Abstract

The growing demand for electricity in the Province of Bali is still largely dominated by the use of fossil fuels and coal. This reliance on conventional energy sources contributes to carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and greenhouse gases, which in the long term have a negative impact on the environment. To reduce this dependency, the utilization of renewable energy sources such as Solar Power Plants (PLTS) offers an effective and environmentally friendly solution. The Lecture Building at Udayana University was selected as the study object due to its relatively high electricity consumption. The PLTS system design for this building was based on the available roof area, utilizing all four roof sides. Each side is equipped with 32 solar modules rated at 670 Wp per unit, one inverter with a capacity of 25 kW, and 16 battery units each with a capacity of 200 Ah. The system design was simulated using PVSyst software, and with a total installed capacity of 85.76 kWp, the system is capable of generating approximately 515.8 kWh of electricity per day.

Abstract

Ciwidey in South Bandung is one of the leading tourist areas that requires good transportation accessibility. This study explores the integration of special shuttle services for tourists with the West Java Trans Metro Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in the area. The research approach includes literature review, policy analysis, transportation planning documents, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and comparative case studies with other cities/tourist areas. The results of the study revealed several main obstacles: weak institutional synergy between related agencies, inconsistencies in regulations governing tourism and public modes, and the issue of less integrated tariffs. For example, the Semarang study shows that most BRT stops do not have adequate intermodal integration facilities and Kebumen's analysis found that 89.55% of tourists are willing to choose the tour shuttle mode if cost and comfort are guaranteed Good practices from other cities, such as the integration strategy of public services in Yogyakarta can be used as a reference. This study concludes that strengthening institutional coordination, regulatory adjustments, and integrated tariff design are needed to facilitate modal integration.

Abstract

The work of cutting lightweight bricks manually with the help of cutting tools still leaves problems. Unnatural working postures are a form of problems faced by workers. This causes musculoskeletal complaints that have an impact on comfort at work. To overcome this, a redesign of the lightweight brick-cutting tool was carried out using worker anthropometric data. The redesign was carried out on the pedal switch and work chair because this caused complaints from workers. The results of the redesign reduced the musculoskeletal complaints of workers who did lightweight brick-cutting work by an average of 49.36%. This figure was obtained from measurements after working on the old and new tools. The decrease occurred from an average of 62.8 when using the old tool to 31.8 after the intervention. The study results can be used as a guideline for workers doing manual work to create a comfortable and sustainable working atmosphere.
