Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the profile error and the difference in form errors in completing the matter of review of gender on the material vibration in SMP Negeri 1 Binjai Hulu. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The study sample were 32 students were taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collection tool in this research is test. From the analysis of data obtained by the profile error experienced by students that is the fault of the concept, systematic error and random error. The difference forms the error between the men with the percentage of on errors the concept of 32.5 %, a systematic error of 11.25 % and random errors 13,75 %. women with a percentage of that error the concept of 23,75 %, a systematic error of 11.25 % and random error of 11.25 %.Keywords: error analysis, Gender, vibration

Abstract

AbstractThis purpose of this study is to know the  influences  of mind mapping technique on improving student learning outcomes in materials of heat transfer in grade VII. The form of study used quasi experimental with quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Instrument data collection used in this study involved pretest and posttest that each of them question multiple choice amounted 18 to quantify of learning achievement . The technique of selecting sample used intac group.study uses classes that are composed of control classes and experiment each class consists of 40 students. The result of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning outcomes using mind mapping technique with student using conventional record technique then obtained the result P Value 1.88461 X 10-22< alpha 0.05. Based on the result of this  study can be recommended that techniq mind mapping can be use as an alternative learning technique to increase student learning achievement.Keywords: technique, mind mapping, learning outcomes, heat transfer

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a mathematical representation test by analyzing the Rasch model and explaining the mathematical representation ability of junior high school students in Pontianak. This research is in the form of research and development with the type of research is the development instrument. The representation test was developed through the formative research stage, which is the preliminary stage; the preparation and design phase, then followed by the formative evaluation stage; one-to-one, expert review, small group with Rasch model analysis, and field tests. Based on the results of the item analysis, it was found that the mathematical representation test instrument analyzed by the Rasch model was precisely in accordance with the specified criteria, so that it could be used to measure students' mathematical representation abilities. Based on the results of the analysis of the answers, it was found that the mathematical representation of junior high school students in Pontianak mostly had difficulty in translating forms of image representation into verbal representations and translating forms of verbal representations into image representations. Keywords: Instruments Development, Representation Test, Analysis Of The Rasch Model

Abstract

The main purpose of research is whether the representation of mathematical ability of students increased after learning gained through the program Mathematical Maple combined with cooperative learning Think Pair Share on lectures of Mathematical Physics. Subjects were students of third semester of physical education courses with the number of 35 students. The method used is a Class Action Research conducted through three cycles or actions which each cycle. The research instrument consists of: test, questionnaire, and observation guidelines. Based on data analysis concluded: (1) the ability of the representation of the students in understanding the meaning of the physical, the ability of representation of students to represent the mathematical equation in the form of graphs, the ability of the representation of the students in giving meaning physical on the results of visualization, and the ability of the representation of the students in understanding the course materials Mathematical Physics increase in each cycle or action; (2) the implementation process using computer-aided applications maple in the first cycle having problems because the students have never known the computer-assisted program maple, but in the next cycle students were able to adjust the maple program that is being used; and (3) the response of students to the course of action given the overall increase in each cycle. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika untuk perolehan belajar konsep kinematika gerak lurus di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk kabupaten Sambas, dan (2) mengetahui perolehan belajar pebelajar melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika untuk konsep kinematika gerak lurus di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara purposive dan snowball. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar penilaian, format wawancara terstruktur, lembar observasi yang dilakukan pada saat uji coba terbatas dan uji lapangan dan tes konseptual. Pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan informasi awal, (2) perencanaan (pengembangan produk awal), (3) uji  ahli (4) revisi I, (5) uji coba terbatas, dan (6) uji lapangan. Hasil uji ahli dari ahli materi dan ahli media yaitu media layak untuk diujicoba dengan revisi sesuai saran, sedangkan hasil validasi teman sejawat adalah layak diujicoba tanpa revisi. Penilaian rata-rata dari uji coba terbatas mendapat kualifikasi sangat baik dan pada uji lapangan mendapat kualifikasi sangat baik. Perolehan belajar pebelajar melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika untuk konsep kinematika gerak lurus di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk menghasilkan kualifikasi baik. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran Fisika yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Fisika khususnya untuk konsep kinematika gerak lurus. Kata kunci: Media, Pengembangan, Perolehan Belajar Konsep   Abstract: Lessons are readily accepted in accordance with the needs and character of learners is very necessary. By selecting the right media, expected an increase in the learning process efficient and effective so that learners learn good effect on learning outcomes of learners. Multimedia is able to combine text, audio, images, animation, music and video in a single unit or that serves to support the attractiveness of a medium to achieve mastery of learning objectives. This reseach aims to: (1) develop learning media for the acquisition of learning physics concepts straight motion kinematics in class X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk Sambas, and (2) determine the acquisition of learners learn through media development to the concept of learning physics of motion kinematics straight in class X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk. Methods of research and development with a qualitative approach. Making the subject of research conducted by purposive and snowball. Data collection instrument in the form of assessment sheet, a structured interview format, the observation sheet performed at the time limited trial and field test and conceptual test. This development is done in stages as follows: (1) gathering initial information, (2) planning (initial product development), (3) test experts (4) revision I, (5) limited trial, and (6) field test. The test results matter experts and experts from media experts that the media deserves to be tested with the appropriate revision suggestions, while the validation result is worthy colleagues tested without revision. Average valuation of limited trial got excellent qualifications and the field test gets excellent qualifications. Acquisition of learners learn through media development to the concept of learning physics kinematics rectilinear motion in class X SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk produce well qualified. It is stated that Physics instructional media that have developed a decent used for learning physics in particular to the concept of straight motion kinematics.   Keywords: Media, Development, Acquisition Learning Concepts

