Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of Kahoot media on the learning outcomes of ethnic and cultural diversity materials. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of quasi experiment research whose population is all grade IV students, which is divided into two groups, namely class IV A with 14 students as the experimental group and class IV B with 13 students as the control group. The data collection technique used is a test in the form of multiple-choice questions. Validity and reliability tests are carried out to test the instrument. Furthermore, a normality test was carried out with the results of the variable =2,26, the variable while , while the results of the postes homogeneity test  this was stated that both variables were declared to be normally distributed and homogeneous. To find out whether or not there is an influence of Kahoot media in learning, the results of which showed that the learning outcomes of the Ethnic and Cultural Diversity material of grade IV A students who were taught using Kahoot learning media were better than without using Kahoot media in learning on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity material.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SDN Pakis V Surabaya dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital imaging. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan bermakna. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap, meliputi pengenalan digital imaging, pembuatan media pembelajaran, pendampingan proyek, serta pendokumentasian hasil karya dalam bentuk flipbook digital. Subjek kegiatan adalah guru SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan kompetensi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan nilai rata-rata guru dari 65,7 pada pretest menjadi 85,1 pada posttest. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis, guru juga memperoleh pengalaman dalam mendokumentasikan media pembelajaran secara digital. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran serta mendukung pencapaian SDG 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas. Improving the Competence of Teachers at Pakis V Public Elementary School in Surabaya in Creating Digital Imaging Technology-Based Learning Media This community service program aimed to improve the competence of teachers at Pakis V Public Elementary School, Surabaya, in developing learning media based on digital imaging technology. The program was motivated by the demands of 21st-century learning, which emphasize the integration of digital technology to create interactive and meaningful learning experiences. The implementation employed training, workshops, and mentoring conducted in several stages, including the introduction to digital imaging, development of learning media, project-based assistance, and documentation of products in the form of digital flipbooks. The participants were teachers of SDN Pakis V Surabaya. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pretest and posttest assessments. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ competencies, with the average score increasing from 65.7 to 85.1. In addition to enhancing technical skills, teachers gained experience in digitally documenting learning media. This program positively impacted instructional quality and contributed to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education.

Abstract

Learning IPAS in elementary schools still faces challenges related to students’ difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, particularly in the topic of the human respiratory system. This condition is influenced by the limited use of interactive and technology-based learning media. This study aimed to develop a WayGroundbased instructional video and to determine its validity, feasibility, and effectiveness in IPAS learning for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were fifth-grade students of SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests using pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the WayGround-based instructional video achieved a high level of validity based on material and media expert assessments. The results of small-group, medium-group, and large-group trials indicated that students’ responses were categorized as very good. Furthermore, the effectiveness test revealed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the developed media. Therefore, the WayGroundbased instructional video is considered valid, feasible, and effective for use in IPAS learning on the human respiratory system topic in elementary schools.

Abstract

Indonesian language is one of the subjects at the elementary level. School Basic. Indonesian language subjects consist of skills listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. speak can be taught to students in various teaching methods. One of them is using teaching materials so that students can learn in a fun way. The development of teaching materials for Indonesian language subjects based on Fables in grade 4 aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of learning media to build student character and increase students' interest in understanding fable stories. The model of this study is to use the ADDIE model which through the use of puppets with animal characters based on fables, students can more easily understand the theme, morals, and characters in the story. The results of the application of this media show an increase in students' active participation, understanding of the story, and their ability to retell fable stories and character building of students. This type of research is research and development in the form of developing learning media in the form of puppet media with animal characters based on fables that are effective for the learning process. The level of media feasibility is set at 90% based on expert test analysis, the suitability of teaching materials is set at 88.33%, and 91.48% based on the survey student Which agree to use media puppet with figure animal based on fable for the learning process teach.

Abstract

Learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) material on human respiratory organs in elementary school requires students to understand abstract concepts that are difficult to observe directly. The use of CapCut-based video media is expected to facilitate student understanding through interactive visualization and audio. The media was developed using the ADDIE model. The results of validation by media experts and subject matter experts were 91.25% and 85%, respectively, which is considered valid. Small, medium, and large group trials obtained acceptable scores of 80%, 89.5%, and 91.9%. Analysis of learning outcomes showed an increase in the average score from 88 (pre-test) to 97.2 (post-test). This media is effective and feasible to use to improve students' understanding interactively and contextually.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Zepeto and Wink-based video learning media on measurement and volume for fourth-grade students at SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. The background of this study is based on students' low understanding of abstract measurement and volume concepts and the limitations of conventional learning media. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects consisted of fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires validated by media and subject matter experts, as well as pretest and posttest to measure the effectiveness of the learning media. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively.
