Abstract

Pendahuluan Amcotrel 10 PA atau 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid adalah salah satu jenis stimulan dari banyaknya merek yang digunakan untuk bahan perangsang produksi tanaman karet yang berupaya pemacu hasil produksi lateks, yaitu dengan cara memperlambat jangka waktu karet mengering di alur sadap. Metode Pengumpulan Data. Penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAK) yang terdiri dari 2 klon, dan 4 perlakuan yang terdiri dari 10 ulangan, dan terdapat 80 tanaman setiap klonnya. Hasil dan Diskusi. Interaksi terbaik terletak pada klon PB260 terjadi peningkatan volume lateks, sedangkan pada klon RRIC 100 terjadi peningkatan berat basah dan berat kering sebanyak 30% Simpulan. Konsentrasi stimulan dengan merk dagang Amcotrel berpengaruh nyata terhadap tanaman karet, dan konsentrasi stimulan yang terbaik adalah 2,5%. Klon tanaman karet (PB260 dan RRIC100) termasuk ke dalam klon quick starter, pada penelitian ini produktivitas tanaman karet barbeda nyata yang meliputi Volume lateks, berat basah dan KKK. Interaksi yang sangat nyata terdapat pada klon PB 260 terdapat pada volume lateks. Sedangkan pada klon RRIC 100 terdapat pada berat basah dan berat kering.

Abstract

Pendahuluan. Kakao merupakan salah satu komoditi penting yang dapat membantu perekonomian di Indonesia. Metode Pengumpulan Data. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September 2023 sampai bulan Januari 2024 di lahan Kebun Inovasi Politeknik Negeri Jember. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu media tanam yang terdiri dari 3 taraf meliputi M1 (top soil : pasir) perbandingan 1:1, M2 (top soil : pasir : arang sekam) perbandingan 1:1:1, M3 (top soil : pasir : arang sekam) perbandingan 1:1:2. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk organik cair air cucian beras yang meliputi B0 (sebagai kontrol), B1 (100 ml/polibag), B2 (200 ml/polibag), B3 (300 ml/polibag) Hasil dan Diskusi. Pemberian komposisi media tanam memberikan hasil berbeda sangat nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat basah akar, dan berat kering akar dengan perlakuan terbaik pada perlakuan M1 (top soil:pasir perbandingan 1:1). Simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dengan memberikan komposisi media tanam dan pupuk organik cair air cucian beras menunjukkan pengaruh interaksi tidak berbeda nyata.

Abstract

Produksi durian nasional mencapai 500–700 ribu ton per tahun, dengan Kabupaten Jember menyumbang sekitar 3.402 ton. Peningkatan produksi durian di Desa Klungkung Jember, menimbulkan permasalahan lingkungan akibat penumpukan limbah kulit durian yang sulit terurai. Limbah berpotensi mencemari udara, air, dan menghasilkan gas berbahaya seperti CH₄, NH₃, dan H₂S. Kegiatan bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian Kelompok Tani Hutan (KTH) Santoso. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, implementasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi berbasis partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan peserta, dari skor rata-rata pre-test 4 menjadi post-test 7. Uji aktivasi menunjukkan bahwa jeruk nipis menghasilkan arang aktif dengan kejernihan tertinggi dibandingkan KOH dan NaOH. Dampak kegiatan meliputi pengurangan limbah organik, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, serta penguatan kesadaran lingkungan. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi tepat guna berbasis potensi lokal yang mendukung ekonomi sirkular dan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

One type of coffee plant widely cultivated in Indonesia is robusta coffee. During cultivation, nursery practices are crucial for improving coffee quality and productivity. To obtain good Robusta coffee seedlings, fertilization is essential. The recommended fertilizer is organic, which is more environmentally friendly. Fertilizing with fermented golden apple snail extract supports sustainable agriculture. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the concentration, frequency of treatment, and interaction on the growth of hybrid robusta coffee seedlings prolegitim (BP 42 x BP 358). The study was conducted in the field laboratory of Politeknik Negeri Jember for 5 months. This study used a non-factorial RBD with 7 treatments and 6 replications. K0 (Control-0% concentration); K1 (2.5% concentration + application every 4 weeks); K2 (5% concentration + application every 4 weeks); K3 (2.5% concentration + application every 2 weeks); K4 (7.5% concentration + application every 4 weeks); K5 (5% concentration + application every 2 weeks); K6 (7.5% concentration + application every 2 weeks). The observed variables include: Number of Leaves (pairs), Leaf Area Index, Stem Height, and Root Length. The experimental data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by the LSD test at the 5% significance level. The study found that the K2 treatment (5% concentration applied every 2 weeks) produced the optimal growth response, particularly in leaf area, seedling height, and root length.

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the staple ingredients that is widely used in household and industrial needs. The high price of cooking oil has an impact on the food security of a family. Repeated use of cooking oil will also have an impact on family health. So it is necessary to socialize the healthy and quality cooking oil using virgin coconut oil. The purpose of this socialization was directed to the group of housewives in Pumo Village, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. The economic condition of this housewife is classified as lower middle class. The Pumo Village Housewives Group (partner) is located in a coastal area with extraordinary coconut potential. Utilization of coconut is only limited to being sold in the form of coconuts, either young (degan) or old (copra). Though the potential will be greater if the processing is carried out, especially in the form of pure coconut oil. The solution offered to this problem is the application of science and technology with simple technology, namely centrifugal force as an effort to become independent partners in producing virgin coconut oil. The virgin coconut oil produced is not only to support family food security, but also to be a business opportunity for partners. The results of this service, the community can know the techniques of making, packaging products and entrepreneurship in the field of making virgin coconut oil.

Abstract

Furthermore, by providing amino acids, robusta coffee cuttings can get nutrients to promote the growth of vegetative organs. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of various growing media types, amino acid combinations, and their interactions on the growth of robusta coffee (Coffea canephora L.) cuttings. Growing medium was the first component, and amino acids were the second in this factorial randomized group design (RCBD) investigation. In this study, a variety of media were employed as the growth medium. Subgrade soil, sand, and blotong fertilizer made up P1 media; subgrade soil, sand, and coffee husk compost made up P2 media; and subgrade soil, sand, and chicken manure fertilizer made up P3 media (2:1:1). 108 experimental units of the amino acids U0: 0%, U1: 5%, U2: 10%, and U3: 15% were employed in this investigation. The planting media treatment significantly affected the root volume, root wet weight, and root dry weight characteristics with the P2 treatment. The best materials were sand, coffee husk compost, and topsoil. The A1 (5%) treatment was the best; all other metrics were impacted by the amino acid treatment, with the exception of the cutting growth percentage.