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the effectiveness of misconception remediation of the seventh grade students of Pontiank state middle school by using Problem Based Learning model for decrease the number of students misconception on the heat transfer lesson material. One group pretest-posttest was used as the design model in this research. The intact group technique was used as the technique of sampling. The sample were class VII D with 36 students. The data gained in the form of pretest and posttest would be analyzed in percentage calculate of reduction in the number of student misconception. Based on the data analysis, the average percentage of reduction misconception was 39.45%. The results of Mc Nemar significance test on dk = 1 and α= 5% showed > , were equal to 22,88 > 3,84. There was a conceptual change on the students significantly. The Decreasing Quantity Students that Misconception (DQM) Problem Based Learning model in remediating misconception were 39,44% (high category). The results of this research were expected to be used as the development material of PBL in remediation learning about the heat transfer material. Keywords: Heat Transfer, Misconception, Problem Based Learning, Remediation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kerja laboratorium melalui PhET pada perubahan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tentang hukum Archimedes siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai  Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest yang melibatkan 31 siswa sebagai sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik intact group. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerja laboratorium melalui PhETberpengaruh signifikanterhadap jumlah miskonsepsi siswa pada materi hokum Archimedes, dengan  %. Selanjutnya, diperoleh rata-rata persentase profil miskonsepsi siswa  pada pre-test dan post-test masing-masing sebesar 66% dan 12%, dengan persentase penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi setiap konsep dan setiap siswa masing-masing sebesar 80% dan 83%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi bagi siswa agar dapat mengatasi miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa. Kata kunci: Kerja Laboratorium, PhET, Remediasi, Hukum Archimedes Abstract: The purpose of this research wasto investigate  the influence of remediation activity through few Lab work with PhET on students misconceptions about Archimedes’s Law . The research method used wasPre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design that involved 31 students as sample selected by intact group. The results shows that remediationLab work with PhET have a significant effecton reduction the number of students’ misconceptionabout Archimedes’s law,with ;  5%. Furthermore,the average percentage of students’ misconception profile in pre-test and post-testrespectively by 66% and 12%,withpercentage of reduction in the misconception for all concept and all studentsrespectively by 80% and 83%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa materi getaran dan gelombang kelas VIII di SMPN 17 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment rancangan The Non-Randomized Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes essay berjumlah 7 soal. Rata-rata pemahaman konsep awal dan akhir siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 7.84 dan 72.5 sedangkan kontrol adalah 7.59 dan 50.41. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikan α = 5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil pemahaman konsep akhir siswa yang menggunakan model discovery learning dengan yang mengunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 1.28 dengan kategori tinggi, artinya model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep akhir siswa materi getaran dan gelombang. Kata Kunci:   Model Discovery learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Getaran dan Gelombang Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know the influence of discovery learning model to students' understanding the concept of material vibrations and waves on grade VIII SMPN 17 Pontianak. The forms of this research was a Quasi Experimental with The Non-Randomized Control Group design. The sample of this research are VIII D as experiment class and VIII F as the control class. The instruments that been was essay tests included 7 questions. The average understanding concept of beginning and finaly outcomes of students in experiment class is 7.84 and 72.5 while in control class is 7.59 and 50.41. Based on the data analysis using t test with significance level α = 5% indicated there were differences between final concept understanding students that taught by using discovery learning with students that taught by using conventional learning model. The value ​​of effect size 1.28 with high category, which means discovery learning models affect the students understanding of the concept of matter end vibration and wave. Abstract

