Abstract

  Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the vocational education that receives attention from the government. This seminar aims to assess students' skills in using Microsoft Office programs, namely Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point. For graduates who want to develop a career in the office sector, they should master the applications used in offices. SMK functions as a vocational school that organizes skills programs such as engineering, office, fine arts, restaurants, administration, and others, which can provide education, including hard skills that support professional skills. Currently, students must have the ability to run programs on Windows and the most commonly used programs such as Microsoft Office. SMK Ibrahimy is an Educational Institution under the auspices of the Salafiyah Syafiiyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School. This seminar can be used as evaluation material for vocational schools such as SMK Ibrahimy to improve the skills of their students.

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the process of basic video editing training using Adobe Premiere as a medium to strengthen the non-technical skills (soft skills) of vocational high school (SMK) students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, conducted through a two-day seminar and hands-on practice. The training materials included an introduction to the Adobe Premiere interface, basic video editing tools, and skill implementation through group projects. The results showed improvement not only in students’ technical abilities in video editing but also in the development of soft skills such as teamwork, time management, visual communication, and creativity. Students responded positively, and teachers considered the training effective for integrating technology, creative expression, and project-based learning. Overall, the training not only introduced Adobe Premiere as a technical tool but also served as a platform for strengthening soft skills that are relevant to the demands of the digital-era workforce.

Abstract

Microsoft Excel training at MA Nurul Islam Pakuhaji Tangerang Banten was held as an effort to improve the information and communication technology (ICT) competency of students. For this reason, one of the community service groups of Ibrahimy University Situbondo conducted Microsoft Excel training for MA Nurul Islam Pakuhaji students which aimed to improve students' technical skills in using spreadsheet software for data visualization purposes. Microsoft Excel is an application that is widely used, both in educational and professional environments, because it provides various features that support students in processing, analyzing, and presenting data efficiently. This training covers the basics of using Microsoft Excel, such as an introduction to the interface, basic formulas, and data processing with tables. Through this training, students can understand the use of Microsoft Excel regarding data processing and become the first step in equipping students with relevant digital skills in the modern era

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to organize a seminar on Microsoft Word as an effort to improve digital literacy skills among students of SMP 3 Ibrahimy. Digital literacy is an important skill needed by students in facing challenges in the era of information technology. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation during the seminar. The results of the study indicate that the Microsoft Word seminar succeeded in improving students' understanding of the basic and advanced functions of this word processing software. Students became more proficient in creating documents, organizing text formats, and utilizing features that help their learning tasks. In addition, this activity also encouraged a positive attitude towards the use of technology in a beneficial way

Abstract

In The Current millenial and digital design has become a demand in the creative industry today. In this case, vocational high school student majoring in Multimedia or Visual Communication Design need more graphic design skill. This training was held at Ibrahimy 1 Vocational High School, Sukorejo which is still under the auspices of the Salafiyah Syafiiyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School, specifically student majoring in Multimedia. The puspose of this community services is to strengthen the abilities and skills of vacationnal high school students using various CorelDraw graphic desain software as provisions is facing the work and enterpreneurship in the creative industry. The Method of implementing this community service avaible in the Coreldrwa application. The result of the training were that most students had an increased understand understandding of the basic concept desighn, design elements and  principles of visual aesthetics and student were able to operate basic Coreldraw features such as creating and changing a object, adjusting color and using layers and simple effects. This had a positive impack impact  on increasing students skill in designing logos, curicculum vitae and also a posters.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of graphic design training using CorelDraw software in developing students’ soft skills at SMP Ibrahimy 3 Sukorejo. Softskills such as creativity, visual communication, collaboration, and problem-solving are essential competencies that should be cultivated from an early age, especially in the digital and creative industry era. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through direct observation, interviews, and documentation during the training sessions. The results indicate that the training not only enhanced students’ understanding of basic graphic design techniques but also fostered self-confidence, teamwork abilities, and an appreciation of visual aesthetics. Students’ active participation in designing logos, brochures, and other promotional media served as a key indicator of the success of this contextual learning approach. Therefore, the CorelDraw training has proven to be an effective strategy for strengthening students’ soft skills and is relevant to be integrated into 21st-century skills-based educational programs.

Abstract

This community service activity took place at SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo which included learning about graphic design with a theme related to digital technology, namely graphic design training using the CorelDraw application, the aim of which was to increase students’ creativity in designing, withthe hope that later when they graduate the students can immediately work or open their own business space. The approach used in this training activity was a lecture delivering material about graphic design using the CorelDraw application, then practicum and closed with a question and answer session. CorelDraw Software was used as a tool in this activity because it is easy to master for new users who want to learn to design a design. The output of this activity is that students are able to create a logo design, poster, and banner.

Abstract

The C++ training program held at SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo aims to improve students' skills in creating software using the C++ language. This activity is designed to provide a basic, intermediate-level understanding of C++ syntax, data structures, algorithms, and applications in simple programming. Participants in this training were 10th and 11th grade students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) and Software Engineering (RPL), taught by experienced instructors in the field of programming. The training approach consisted of interactive lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and small projects aimed at honing students' problem-solving skills. The material covered included an introduction to variables, data types, operators, branching, looping, functions, arrays, and the fundamentals of object-oriented programming (OOP). Furthermore, participants were introduced to the use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Code::Blocks and Visual Studio Code to assist with coding and debugging. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge of C++ programming concepts, with 85% of them successfully creating functional programs based on the assigned modules. This training also fosters collaboration among students through group discussions and peer assessments, thus fostering teamwork skills. It is hoped that this activity will serve as a starting point for students to develop further programming projects and prepare them for competition or the world of work in the information technology sector.

Abstract

The digitalization information system for asset application forms at the Banyuwangi Fisheries Service is a research to design and implement an information system that can support the processing of asset tenant data through a web-based platform. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problem of managing asset tenant data which is often complicated and time-consuming, and to provide better accessibility to users. This research uses data collection methods through literature reviews and interviews related to asset tenant data management. According to needs analysis. The information system is designed using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP using the Laravell framework. The resulting information system includes crucial features such as applicant characteristics, usage plans, requested assets and rental periods. Users can practically access this website anywhere and anytime. The results of this study show that the website-based asset tenant application information system provides significant benefits for agencies and the community, including increasing efficiency in managing asset data, reducing errors in data processing and facilitating access to information from different devices.

Abstract

Advances in information technology are driving government agencies to improve data governance quickly, accurately, and in an integrated manner. The Banyuwangi Central Statistics Agency (BPS) requires a State Property (BMN) recording system capable of improving the quality of its governance. This system was designed to minimize errors in manual recording, expedite report preparation, and facilitate real-time data access. This research aims to create a web-based state property data collection information system using a prototype method, enabling active user and developer involvement from the design process through testing. This research obtained data through observation, interviews, studies, documentation, and references from various sources. The resulting system features incoming and outgoing goods data input, reporting, and automatic validation to avoid data duplication. This system is expected to strengthen BMN management at BPS Banyuwangi, facilitate digital transformation in administration, and serve as a reference for the application of information technology in government agencies.
