Abstract

Background: Stunting is one of prevalent form of malnutrition affecting children worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 148.1 million children under the age of five are classified as stunted, meaning their height is below the expected standard for their age. It is suspected that stunting associated with developmental delays in children. Stunting can result from multiple factors, one of which is the lack of maternal knowledge and awareness regarding this condition. Purpose: This study aims to describe the experiences and understanding of mothers with children diagnosed with stunting. Methods: This research employs a qualitative descriptive design. The study sample consists of eight mothers with stunted children aged 1–5 years, selected using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis. Results: The findings indicate that most respondents perceive stunting merely as a condition characterized by short stature and low body weight, often attributing it to genetic factors. Their knowledge and understanding of children's dietary patterns and maternal nutrition during pregnancy remain incomplete. Additionally, environmental hygiene practices are limited to basic activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting, without considering other hygiene aspects that may impact child health. Conclusion: Although respondents regularly attend posyandu (integrated health service posts) and acknowledge its benefits, and receive information about stunting from multiple sources such as posyandu, midwives, and community health volunteers (kader kesehatan), the absence of a structured and routine stunting awareness program in the village poses a significant challenge in strengthening maternal understanding and prevention efforts. The information received is lacks depth, resulting in suboptimal application of knowledge in daily practices.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is the backbone of the community's economic activities in general. Not only as a source of food for the people every day, but as a source of foreign exchange for the country as well. Karang Bayan Village, which is located in Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, is an example of a village with a community that until now still relies on the agricultural sector as a life support. This can be seen from the livelihoods of the people, most of whom work as farmers. The commodities planted by Karang Bayan Village farmers are rice, mangosteen, rambutan and durian. The cultivation of these plants does not always run smoothly, one of the factors is the presence of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT). One way to control pests is to use pesticides on plants. Pesticides consist of 2 types, namely chemical pesticides and natural or vegetable pesticides. One example of a plant that can be used as a pesticide is the papaya plant (Carica papaya). Given that papaya leaves are very easy to find and are not put to good use by the Karang Bayan community, the purpose of this service activity is to provide training and assistance in making natural papaya pesticides in Berembeng Timur Hamlet, Karang Bayan Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency. Pesticide manufacturing activities This natural pesticide program starts on December 27, 2022 until January 24, 2023. This natural pesticide production and training activity aims to provide information and invite the public to be able to make their own natural pesticides so that they can be used to reduce the number of pests such as fleas on cultivated plants, especially in mangosteen plant.

Abstract

Indonesia’s literacy crisis, evidenced by its low PISA rankings (score: 371; rank: 74/79) and the collapse of major bookstores (e.g., Gunung Agung, Kinokuniya), underscores the urgency for innovative solutions like Balai Pustaka’s EduBP, a digital literacy platform. Despite its potential, EduBP’s sales remain low (16.5% of revenue), necessitating research into consumer behavior to enhance adoption. This study investigates how brand image, product quality, and price perception influence customer loyalty, mediated by customer satisfaction, in the context of EduBP’s digital platform. Using purposive sampling, 125 EduBP users were surveyed via Likert-scale questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS, with validity (KMO > 0.5; loading factor > 0.4) and reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.6) tests ensuring robustness. Brand image significantly drives satisfaction (β = 0.476, *p* = 0.001) and loyalty (β = 0.295, *p* = 0.004), while product quality shows no effect. Price perception indirectly affects loyalty (β = 0.703, *p* = 0.000) but not satisfaction. Customer satisfaction strongly mediates loyalty (β = 0.703, *p* = 0.000). Balai Pustaka must prioritize brand reputation and CRM strategies (e.g., after-sales service) over quality enhancements. Future research should explore market segmentation and technology acceptance factors (TAM) to refine digital literacy strategies. This study contributes to the nascent literature on digital product loyalty in emerging markets.

Abstract

Based on research (Apriani, et al 2018), the most common breastfeeding problem is breast swelling due to breast milk dams that cause breast milk not to come out smoothly. Cold compresses are one solution to the problem. Indonesia is a region rich in natural resources. These natural resources are not only used for food, but can also be an alternative medicine. Red betel is a plant that has a pain-reducing effect. The content of cabbage leaves helps in increasing blood perfusion to the swelling area, dilates capillaries and acts as a counter barrier so as to reduce swelling and inflammation of the breast so that milk flows Based on the description above, the author makes a product innovation, namely "Breast-Pren" which is a compress containing aloe vera, red betel and cabbage ingredients which are good for reducing breast swelling due to breast milk dams in nursing mothers

Abstract

Interest in investing in Indonesia's capital market has increased, especially among the younger generation. However, this phenomenon has not been fully accompanied by adequate financial literacy. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy on young people's investment interest in the capital market. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 250 respondents aged 18-30 years in the Jabodetabek area. The instrument was a Likert questionnaire measuring three dimensions of financial literacy: knowledge, attitude, and behavior. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The expected results include identification of the most influential dimensions of literacy, as well as financial education recommendations. This research contributes to OJK policy and digital technology-based education as a form of protection for young investors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the assessment of article text material using Quiz Whizzer and to describe the challenges encountered during the implementation of formative assessment based on interactive quizzes through Quiz Whizzer. The subjects of this study were students of Class XII MIPA 3 at SMAN 4 Kota Cirebon. The research employed a narrative method with descriptive analysis techniques. The findings showed that the results of the formative test assessment in article text learning using Quiz Whizzer yielded an average score percentage of 58.08, which falls into the moderate category. However, the use of Quiz Whizzer presented several challenges, such as internet access issues, a ranking reduction system, the ability to access browser tabs—allowing students to search for answers online—and the risk of delayed participation in the quiz forum, which could result in students not joining the quiz

Abstract

Factory Overhead Costs (FOC) significantly influence operational efficiency, particularly in the context of machine maintenance, which plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted production processes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive maintenance strategies integrated with digital technology at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing data from the company's annual and sustainability reports for the 2022–2024 period. Samples were selected using purposive sampling, focusing on data relevant to machine maintenance costs. The analysis examined the proportion of maintenance costs within total FOC and assessed the impact of preventive strategies on reducing operational downtime and unplanned repair expenses. The findings reveal that the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology for real-time machine condition monitoring led to a 20% reduction in repair costs and improved overall operational efficiency. Preventive maintenance also proved effective in minimizing the risk of unexpected breakdowns that disrupt production. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of digital technologies with preventive maintenance strategies to enhance cost efficiency. This approach offers valuable insights for companies in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and underscores the importance of strategic investment in maintenance technologies to strengthen long-term competitiveness
