Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to  know the effect of applying cooperative learning  model by student team achievement  method toward   student’s learning result on   expansion in 7th  grade  of SMP N 22 Pontianak.  The research method is quasi experimental design with the nonequivalent control group design .  the sample determined by intact group method ang obtained VII B class which has 30 student as Experiment class and VII D class which also has 30 student as control class.  The average score of  experiment class (56,51) and control class (24,90). Based on U-Man Whitney test ,the significant value is 0,00<0,05 , then  Ha accepted. There are differences between  the student who learn using STAD than who student teached by conventional teaching method.  The value of effect size is 1.24 which indicate  that STAD method was  effective applied on expansion matter 7th grade  of SMP N 22 Pontianak.   Keyword: Cooperative Learning by STAD, Learning Resul

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to knowed effectiveness about the application of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray assisted structured worksheets to remediation student misconceptions on Archimedes laws in SMP Negeri 2 Siantan Grade VIII Pontianak. The method was experimental with one group pretest-posttest design which is 32 students participated. The results showed that student misconception have reduction after remediation as much as 59.74%. Cooperative learning model type two stay two stray assisted structured worksheets effective to remediation student misconception with Effect Size as much as 1.8 (high category). Based on interview, 77.78% students are agree with that students actively participate in learning when remediation use cooperative learning model type two stay two stray assisted structured worksheets. This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities for students to be able to overcome the misconceptions that experienced by students.Keywords: Remediation, Two Stay Two Stray.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray berbantuan lembar kerja berstruktur untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada hukum Archimedes di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Siantan Kabupaten Pontianak. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata penurunan miskonsepsi siswa setelah diberikan remediasi sebesar 59,74%. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray berbantuan lembar kerja berstruktur efektif untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa dengan Effect Size sebesar 1,8 (berkategori tinggi). Berdasarkan wawancara, 77,78% siswa setuju sehingga siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam pembelajaran ketika diremediasi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray berbantuan lembar kerja berstruktur. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi bagi siswa agar dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa.Kata Kunci: Remediasi, Two Stay Two Stray.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan rasa ingin tahu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) pada materi tekanan zat cair di SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII H di SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari  37 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, angket dan tes. Adapun peningkatan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 9 % dari 84 % menjadi 93 % dan peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik yang mencapai KKM dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 3 % dari 81 % menjadi 84 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran SQ4R dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik pada materi tekanan zat cair. Kata kunci : Rasa ingin tahu, SQ4R Abstract: This study aims to improve learning outcomes and curiosity by using learning methods Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) on the pressure of liquid material at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles. Subjects in this study were the students of class VIII H at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015 which consists of 37 learners. The data collecting were using observation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The increase in the curiosity of students from the first cycle to the second cycle is equal to 9% from 84% to 93% and the increasing of learning outcomes thoroughness of students who reach KKM from the first cycle to the second cycle is equal to 3% from 81% to 84%. Based on the results of this study indicate that SQ4R learning methods to improve learning outcomes and curiosity of students in the pressure of the liquid material. Keywords: Curiosity, SQ4R

