Abstract

This research explores the relationship between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention among young female consumers in Indonesia's beauty industry, emphasizing the mediating role of customer attitudes. In this digital era, the findings reveal that celebrity endorsements positively impact purchase intentions. Specifically, the visibility, credibility, and attractiveness of celebrities, leading to increased purchase intentions. Moreover, customer attitudes serve as a crucial mediator between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a structured questionnaire distributed to sample of young female consumers respondents. This study contributes to the understanding of marketing strategies in the beauty industry, suggesting that brands should carefully select celebrity endorsers who resonate with their target audience to maximize effectiveness.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between attitude, repurchase intention, and brand loyalty towards local cosmetic brands in Indonesia. The cosmetic industry in Indonesia is rapidly evolving, with a growing number of local brands competing for consumer attention. Key factors influencing consumer behavior include brand image, trust, perceived value, and satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing surveys to gather data from consumers who have previously purchased local cosmetic products. The findings indicate that positive consumer attitudes significantly enhance repurchase intentions, which in turn foster brand loyalty. Moreover, brand trust and perceived value are critical determinants of repurchase intention, while brand image has a less pronounced effect. These insights provide a conceptual framework for understanding consumer behavior in the local cosmetic market and highlight the importance of fostering positive brand relationships to enhance loyalty and repeat purchases.

Abstract

BUMDES pada dasarnya merupakan sebuah entitas bisnis yang dibentuk untuk mengoptimalkan potensi desa dan memberdayakan masyarakat desa. BUMDES merupakan model bisnis yang sangat ideal. Dalam prakteknya BUMDES masih memiliki beberapa kelemahan antara lain komunikasi antara BUMDES dengan pelaku usaha masyarakat desa, tata laksana sistem yang masih sangat baru, pelaksanaan sistem yang masih manual, belum ada komitmen bersama pengelola BUMDES, belum ada kesepemahaman dengan masyarakat desa terhadap program BUMDES, kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kinerja BUMDES yang rendah, rendahnya inovasi pengelola, tata kelola yang masih kurang, permasalahan rantai pasokan, dan rekognisi oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini secara umum adalah untuk membangun sinergitas kemitraan sebagai perwujudan visi dan misi Universitas Telkom. Secara khusus, tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengembangangkan sistem akuntansi dan keuangan, perancangan tata kelola usaha dan proses bisnis, penyusunan rencana bisnis, penyusunan rancangan pemasaran, dan rantai pasokan, dan digitalisasi yang dapat digunakan oleh BUMDES Karya Mukti yang berada di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Output kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan antara lain berupa pelatihan/bimbingan teknis (bimtek), pembuatan prototipe sistem/proses, dokumen standar operasi, dan pembentukan/penguatan jejaring bisnis skala nasional dan regional Asia.

Abstract

A trading company in Bandung experienced a 491% sales increase, prompting research into the factors behind this phenomenon. This study examined the influence of relationship marketing and customer engagement on purchase decisions, mediated by brand trust. The research used a quantitative, causal-descriptive approach with simple random sampling. From a population of product coordinators conducting direct sales and demonstrations, 320 respondents were selected using the Slovin formula. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS 02. Results showed that relationship marketing positively and significantly influenced brand trust (t-statistic 9.845; p-value 0.000) and purchase decisions (t-statistic 32.167; p-value 0.000). Customer engagement also significantly impacted brand trust (t-statistic 10.106; p-value 0.000) and purchase decisions (t-statistic 2.103; p-value 0.036). However, brand trust did not significantly mediate the effects of relationship marketing and customer engagement on purchase decisions. The study concluded that relationship marketing had the strongest direct impact on purchase decisions. Companies are encouraged to prioritize relationship marketing and customer engagement strategies while strengthening brand trust to maximize long-term consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The global market's increasing dynamism and competitiveness push businesses to expand beyond national borders, aiming to enhance domestic and international competitiveness. This study investigates the influence of competitive strategy on export performance through competitive advantage, moderated by firm age, within the Indonesian Export Channel (IEC) Community of MSMEs. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, data were analyzed using the SMART PLS statistical method. The findings reveal that competitive strategy significantly enhances competitive advantage, which in turn positively impacts export performance. However, the direct effect of competitive strategy on export performance was found to be negative and insignificant, suggesting that competitive strategy alone is insufficient to drive export success. Firm age significantly moderates the relationship between competitive advantage and export performance, highlighting the importance of considering firm-specific characteristics in strategic planning. This research underscores the need for MSMEs to adopt innovative approaches tailored to market demands, aligning competitive strategies with their competitive advantages to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable growth in export markets.

