological contactor (RBC). AbstractCatfish cultivations have been grow in Demak, one of them is UKM Sangkuriang. Demak is dry land area with limited water source, so that people use polluted watercourse by domestic waste and cultivation water residue. Whereas people have not applied waste water treatment technology because of lack of knowlege. They have not known about criteria and characteristic that are be used to select the waste water treatment technology. Therefore, suggestion of alternative of technology and criteria of technology selection that appropiate to this problem is needed as the effort to reuse waste water eco-friendly. The used methods are analytical network process (ANP) dan Technique for Order Preference By Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) approach. Those methods are used to select the waste water treatment technology with dependent relation analysis. This study has resulted the ranking of 14 subcriterias and 4 alternatives. Based on the calculation, known the highest to the least value of ideal solution similarity are biofiltration reservoir (0,781), rotating biological contactor (RBC) (0,517), trickling filter (0,427), and anaerobic biofilter (0,342).  Being a highest value of ideal solution similarity, Kolam Biofiltrasi is be selected alternative of waste water treatment technology for UKM Sangkuriang.

Abstract

Teknologi di bidang transportasi semakin berkembang dan mendorong hadirnya alat transportasi online sepeda motor. Seiring maraknya keberadaan ojek online, muncul permasalahan yang terjadi di kalangan pengemudi yang menunjukkan masih rendahnya persepsi akan keselamatan berkendara. Berdasarkan data BPS pada tahun 2017, jumlah kecelakaan yang terjadi di Indonesia mencapai 103.228 peristiwa dan sepeda motor memiliki persentasi tertinggi yang penyebab utamanya adalah perilaku pengemudi. Perilaku pengemudi dalam hal keselamatan berkendara berhubungan erat dengan iklim keselamatan yang dirasakannya dalam bekerja. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diawali dengan pemetaan iklim keselamatan menggunakan enam variabel dalam Safety Climate Questionnaire-Modified for Online Drivers (SCQ-MOD), yaitu komunikasi dan prosedur, tekanan pekerjaan, komitmen perusahaan, hubungan, pelatihan pengemudi, dan peraturan keselamatan. Selain itu akan dilihat pula gambaran iklim keselamatan berdasarkan karakteristik responden. Hasil pemetaan iklim keselamatan menunjukkan bahwa prioritas perlu diberikan pada variabel tekanan pekerjaan, komitmen perusahaan, dan hubungan pekerja dengan pemberi kerja. Terakhir, diberikan rekomendasi kegiatan mengemudi yang mengutamakan keselamatan dalam bentuk safety riding, guna meningkatkan iklim keselamatan, terutama pada variabel prioritas tersebut.

Abstract

Pekalongan is one of the batik cities in Central Java, many batik SMEs thrive in Pekalongan. Batik SMEs indicated a cause of environmental pollution that occurred in the city of Pekalongan. Pollution caused by the use of chemicals in the dyeing process. This study aims to measure the eco-costs and eco-efficiency rate of batik products, as well as looking for suggestions on improving eco-efficiency. Eco-efficiency rate is measured by using LCA (Life Cycle Assess-ment) doped with SimaPro software. This method is used to evaluate the environmental impacts arising from the use of the constituent materials. The results of the data processing show that the value of eco-costs for chemical dye batik is Rp 188,028.32, with eco-efficiency rate is 68.74%. Batik industries are not sustainable and affordable. Economizing of the resourcing and applying cleaner production can be accomplished to enhance the eco-efficiency rate. Cleaner production can be achieved using natural dyes and implement End of Life strategies.

Abstract

There is a kindly new concept in logistics that related to the reusing, remanufacturing, and refurbishing of products, announced as reverse logistic (RL). While conventional or forward logistics is defined as the process of moving goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption, RL is defined contrarily. It allows the return of the products to be recycled, reworked, reused, or crushed for disposal. It has been growing out worldwide, affecting all the levels of supply chains in various industry sectors since the best RL operations would lead to higher sales revenue and reduced costs. However, regardless of its benefits, there are some barriers of the RL implementation, especially in the developing countries. The objective of this research is to identify the barriers of RL implementation in a car battery industry in Indonesia and study the interaction among those barriers to find the the root barrier using interpretative structural modelling. These barriers are then further analyzed using MICMAC analysis to look for the priority of the strategy to manage the barriers. The finding could help the managers to generate some policies toward the RL implementation.

Abstract

The implementation of Six Sigma methodology has proven to be highly effective in enhancing quality and reducing defects in manufacturing processes. This paper investigates the application of Six Sigma principles to reduce defects in the production of automotive casting parts, specifically cylinder block. By utilizing the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) framework, the study identifies critical factors contributing to defects and implements strategic improvements to mitigate these issues. It showed that the "Sunakui" was the most common type of defects in the casting process.  In measure phase, the defect per million opportunity of product was measured by the value of 5,064 with the sigma value of 4,091σ. Our study determined that the main factor leading to faults was the presence of wrong or unsuitable sand composition. To address this issue, we recommend implementing a Poka-Yoke system with an alarm to monitor and ensure the appropriate sand composition. The result suggested significant reductions in defect rates, leading to improved product quality.

Abstract

The implementation of Six Sigma methodology has demonstrated significant effectiveness in enhancing quality and reducing defects in manufacturing processes. This study examines the application of Six Sigma principles to minimize defects in automotive cylinder block production. Employing the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) framework, the research identifies critical factors contributing to defects and implements strategic improvements to address quality issues. The Define phase established key elements related to quality products, including processes, suppliers, customers, and their requirements, utilizing SIPOC diagrams and Critical to Quality (CTQ) factors. In the Measure phase, data collection focused on determining process baselines and root causes, employing Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) and Control Charts. Analysis revealed a DPMO value of 4,987 with a sigma level of 4.077σ. The Analyze phase identified causes of production process failures, with "Sunakui" (sand hole) emerging as the predominant defect type in cylinder block production. The study concluded that unsuitable sand composition was the root cause leading to defects. To address this issue, the research recommends implementing a Poka-Yoke system with an integrated alarm to monitor and ensure appropriate sand composition, thereby enhancing overall product quality.
