Abstract

Personal financial management is a systematic and structured approach to managing various aspects of personal finance. For students, personal financial management includes monitoring income and expenses related to basic needs, including education costs, transportation, food, and other basic needs. Using variables such as fintech payments, lifestyle, and the overall educational environment, this study will examine personal financial management at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember. Overall, 380 people were part of this quantitative study. To analyze the data, SPSS 28 was used along with multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that fintech payments, lifestyle and school environment each have a good and significant influence on the personal financial management of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Jember.

Abstract

Personal finance is an important aspect for students to achieve financial stability. This study aims to analyze the influence of gender, self-efficacy, financial knowledge, and pocket money on personal finance in college students in Jember. This study uses quantitative research methods and uses questionnaire survey techniques on 100 students from various universities. The data collection tool was a questionnaire and the analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that self-efficacy and financial knowledge have a significant influence on student financial management, while gender and pocket money do not have a significant influence on student financial management. This indicates that self-efficacy and financial understanding are more decisive than demographic factors and the amount of money received. This study suggests the need for applicable financial education to improve students' financial literacy and confidence in managing their finances. Other variables such as financial attitudes and social influence can be investigated in the future.

Abstract

Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk memahami penagruh pendapatan orang tua, pergaulan dengan teman sebaya, dan kemampuan kontrol diri terhadap ketertarikan siswa SMA Baitul Arqom Balung dalam menabung. Ketertarikan menabung sangat penting dalam perilaku finansial yang harus dikembangkan sejak masa sekolah, agar siswa dapat mengelola keuangan meraka secara bijaksana. Hasil dari penelitian awal menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang tidak memiliki rekening tabungan dan tidak aktif dalam kegiatan menabung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui distribusi kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh siswa aktif di SMA Baitul Arqom Balung, sebanyak 238 siswa, yang dijadikan sebagai sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan regresi liner berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh simultan dan parsial dari setiap variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada sekolah dan orang tua dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan kesadaran serta perilaku menabung di kalangan siswa. Temuan ini juga diharapkan menjadi pedoman dalam merancang program literasi keuangan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

In the state financial structure, taxes occupy a position as the main source of income that has a significant impact on development in Indonesia. This is supported by the fact that more than 70% of total state revenue comes from taxes. This study aims to determine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on the intention to pay PBB and taxpayer compliance in Banyuwangi Regency. The population in this study were all Taxpayers in Banyuwangi Regency totaling 822,220 people. The sampling technique used probability sampling, especially simple random sampling and by using the Slovin formula, a sample of 100 respondents was obtained. The data in this study were obtained through a survey method with a questionnaire media. The data analysis technique used partial least square. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of attitude on the intention to pay PBB, there is no positive and significant influence of subjective norms on the intention to pay PBB, there is a positive and significant influence of perceived behavioral control on the intention to pay PBB, attitude has a positive and significant influence on taxpayer compliance, subjective norms have a positive and insignificant influence on taxpayer compliance, perceived behavioral control has a positive and significant influence on taxpayer compliance, intention to pay PBB has a positive and significant influence on taxpayer compliance, intention to pay PBB mediates attitude towards taxpayer compliance, intention to pay PBB does not mediate subjective norms on taxpayer compliance and intention to pay PBB mediates perceived behavioral control on taxpayer compliance. This study is expected to be a recommendation for local governments in improving the achievement of PBB realization.