Abstract

The high rate of youth unemployment and the limited integration of entrepreneurship education in secondary schools present a serious challenge in preparing young generations to become independent and adaptable to future economic dynamics. This community engagement program aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and equip students of SMA Unggulan Darul Hikam with fundamental skills in designing business models using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. The method applied was experiential learning through participatory workshops, which included theoretical sessions, BMC simulations, group presentations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of entrepreneurship concepts and the key elements of the BMC framework. All student groups successfully completed their business model designs and presented relevant and contextually appropriate business ideas. In addition to cognitive gains, the training also enhanced participants’ collaboration, communication, and self-confidence. Feedback from students indicated a high level of enthusiasm and expressed hope for continued support through mentoring and the replication of similar workshops in other schools. The program concludes that BMC is an effective method for entrepreneurship education among adolescents and holds great potential to be integrated into school curricula or character development programs focused on entrepreneurship at the secondary level

Abstract

In the telecommunications sector, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction is essential for sustainable businessgrowth. This research focuses on investigating how service quality and product quality influence customer satisfactionwithin IndiHome, a prominent telecommunications provider managed by PT Telkomsel in Cirebon City, Indonesia.The study aims to evaluate how customers perceive IndiHome's service and product quality, measure their overallsatisfaction, and explore the impact of service and product quality on customer happiness. A survey involving 384respondents aged 34 to 39, predominantly entrepreneurs, was conducted to gather data on their perceptions. Thesurvey, designed to assess service quality, product quality, and satisfaction levels, employed a quantitative approachwith descriptive analysis. Sampling was non-probabilistic and purposive, and data was collected via questionnairedistribution. The findings reveal that both service and product quality significantly influence customer satisfaction,suggesting that addressing these aspects can enhance competitiveness and customer retention in thetelecommunications market. This study offers valuable insights for telecom firms seeking to improve service deliveryand achieve sustained business success by meeting customer expectations effectively. Abstract

The decline in demand for raw materials was a result of the growth of the manufacturing industry in April. Thishas an impact on PT Patra Trading's sales performance. To address this, PT Patra Trading believes that propertraining can improve operational efficiency and ensure that employees can perform optimally in challengingsituations. This study aims to learn more about the influence of training and motivation variables on performanceat PT Patra Trading because organizations can succeed one of them because of properly managed humanresources, which include, training, motivation, and cooperation. This study will involve all employees of PT PatraTrading, so the population of this study is all employees of PT Patra Trading. The tang method used is quantitativeand the type of research is explanatory causality because it explains the influence of training (X1) and motivation(X2) on employee performance (Y). In collecting data, primary data types and secondary data are used. showingthat training, motivation and employee performance obtained using descriptive statistics are categorized as goodand show the significance of the influence between training and motivation has a significant influence partiallyand simultaneously on employee performance at PT Patra Trading.Keywords-training, motivation and employee performance.

Abstract

Keputusan pembelian adalah tahap krusial yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai. Penelitian ini fokus pada pengaruh kualitasproduk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian iPhone oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis UniversitasTelkom Angkatan 2021, di mana terdapat tren meningkatnya penggunaan iPhone di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelianproduk iPhone di Jurusan Administrasi Bisnis Universitas Telkom Angkatan 2021.Penelitian ini menggunakan metodekuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling, Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami faktor-faktoryang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian iPhone di kalangan mahasiswa, serta memberikan saran praktis bagipengguna dan arah untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah menambahkan variabellain seperti promosi, brand loyalty, dan fitur teknologi, serta memperluas populasi dan sampel penelitian. Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi saat ini, sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor krusial dalam kesuksesan perusahaan. Peranmanusia dalam organisasi memiliki nilai yang sangat penting, sehingga manajemen sumber daya manusia tetapmenjadi fokus utama dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Sumber daya manusia memiliki peran yang istimewadibandingkan dengan sumber daya lainnya, sehingga perusahaan harus terus berusaha untuk mempertahankan sumberdaya manusia yang berkualitas. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah studi mengenai masalah sosial yang berdasarkan padapemeriksaan teori yang terdiri dari variabel-variabel yang diukur secara numerik. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudiandianalisis menggunakan metode statistik untuk mengevaluasi validitas umum dari teori tersebut. Penelitian inimengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif yang terstruktur, dimulai dari identifikasi masalah, penerapan teori, hinggapembuatan kesimpulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyebaran kuesioner kepada seluruhkaryawan di Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Tabanan, Provinsi Bali.
