Abstract

Trash is a byproduct of human activity that poses serious challenges in its management. Suboptimal handling can lead to trash spread, create uncomfortable environmental conditions, and produce hazardous gases such as methane, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide. To address this, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based trash bin optimization system is needed. This system includes monitoring trash height, gases produced by the trash, and trash weight using sensors installed on the trash bin, such as the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, MQ-4 sensor, MQ-135 sensor, TGS2602 sensor, and load cell sensor. Additionally, the system is equipped with an automatic lid system using the MG995 servo motor and Solenoid Lock Door to lock the trash bin when it is full. Specific limits have been set for each trash parameter, and if they exceed these limits, the automatic system will lock the trash bin and send notifications through the Blynk application on a smartphone. Component testing in this research has shown satisfactory results, with high levels of accuracy. Overall, the designed system successfully optimizes the use of trash bins by providing immediate notifications to sanitation workers when the trash bin is full, preventing scattered trash piles, and maintaining the safety and comfort of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The tactic, that generally people to make tube lamp (fluorescent) brightly shines on area that has poor voltage regulation at peak load time, is applied of bigger ballast transformer than its rating. Unfortunately, the side effect results life of lamp to be shorter marked by falling of its brightness. At this time, fluorescent lamp applying as lighting is turned on day-and-night 24/7. It happens on home that light of sun can not enter its rooms. Turning on fluorescent lamp using switching method gives more benefit that is : it can be brighten under low voltage until 120 V, further more the life of fluorescent lamp is longer than ballast method when it turn on continuously. Fluorescent lamp rating 10 watt that is using 10 watt ballast transformer made in Guang Zhow only shines 5 days when it work day-and-night, on the other hand 10 watt fluorescent lamp from Phillips has durability as its long-life but its brightness decreases signed by increasing resistant of LDR from 2200 ohm to 2600 ohm after turned on along 60 days. Fluorescent lamp 20 watt made in Matsui and ballast transformer 20 watt made in Sinar have superiority as well as switching method that is the value of LDR resistant not change at 2000 ohm, although it had worked along 60 days without turned off.

Abstract

Kualitas tembakau sangat penting dalam industri tembakau untuk menghasilkan produk dengan cita rasa, aroma, dan karakteristik yang diinginkan. Pengeringan yang tidak tepat dapat merusak kualitas tembakau, sehingga diperlukan metode pengeringan yang konsisten dan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji alat pengering tembakau berbasis oven dengan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pengeringan tembakau kasturi. Oven dirancang menggunakan kerangka seng dengan tubular heater berdaya 1000watt dan tegangan 220 volt. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tiga durasi pengeringan pada suhu 50°C: 40, 50, dan 60 menit. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pengeringan selama 60 menit memberikan hasil terbaik dengan penurunan kadar air sebesar 83,94%, menyisakan kadar air 16,06%, yang hampir mendekati standar Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) yaitu 15%. Pengeringan selama 50 menit menunjukkan penurunan kadar air sebesar 79,68%, sementara pengeringan selama 40 menit menghasilkan penurunan sebesar 52,64%. Penurunan kadar air menjadi kurang efektif seiring dengan bertambahnya durasi pengeringan. Implementasi teknologi IoT memungkinkan pemantauan dan pengendalian proses pengeringan secara real-time, meningkatkan efisiensi dan konsistensi hasil pengeringan, serta mengurangi kebutuhan sumber daya manusia dan energi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan potensi alat pengering berbasis IoT untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi pengeringan tembakau.

