Abstract

The result researcher aims to evaluate the impact of gold price fluctuations on the dynamics of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) in Indonesia, as well as to examine the role of the exchange of rupiah rate towards the United States dollar is employed as a moderating variable. The background of this research is related to the fluctuating dynamics of global financial markets and the tendency of investors to switch to assets that are considered safer such as gold, especially in times of economic uncertainty and exchange rate volatility. In this study, a moderated regression analysis is employed approach, using daily secondary data for a three-month period (November 2024 - January 2025), which includes gold prices, rupiah exchange rates, and JCI data. The analysis's findings show that the Index of Composite Stock Prices is substantially impacted by the price of gold. Furthermore, the JCI is not much impacted by this exchange rate, and the exchange rate erodes the correlation between the JCI and the gold price's moderating variable. These findings give scholars, investors, and policymakers crucial information for understanding how commodities, currency rates, and stock markets interact as well as for creating investment plans and economic policies that can adapt to shifting global circumstances

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of product boycott sentiment on the returns and risks of six stocks in the consumer sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The six stocks are UNVR, FAST, MAPI, MAPA, MAPB, and PZZA. The results show that PZZA experienced the highest decline in returns of -362.84%, followed by FAST at -303.91%, UNVR at -221.65%, MAPB at -180.84%, and MAPA at -72.09%. The only stock that experienced an increase in returns was MAPI at 88.09%. Based on the risk proxied by variance, FAST experienced a fairly high variance rotation from 0.00031 to 0.00175. UNVR, MAPA, and MAPB showed a decrease in variance, indicating a calmer market despite their negative performance returns. PZZA was the only company with stable risk but significantly negative returns. MAPI was the only stock with positive returns and increasing variance. Based on the mean difference test, PZZA's p-value of 0.02695 (<0.05) indicates a positive and significant effect of the boycott on PZZA's declining returns. Other issuers, UNVR, FAST, MAPI, MAPA, and MAPB, were not statistically significant, having p-values >0.05

Abstract

This study develops a comprehensive five-dimensional Regional Resilience Index (Indeks Ketahanan Wilayah/IKW) for Bogor Regency, Indonesia, integrating governance capacity and social capital dimensions alongside traditional human development, food security, and disaster risk indicators. Stakeholder-derived weights through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (n=25 experts) yielded the following priority ranking: Human Development (0.28), Disaster Risk (0.24), Food Security (0.22), Governance Capacity (0.15), and Social Capital (0.11), with consistency ratio CR=0.073. Spatial analysis across 40 subdistricts revealed significant heterogeneity (CV=18.7%), with k-means clustering identifying three distinct resilience typologies: High (8 subdistricts, IKW>65), Moderate (24 subdistricts, IKW 51-65), and Low (8 subdistricts, IKW<51). Comprehensive validation achieved: Cronbach's alpha 0.78, MAPE 1.12%, cross-validation RMSE 2.87, Monte Carlo 90% confidence interval of +/-3.2 points, and significant outcome correlation with post-flood recovery times (r=-0.67, p<0.01). Baseline IKW 2025: 58.42 (Moderate). Multi-scenario projections to 2030: baseline 63.15, optimistic 68.24 (High category transition), pessimistic 55.78. The framework provides actionable guidance for evidence-based regional development planning.

Abstract

This study develops and implements the Green Economy Index (GEI) as an instrument for measuring green economy transition in Bogor Regency. Using a composite index methodology adopted from OECD and UNDP best practices, the GEI integrates 15 indicators across three pillars: economic (6 indicators), social (4 indicators), and environmental (5 indicators). Data were collected from official government publications (BPS, KLHK) for the period 2020-2024. The index was constructed using min-max normalization and geometric mean aggregation. Model validation through backtesting showed a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 5.10%, classified as "Highly Accurate." Results indicate that Bogor Regency's GEI reached 50.16 in 2024 ("Moderate" category), with the Social Pillar performing best (62.49), followed by Environmental (50.46) and Economic (40.03). Scenario projections suggest the GEI could reach 61.76 by 2030 under moderate assumptions (CAGR 3.53%). This study provides an evidence-based framework for green economy policy formulation at the regional level.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of gold prices and the rupiah exchange rate on Indonesia's Jakarta Composite Index (JCI). The study applies multiple linear regression analysis, using a t-test to assess the individual impact of each independent variable and an F-test to evaluate their combined effect on the dependent variable. Based on the t-test results, gold price has a significant negative relationship with the JCI, as shown by a significance level of 0.000 and a t-value of -6.912, indicating that higher gold prices tend to suppress the JCI. Conversely, the rupiah exchange rate does not show a significant partial impact on the JCI, with a significance value of 0.277 and a t-value of 1.099. However, the F-test reveals that gold prices and the exchange rate together significantly affect the JCI, with a significance level of 0.000 and an F-value of 87.957, exceeding the critical F-value of 3.16. Thus, it can be inferred that while only gold prices have a notable individual impact, both variables collectively influence the fluctuations in the JCI.
