Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dalam membaca grafik pada materi gerak lurus setelah diremediasi dengan Physics Education Technology (PhET). Bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X yang dipilih dengan cara Sampling Purposive. Alat Pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik berjumlah 9 soal dengan 3 alternatif pilihan ganda disertai alasan terbuka. Skor validitas dan reliabilitas yaitu 4 (= tinggi) dan 0,52 (= sedang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 52,22% dengan signifikansi penurunan berdasarkan uji McNemar yaitu (10,675) > (3,84) sehingga dapat dikatakan terjadi penurunan yang signifikan antara jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi sebelum dan sesudah diremediasi. PhET efektif dalam meremediasi dengan nilai sebesar 0,673 (= sedang). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh guru untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, PhET, Grafik, Gerak Lurus Abstract: The aim of this research is to acquire the number of student’s misconception about reading graph on straight motion after remediation with Physics Education Technology (PhET). The design of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-postest. The subject consists of 30 students at X grade that chosen by the sampling purposive method. The Instrument consists 9 of diagnostic test with 3 multiple choice and open reasoning. The scores of validity and reliability of the test is 4 (high) and 0.52 (medium). The result shows the number of student’s misconception is 52.22% with significance of decrease by McNemar test is (10,675) > (3,84) so that it can be conclude the decrease the number of student’s misconception before and after remediation is significant. The effectiveness of remediation using PhET is 0.673 (medium). This research is expected to be an alternative for teachers to remediation about student’s misconception. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencobakan penggunaan strategi heuristik Polya berbantuan LKS dalam meremediasi siswa kelas VIII yang mengalami kesalahan menyelesaikan soal pada materi cermin. Bentuk penelitian berupa Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII C yang mengikuti seluruh kegiatan remediasi (28 orang). Hasil pre-test dan post-test dibandingkan untuk melihat profil langkah heuristik Polya dalam menyelesaikan soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan dalam penggunaan langkah heurisitik Polya sehingga mampu menurunkan jumlah kesalahan siswa. Penurunan kesalahan siswa dihitung menggunakan uji Wilcoxon yang menunjukan penurunan kesalahan yang signifikan (Zhiung = -4,58 dengan  = 5%; dk = 1; Ztabel = 1,645). Sedangkan efektifitas penggunaan strategi heuristik Polya dihitung dengan proporsi dengan tingkat efektifitas sedang (0,35). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dikembangkan lagi untuk meningkatkan efektifitas remediasi. Kata kunci : Remediasi kesalahan siswa, heuristik Polya, LKS, cermin Abstract: This study aims to try out the application of Polya?s heuristic strategy aided with students? worksheet to remediate eighth grade students who experienced the error in solving problems on the material about mirror. The form of this research is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants are all students of class VIII C who get involved in all remediation activities (28 students). The results of pre-test and post-test are compared to see the profile of Polya?s heuristic steps in solving the problem. The results show that there is an increase in the use of Polya?s heurisitic steps thus decreasing the number of students' mistakes. The decline in students' mistakes is calculated by using the Wilcoxon test which shows a significant reduction in errors (Zhiung = -4.58 with ? = 5%; dk = 1; Ztabel = 1.645). While the effectiveness of the use of Polya?s heuristic strategies is calculated by proportion with the level of effectiveness is moderate (0.35). Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perkembangan kemampuan koneksi  dan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP dalam materi penjumlahan, pengurangan dan perkalian ekspresi aljabar setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan matematika realistik. Tempat penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Jawai. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B yang dipilih secara acak setelah mendapat pertimbangan dan masukan dari guru yang mengajar matematika di kelas VII. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Rerata kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Matematika Realistik sebesar 75,51% (kategori sedang). (2) Rerata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Matematika Realistik sebesar 88,31% (kategori tinggi).   Kata Kunci : Koneksi Matematis, Komunikasi Matematis, Matematika Realistik Abstract : This research aimed to describe the development of connection capabilities and mathematical communication of junior high school students in The operations of addition, subtraction and multiplication of algebraic expressions after following a learning with realistic mathematics approach. The place of this research is in SMP Negeri 1 Jawai. The subjects of this research were students of class VII B randomly selected after being considered and recommended by teachers who teach mathematics in class VII. It can be concluded that: (1) The average capabilities of students' mathematical connection after a given learning with realistic mathematics approach are in the amount of 75.51% (medium category). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan keterampilan matematika dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika terhadap miskonsepsi siswa pada materi impuls momentum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif korelasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang dibuat berupa 5 soal esai mencakup tumbukan lenting sempurna dan tumbukan tidak lenting sama sekali. