Abstract

Elementary school is 2 cempaka one of two elementary schools located suburban Banjarbaru based on and random checks for class I to VI respectively 2 people, who totaled 12 people. 10 of them had dental caries. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of cariogenic snack consumtion with dental caries in fourth and fifthgrade student in elementary school 2 Cempaka Banjarbaru City. Based on the results of the study were 32 respondent or 50.8% in the habit of eating snacks carieogenic often, with number of dental caries, 40 respondent or 63.5%, while as many as 31 respondent (49.2 %) in the habit of rarely consumed cariogenic snack with numbers its low caries by 23 respondents or 36,5 %. Significan value (sig) = 0.000 and the value of alpha = 0.005 which sig<alpha (0,000< 0.005), so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted that there is a relationship between the consumption of cariogenic snacks with dental caries in fourth and fifth grade student of SDN 2 Cempaka City Banjarbaru. For dental health workers ought to maximize at puskesmas UKGS activities in order to caries can be prevented and caught early, and perform dental fillings, cavities that process does not continue, constantly improve and provide knowledge on the impac of cariogenic snacks consumed in large quantities, without regard to hygiene and health teeth and mouth and give firmness to the merchants that do not sell food that could damage the health of the teeth aroud the school, so that school snack habit can be reduced

Abstract

Tim Omega 3 prodi Teknik Kimia UAD telah melaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masysrakat (PKM) di Kalurahan Caturharjo, Pandak, Bantul, Yogyakarta. ibu-ibu pejabat  dan penggerak PKK kalurahan menjadi target PKM. PKM fokus pada sosialisasi porang, produk-produk porang, pembuatan konyaku  dan manfaat porang untuk kesehatan. Kegiatan ini berhasil dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan kuisioner 94,7% peserta menyatakan puas dan mendapat pengetahuan baru. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan peserta mengenai porang dan produk -produknya serta manfaat kesehatan mengkonsumsi produk porang. Mie porang yang rendah kandungan gula dan tinggi serat untuk diet karbohidrat dapat dijadikan produk kuliner berdampingan dengan produk lokal mie lethek sehingga pasar kuliner mie di Kalurahan Caturharjo makin meluas.Abstract. The Omega 3 Team of the UAD Chemical Engineering study program has carried out Community Service (PKM) activities in Caturharjo Village, Pandak District, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The targets of PKM are the mothers of officials and PKK activists of the village. PKM is focused on the socialization of porang, porang products, making konyaku and the benefits of porang for health. This activity has been carried out well. Based on the results of the questionnaire processing, 94.7% of participants stated that they were satisfied and gained new knowledge. This activity is expected to increase participants' knowledge about porang and its products as well as the health benefits of consuming porang products. Porang noodles which are low in sugar and high in fiber for a carbohydrate diet can be used as a culinary product to accompany local lethek noodles so that the culinary noodle market in Caturharjo Village will expand.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of work motivation variables and the physical environment simultaneously on employee performance at PT Arkadia Sinergi Indonesia. This research method uses quantitative methods with a sample size of 70 respondents, the data analysis technique used is: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, simple correlation coefficient test, multiple correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination analysis test, t test and f test. Based on the results of the t test, it was found that the calculated t value was 2.048, which exceeded the critical value of 1.668, and the significance value for the work motivation variable (X1) was 0.004, smaller than the probability set at 0.05 (0.004<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the work motivation variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y) at PT. Arkadia Sinergi Indonesia. Based on the results of the t test, it was found that the calculated t value was 3.562, which exceeded the critical value of 1.168, and the significance value for the physical work environment variable (X2) was 0.001, smaller than the probability set at 0.05 (0.001<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the physical work environment variable (X2) has a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y) at PT. Arkadia Sinergi Indonesia. Based on the F test results, the calculated f value was 6.257, which exceeds the critical value of 3.134, and the significance value is 0.003, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the work motivation variables (X1) and the physical work environment (X2) together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y) at PT Arkadia Sinergi Indonesia