Abstract

Sistem monitoring banyak diterapkan dalam berbagai bidang, salah satunya dalam budidaya ikan. Kualitas air merupakan parameter yang sangat penting untuk kelangsungan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan ikan nila. Kualitas air dapat menurun dengan cepat karena terjadinya pengendapan sisa makanan, kotoran ikan dan buangan metabolisme pada ikan yang menyebabkan konsentrasi fosfat meningkat sehingga air kolam menjadi keruh. Selain itu perubahan pH yang besar dalam waktu singkat menimbulkan gangguan fisiologis bagi ikan. Suhu air juga dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kematian ikan. Kualitas air kolam memiliki peranan penting dalam pemeliharaan ikan, sehingga diperlukan sistem yang dapat memonitoring kualitas air pada budidaya ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring kualitas air pada kolam ikan. Perancangan sistem yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini meliputi penggunaan Arduino Uno sebagai mikrokontroler yang terhubung dengan sensor pH 4502C sebagai pengukur pH, sensor turbidity sebagai pengukur kekeruhan, sensor suhu DS18B20 sebagai pengukur suhu air pada kolam ikan, relay sebagai pengendali pompa dan solenoid valve, serta LCD 16x2 sebagai pemantau. Pembacaan sistem berupa data yang dikirim ke LCD dan ditampilkan dalam grafik secara real time. Sistem disimulasikan pada miniatur kolam ikan yang dibuat dengan bak plastic ukuran 40x35x60 atau ukuran 84 liter.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia provides the widest opportunities for students to develop themselves. With the Independent Learning Curriculum, students are encouraged to be more creative and innovative. One of the flagship programs of the independent learning curriculum is the Teaching Campus. The teaching campus program is part of the independent campus program, which has made an important contribution to the progress of education in Indonesia. Students from the teaching campus will be placed in various assignment schools, with the main target of this program being elementary schools (SD) and junior high schools located in the region. 4T (Frontier, Outermost, Disadvantaged, and Transmigration Zones), as well as schools with accreditation below A. The aim of this service is to improve the literacy skills of students at SD Negeri Tangkisan, Bayan sub-district, Purworejo Regency. The partner involved is SD Negeri Tangkisan. This service is carried out in three stages: preparation by attending debriefing and observing placement schools; and implementation of the Teaching Campus program. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In data collection techniques, the author uses documentation techniques for each activity carried out and then reviews them in several bibliographies. The results of the service show that there are changes and good impacts for students, teachers, and schools, such as increasing the quality of students' reading skills, facilitating reading rooms, providing assistance to the School Literacy Movement, and assisting in adapting technology and administration in the school library. The school feels helped by these activities. Students also feel happy, enthusiastic, and motivated to come to the library, visit the reading corner during breaks, and are active in the school literacy movement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pengaturan arah putar motor BLDC menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino, yang diharapkan mampu memberikan kendali presisi terhadap motor BLDC baik dalam aplikasi pergerakan normal maupun dalam situasi pengereman darurat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi beberapa tahap: persiapan alat dan komponen, pembelajaran cara kerja dan fungsi masing-masing komponen, perancangan sistem mekanik dan pembuatan program untuk alat, serta pengujian alat yang melibatkan sepeda listrik sebagai objek uji. Pengumpulan dan pengolahan data dilakukan setelah pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengereman plugging yang dirancang menggunakan Arduino Uno dan driver motor H-Bridge mampu mengurangi kecepatan sepeda listrik secara efektif, dengan jarak pengereman bervariasi antara 80 cm hingga 135 cm tergantung pada kecepatan awal sepeda listrik. Misalnya, pada kecepatan 10 km/jam diperlukan jarak 80 cm untuk berhenti total, sementara pada kecepatan 50 km/jam diperlukan jarak 135 cm. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan teknologi motor BLDC dan aplikasi pengereman elektrik, menawarkan solusi berkelanjutan dan aman untuk mobilitas dan otomasi di berbagai sektor industri. Sistem yang dirancang juga menunjukkan potensi untuk mengurangi konsumsi energi dan memperpanjang umur sistem motor BLDC

Abstract

Objective This study is to investigate the relationship between green accounting, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, independent commissioners and audit committees on firm value of mining companies in Southeast Asia region including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.Design/Methodology The method used is OLS with 500 samples of mining company observation data in the Southeast Asia for the 2016-2020 periods. GMM estimation is to address the potential endogeneity of the multiple variables used in the estimation, unobserved heterogeneity, and autocorrelation, which cannot be resolved with a fixed effect.Results This study found that institutional ownership has positive significant effect on the firm value. Independent commissioners and audit committees have negative significant relationship with firm value of mining companies in the Southeast Asia, while green accounting and managerial ownership have no effect on the firm value.Research Limitations/Implications There is no availability of data to access companys annual reports from several countries and the annual reports of several countries are not made in English, educational background and social relations are not considered in measuring the independent board of commissioners and the audit committee. The results of this study can be used by company management in providing information about the percentage required for institutional ownership as a consideration in making decisions to increase company value.Novelty/Originality The researcher's knowledge, this is the first research to investigate green accounting on firm value in mining company in the Southeast Asia region which is included in emerging markets.