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan matematika dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika dengan besar koefisien korelasi 0,9041 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa apabila keterampilan matematika tinggi maka kemampuan menyelesaikan soalnya tinggi pula. Beberapa siswa yang memiliki keterampilan matematika tinggi tetapi kemampuan menyelesaikan soalnya rendah. Hal ini disebabkan siswa mengalami miskonsepsi berupa kesalahan fisis dan matematis, dengan besar kesalahan fisis dan matematis masing-masing sebesar 75% dan 65%. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Matematika, Miskonsepsi, Impuls Momentum Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between mathematics skill with the ability to solve physics problems to students misconception about impuls and momentum. Method of the research is descriptive correlation. The sample are 25 students. The instrument used 5 essay about elastic collision and inelastic collision. The data showed that mathematics skill and ability to solve physics problem have a significant relationship with a correlation coefficient 0,9041 that included in the high category. It shows someone that have high mathematics skills, the ability to solve problem be high too. There are some students that have high mathematics skill but the ability to solve problem is low. This is because the student have misconception there are physical and mathematical errors with each of these errors by 75% and 65%. Keywords: Mathematics Skill, Misconception, Impuls Momentum

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementation Reciprocal Teaching Model by Physics Simulation Media on reduced misconception of students about Force in SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method of this research is pre-experimental by one-group pre-test post-test design. As the sample of this research, there are 27 students in X Teknik Permesinan class which are chosen by random sampling in technic of intact group. The tool for collecting data is 10 questions the form of multiple choice with the reasoning open. The mean percentage of declining misconception of students about Force after remediation class is 63%. Based on McNemar test, the change student conceptions obtained then there is a significant change in the students conceptions after remediation class. The Hatie?s effect size value is 3,24 and the Cohen?s effect size value is 6,63 which are categorized as high., then Reciprocal Teaching Model effective in the assited Physics Simulation Media in reducing students misconceptions. Keywords: Force, Misconception, Physicsc simulation, Reciprocal teaching model

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan prototipe model desain pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning melalui multimedia yang relevan untuk memperoleh kecakapan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru matematika kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam, Pebelajar kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam dan Kepala Sekolah SMA Negeri 2 Sekayam. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Desain model Contextual Teaching and Learning melalui multimedia dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk kecakapan pemecahan masalah merupakan desain yang membuat pebelajar dapat lebih mandiri dalam melaksanakan tugas-tigas belajar.(2). Meningkatkan keaktifan pebelajar dalam pembelajaran matematika, sehingga akan berdampak pada ingatan pebelajar tentang apa yang dipelajari akan lebih  lama  bertahan. (3) Meningkatkan inisiatif pebelajar untuk bertanya pada guru.   Kata Kunci :Pengembangan, Model Contextual Teaching and Learning.   Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe a prototype model of instructional design Contextual Teaching and Learning through relevant multimedia to acquire problem-solving skills. This research is the development of research (Research and Development) with qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects were mathematics teacher in class XI SMA 2 Sekayam, learners class XI SMA 2 Sekayam and Head of State High School 2 Sekayam. The results of this study are: (1) Design model of Contextual Teaching and Learning with multimedia in teaching mathematics to problem-solving skills is a design that makes the learners can be more independent in performing these three tasks of learning. (2). Enhance the activity of learners in mathematics, so that will have an impact on learner retention of what is learned will last longer. (3) Increasing learner initiative to ask the teacher. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the implementation of media physics learning using livewire against the learning outcomes of students of class X SMA 6 Pontianak about the power dynamic. A form of research in the form of a quasi-experimental design with design nonequivalent control group design. Determination of sample using a purposive sampling technique so that the obtained class X IPA 3 as the experimental class numbered 33 people and class X IPA 4 as the control class numbered 33 people. The research results obtained, namely: (1) Acquisition of the average score of pre-test and post-test in the experimental class 40,00 and 75,76 whereas in the control class 39,09 and 53,64; (2) there are differences in learning outcomes between learners before and after the used learning media livewire, based on the data analysis test U-Mann Whitney obtained value of sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 < 0,05; (3) the value of effect size 1.6 is included in the high category; (4) student responses 80.57% with the score interpretation criteria classified as good. The results of this study are expected to be an alternative in an effort to improve the learning outcomes of students on the material power dynamic. Keywords: Learning media, livewire, the learning outcomes, the power dynamic.

