Abstract

Understanding of mathematical concepts is very important for students, especially in material lines and angles. In the subject of lines and angles, many students have not mastered the concept well, so many students experience difficulties. The purpose of this study is to produce an e-module based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) on line and angle material that is valid, practical, and effective. This study employed the ADDIE model development research procedure which consisting 5 stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product of this research is an e-module based on PMRI on line and angle material. The results showed that the developed e-module achieved the criteria of being valid, practical and effective The results of the development show that the e-module is included in the valid criteria with an average score percentage of 89%, practical with an average score percentage of 97.25% and effective with an average score percentage of 76.31%. The developed e-module is effective in teaching the concept of lines and angles for class VII. Keywords: mathematics, e-module, development, RME.

Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi belajar dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika, menjadi salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi di kelas VII. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya variasi dalam metode atau model mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan media Kahoot pada materi operasi aljabar di kelas VII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan one-shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes uraian sebanyak 4 item, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik dan kemampuan guru, serta angket respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar secara klasikal tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 78,94%; (2) aktivitas peserta didik berada dalam kategori sangat aktif dengan persentase 85,52%; (3) respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran tergolong positif (100% pernyataan mendapat tanggapana positif); dan (4) kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata observasi 3,52.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan dasar kepada Masyarakat tentang pendidikan lingkungan hidup berupa pemanfaatan limbah anorganik. Pemanfaatan limbah anorganik adalah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan oleh masyarakat untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap kelestarian lingkungan sehingga pencemaran lingkungan dapat dikurangi. Pengetahuan dasar yang diberikan kepada ibu PKK dalam kegiatan ini yaitu tentang: (1) Pengertian dan jenis sampah, (2) pengelolaan sampah anorganik menjadi barang yang bernilai tinggi, (3) pengelolaan sampah organik menjadi pupuk tanaman Kegiatan ini bertempat di Desa Bendungan Kecamatan Kudu, Jombangdengan melibatkan ibu PKK yang berjumlah ±30 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalahmetode ceramah, praktik, dan tanya jawab. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa ibu PKK mampu menerapkan teori yang diberikan dan mempraktikkannya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari tugas-tugas yang diberikan kepada ibu PKK yaitu membuat produk hasil pengolahan limbah anorganik berupa botol plastik menjadi barang yang bernilai tinggi. Untuk kedepannya, harapan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar para peserta bisa mempraktikkan di masyarakat dan mengajak warga lain untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dengan tidak membuang sampah di sungai, serta mampu mengurangi limbah anorganik agar tidak mengakibatkan kerusakan lingkungan.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide basic knowledge about learning mathematics how to use media and several learning models, one of which is RME, as well as knowledge about the 2013 curriculum. math. To increase the basic knowledge of mathematics learning, the trainees were given basic knowledge and skills on: 1) Mathematics Learning Problems at SD/MI Level, 2) Elementary Mathematics Textbooks according to the 2013 Curriculum, 3) RME, 4) Fun Mathematics Learning Methods. The service was held at SDI Makarimul Akhlak Building with ±30 participants on Saturday, May 14-19 2016. The methods used were lecture, practice, question and answer, discussion and practice methods. Based on the results of the evaluation, it turned out that in general there was an increase in the knowledge of the training participants for the empowerment of SD/MI teachers in improving mathematics learning, this was evidenced by the tasks given to the participants. In the future, the hope of this activity is that participants can practice in class during math lessons and can transfer the knowledge that has been obtained to other SD/MI teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the development of statistical questions presented by utilizing Microsoft Power Point applications based on Visual Basic for Applications. The development model in this study uses the ADDIE model which stands for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research trial used several subjects including two validators, namely material experts and media experts, as well as mathematics education students who took statistics courses. Data collection techniques were carried out through test and questionnaire methods. While the data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. This development research resulted in a product in the form of statistical test questions in the form of multiple choice questions consisting of five questions and packaged in a macro VBA-based Microsoft Power Point application. The results showed that the questions developed met the valid, reliable, and sensitive categories. In addition, the products developed have also met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective for use.

Abstract

The application of mathematics is often found in everyday life. So in learning mathematics, there needs to be an approach that links concepts with the real world, one of which is the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The RME approach can be used as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The results of mathematics education are still low because learning is only centered on teachers. The purpose of this study was to produce students' Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) on the material of spatial figures, especially the surface area of ​​cones. The method used in this study was design research, but it was only limited to the preliminary design and teaching experiment stages. The subjects of the study involved grade IX students. Data were collected through tests, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used triangulation. The results showed that the HLT of the cone material included identifying “pasung” cakes, finding the elements of cones, and determining the formula for the surface area of ​​cones.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Math Bilbul gamification learning media based on Construct 2 on integer number material in VII grade. The development model used is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The instruments used are validation sheets, 8 descriptive questions and user response questionnaires. Data are analyzed descriptively quantitatively according to the research stage. The results of qualitative validation by material experts reached a score percentage of 94.7% and media of 92% with very valid criteria. The results of student and teacher responses at the small and large class trial stages showed that the media developed was very practical and effective to use based on the results of classical learning completion of 90%. This Math-bilbul can be used as an alternative interactive game-based learning media.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika merupakan salah satu capaian belajar dalam memahami konsep, menerapkan keterampilan, dan menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi bangun datar pada kelas VII. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan True Experimental Design bentuk Post-test Only Control Design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 29 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 21 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes sebanyak dua butir soal uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenits dan uji t-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan analisis yang disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi bangun datar kelas VII.

Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh siswa ialah kemampuan pemecahan masalah (problem solving). Dikarenakan pemecahan masalah yang berarti kegiatan yang penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Oleh sebab itu, keterampilan yang harus dikuasai pada abad 21 yaitu problem solving. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tahapan Polya dalam menyelesaikan soal materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel. kaitannya dengan tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pemilihan subjek yang dianalisis dan wawancara menggunakan teknik purposive sumpling. Subjek penelitian ini diambil 6 subjek berdasarkan nilai PTS (Penilaian Tengah Semester) dari 29 siswa kelas VIII-C di MTs Midanutta’lim. Kemudian Subjek terbagi atas siswa berkemampuan kategori rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi merupakan teknik pengumpulan data dalam tinjauan ini. Kemudian untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan serta verifikasi. Hasil analisis data dipaparkan bahwa siswa berkemampuan tinggi mencapai tahapan memahami persoalan, membuat rencana, mengimplementasikan rencana penyelesaian, tetapi tidak dapat meninjau kembali. Siswa berkemampuan sedang memiliki kemampuan memahami masalah sedangkan tahap lainnya seperti membuat rencana, mengimplementasikan rancangan penyelesaian, dan meninjau kembali siswa tidak melaksanakannya. Sedangkan siswa berkemampuan rendah belum memunculkan tahap-tahap pemecahan masalah Polya.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to manage and organize the steps needed to achieve their goals. Students' confidence in the subject being studied is very important in solving problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on mathematical problem solving abilities in class VIII statistics material. The method used in this research is a survey. The research subjects were students of class VIII which consisted of 38 students. Test and questionnaire methods were used for data collection techniques. Data analysis technique with the help of SPSS 25 software with normality test, linearity test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study stated that self-efficacy had no effect on the ability to solve mathematical problems in statistical material for class VIII A SMP Islam Mbah Bolong with regression equations .