Abstract : This study raised this issue through a demonstration of the method can increase the activity of students in learning mathematics of integer multiplication in the second grade students of SDN 03 Nanga Pau, then the sub-problem consists of (1) Is there an increase in the quality of teaching mathematics at Grade II by using demonstration to improve student learning outcomes of integer multiplication material. (2) Is there an increase in the activity of student learning outcomes in the class II math subject matter of multiplying integers using the demonstration. The research method used is descriptive research conducted while the shape is action research. The subject of research is the Grade II SDN 03 Nanga Pau in math and 1 teacher. The results showed RPP cycle I still have not arranged well, not teacher performance and student learning outcomes maximal got a score of 64.13. While on the second cycle showed RPP is in good order, the performance of teachers has reached a maximum and student learning outcomes scored 83.10. Based on the research in the first cycle and second cycle can be concluded that the learning plan (RPP) has been well-structured and synchronized, increasing teacher performance and maximum, and student learning outcomes also improved from an average score of 64.13 to 83, 10 so it can be concluded that the use of the demonstration with the help of the media chat can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics teaching material particular integer multiplication. Abstrak : Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah Apakah melalui metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas II SDN 03 Nanga Pau, kemudian sub-sub masalah terdiri dari (1) Apakah terdapat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas II dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang materi perkalian bilangan bulat. (2) Apakah terdapat peningkatan aktifitas hasil belajar siswa di kelas II pada mata pelajaran matematika tentang materi perkalian bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sedangkan bentuk penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas II SDN 03 Nanga Pau pada mata pelajaran matematika dan 1 orang guru. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan RPP masih belum tersusun secara baik, kinerja guru belum maksimal dan hasil belajar siswa mendapat skor 64,13. Sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan RPP sudah tersusun dengan baik, kinerja guru sudah mencapai maksimal dan hasil belajar siswa mendapat skor 83,10. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam perencanaan pembelajaran (RPP) telah tersusun dengan baik dan sinkron, kinerja guru semakin meningkat dan maksimal, dan hasil belajar siswa juga lebih meningkat dari skor rata-rata 64,13 menjadi 83,10 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dengan bantuan media chat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi perkalian bilangan bulat. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatkan kemampuan problem solving dan komunikasi matematis siswa serta respon siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan model Project Based Learning (PBL). Tempat penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang.  Sampel diambil secara acak (random), dikelompokkan ke dalam kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan design Pretest-Postest Control Gruop. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan kemampuan problem solving matematis siswa antara menggunakan model PBL dengan  model pembelajaran langsung di SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang dengan taraf signifikan 5%. (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi  matematis siswa antara menggunakan PBL dengan  model pembelajaran langsung di SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. (3) Siswa memiliki sikap positif terhadap mata pelajaran matematika, pembelajaran dengan model PBL dan terhadap soal-soal kemampuan problem solving dan komunikasi matematis yang diberikan.   Kata Kunci : Problem solving, Komunikasi Matematis, Project Based Learning (PBL), Pembelajaran Langsung dan Respon Siswa Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the increase in the problem solving and mathematical communication students and student response after learning of mathematics follow the model of Project Based Learning (PBL). The place of research in SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. Samples are taken randomly (random), grouped into classes experiment using PBL learning and classroom control using direct instruction. This study was an experimental study with pretest-posttest design Control Group. It can be concluded that: (1) There are significant differences increase students' mathematical problem solving ability between the model PBL learning model directly in SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang with significant value 5%. (2) There are significant differences increase students' mathematical communication capabilities between using PBL learning model directly in SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang. Students have a positive attitude towards the subjects of mathematics, the PBL learning model and the problems of the problem solving and mathematical communication given.