Abstract

 Abstract The purpose of this study is to know the influence of examples and non-examples type of cooperative learning model for increased student learning achievement on solid matter expansion. The form of study used quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Data collection instrument in this study involved pretest and posttest that each of them  question description to quantify of learning achievement. This study conducted in two classes consisting of experiment class and control class. For experiment class, samples were 31 students and for control class were 29 students. The result of this study showed that there was difference increase of students learning achievement between being  taught with examples non-examples type of cooperative learning model and conventional learning model with P Value 1.07267x10-12 < from α = 0,05. Based on the results of this study can be recommended that examples and non examples type of cooperative learning model can be use as an alternative learning model to increase student learning achievement.Keywords: solid matter expansion, learning achievement, examples non-examples type of cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB) menggunakan model generatif dalam menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sekayam. Bentuk penelitian berupa Pre-Eksperimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test yang melibatkan 39 siswa kelas X F sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara intact group random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan memberikan tes diagnostik berupa soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka sebanyak 12 soal. Berdasarkan analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 50,39%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran GLBB menggunakan model generatif efektif untuk menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dengan effect size Cohen’s sebesar 2,0 (kategori tinggi). Dengan  demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan guru sebagai alternatif untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi siswa dalam memahami konsep GLBB. Kata Kunci : Integrasi Remediasi, Model generatif, Gerak lurus berubah beraturan Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of remediation that is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models to reduce the number of students who have misconceptions in grade X SMAN 1 Sekayam. The form of research of this study is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design involving 39 students of class X F as a sample which is selected by intact group random sampling. Data obtained by providing diagnostic tests in the form of multiple choice questions with open reason as many as 12 questions. Based on data analysis to the whole concept, there is a declining in the number of students who have misconceptions with the average decrease of 50,39 % and the effectiveness of remediation integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is included in high category with Cohen's effect size of 2,0. The results of this study indicate that remediation which is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is effective for lowering the number of students who have misconceptions. Thus, this study is expected to be used by teachers as an alternative to fix up the students’ misconceptions in understanding the concept of uniformly accelerated motion. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul penerapan model Group Investigation berbantuan flashcard, bertujuan untuk meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas XII IPA pada materi dinamika rotasi. Masalahnya adalah bagaimanakah efektivitas penerapan model Group Investigation berbantuan flashcard untuk meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas XII IPA pada materi dinamika rotasi. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre- experimental design dengan  rancangan one group pretest posttest design . populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas XII IPA dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 28 siswa diambil dari siswa yang mengikuti proses remediasi dari awal hingga akhir. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu melalui tes diagnostik yang disusun secara parale. Tes diagnostik tersebut berupa pilihan ganda dengan tiga alternatif jawaban disertai alasan. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh data yang menunjukkan siswa mengalami penurunan kesulitan belajar sebesar 0,54,dan menurut aturan ruas jari hasil penurunan kesulitan belajar siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak setelah remediasi dengan model group investigation berbtantuan flashcard pada materi dinamika gerak rotasi tingkat efektivitasnya tergolong pada kategori  sedang.   Kata Kunci : Group investigation, kesulitan belajar, flashcard   Abstract: This study, entitled the application of the Group Investigation model aided flashcard to remediate learning difficulties of students in the class XII material rotational dynamics. The problem is how the effectiveness of the Group Investigation model aided flashcard to remediate learning difficulties of students in the class XII material rotational dynamics. Study is a form of pre-experimental design with the design of one group pretest posttest design. population used is the number of class XII Science students 35 people. Sampling technique that saturated sampling with a sample of 28 students drawn from students who take remediation process from beginning to end. Techniques of data collection is through a diagnostic test arranged parale. A diagnostic test is a multiple choice with three alternative answers with reasons. From the research, the data obtained showed decreased student learning difficulties of 0.54, and according to the rules knuckles loss results of student learning difficulties SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak after remediation with the model group investigation berbtantuan flashcard dynamics of rotational motion on the material level of efectiveness belonging to the category being.                                                                                               Keywords: Group investigation, learning difficulties, flashcard