Abstract

In this era modern education, learning media cannot be separated from the on going learning media cannot be separated from the ongoing learning process in elementary schools. This study aims to improve political education in the Islamic perspective on Umar bin Khattab’s leadership using the Islamic Childern’s Game (GAMASIS) in class VI SDN Narawita 02. The focus of this research is to improve the leardership spirit of students in SD according to Umar bin Khattab’s leadership. This research is a qualitative research with D&D method and ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students of Class VI SDN Narawita 02 which opened 27 people. Indicators of success in research can be measured by obtaining a score of answers in the answers to Umar bin Khattab’s leadership questions on the Wordwall site. The results showed that 98% of the quality of learning media very good criteria was stated to be relevant to the results of research and validation of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers at SDN Narawita 02, as well as Islamic Chilldern’s Games learning media (GAMASIS) which were suitable for use and did not need to be revised.

Abstract

The byproduct of the batik industry is a liquid waste containing heavy metals like iron (Fe) which can be harmful to the environment and aquatic ecosystems. The aim of this study is to synthesize and optimize silica derived from snake fruit peel ash as an adsorbent for iron (Fe) in the liquid waste of the batik industry. Snake fruit peel is often overlooked as waste and is identified to have a high silica content. The research method was carried out in the calcination process at a temperature of 650°C for 1 hour to convert and change the snake fruit peel powder into ash, then extracted using a 2M HCl solution. The final stage of silica synthesis is drying and grinding. The Silica characterization was analyzed using the FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) and Surface Area Analyzer (SAA) tests.  The metal content in the waste was analyzed with AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrometer). The results showed that the silica from snake fruit peel ash contains silica constituent groups, namely silanol (Si-OH), as an active site for the adsorption process. The surface area of the silica is around 56.347 m2/g, the total pore volume is about 0.0193 cc/g, and the average pore diameter is approximately 26.6745 mm. The application test on batik liquid waste showed a decrease in Fe concentration from 0.487 mg/L to 0.343 mg/L at contact time of 60 minutes. This research proves that silica from snake fruit peel ash offers an innovative and sustainable solution for the treatment of batik industry liquid waste and in other liquid waste processing.

Abstract

Era Globalisasi sekarang ini kemajuan teknologi sangat berkembang dengan begitu pesat.Salah satu kemajuan teknologi informasi merambah pada bidang kesehatan. Penggunaan dan pemanfaatan teknologi ini merupakan salah satu solusi tepat bagi pemecahan masalah layanan publik. Setidaknya pemanfaatan hal itu akan mengatasi masalah-masalah geografis, waktu dan sosial ekonomis. Beberapa penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bidang kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan serta dapat merubah perilaku kesehatan. Abstract

Desa Teluk Selong di dapatkan informasi bahwa rata-rata pekerjaan kepala keluarga di Desa Teluk Selong pengrajin souvenir batu aji. Dimana selama bekerja membuat kerajinan batu aji para pengrajin selalu merokok dalam kesehariannya. Hasil pemeriksaan sementara terdapat 3 orang, diketahui terdapat permukaan gigi yang di tutupi stain sebanyak lebih dari 28%, dengan skor 3.1 dan masuk dalam kriteria buruk. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di desa ini ditujukan untuk menurunkan skor Oral Hygiene Index Simplified (OHIS) menjadi kategori baik. Lama waktu seluruh kegiatan adalah 6 bulan dengan melibatkan Puskesmas Martapura Barat. Jumlah sasaran sebanyak 70 orang perokok aktif. Kegiatan utama berupa pengaplikasian Larutan Baking Soda. Hasil pemeriksaan Tobacco Stain dan Oral Hygiene Index Simplified (OHIS) setelah tindakan aplikasi larutan Baking Soda dilakukan pada 70 orang. Didapatkan hasil OHI-S dengan kriteria Baik sebanyak 61 orang (87,1%) dan kriteria Sedang sebanyak 9 (12,9%). Dengan skor OHI-S rata-ratanya bernilai 0,65 (Kriteria Baik). Selanjutnya monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan Bagi perokok aktif untuk menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut agar skor OHI-S tetap terjaga dalam skor Baik. Untuk Puskesmas Martapura Barat disarankan untuk rutin mengadakan penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan OHI-S di Bantaran Sungai Martapura Desa Teluk Selong Kabupaten Banjar.

