Abstract

Smartphone is widely used around the world. It’s user authentication usually used pin code, pattern code, fingerprint and conventional login authentication. This kinds of authentication mechanism is intrusive because those mechanisms requires users to give exclusive interaction for user authentication during the process. One of authentication method which is non-intrusive during data collection is authentication by using gait. This mechanism classified as non-intrusive because this mechanism could gather biometric data without being noticed by the authentication subjects. Since it is non-intrusive, this mechanism allows re-authentications without bothering the authentication subjects. One of the recent gait recognition is using accelerometer on smartphone to measure and capture acceleration data on gait. This method extract step cycles in various length, map and interpolate the data into higher sample count, and then use each of mapped and interpolated data as feature using recognition. Regardless the classification or recognition method, using each mapped and interpolated data as features would result in high processing time during classification or recognition due to high feature count. In this research, we try to simplify the features of gait data with minimum data loss so it might give robust result with less latency by aligning cubic Bezier curve to step cycle data and extracting the Bezier properties.

Abstract

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, the need for ease in data processing has become crucial. Recording mosque funds is one area that requires accurate and reliable information, considering the various types of cash transactions managed by the mosque, such as zakat, sadaqah, infak, wakaf, and others. However, the majority of mosque financial managers still rely on manual methods for recording and calculating finances, using books as reporting tools. This method carries high risks of data and report loss, as well as inefficiency in terms of speed and transparency. Therefore, the "MyCash Masjid" application was developed as a solution to enhance the quality of mosque financial management systems. MyCash Masjid is an application that encompasses income data, expenditure data, data summaries, and comprehensive reports. The use of information technology in the form of this application is expected to provide an effective solution in managing and recording mosque finances, as well as facilitating financial reporting for mosque administrators.

Abstract

The mobile-based online book store application B-Store was developed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of book promotion and sales through an e-commerce platform. This research aims to develop effective promotional strategies, identify consumer obstacles in searching and purchasing books online, and design application features that meet consumer needs. By using hardware and software requirements analysis, software design, flowchart diagrams, use case diagrams, and data flow diagrams, the B-Store application successfully meets user needs in purchasing books online. Code implementation was done in Java using Android Studio, and testing was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire, indicating user satisfaction with the application. The conclusion of this study is that the B-Store application successfully improved services for book sellers and provided a more convenient shopping experience for consumers through an intuitive online book sales platform.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a parking system based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology to address the issues of parking space limitations and efficiency. The system is designed using an HC-SR04 sensor and an ESP32 microcontroller, with data displayed in real-time through an Android application based on MIT App Inventor. The research employed applied research methods, with data collection techniques involving observation and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed that the system has a functionality value of 1 or 100%, and a usability level of 81%–100%, indicating that the system is highly suitable for use. Additionally, this system is energy-efficient, with a power consumption of only 0.9105 watts (5.607 mWh for 6 hours of use), and the Wi-Fi connection remains stable up to a distance of 20 meters. Sensor testing revealed that at distances of 50–100 cm, objects can still be detected up to an angle of ±45°, while at a distance of 150 cm, effective detection only occurs within the angle range of -30° to 30°. At a distance of 200 cm, objects are not detected at an oblique angle. These results demonstrate that an IoT-based smart parking system can function effectively and efficiently if the sensor placement is adjusted to its optimal range.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) marker-based tracking has evolved from single-marker systems, which limit spatial coverage and robustness, to multi-marker approaches that enable simultaneous detection for expanded interactivity. Prior research using libraries like Vuforia and AR.js has applied multi-markers in education (e.g., solar system simulations) and interactive media, improving redundancy and workspace; however, stacked transparent overlays—treating layers as unified yet distinct entities—remain underexplored, especially for alignment precision and opacity effects in translucent materials like PVC.This study evaluates tracking accuracy and detection efficiency of stacked transparent markers (2–7 layers) in AR.js, printed on 0.3 mm PVC sheets and tested with a Vivo V30 Pro camera under controlled lighting. Well-aligned configurations maintain accuracy near single-marker baselines (0.85 mm to 1.15 mm deviation), with detection rates from 98.5% to 88.3%, though processing time rises from 16.9 ms to 25.9 ms, lowering frame rates from 59.2 FPS to 38.6 FPS. Translational (2–5 mm) and rotational (5°–15°) misalignments sharply degrade performance, reducing 7-layer detection to 65.4% and 58.2%, respectively. The primary contribution is quantitative benchmarks for PVC-based overlays in AR.js, confirming feasibility for multi-layered tracking while defining tolerances (<2 mm translation, <3° rotation) to sustain >90% detection in 3–5 layers. These insights guide AR design for robust, extended applications in education and industry.
