Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman siswa dalam memahami bacaan terutama dalam memahami soal mengakibatkan siswa kesulitan dalam menerima informasi dari teks bacaan, memahami instruksi guru dan menyelesaikan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran team games tournament (TGT) dengan berbantuan permainan jejak kata dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Populasi yang digunakan adalah Gugus 09 Pamulang tahun 2025, sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 40 orang di SD Islam Terpadu Al Inayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teks bacaan, soal-soal esai dan kartu kata kunci. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan melakukan tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan uji statistik parametrik yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji paired sample test. Hasil dari pengolahan data statistik dilakukan dengan uji paired samples test yang menunjukan Sig. 0,000 hal ini menunjukan Ha di terima dan H0 ditolak. Pengolahan data statistik menunjukan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan pada hasil belajar pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil pengolahan data menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran team games tournament berbantuan permainan jejak kata dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Saran yang dapat diberikan peneliti untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini adalah dengan menambahkan kelompok kontrol serta dapat mengombinasikan jenis permainan edukatif yang berbeda, yang bertujuan untuk menemukan kombinasi baru untuk model pembelajaran lebih optimal.

Abstract

The integration of ethnomathematics rooted in traditional dance into primary school mathematics instruction plays a vital role in connecting students with their cultural heritage while enhancing the relevance of education. This study aims to: (1) analyze the trends and patterns of research related to traditional dance-based ethnomathematics in primary mathematics education; (2) examine various aspects such as annual publication rates, institutional collaborations, and the most frequently used keywords over the past ten years; and (3) identify future research opportunities in the field of ethnomathematics. The method employed is bibliometric analysis, which involves collecting and evaluating data from scientific publications indexed in Scopus from 2016 to 2025. The analysis focuses on citation patterns, author collaborations, and keyword trends. The results reveal a total of 243 scientific documents addressing topics related to ethnomathematics and traditional dance, with an annual publication growth rate of 3.51%. The average number of citations per document stands at 7.741, indicating significant interest from the academic community. This approach has proven effective in enhancing student motivation and engagement cognitively, emotionally, and kinesthetically while also strengthening their cultural identity. The study recommends the development of curricula that prioritize local values and encourage collaboration among academics, educators, and communities. Thus, integrating ethnomathematics into education serves not only as a pedagogical solution but also as a cultural strategy to reinforce national identity in the face of globalization, while equipping the younger generation with stronger critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Mathematics learning achievement is still considered difficult by some students. This assumption arose because students did not understand what was learned, one of the materials was addition and subtraction of fractions. The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning achievement using the problem-based learning model of addition and subtraction of fractions. The research object was in class III SDN Labuan Barat with 26 students consisting of 12 male students and 14 female students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The instruments in this study used mathematical sum tests, observations, and field notes and documentation. Data analysis uses each cycle, namely 1) planning stage, 2) action stage, 3) observation stage, 4) reflection stage. Based on the results of the study showed that 1) cycle 1 got an average score of 76.54 with 73% of students completing, 2) cycle 2 got an average score of 94.85 with 89% of students completing and an increase of 18.31, it can be concluded problem-based learning models can improve learning achievement in the material of addition and subtraction of fractions in elementary schools

Abstract

The ethnomathematics approach in primary education offers the potential to conceptualize mathematics learning in a contextual, reflective, and culturally based manner. However, the integration of local culture into Indonesia's mathematics curriculum remains sporadic and lacks a systematic structure. This study aims to describe the implementation of ethnomathematics in multicultural education in primary schools in Banyumas, focusing on the use of Ngapak’s non-standard units in multiplication operations and the utilization of traditional games such as engklek and dam-daman in teaching geometry. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, this study involved teachers, students, and school principals from three primary schools in Banyumas. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, which were then interactively analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results show that: 1) the use of non-standard units such as unting, sangga, and selingget in multiplication operations enriches students' conceptual understanding by linking mathematics to real-life practices such as trade and agriculture, 2) the engklek game strengthens geometry concepts through representations of squares, rectangles, and triangles, while the dam-daman game contributes to the development of critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and spatial strategies, 3) this study proves that the ethnomathematics approach not only increases student engagement in learning but also contributes to academic achievement, with mastery levels ranging from 92% to 95% and average scores between 87 and 89.

