Abstract

Attempts for waste management needs participation from local peoples to managing it, especially from the housewifes, mainly because most of the waste comes from household waste. The Women's Association of Integrated Waste Management Legok Makmur (PPPST Legok Makmur) pioneering organic villages in Magelang City by inviting the housewifes to actively participate in processing waste into something useful. In this regards, this study aims to investigate the initial formation and activities, supporting factors and inhibitors and the positive and negative impacts of the existence of the Women's Association of Legok Makmur Integrated Waste Management. It also analyses the coordination with the regional government, and liberal feminism in the empowerment of the community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and document review. The data obtained is then analyzed by triangulating data sources.The results of this study shows that the process of forming the Legok Makmur Women's Association was stipulated by the amount of garbage in the polling station which makes the surrounding environment was dirty. This association has activities to process waste into compost, handicrafts, etc. with the sorting of organic and inorganic waste. The supporting factors are the presence of enthusiasm, peoples participation, and full commitment from the Government. While the inhibiting factors of people's awareness are low and the land area is still limited. The positive impact is that peoples become active, clean environment helps to get the Adipura Kencana Cup Award, and adds knowledge and no significant negative impact. The Legok Makmur Organic Village is cooperating with agencies such as the Environmental Agency of Magelang City and North Magelang District this Legok Makmur Organic Village is considered to make women autonomous as an economic function because they are aware of their role without forcing and make women become independent capable of being creative in waste management and can adds economic value.Key words : women empowerment, waste management, organic village

Abstract

Abstract. In this paper, we develop a novel method hybrid firefly algorithm-ant colony optimization for solving traveling salesman problem. The ACO has distributed computation to avoid premature convergence and the FA has a very great ability to search solutions with a fast speed to converge. To improve the result and convergence time, we used hybrid method. The hybrid approach involves local search by the FA and global search by the ACO. Local solution of FA is normalized and is used to initialize the pheromone for the global solution search using the ACO. The outcome are compared with FA and ACO itself. The experiment showed that the proposed method can find the solution much better without trapped into local optimum with shorter computation time.Keywords: Traveling Salesman Problem, Firefly Algorithm, Ant Colony Optimization, hybrid method.Abstrak. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan suatu metode baru yaitu hybrid firefly algorithm-ant colony optimization (hybrid FA-ACO) untuk menyelesaikan masalah traveling salesman problem (TSP). ACO memiliki komputasi terdistribusi sehingga dapat mencegah konvergensi dini dan FA memiliki kemampuan konvergensi yang cepat dalam pencarian solusi. Untuk memperbaiki solusi dan mempercepat waktu konvergensi, digunakan metode kombinasi. Pendekatan kombinasi ini meliputi pencarian solusi dengan FA dan pencarian global dengan ACO. Solusi lokal dari FA dinormalisasi dan digunakan untuk menginisialisasi feromon untuk pencarian global ACO. Hasil dari hybrid FA-ACO dibandingkan dengan FA dan ACO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diusulkan dapat menemukan solusi yang lebih baik tanpa terjebak lokal optimum dengan waktu komputasi lebih pendek.Kata kunci: Traveling Salesman Problem, Firefly Algorithm, Ant Colony Optimization, metode hybrid.

Abstract

Steam power plant is a plant that relies on the kinetic energy of steam toproduce electricity. Power plant is an alternative solution to solve the problem ofelectricity in Indonesia. Batang power plant is one national project that goes inMP3EI (Master Plan for the Acceleration of Indonesian Economic DevelopmentEquity). Social Movement UKPWR and Go Green rejected the plan to build theBatang’s steam power plant. This study aims to analyze the anatomy of the Batang’splant cons movement of both types of movement to movement activities.This study used qualitative methods to understand and interpret the meaningof an event interaction of human behavior in specific situations according to theperspective of researches. The collection data techniques that authors use in this studyare interviews and literature.The results showed that the power plant was built near Batang RegionalMarine protected areas using land between 370 to 700 acres and to cost up to 40trillion. Being rejected by local residents who are members of social movements intoUKPWR is an abbreviation of 5 villages affected Batang’s power plant. Residentsfear the impact caused by the power plant. NGOs working in the field of environmentis Go Green also rejected the power plant construction site which they are productivelands and areas that need to be conserved. Abstract