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study is to improve learning outcomes and student  activities through the Auditory Intellectually Repetition model at the energy material. Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class VIII C SMPN 5 Pontianak 2015/2016 academic year as many as 36 students. The data collection includes achievement test and activity of observation sheet. The data obtained showed an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle of 53% to 83%. The tests were given before and after the learning is determined by the percentage of classical completeness. The results of learning activities of students showing improvement, namely in the first cycle and the second cycle of active category 80% to 92%. These results indicate that the model of Auditory Intellectually Repetition can improve learning outcomes and student learning activities in a energy material. Keywords : Outcomes, Activities, AIR, Energy.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study was to increase the interest and learning outcomes of students in heat material using monopoly game learning media. This research was conducted in class VII E SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak, this was done based on the results of research that showed the average learning outcomes of students in the heat material is quite low, which is 42. One of the causes is the student’s low interest in learning physics material. Therefore this study used monopoly game learning media so that it would create fun atmosphere in learning, thus the student’s learning interest will begin to grow in harmony with the learning outcomes of students. The participants' interest in learning was carried out using questionnaires, while the learning outcomes of students were conducted using questions test such as multiple choice. The results showed that the student’s  learning interest increased by 10.19%, while the student’s learning outcomes also experienced an increase in this, indicated by the results of the t test, where tcount> t table (10.48> 1.708). Monopoly game learning media could increase student’s interest and learning outcomes, it is expected to be one of the alternative teaching media that help increase students' interest and learning outcomes.  Keywords: Interests, Learning Media, Monopoly, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe teams games tournament terhadap hasil belajar gerak lurus berubah beraturan siswa kelas X SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan The Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan kelas XD berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XE berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata-rata kelas kontrol (52,91) lebih tinggi dari kelas eksperimen (32,42). Berdasarkan hasil uji U-Mann Whitney, diperoleh nilai sig. 0,02>0,05, maka Ha diterima. Terdapat  perbedaan hasil belajar gerak lurus berubah beraturan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh adalah -1,01 yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tidak efektif pada hasil belajar gerak lurus berubah beraturan siswa kelas X SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif tipe TGT , Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aim to determine the effect of applying cooperative learning models by teams games tournament type to student’s learning result on uniformly accelerated motion matter in 10th grade of Santo Fransiskus Asisi Senior High School Pontianak. Research method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The D class of 10th grade which has 26 students was selected as the control class and the E class of 10th grade which also has 26 students as the experimental class. By the result of data analysis, The average score of control class (52,91) is higher than experimental class (32,42). By the results of U-Mann Whitney test, the significant value is 0,02 > 0,05, then Ha accepted. There are differences in learning result of uniformly accelerated motion matter between student who learn using TGT cooperative models than student who’s teached by conventional teaching methods. Effect Size value result is -1,01 shows that TGT cooperative learning model is not effective applied on learning uniformly accelerated motion matter 10th grade students of Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak.