Abstract

Improved Through Use of Student Activities Learning Experiments In Class V SDN 01 Pemuar Belimbing. The method used is descriptive while the study is a form of action research. Subjects in this study is a science teacher and fifth grade students of SDN 01 Pemuar Belimbing 34 people. Data collection techniques used are direct observation and documentary techniques, with a data collection tool that each observation sheets, and student satisfaction questionnaires. The study was conducted during two cycles with the end result of research obtained by the students asked only 2.94% in the previous study, in Cycle I increased to 8.82%, and Cycle II increased to 14.40%. Students answer questions on a preliminary study 8.82%, at First cycle increased to 14.70%, in Cycle II increased to 32.35%. Students are issued an opinion on a preliminary study of 0%, in Cycle I still have not changed, the new Cycle II is 5.88% increase. Students conduct experiments on a preliminary study of 0%, the cycle I increased to 41.17%, in Cycle II increased to 52.94%. An increase in student learning outcomes especially in the cognitive aspects. In a preliminary study of student learning outcomes have been achieved 44.11% in Cycle I increased 64.70% and in Cycle II increased to 76.47%. From the data obtained it can be concluded that a significant increase in each cycle. Abstrak : Peningkatan Aktivitas Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Eksperimen Dalam Pembelajaran Di Kelas V SDN 01 Pemuar Belimbing. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sedangkan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru IPA dan siswa kelas V SDN 01 Pemuar Belimbing sebanyak 34 orang.Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dan dokumenter, dengan alat pengumpul data masing-masing yaitu lembar observasi, dan angket kepuasan siswa.Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua siklus dengan hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu siswa bertanya hanya 2,94% pada studi pendahuluan, di Siklus I meningkat menjadi 8,82%, dan Siklus II meningkat menjadi 14,40%. Siswa menjawab pertanyaan pada studi pendahuluan 8,82%, di Siklus I meningkat menjadi 14,70%, pada Siklus II meningkat menjadi 32,35%. Siswa mengeluarkan pendapat pada studi pendahuluan 0%, pada Siklus I masih belum terjadi perubahan, pada Siklus II baru terjadi peningkatan yaitu 5,88%. Siswa melakukan percobaan pada studi pendahuluan 0%, pada Siklus I meningkat menjadi 41,17%, pada Siklus II meningkat menjadi 52,94%. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada aspek kognitif. Pada studi pendahuluan hasil belajar siswa yang telah dicapai 44,11% di Siklus I meningkat 64,70% dan di Siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 76,47%. Dari data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada setiap siklus. Kata Kunci : Aktifitas belajar, Metode Eksperimen dan Pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to apply clinical interviews using mother tongue as an effort to remediate the students’ misconceptions of SD Negeri 18 Enggadang about magnet. The research form used was pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. Data collection tools are 9 multiple choice questions with 3 alternative answers. The sample of this study was the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 18 Enggadang consisting of 19 people who were chosen by saturated sampling technique where all members of the population were used as samples. Based on the results, the average percentage of students’ misconceptions at pre-test was 54.4% and the average percentage of students' misconceptions at post-test was 5.3%. The decrease in the number of student misconceptions was 28 misconceptions. Therefore, remediation using clinical interviews can be used to correct student misconceptions on magnetic subject. Clinical interviews are expected to be used as an alternative remediation activity in order to overcome misconceptions experienced by students.Keyword: Remediation, Misconception, Clinical Interview, Magnet.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak pada materi gaya dengan metode pembelajaran buzz group. Melalui metode pembelajaran buzz group, peserta didik secara keseluruhan akan berpartisipasi secara relevan dalam proses pembelajaran materi gaya melalui diskusi kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak dengan jumlah peserta didik 36 orang. Dari hasil penelitian pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas belajar peserta didik yang relevan sebesar 86,80 % dan pada siklus II sebesar 94,79 %. Terjadi peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 75 % dengan nilai rata-rata 84,3 dan pada siklus II sebesar 82,86 % dengan nilai rata-rata 87. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, Buzz Group Abstract : This classroom action research purpose to improve the activity and learning outcomes of students class VIII E SMPN 8 Pontianak on force matter with buzz group teaching methods. Overall students will participate with relevant in the learning process of force matter through the small group discussions and large groups. 36 studentof class VIII E SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak participate in the learning process of buzz group teaching methods. The results in the first cycle activity of the relevant learners 86.80% and the second cycle 94.79%. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine students 'understanding of aspects of understanding in understanding Newton's legal concepts and knowing the factors that cause students' lack of understanding in SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang class X MIPA totaling 30 students. This type of research is simple descriptive research. Found the percentage of score overall answers students do not understand Newton's legal concept of 67.8%. Judging from every aspect of understanding, the extrapolation aspect has a higher level of difficulty compared to the translation and interpretation aspects. The cause of students not understanding in understanding the concept include students not understanding the concept, not understanding the relationship between concepts, not understanding and interpreting formulas, and lack of teachers in giving questions in the form of understanding concepts.Keywords: Analysis, Understanding, Translation, Interpretation, Extrapolation.
