Abstract

Developing of teaching materials that innovative, interesting, effective and it’s developed by advances technology into an obligation in order to be able to facilitate a good teaching. Therefore the educaters have the obligation to develop the teaching materials by herself or his self and must give a good teaching and effectively. The purpose of this research is to produce the product as LKPD effectively for Indonesian History subject to the elevent grade by using ASSURE model that is validated. This research subject is 32 social students of elevent grade in SMAN 5 Jember. This research is done in January 2018. It result shows that the product of validation teaching materials can measure the effectiveness level. In classic the validation result of the subject contain is amount 80 percents, the desaint validation is amount 88,4 percents, the media validation is amount 86 percents and the language validation is amount 94 percents. The effectiveness level of trial result in small group is amount 71,12 percents, while in large group is amount 86,75 percents. The conclution of this research is developing product in digital student worksheet use ASSURE model that validates by the experts and it can develop the Indonesian history teaching effectiveness. Abstract

Muhammadiyah is an organization that makes their movement on socio-religious reform. Muhammadiyah is supported by society as a non-political organization that concerns about charity and education. Muhammadiyah always conducts reform in every aspects especially in education. The problem in this research is how was the education system in Indonesia right before Muhammadiyah was founded, how were the effort and action that Muhammadiyah did at that time on the reform of education and it’s effects. The purpose of this research is to describe about the role of Muhammadiyah in the reform of the education in 1912-1923. The research method used in this research is historical research method with educational sociology approach and open system organizational theory. The benefit of this research is to be expected to add the knowledge and information about Muhammadiyah and as a source of learning about that organization. The other benefit is this research can be used as a source for the other similar researches on the future. The first conclusion of this research is education system in Indonesia right before Muhammadiyah was founded, educational secularism, and Islamic educational traditionalism. The second conclusion is the attempt and action that Muhammadiyah did at that time on the reform of education was the implementation of principal of education, the combination of western and traditional education in the education that was conducted Muhammadiyah. The last conclusion is the effect of reform in education conducted by Muhammadiyah on the society namely integralistics and contextual teaching and learning model and arose of the modern figures like KH. Abstract

The Lazarus Batik Industry House is a hereditary business and is a Madurese batik business whose motives are always changing. The problems in this research are: (1) What is the background for the establishment of the Lazarus batik industrial house ?; (2) What are the dynamics (capital, labor, production, marketing) of the Lazarus batik industrial house in 2012-2018 ?. The method used in this research is the historical method with stages; heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study include the background of the Lazarus batik production house, including: (1) Economic aspects; (2) The desire to preserve Indonesian cultural batik; (3) There is a hobby of interest and interest in batik; (4) Creating employment opportunities for the surrounding community; (5) Meet market needs. The process of Lazarus' business activities can be seen from several aspects through the initial capital used, the batik production section, raw materials and marketing activities. Marketing in early 2012 was still very little, because there were still many mistakes in production so that the cloth was still not suitable for sale, and the public's low interest in batik. From 2013 to 2018, the development of batik sales has increased. Since 2013 Lazarus has received orders from outside the region, the Lazarus batik market has slowly begun to expand. Not only individuals, many agencies also order this Lazarus batik, the market is no longer national but has expanded overseas. Keywords: Lazarus Batik, Industry, Dynamics.

Abstract

Studi kerajinan wayang sudah ada sejak lama di Desa Dukuh Dempok, Kecamatan Wuluhan, Kabupaten Jember. Industri rumahan kerajinan wayang kulit merupakan usaha mikro menengah di Kabupaten Jember. Ada tiga industri rumahan dari tahun 1995 hingga 2018 di desa Dukuh Dempok, yaitu industri rumahan yang didirikan oleh Eko, industri rumahan Robby, dan industri rumahan Happy. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian historis di mana langkah-langkahnya adalah heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori modernisasi yang ditulis oleh J.W Schoorl dan pendekatan yang diambil adalah analisis konsep sosial ekonomi yang merupakan implikasi sosiologi untuk kegiatan kompleks mengenai produksi, distribusi, perdagangan, pola konsumsi barang dan jasa.

Abstract

Abstract Megalithic culture in Jember Regency has existed for thousands of years which has been proven by ancient objects on Mount Watangan and the discovery of other archaeological objects at the Sumberpakem Site, Mayang District with different naming and the only finding of the Kangkang stone in Jember Regency. . The problems studied in this research are; How many archaeological remains of megalithic culture at the Sumberpakem Site, Mayang District, Jember Regency? How is it spread? What are the types and functions of the archaeological remains of the megalithic culture? What is the conception of belief that underlies the creation of archaeological remains of megalithic culture at the Sumberpakem Site, Mayang District, Jember Regency? What is the picture of the social and economic life of the community making archaeological remains of megalithic culture at the Sumberpakem Site, Mayang District, Jember Regency?. The research methods used are: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. As for the results of this study, the total number of archaeological remains of megalithic culture that was successfully inventoried by researchers at the Sumberpakem Site, Mayang District, Jember Regency, was 7 pieces of which the type of megalith was 2 stone mortars, 1 pictorial monolith, 1 dolmen grave, 3 stone mortars, the conception of belief held by the supporting community is the religious conception of Ancestor Worship that ancestral spirits always protect living relatives. the supporting community has recognized the pattern of permanent housing as a place to live. The existence of graves shows social stratification and differentiation. The affluent economic situation is evidenced by the ability to bury its citizens using dolmen graves and they have an egalitarian pattern. The agricultural subsistence pattern is characterized by the presence of stone mortars, stone mortars and scratched stone monoliths Key words: megalitic, culture, site