ABSTRACTIONOpportunities of the policy about the expansion which protected by UU No. 32 of 2004 article 4-8 and PP No. 78 of 2007 made a lot of local and regional elites take an advantage of these opportunities, as well as the southern of Brebes region. The expansion discourse that several years dim come back arise after the election 2012. Although, the pros and contras coloring of the expansion discourse in brebes regency, but the expansion cannot be happened without the actors role to achieve expansion. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this this research is "Who are the actors involved in the expansion plan of Brebes regency?", "What did the actors do in the expansion plan of Brebes regency ?" and "What is the purpose to be achieved from the expansion of Brebes?".This research aims to identify the actors and their activities in the expansion plan of Brebes regency and the goals of the expansion. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The primary data source was obtained through interview with snowball sampling technique, and secondary data from document, archive and other sources related to the research. Analysis techniques using analysis of qualitative data which is the analysis in the form of description, illustration and drawing conclusions on the problem analysed.From the results of this research, be discovered that the idea of expansion of Brebes regency is already discussed in 1963 by H.S.A Basori, a member DPR-GR of the Brebes District. Post-reform, demands of expansion continued by other South Brebes figures consisting of religious leaders / organizations, politicians, academics and NGO activists, Head of the Village and BPD. In the struggle, the actors make a structure dan give a socialization. While the path used is Informal and Formal. The purpose is effective and efficient services, accelerate development, manage and develope a potential in the south region, ease community control to governance, get a central funding and economic motives.The suggestion that can be given, among others; actor to continue to comply with Regulation 78 of 2007 in the process of expansion, don't leave the relevant institutions such as camat, and had to leave his ego so that the expansion process can be done well. While the recommendation for next researcher are able to see from the side of the internal conflict in the stewardship and how the readiness of the southern region community if the expantion is really happening.Keywords: Expansion, actor, role.

Abstract

The library is a learning infrastructure that must be available in every school. Libraries provide information and knowledge needed by students. The development of technology and information is expected to have an impact, namely the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of work. One way is to change the manual system into a computer-assisted system supported by internet technology. In this community service activity, a web-based library application has been designed and built at SMAN 1 Jombang. Application development uses the Waterfall model which consists of 4 stages, namely system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and maintenance. The library application is built using the Code Ignaiter framework with the Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) programming language while the database uses MySQL.The benefit of this application is to address the needs of students for book searches and book ordering, while for school library officers it manages the circulation of book borrowing and reporting. The result of community service that has been implemented is a Web-based library application at SMA Negeri 1 Jombang to improve the quality of library management.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5173

Abstract

Website sekolah merupakan gerbang utama untuk mengetahui berita penting, profil sekolah, guru-guru yang mengajar dan info-info terbaru. Website dapat juga digunakan untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Disini kami mengambil studi kasus pada MTS I’anatut Tholibi Lamongan yang belum mempunyai website sekolah. Pertama, kami melakukan kajian website yang cocok untuk dikembangkan pada sekolah tersebut. Kami mendapatkan kajian yang berupa: 1. Sekolah belum mempunyai website sama sekali, 2. Guru-guru dan tendik belum terbiasa menggunakan media website sebagai pendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar, 3. Konten yang akan diunggah di website sekolah harus diatur sedemikian sehingga dapat menunjang pembelajaran. Alamat domain sekolah telah dibuat dan dapat diakses melalui www.ianatuttholibin.sch.id. Kegiatan pelatihan juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru dalam mengembangkan kegiatan belajar mengajar melalui website. Konten-konten terkait pembelajaran dapat diakses oleh siswa melalui website sekolah. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah website sekolah, publikasi media massa, jurnal nasional dan juga video cipta.

Abstract

Standar Nasional Indonesia telah menetapkan mutu tempe layak konsumsi memiliki bau tempe, warna normal dan rasa normal. Fermentasi merupakan faktor krusial tempe dengan memanfaatkan mikroorganisme dalam mengubah suatu senyawa organik untuk mencapai mutu tempe yang sesuai standar. Prototipe ruang fermentasi merupakan sebuah ruangan tertutup yang digunakan sebagai tempat khusus fermentasi. Ruang fermentasi modern mempunyai faktor berhubungan dengan mutu tempe seperti suhu, kelembapan, waktu fermentasi, dan campuran tempe. Tempe matang memiliki kadar air maksimal yaitu 53%. Durasi waktu fermentasi disebutkan sebagai faktor krusial dalam mencapai kadar air yang ditentukan. Ketika waktu fermentasi tempe berlebih, kelembapan yang tidak sesuai maka tempe akan mengalami pembusukan dan degradasi protein. Dari hal tersebut, dirancang sistem kendali yang berperan dalam melakukan estimasi durasi waktu fermentasi tempe. Kontrol fuzzy Sugeno diterapkan metode kontrol dengan parameter kadar air, perbandingan kedelai/beras, dan kelembapan udara dalam ruang fermentasi. Hasil pengujian sistem dengan variasi kadar air, kelembapan udara, dan perbandingan kedelai/beras berdampak terhadap durasi waktu fermentasi. Semakin tinggi kadar air awal kedelai maka waktu fermentasi semakin cepat. Semakin tinggi kelembapan udara maka waktu fermentasi semakin lama. Semakin banyak konsentrasi kedelai maka semakin cepat durasi waktu fermentasi. Variasi parameter yang beragam memberikan hasil keluaran waktu fermentasi yang bervariatif berdasarkan kontroller fuzzy Sugeno.

