Abstract

Intense competition in digital banking services demands the optimization of User Experience (UX); however, the UX quality across mobile banking applications has not yet been comprehensively mapped. This study conducts a comparative analysis of mobile banking applications in Indonesia through a preliminary observation using a purposive sampling technique. The evaluation was carried out using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to measure six UX dimensions, with reliability testing confirming that the instrument was reliable. The results show all applications achieved positive scores across the six UEQ dimensions. BRImo (BRI) ranked highest overall, particularly in the efficiency (2.225) and dependability (2.188) dimensions, BNI Mobile Banking excelled in the novelty dimension, with the highest score (2.088). In addition, BNI Mobile Banking recorded higher efficiency (2.113) and dependability (1.913) scores compared to Livin’ by Mandiri and BCA Mobile. Meanwhile, BCA Mobile outperformed Livin’ by Mandiri in the perspicuity (1.988) and stimulation (1.925) dimensions, whereas Livin’ by Mandiri only surpassed BNI Mobile Banking and BCA Mobile in the attractiveness dimension (1.900). However, the results of the Kruskal–Wallis test indicate that the differences in scores among the applications were not statistically significant. Based on the global UEQ benchmark, all four applications demonstrate very good UX quality, predominantly in the excellent category. BRImo is the only application that achieved the excellent category across all dimensions, while Livin’ by Mandiri obtained two dimensions in the good category, followed by BNI Mobile Banking and BCA Mobile, each with one dimension in the good category.

Abstract

This Advancements in computational technology have driven the development of Deep Learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), in the classification and recognition of digital images. This research focuses on the classification of MRI brain tumor images using the VGG-16 architecture. The primary challenges include gradient vanishing and overfitting due to a small dataset. The objective of the study is to evaluate the performance of the model with various data augmentation techniques and to assess the impact of different dataset compositions (90:10 and 70:30) for training and testing. Two model configurations are used: Model A with 4096 neurons and Model B with 128 and 64 neurons in the first two Dense layers, respectively. The tested augmentation techniques include rotation, flip, Zoom , and their combinations. The results indicate that rotation and Zoom augmentations provide the best performance for both models and dataset compositions. Model A (90:10) achieved an accuracy of 96% with rotation and 92% with Zoom, while Model B (90:10) achieved 94% with rotation and 98% with Zoom. For the 70:30 composition, Model A achieved 94% (rotation) and 90% (Zoom ), while Model B achieved 95% (rotation) and 96% (Zoom ). This research provides valuable insights into optimizing VGG-16 architecture for brain tumor classification using limited datasets.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Praja Mobile application among two age groups, namely adults and elderly users, as an effort to assess the level of digital inclusion. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) instrument, which measures six main aspects: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The study involved 40 respondents, consisting of 20 adult users and 20 elderly users. Based on the analysis results, the elderly group achieved scores of 2.00 for attractiveness, 1.88 for efficiency, 1.76 for dependability, 1.75 for stimulation, 1.82 for perspicuity, and 0.78 for novelty. Meanwhile, the adult group obtained scores of 2.30 for attractiveness, 2.30 for efficiency, 2.05 for dependability, 2.07 for stimulation, 2.03 for perspicuity, and 0.72 for novelty. The most notable difference was observed in the perspicuity aspect. This finding indicates that elderly users still experience difficulties in understanding the application’s navigation and usage flow compared to adult users. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of designing interfaces that are more elderly-friendly, particularly in improving information clarity, navigation structure, and ease of interaction. Therefore, the findings of this study contribute practical recommendations for application developers to support greater digital inclusion, enabling applications to be more accessible across different age groups.
