Abstract

This article will explain one of theories in learning; that is theory of Thorndike. This theory is developed by education psychology experts from America whose name Edward Lee Thorndike, (Next will be mentioned as Thorndike). Thorndike was born in Wiliamsburg on 31 August 1874 and died in Montrose, New York, on 10 August 1949. He is prominent figure from Fungsionalism ideology of Columbia. After finished his study in Harvard University, he works in Teacher’s College of Columbia under lead of James Mckeen Cattell. Here, his passion to learning process, education and intelligences. On 1898, in his 24 ages, Thorndike publisehed his own books entitled Animal Intelligence, An Experimental Study of Association Process in Animal. Thorndike has profession as an educator and Psychologist. Graduated from his first strata form Wesleyen University in Conecticut on 1895, second strata from Harvard on 1896 and seize his doctor degree in Colombia on 1898. He published some books such as: Educational Psychology (1903), Mental and social Measurements (1904), Animal Intelligence (1911), A teacher’s Word Book (1921),Your City (1939), dan Human Nature and The Social Order (1940) . And it will explain such as: Explaining law of learning based on Thorndike, explaining how learning principle of Thorndike in learning process, explaining application of Thorndike theory in learning, and giving an analysis to Thorndike theory 1

Abstract

Class Action Research aims to improve reading comprehension skills through the application of engineering scheme on MA students. Darut Tauhid Tanjungsari Krejengan. This study was conducted on 40 students MA. Darut Tauhid Tanjungsari Krejengan Probolinggo of the total amount to 78 students. Data collected malalui observation of teachers, students and study notes. The results showed the average value before the action research by 50%, and the average value of 73% after the action. This shows an increase in students’ reading comprehension skills MA. Darut Tauhid by 23%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji coba produk media Google Sites dengan menggunakan Model CIRC pada  pembelajaran membaca puisi pada siswa MA Darul Hasan Dan MA Sunan Kalijaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang mengacu pada teori pengembangan Borg & Gall (1983). Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X MA Darul Hasan Dan MA Sunan Kalijaga. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan  penilaian yang didapat dari ahli media 66 (Valid), ahli materi 76% (valid), hasil uji coba skala terbatas 67% (valid) dan penilaian dari ahli praktisi yaitu guru bahasa Indonesia  di MA Darul Hasan mencapai 80% (kriteria valid), dan hasil uji coba skala besar 97%  (sangat valid) sedangkan penilaian dari ahli praktisi yaitu guru bahasa Indonesia MA Sunan Kalijaga itu mendapat skor rata-rata 85% dengan (kriteria sangat valid), yang dari setiap penilaian tersebut memasuki kriteria layak, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil uji coba produk media Google Sites dengan menggunakan media CIRC dikatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca puisi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic counseling guidance in enhancing female students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMP Muhammad Shodiq Brani Kulon. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Islamic counseling significantly improves students’ motivation to learn. Motivation transformation is evident in the shift from extrinsic to intrinsic motivation, rooted in spiritual awareness. Counseling techniques such as muhasabah (self-reflection), tadabbur (deep contemplation), and istisyarah (consultation) effectively build students’ self-awareness regarding the value of learning PAI. Furthermore, the role of counselors as spiritual companions and the support of a religious school environment contribute to the program's effectiveness. The study recommends strengthening counselors’ competencies in Islamic counseling and developing media that align with students’ digital culture. These findings contribute to the development of a contextual and transformative model of Islamic counseling in secondary education.

Abstract

Perkembangan riset di perguruan tinggi menuntut mahasiswa tidak hanya memahami teori, tetapi juga menguasai metodologi penelitian secara aplikatif. Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong (UNZAH) sebagai kampus berbasis pesantren merancang Sekolah Riset sebagai program pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penelitian mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membangun budaya akademik yang kritis, meningkatkan kapasitas metodologis, serta menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan intensif, pendampingan proposal, klinik metodologi, serta publikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi pendukung riset, serta lahirnya jejaring riset kolaboratif antara dosen dan mahasiswa. Sekolah Riset ini berperan sebagai wahana transformasi budaya akademik di lingkungan UNZAH yang berbasis integrasi nilai pesantren dan tuntutan akademik modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep etika mencari ilmu dalam Tafsir Al-Munir karya Wahbah Az-Zuhayli pada kisah Nabi Musa dan Khidir dalam Surat Al-Kahfi ayat 60-73. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kepustakaan dan analisis isi terhadap sumber data sekunder berupa buku Tafsir Al-Munir dan jurnal terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menurut Tafsir Al-Munir, etika mencari ilmu yang terkandung dalam kisah tersebut meliputi memiliki semangat tinggi, rendah hati, tidak cepat marah, berkomitmen, bertanya sesuai izin guru, dan meminta maaf atas kesalahan. Etika tersebut masih relevan diterapkan dalam pendidikan kontemporer terutama pada aspek tujuan, metode, dan materi pendidikan. Etika mencari ilmu penting untuk membangun pendidikan berkualitas menuju generasi berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi wawasan tentang urgensi etika dalam pendidikan dan mendorong penelitian lebih lanjut terkait implementasinya.

Abstract

There is an educational process that is hidden in the curriculum at school, in addition to the process that is raised in the form of teaching and learning activities. The hidden curriculum is an important factor in instilling the character of diversity, especially in countering radicalism. The purpose of this article is to reveal that the hidden curriculum in schools can improve learning outcomes, improve spirituality, and increase students' emotional intelligence. This article is written on the basis of library research, so that the data taken and analyzed is based on the results of thought. Hidden curriculum can improve learning outcomes, improve spirituality, and increase the emotional intelligence of students. Therefore, the hidden curriculum also provides benefits for teachers in providing examples of good behavior to students. The character of a teacher affects students both in the learning process and outside the classroom.

Abstract

Banking is a company that operates in the service sector, the function of banking is to collect and distribute funds from the public. Fund collection plays a very important role for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), because the funds collected will be distributed to the community in the form of financing and management of third party funds is an important aspect in managing bank liquidity, therefore the Bank has its own role. This research aims to find out how the Bank can utilize funding sources to increase its liquidity and to find out what strategies are implemented by the Bank. The method used is direct observation or interviews with the BSI KCP Probolinggo funding party. In analyzing the data, the author uses descriptive qualitative data analysis, which means the data is described systematically about the strategies carried out by PT. Indonesian Sharia Bank KCP Probolinggo. The research results reveal that the strategy used to increase and maintain TPF at Bank Syariah Indonesia is to seek large amounts of retail funds, offer competitive products, collaborate with business partners, cheap funds, not entrusted funds.

Abstract

This research explores the potential and challenges of using blockchain technology in Islamic financial transactions. Blockchain is known for its ability to increase transparency, security and efficiency in recording transactions, which is in accordance with sharia financial principles. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to examine relevant literature from various academic and practical sources. The research results show that blockchain technology has great potential to increase transparency, efficiency and sharia compliance in financial transactions. Blockchain also offers potential applications in the management of waqf and zakat, as well as in the development of peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and sharia crowdfunding platforms. However, the implementation of this technology faces several challenges, including sharia regulation and compliance, technology adoption and acceptance, and security and scalability issues. This research provides recommendations for overcoming these challenges, including collaboration between regulators, sharia scholars, and technology developers, as well as increasing education and training about blockchain among sharia finance practitioners. With effective adoption and in accordance with sharia principles, blockchain technology can support the development of more innovative and sustainable sharia finance.