Abstract

The Community Health Center is a work unit of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD), which has the obligation to prepare financial reports based on Government Accounting Standards (SAP). The aim of this research is to detect the potential for material misstatements of cash disbursement at the Kemiri Community Health Center. The population in this study is cash disbursement transactions during February 2024, and there were 39 samples of official receipts. The data used in this research were the results of observations, interviews, questionnaires and sampling. The data analysis technique uses the cash disbursement audit technique namely sampling evidence of cash disbursement, checking sample completeness, examining the ledger, and drawing conclusions regarding the results of the compliance test. The results of substantive testing show that 64% of the cash disbursement receipt samples have met the criteria set by the author. The level of effectiveness of internal control is 95.2% indicating that internal control is very effective, but there are still weaknesses, namely that several supporting documents for cash disbursements are not complete, the goods/services purchase receipt does not have the "Paid" stamp, and there are several health workers whose job is to manage reports BLUD finances. Abstract

Kista koledokus merupakan dilatasi kistik dari saluran empedu, baik intra maupun ekstrahepatik, yang dapat menyebabkan obstruksi biliaris dan sirosis biliaris progresif. Kondisi ini sering dikaitkan dengan trias klasik berupa nyeri perut kanan atas, massa intraabdomen, dan ikterus obstruktif. Modalitas pencitraan seperti MRCP dan ERCP dianggap sebagai standar emas untuk mendiagnosis kista koledokus dan anomali terkait. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami tantangan diagnostik kista koledokus melalui analisis kasus seorang pasien dewasa muda dengan gejala klinis dan pencitraan yang tidak khas. Seorang laki- laki, 19 tahun, datang dengan nyeri perut kanan atas, mual, muntah, urine berwarna seperti teh, tinja berwarna dempul, dan gatal-gatal. Pemeriksaan laboratorium menunjukkan obstruksi saluran empedu. Pemeriksaan USG abdomen mencurigai adanya kista koledokus, namun MRCP menyimpulkan batu pada duktus biliaris komunis dengan dilatasi duktus hepatikus kanan kiri, duktus hepatikus komunis, duktus sistikus, dan duktus biliaris komunis. Pasien direncanakan prosedur ERCP untuk evakuasi batu namun evakuasi gagal dilakukan diduga akibat obstruksi pada duktus koledokus dengan kemungkinan kista koledokus. Pasien kemudian menjalani operasi. Diagnosis tegak dengan ditemukan kista koledokus tipe 1C. Pasien mengalami perbaikan klinis dan laboratorium setelah operasi. Kista koledokus pada orang dewasa lebih sering muncul dengan gejala mirip batu empedu seperti nyeri perut kanan atas dan tanda-tanda obstruksi bilier, dibandingkan massa intraabdomen. Kegagalan interpretasi MRCP pada kasus ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kista koledokus, dan perlunya kehati-hatian dalam evaluasi diagnostik dan penggunaan modalitas pencitraan

Abstract

Cooperatives are business entities that aim to improve the welfare of their members. KPRI "NASIB" is one of the cooperatives in Purworejo district whose members are civil servants, especially teachers and education staff. KPRI "NASIB" has problems reporting periodic financial reports due to the large number of managers who do not understand financial reports and there are no periodic structured financial reports. Edutraining, or education and training, is an effort to improve the ability of cooperative management so that financial reports are no longer an obstacle. Edutraining was held for two days from November 15–16, 2022 with 30 participants from various schools in the Need district. After its implementation, most of the administrators have understood the concept of financial reports, wherein they are expected to be able to prepare periodic financial reports according to existing standards