Abstract

Abstract: The role of communication is very important in providing treatment to postpartum maternal mental health in the form of providing Educational Information Communication (EIC) and counseling. Providing the right information when providing EIC and counseling will have a positive impact on the mental health of postpartum mothers. The research used qualitative exploratory studies. Data was collected through in-depth, semi-structured, and face-to-face interviews. The data were analyzed using inductive content analysis. The sampling method is based on purposefully select of 6 health workers in December 2024. The results showed that informants consisted of 4 midwives, 1 Head of Public health center and 1 mental nurse interviewed. There are 4 (four) themes based on communication components, namely the source of communication, the message conveyed, the media used, the recipient of the message, and the reciprocal effects of the message that has been delivered. From these four themes, it was found that health workers, especially midwives, have not provided IEC material or counseling that is still not appropriate in accordance with the mental health conditions of postpartum mothers. The communication media used is also still limited. So there is a need for training for midwife health workers to be able to provide good communication according to the needs of mothers after childbirth.Abstrak: Peran komunikasi sangat penting dalam memberikan penanganan kepada kesehatan mental ibu pasca persalinan berupa pemberian Komunikasi Informasi Edukasi (KIE) dan konseling. Pemberian informasi yang tepat saat memberikan KIE dan konseling akan berdampak positif terhadap kesehatan mental ibu pasca persalinan. Penelitian menggunakan studi eksploratif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi terstruktur dan tatap muka. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis conten induktif. Metode pengambilan sampel berdasarkan purposefully select terhadap 6 orang tenaga kesehatan pada bulan desember 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa informan terdiri dari 4 orang bidan, 1 Kepala Puskesmas dan 1 orang perawat jiwa yang diwawancarai. Terdapat 4 (empat) tema berdasarkan komponen komunikasi yaitu sumber komunikasi, pesan yang disampaikan, media yang digunakan, penerima pesan, dan efek timbal balik dari pesan yang sudah disampaikan. Dari empat tema tersebut didapatkan bahwa tenaga kesehatan khususnya bidan belum memberikan materi KIE atau konseling yang masih kurang tepat sesuai dengan kondisi kesehatan mental ibu pasca persalinan. Media komunikasi yang digunakan juga masih terbatas. Sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan kepada tenaga kesehatan bidan untuk dapat memberikan komunikasi yang efektif sesuai kebutuhan ibu pasca persalinan.

Abstract

This research determined the participation of street food sellers in formulating and issuing the policy and determined the hindering factors of revitalization policy in the town square area of Tegal as the effort to improve the opened green zone. This descriptive qualitative research describes a variable in the form of spoken data from the informants and the observed behaviors of the informants. The researchers collected the data by interviewing the civil service police officers, the public work service and spatial planning, the cooperation of SME and trading, the housing and residential department, and the association of street food sellers; documenting; and studying the works of literature. The results found many regional government organizations participated in the formulation of revitalization policy. Then, they took the responsibility directly to the major of Tegal as the policy- maker of revitalizing the town square area of Tegal. The revitalization ran successfully. The government socialized the policy systematically and involved various actors including the street food sellers. However, from the eight socialization stage meetings for the street food sellers, only three socialization stages involved and coordinated with the street food sellers. The three meetings shared the divisions and relocation sites of the sellers, instruction, and empowerment. The revitalization of the green town square area also encountered some hindrances, such as limited socialization, lack of street seller confidence, and less representative relocated sites.

Abstract

The discipline of Ethnomusicology in Indonesia still has problems related to issues of representation, relevance and contribution to benefit. This paper will discuss how efforts are being made to realize the discipline of Indonesian Ethnomusicology and offer more relevant paths. The discussion is qualitatively based on a general review of the historical setting of the emergence of representation issues in the Ethnomusicology discipline, considering the urgency of the representation issue in the context of Ethnomusicology in Indonesia and trying to read the Indonesian context to be able to offer a more relevant style of discipline. Questioning representation is an important matter in the discipline of Ethnomusicology in Indonesia, but there is work that needs to be done more hastily. Designing scientific disciplines that can help answer socio-political and cultural issues, such as issues of tolerance, radicalism, conflicts between groups, issues of ecology, economy and culture itself will be more able to make ethnomusicology more beneficial.
