Abstract

The global COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the intervention delivery of Indonesia’s stunting reduction program. In this context, e-counseling can be adapted as an innovative approach to deliver interventions. This study aimed to explore counselors’ experiences when conducting tele-counseling. The five participants in this phenomenological study were counselors who had received breastfeeding and infant and young child feeding (IYCF) counseling training and participated in counseling service activities. The participants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. In-depth interviews were conducted with each of the participant until data saturation was reached. Each interview was transcribed and analyzed using thematic analysis method. Four themes were found in this study: exciting experiences, essential counseling skills, privacy concerns, and tele-counseling as service solution. The recommendation derived from this study is to continue the IYCF tele-counseling program as a service solution at health facilities.   Abstrak Pengalaman Konselor Telekonseling Pemberian Makan Bayi dan Anak: Studi Fenomenologi. Abstract

The incidence of infections in preterm infants is still quite high. In this study, oral care with human breast milk was implemented in risk preterm infants as a precaution. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a non- equivalent control group and posttest only design in 40 risk preterm infants. The participants were divided into two groups of 20. The data were analyzed using independent t-test and a Wilcoxon test. The results show that this intervention has an effect on the incidence of late-onset sepsis in preterm infants. The effect is based on symptoms: body temperature instability (p= 0.021), C-reactive protein (p= 0.006), and leukocytes (p= 0.020) all indicated differences between the two groups. It is recommended that this practice be adopted as a routine therapy program in perinatology. Abstrak Perawatan Mulut Mencegah Sepsis Neonatorum Awitan Lambat pada Bayi Prematur Risiko Tinggi. Abstract

Aims: Maintenance of skin and tissue integrity is one of the main focuses of various health care facilities throughout the world so that the implementation of effective prevention of skin trauma requires a protocol for early identification of at-risk patients in prevention of skin trauma. Objective: Knowing the effektiveness of the SRAMT instrument compared to other skin trauma monitoring instruments for monitoring neonatal skin trauma. Method: This research method is in the form of systematic review, database search is done through proquest, SAGE Journal, Sciencedirect, Clinicalkey Nursing and manual research. There were eight journal articles that met the inclusion criteria. Based on the article it was concluded that the instrument had gone through validity, reliability, interrater tests and correlation coefficients so that it was suitable for use in pediatric and neonatal patients. Result: There were seven journal articles that met the inclusion criteria. The most common type of skin injury are caused by the use of an indwelling vascular catheter and medical devices. The most common locations for skin injury are the nasal septum and the head area, including the face and scalp. Compared to other skin injury monitoring instruments, the SRAMT subscale is more comprehensive by having three skin trauma risk assessment sections, including skin trauma risk categories, management guidelines based on skin injury risk categories and prevention that can be carried out based on the type of skin injury that occurred. This guide is very important to reduce the risk of skin injury in neonates and provide uniformity in nursing care provided by nurses.

Abstract

The concept of virtual care has not been consistently defined for its use in healthcare. Overall, the definition of virtual care available is in the form of the use of communication technology with the aim of providing health services. This study aims to clarify the concept of virtual care. Walker and Avant concept analysis methods were used in this study. Literature searches were also conducted from four databases: PubMed, CINAHL, and Scopus, and Google Scholar, to find articles until July 2022. The literature search obtained 14 articles on virtual treatment from different disciplines.  Four attributes were developed from the concept analysis, including 1) remote health care delivery, interaction between patients and health workers, 2) communication between patients and health workers, 3) communication using audio, visual, and short message-based technology, Asynchronous, 4) aiming to improve access, effectiveness, and efficiency of services. Two types of antecedents were identified in the concept of virtual care related to virtual care needs involving factors such as use cases, payment barriers, regulatory changes, and technology, as well as antecedents from virtual care, namely conventional face-to-face consultations and considering physical or geographical constraints. In addition, it was found to be in the form of increased service effectiveness, service efficiency, and cost reduction. Conclusion: Concept analysis provides four comprehensive attributes, antecedents as well as consequence. However, this concept can be used to provide nursing care remotely, assessing the provision of remote nursing care

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the weight gain of premature babies and Low Birth Weight (LBW) babies after carrying out Kangaroo Method Treatment (PMK). The research method used is a systematic review through searching for articles from the ProQuest, ScienceDirect, PubMed, Sage Journal and Taylor & Francis Online databases. The results of the study showed that FMD intervention would be able to increase the weight of premature babies more than routine care. In conclusion, by doing PMK regularly, the baby's weight will increase. A duration of six hours has been proven to be more effective in increasing a baby's weight than a duration of one hour. PMK can be used as a cheap complementary care intervention for premature or low birth weight babies when care facilities are limited.