Abstract

Research on ethnoscience-based instructional materials in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) education has grown in recent years. However, a significant gap remains in bibliometric analysis and systematic mapping, limiting the understanding of research trends, collaboration patterns, and key themes in this field. Objective: This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of ethnoscience-based IPAS instructional materials to identify publication trends, researcher networks, and thematic focuses. Novelty: Unlike previous studies focusing on classroom implementation, this research offers the first bibliometric mapping of ethnoscience in IPAS materials. Methods: This study used a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis of Scopus-indexed publications (2020–2025). Data was analyzed using VOSviewer 1.6.20, Biblioshiny, and Microsoft Excel to identify trends and key research themes. Results: The findings reveal that Indonesia and China are the top contributors, with dominant themes including curriculum development and student engagement. Research collaboration remains limited, with only 16.73% of studies involving international partnerships. Additionally, challenges include the lack of a standardized framework for implementing ethnoscience in elementary curricula. Conclusion: This study highlights the need for cross-disciplinary collaboration between educators, researchers, and policymakers to enhance the application of ethnoscience in elementary school. Strengthening international partnerships will further support the development of culturally responsive and scientifically robust instructional materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari gaya belajar pada sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian berada di kelas IV SDN Mandirancan, Gugus Ahmad Dahlan Kecamatan Kebasen, Kabupaten Banyumas. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu angket gaya belajar, dokumentasi, dan wawancara kepada 9 siswa yang terdiri dari 3 siswa dari setiap gaya belajar siswa. Gaya belajar yang digunakan yaitu visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Penelitian di mulai dengan memberikan angket gaya belajar, kemudian memberikan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan wawamcara. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dan teknik analisis yang digunakan berupa reduksi data, pemaparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Gaya belajar visual mampu menyelesaikan masalah sampai tahap akhir. 2) Gaya belajar auditori mampu sampai tahap melaksanakan rencana menyelesaikan masalah, namun kurang mampu tahap melihat atau mengecek kembali. 3) Gaya belajar kinestetik mampu sampai tahap melaksanakan rencana menyelesaikan masalah, namun tidak mampu tahap melihat atau mengecek kembali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi yang diimplementasikan oleh guru untuk meminimalisir perilaku bullying di tingkat Sekolah Dasar khususnya di kelas V SDN 01 Taringgul Tonggoh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai strategi yang digunakan oleh guru. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pemilihan informan memakai purposive sampling yaitu guru umum, guru kelas V dan siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data antara lain observasi, wawancara dan dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis data menurut Miles and Huberman untuk mengungkap dampak positif implementasi strategi ini terhadap iklim Sekolah Dasar. Temuan menunjukkan variasi dalam pendekatan, termasuk pendidikan berbasis empati, pelatihan anti bullying, dan keterlibatan orang tua melalui diskusi melibatkan poin-poin kunci strategi, tantangan, dan implikasi praktisnya. Penegasan kembali pentingnya peran guru dalam meminimalisir perilaku bullying dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan mendukung di Sekolah Dasar, sambil memberikan panduan bagi penelitian lebih lanjut dan penerapan praktis di lapangan. Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is the main focus of Indonesia's education reform, which introduces a new paradigm for inclusive and adaptive learning. This study evaluates the readiness of P3K teachers in implementing diagnostic assessments in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on teachers' understanding, attitudes, and skills and the factors that influence them. Through a qualitative case study approach, results show that some teachers have a good understanding of Merdeka Curriculum and are able to integrate diagnostic assessments effectively, while others need additional assistance. There was variation in the implementation of diagnostic assessments, with some teachers using a more effective holistic approach. Teachers' technical skills also influence the implementation of diagnostic assessments, with some requiring additional training. Continued support from education institutions and local governments is needed to improve teachers' readiness to face the challenges of implementing Curriculum Merdeka and diagnostic assessments. This research provides valuable insights to improve educational practices and ensure more adaptive and relevant learning for students.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the potential of ondel-ondel, a traditional Betawi puppet,as a medium for teaching mathematics in elementary schools and to examinestudents' enthusiasm while participating in math lessons that are integrated with thislocal cultural element. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects including the school principal, fifth-grade teachers, and fifth-grade students at SDIT Al Inayah. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The research results show thatthe structure and ornaments of ondel-ondel contain various mathematical elements,such as algebra concepts, two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes, symmetry,patterns, and measurements. The use of ondel-ondel as a teaching medium hasproven to increase student activity and enthusiasm as well as aid in understandingmathematical concepts contextually. In addition, the use of local culture-based mediasuch as traditional clothing, traditional houses, traditional games, and traditional foodsalso has the potential to serve as alternative media for teaching ethnomathematics.This learning reinforces local cultural values and supports the character developmentof students in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. Thus, ondel-ondelbased ethnomathematics can be a relevant pedagogical innovation in enhancing thequality of mathematics education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Di Indonesia masih banyak orang tua yang tidak mengetahui pola kepengasuhan yang baik itu seperti apa. Orang tua menganggap selama pola asuh yang diberikan membuat anak menjadi penurut maka pola asuh tersebut sudah dianggap baik dan benar. Keberhasilan dan pencapaian anak tidak terlepas dari pola asuh yang diberikan orang tua, termasuk keberhasilan anak dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an di lingkungan minoritas Islam yaitu suku Batak Pakpak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan pola asuh orang tua anak penghafal Al-Qur’an di suku Batak Pakpak. Peran orang tua sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepribadian anak, seperti apa anak dimasa depan sedikit banyaknya adalah akibat pengaruh campur tangan orang tua. Subyek penelitian ini adalah orang tua suku Batak Pakpak di Pakpak Bharat yang anaknya menghafal Al-Qur’an. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pola asuh yang diterapkan orang tua pada anak penghafal A-Qur’an di Suku Batak Pakpak adalah pola asuh otoriter. Implikasi BK dalam kondisi ini adalah memberikan pandangan kepada orang tua bahwa pola asuh otoriter memiliki dampak buruk terhadap perkembangan anak. Semoga hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh peneliti lain sebagai bacaan yang dapat menambah wawasan dan pengatahuan terkait pola asuh orang tua.
