Abstract

Inundation of flood and rob (flood due to high tides) in Semarang City is increase wtithin area and depth. It be more seroius condition because of land subsisdence that happened in coastal area of Semarang City. This research is foccused on prediction and mapping of inundation flood and rob due to land subsidence effect in East Semarang, especially Tenggang Watershed and Sringin Watershed. On this research, data analysis including analysis of land subsidence, analysis of hydrological data, analysis of flood discharge with HEC-HMS, hydraulics analysis with HEC-RAS and then mapping the results of the flood inundation with Arc GIS. The inundation will be create with overlay the DEM of flood water level and DEM of topographic. According to the results of analysis is known that minimum land subsidence is 0 cm/year that happened in south area of Semarang and more higher ini north area with maximum land subsidence is 5.58 cm/year. On periode   2014-2031, the contribute of land subsidence to increase the inundation of flood and rob is 1.39%/year.

Abstract

The increasing need for drinking water and undistributed raw water source needs solution with SPAM, Central Java Region. One of it is SPAM Bregas Region which the service locations are in Brebes Districts, Tegal City, and Tegal District. In the process of the transmission network development, there come some risks that hamper so that it needs for further research. This research aims to identify risks, analyze the amount of risk probability and give policy recommendations. The responden of study are government agencies as providers the transmission pipelines development projects of Bregas Regional SPAM, also the supervision consultants and contractors as a service providers. The method used is to spread the questionnaire to each stakeholder for structuring the risk of using RBS (Risk Breakdown Structure) and multiplying the value of the impact and frequency to obtain the value of the level of risk for each risk factor. The results showed the risks that happened in transmission network development in Bregas Regional SPAM are different from each stakeholder. Risks from perception of the supervising consultant 21.95% is accepted, 18.29% mitigated, and 59.76% avoided. Risk from owner perseption 32.93% is accepted, 23.17% mitigated, and 43.90% avoided. Rizks from contractor perseption 23.17% is accepted, 29.27 mitigated, and 47.56% avoided. Overall stakeholder’s biggest risk is land acquisition.

Abstract

Sanitation infrastructure is one of the basic needs of society and has a strategic role in improving the health and welfare of the community. The Indonesian government has built centralized domestic waste water infrastructure in 13 cities until 2014. According to USAID (2006) and AusAID (2013), idle capacity and cost recovery in the centralized domestic waste water system is still a major problem. Therefore, it needs to be done assessment management criteria of centralized domestic waste water management. This research is done by three-stage, that is construction models of a relationship of interdependence between management criteria; assessment of model suitability that has been constructed using SEM method; and calculate the weight of each management criteria using ANP method. The management criteria used on this study consist of: performance management, technical, institutional, regulatory, financing, and public participation. The weight of each criteria using models that have been assessment for their suitability, are: performance management (75.37%), financing (8.83%), public participation (8.39%), technical (3.56%), regulatory (2.36%) and institutional (1:49%). The global weight of sub criteria with most critical weight and should be a priority concern are sustainability (48.20%), public acceptance (14.90% 0, reliability (9.30%), willingness to pay (5.20%), and cost recovery (4.62%).

Abstract

Abstract Offset industries produced waste water contained lead contaminant and had pollution potential for environment. One of method to remove waste water contained lead was used bottom ash as adsorbent. This research was to know the ability of  bottom ash to reduce lead in artificial waste water with concentration of lead was 20.64 mg/l in the batch and continuous processes. For the batch processes, bottom ash was used as independent variable of 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 weight gram and highest removal efficiency up to 72.09-90.84%. While in continuous process experimental used column with diameter of 2 inch, discharge of 760 ml/minute, and influent concentration of 15 mg/l, 20mg/1, and 25 mg/l. Highest efficiency of removing lead was 73%-92.93%. With velocity constanst was 0.416-0.490 ml/mg. Second while operational capacity was 0.069-0.081 mg/g. Abstract

Two generally method / tools which used in project construction management system in Indonesia and the name are CPM (critical part method) or network planning and Bar Chart. The system used general method called conventional management system. Nowadays, was appeared one of a new system which seldom to applied in Indonesia, it is called LPS (last planner system). This research, researcher doing analyzed the differences between LPS and conventional management system. The result which obtained in this research are LPS dominated to accentuates team collaborative in the scheduling planning, resource allocation, control and enhance of work productivity, issue solved, regularly scheduling planning. Conventional management system more rely on the way CPM and Bar Chart working in that system with project manager decision. Planning of the schedule in this system doing by scheduling team. rescheduling in this system is not routine, it’s depend by construction progress. CPM and Bar Chart methods is influence on LPS. The both of methods was appeared in master scheduling, look a head scheduling, weekly work planning, shielding production, workable back log, percent plan completed and reliable promise process

Abstract

Organic waste is a type of waste produced by many sector, which need to managed appropriately. During its development, composting is one of the organic waste management efforts that is often be applied, Another alternative organic waste management in the form of Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) has emerged. Several researchers conducted studies on MFC performance which was influenced by many factors, especially the electrode which contributes to the electron transfer process. This study has a concern about energy optimization through CSMFC technology using different electrode’s material. Electrode materials from Graphene and Graphit has good electro-conductivity and has a large surface area, making it suitable for bacteria to adhere. The sampled reactors are consists of two types of electrodes  in the form of graphite and graphene. Each materials has anode and cathode ratio of 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1. The samples measured into three kinds, which called a mature compost measurement, electrochemical measurement, and biochemical measurement. Some collected sampling data were then processed and analyzed statistically using SPSS software. The processed and analyzed data included the calculation of power density, total N, C/N ratio, and moisture content. Any data like voltage (V) and electric current (I) are needed to obtain a power density. The highest average voltage, current, power and power density are produced by the N3 reactor (graphene 3:1) that is 269 x 10-3 V, 163 x 10-6 A, 56 x 10-6 Watt and 1.914 x 10-3 W / m2. There is no significant effect of variations in the type of electrode (graphite and graphene) on CSMFC performances.

Abstract

This research intend to analyze effect of concentrated amylase enzyme and cellulose enzyme, production rate and quality of biogas produced from rice husk waste. The rice husk was given chemical pretreatment by soaking it into NaOH 6 % for 24 hours. Then washed using water so that the pH became normal then dried under the sun before put it inside the reactor with the other enzyme, rumen and urea. The reactor that used has volume of 200ml and has total of 18 reactor with each variable has 2 reactor. Variance of concentrated enzyme that used are 9%, 12%, 15% and 18%. Biogas measurement done every 2 days for 60 days. Result from this research show that addition mixture of amylase enzyme and cellulose enzyme increase yield of biogas that produced. Because yield that produce from reactor with addition of 9%, 12%, 15%, 18% enzyme consecutively are 604 ml, 935 ml, 1041,5 ml and 2922,5 ml. whereas the reactor that not given enzyme only has biogas yield of 115 ml. the highest production rate occur on reactor that were given 18% of enzyme mixture with the production constant rate of 5,39 ml/(grTS day), maximum biogas production amount of 68,53 ml/grTS and the minimum time for biogas to formed is 0,92 days