Abstract

n Indonesia, the sweetest gum is consumed by children. One of them is sucrosegum, which has a sweet, varied texture and shape. This is a factor that causes an increasein sucrose consumption in all countries by ± 2% every year in the last decade. This increaseis greater than the increase in the world's population each year which is equal to ± 1.4% -1.6%. Based on a preliminary study of 12 students, an average salivary pH of 6.1 showedthat the pH of the saliva was acidic. Chewing gum can reduce the occurrence of caries in theteeth due to saliva which helps in reducing the number of bacteria in the oral cavity which isthe main cause of caries.This study aims to determine the differences in the pH of saliva chewing xylitol gumand sucrose in SDN 2 Guntung Paikat Banjarbaru. This research is a quasi-experimentaltype of research with One Group Pretest Post Test research design. The sampling techniquewas purposive sampling with a total sample of 66 students with data analysis using theIndependent Sample T-test.The results of this study showed the average pH of saliva before chewing xylitol gumwas 6,967, before chewing sucrose gum (big babol) was 7,073, while the average valueafter chewing xylitol gum was 7,270, after chewing sucrose gum was 6,624 with thedifference in value of xylitol gum was 0,303, and sucrose gum (big babol) was -0,448. Theunpaired t test results obtained p value = 0,000 (p = <0.05).In conclusion there is a difference in the pH of saliva chewing xylitol gum and sucrosein SDN 2 Guntung Paikat Banjarbaru. It is recommended that the public know thecomposition of the gum consumed and prefer sugar-free gum for the sake of oral health.

Abstract

The Chemical Engineering Department of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) conducted a Community Service Program (PKM) aimed at enhancing the quality of Mie Lethek, a traditional noodle dish, through omega-3 fortification. This initiative addressed the increasing demand for healthy food while preserving local culinary heritage. The program, conducted in Caturharjo, Bantul, involved 27 participants, including local vendors and members of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) team. Activities included a presentation on omega-3 benefits, practical demonstrations of omega-3 fortification, and distribution of fortified noodle samples. Surveys revealed over 80% of participants gained new insights and expressed interest in adopting the innovation. Nutritional fortification improved product quality, particularly in increasing omega-3 content. This initiative highlights the potential for Mie Lethek to compete in the health food market and contribute to the local economy, demonstrating a scalable model for fortifying traditional foods with functional nutrients

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' digital literacy through the implementation of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) digital-based learning model. The subjects of the study were 23 fifth-grade students at SDN Kraton 5. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle, the results showed that students' digital literacy indicators had not yet met the established success criteria. This was due to students’ limited understanding of technology use in learning and the insufficient integration of content, pedagogy, and technology. Improvements were made in the second cycle, including the use of interactive digital media and collaborative learning strategies, resulting in a significant increase in students' digital literacy skills. The results in the second cycle showed that 86% of students met the success criteria, indicating that the learning objectives had been achieved. Thus, the digital-based TPACK model proved effective in enhancing elementary students’ digital literacy. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) berbasis digital. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas V di SDN Kraton 5. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus pertama, hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa indikator literasi digital siswa masih belum mencapai kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran serta keterbatasan integrasi antara konten, pedagogi, dan teknologi. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus kedua, termasuk penggunaan media digital interaktif dan strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi digital siswa. Hasil pada siklus kedua menunjukkan bahwa 86% siswa mencapai kriteria keberhasilan, yang menandakan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, model TPACK berbasis digital terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital siswa SD.