Abstract

This article examines the Green Revolution as one of the development programs in Indonesia during the New Order government. The scope of this article is that Wuluhan sub- district with high productivity in Jember Regency. The study is discusses 1) How was the New Order's political and economic policies that underlie the Green Revolution in Indonesia?; 2) How was the implementation of the Green Revolution in Wuluhan District, Jember Regency in 1969 - 1998?; 3) What is the impact of the implementation of the Green Revolution program on changes in production methods and productivity of agricultural products and the welfare of farmers in Wuluhan District, Jember Regency 1969-1998?. The method used in this research is the historical research method. using document sources, interviews, and supporting secondary sources. The result of this research is the New Order government's policy is based on the Trilogy of economic development. The form of the Green Revolution Policy in Indonesia is Bimas. The application of Panca Usaha as a program from Bimas can be accepted by wuluhan farmers even though there are several obstacles to the KUD, PPL institutions, and the use of agricultural materials such as pesticides. Production and productivity of rice plants has increased. The welfare of farmers can be improved, followed by improvements in the economy and other aspects of society in general

Abstract

This article examines the life of Ex-Tapol in South Blitar and the survival efforts amid the new order government's discriminatory regulations against Ex-Tapol. The Study is discusses (1) what are the supervisions carried out by local governments that affect the social life – Economy of Ex-Tapol, (2) how the dynamics of the social - economic life of Ex Tapol in South Blitar 1968 - 2000. The method used in this study is a historical research method. The method used in this study is a historical research method. Use document sources, interviews, and supporting secondary sources. The results of this study are: Local government supervision of Ex-Tapol including the mandatory reporting policy, disenfranchisement of civil rights and political rights, and provision of a special code (ET) on the ID cards of ex-tapols. Many former Tapol in South Blitar worked as a farmer. The existence of a regulation that Ex-Tapol and his descendants are prohibited from having certain jobs and are prohibited from being civil servants makes Ex-Tapol in South Blitar have no other choice, but to become a farmer. The income as a farmer is uncertain, making some ex-Tapol in South Blitar increase their income by raising livestock such as cows, goats, and chickens. The interaction of Ex-Tapol with the surrounding community is partly closed because of the stigma that the Ex Tapol PKI which is an enemy of the state made some people in South Blitar choose to stay away from Ex Tapol and are reluctant to have a relationship with Ex Tapol. Abstract

Megalithic culture is a global phenomenon in the history of human culture. The remains of megalithic culture are almost scattered in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is in Lumajang Regency. Lumajang Regency, almost all of its sub- districts have artifacts or findings in the form of artifacts and texts from prehistoric times to the present. Prehistoric relics are found in Lumajang, one of which is in Kandangan Village. The purpose of this study was to inventory the archaeological remains in Kandangan Village. The method used in this research is the historical method. The results of this study are an inventory of the number, distribution, typology, and the belief system adopted, namely the belief in ancestors, with the social, cultural, and economic life of the megalithic culture supporting community at Kandangan Site which has a conception of being interrelated with one another. Abstract

The existence of the Jawi Wetan Christian Church (GKJW) began with a number of people who claimed to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior and the first holy baptism on December 12, 1843 in Surabaya, East Java. Since that time their number increased and a fellowship of believers was formed, namely a fellowship of brothers in faith which then united themselves into one ecclesiastical fellowship on December 11, 1931. The formulation of the problem in this research were: 1) How was the development of the GKJW Madura Ethnic Congregation inSumberpakem village in 1945-2022 ?; 2) How was the religious life of the GKJW Madura Ethnic Congregation in Sumberpakem Village in 1945-2022? The results of the study show that the formation of the Madurese Christian Congregation originated from overseas or migration of Madurese living on Madura Island to East Java. The factor that drives them to migrate is the economic factor. At that time the condition of the land in the areas of Madura Island was barren so that their fields could not be planted so that they had difficulty meeting their daily needs. The organization of worship is a congregational assembly led by the local Pastor, another Pastor during service exchanges, or congregational assemblies taking turns according to the schedule. Worship at Greja Kristen Jawi Wetan Sumberpakem uses Madurese or Indonesian according to the schedule made by the relevant commission, namely the Theological Commission.
