Abstract

This article discusses resilience as a key factor in enhancing academic performance among lecturers in higher education institutions. In facing increasing professional demands, lecturers often experience pressures that impact their physical and mental well-being. Resilience, defined as the ability to recover and positively adapt to stress, has been shown to contribute to stable and high-quality performance. This study aims to explore the relationship between lecturers' resilience levels and their performance in teaching, research, and clinical service. Using a quantitative approach with data analysis conducted through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research involved 200 lecturers from various health higher education institutions. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between resilience and lecturer performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.613. Factors influencing lecturers' resilience include social support, a conducive work environment, and institutional support. These findings highlight the importance of educational institutions designing support programs that can strengthen lecturers' resilience, thereby enhancing their productivity and well-being. Thus, this article provides insights into how resilience can affect lecturers' performance and emphasizes the need to create supportive environments to improve educational quality. Efforts to bolster lecturers' resilience are expected to contribute to their professional development and career sustainability in the academic world.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Transformational leadership of lecturers plays a crucial role in influencing the work productivity of students across various fields of study, including nursing. This leadership approach is essential in supporting the learning and development of nursing students. This study aims to explore and analyze the relationship between transformational leadership of lecturers and the work productivity of nursing students. By understanding the dynamics and influence of this leadership style, it is hoped to provide deep insights into the factors affecting the work productivity of nursing students. To know the relationship between transformasional leadership and work productivity of nursing students at Malahayati University, with a sample of 123 respondents. The sample approach used in this study is Simple Random sample. The analysis results indicate that the majority of lecturer’s exhibit non-transformasional leadership, and most nursing students are not productive. The p-value is 0.001 (<0.05), which means there is a significant relationship between the serving leadership of lecturers and the work productivity of students. It would be better for lecturers to be more nurturing, inspiring and motivating for students. Keywords: Transformasional Leadership, Work Productivity, Nursing Students  ABSTRAK Kepemimpinan transformasional dosen memiliki peran penting dalam mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja mahasiswa di berbagai bidang studi, termasuk studi keperawatan. pendekatan kepemimpinan ini diperlukan dalam mendukung pembelajaran dan pengembangan mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dosen dengan produktivitas kerja mahasiswa keperawatan. Dengan memahami dinamika dan pengaruh dari jenis kepemimpinan ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produktivitas kerja mahasiswa keperawatan. Diketahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap produktivitas kerja mahasiswa keperawatan di universitas malahayati Kota Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dimana rancangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa keperawatas universitas malahayati, dengan sampel berjumlah 123 responden. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah Simple Random  Sampling. Pada penelitian ini hasil analisis menunjukan sebagian besar kepemimpinan dosen tidak transformasional, dan Sebagian besar mahasiswa keperawatan tidak produktif, p-value 0,001 (<0,05) yang berarti ada hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional dosen terhadap produktivitas kerja mahasiswa.  Sebaiknya untuk dosen lebih mengayomi, mengispirasi serta memotivasi mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Produktivtas Kerja, Mahasiswa Keperawatan

Abstract

ABSTRAK Spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) merupakan salah satu teknik pengobatan alternatif yang telah cukup lama dikenal. Teknik ini merupakan pengembangan dari teknik lain yang diperkenalkan oleh anak bangsa. SEFT termasuk tehnik relaksasi, merupakan salah satu bentuk pengobatan alternatif yang lebih mudah dan aman dibandingkan akupuntur dan akupresur. Karena sifatnya yang mudah dan murah maka penyebarluasan teknik ini lebih mudah untuk dilakukan, salah satunya pada warga Dusun GG. salak II, kemiling permai, kec,kemiling permai, kab. bandar lampung. Warga Dusun GG. salak II, kemiling permai, kec,kemiling permai, kab. bandar lampung yang telah memperoleh informasi tentang metode ini dapat menggunakannya sebagai pengobatan alternatif dan terapi SEFT (spiritual emotional freedom technique) adalah terapi dengan menggunakan gerakan sederhana yang dilakukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah permasalahan sakit fisik maupun psikis, meningkatkan kinerja dan prestasi, meraih kedamaian dan prestasi serta kebermaknaan hidup. Kata Kunci: SEFT,Terapi SEFT, Stroke  ABSTRACT Spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) is an alternative medicine technique that has been known for a long time. Abstract

ABSTRAK Di Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2019 jumlah anak dengan demam sebesar 36%. Prevalensi demam bervariasi menurut umur, anak umur 6-23 bulan lebih rentan mengalami demam (37-39%) dibandingkan anak lainnya. Prevalensi demam tidak berbeda banyak menurut jenis kelamin dan tempat tinggal. Prevalensi demam pada anak laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan (32% dan 30%). Hasil wawancara yang dilakukan di Desa Waygalih, Tanjung Bintang – Lampung Selatan pada 10 orang tua yang anaknya mengalami kejang demam didapatkan informasi bahwa semua anak mengalami kejang demam pertama di rumah. 7 orang tua (70%)  mengatakan tidak tahu penyebab terjadinya kejang demam. Kejang demam dapat menimbulkan komplikasi serius terhadap perkembangan otak anak apabila terjadi secara berulang kali ditambah resiko bahaya lain yaitu tersedak. Memberikan pendidikan kesehatan pengatahuan keluarga pada kejang demam pada balita Desa Waygalih, Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang, Lampung Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif, Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian the one group pre test and post test. Dilakukan pengukuran atau observasi mengenai pengetahuan keluarga terhadap masalah kejang demam pada anak – anak di desa waygalih, tanjung bintnag tahun 2023 dengan pre test and post test tujuan nya untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan keluarga terhadap masalah kejang demam pada anak. Setelah dilkakukan pendidikan kesehatan tentang kejang demam pada anak balita, sebagian besar responden (50 %) yaitu sebanyak 10 responden memiliki pengetahuan baik  tentang kejang demam pada anak, sebanyak 35% yaitu sebanyak 7 responden memiliki pengetahuan sedang dan sebanyak 3 res ponden (15 %) memeiliki pengetahuan kurang. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini bahan kajian lebih lanjut bagi peneliti selanjutnya mengenai hal yang sama secara lebih mendalam dan dapat menambah jumlah responden, serta mengunakan metodelogi penelitian yang berbeda. Kata Kunci: Kejang Demam, Pengetahuan, Pendidikan Kesehatan  ABSTRACT In Lampung Province in 2019 the number of children with fever is 36%. Febrile seizures can cause serious complications to a child's brain development if they occur repeatedly plus another hazard risk, namely choking. Provide health education on family knowledge on febrile seizures in toddlers in Waygalih Village, Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung. This type of research uses descriptive research. This research uses the one group pre-test and post-test research design. Measurements or observations were made regarding family knowledge of the problem of febrile seizures in children in Waygalih Village, Tanjung Bintnag in 2023 with a pre test and post test. The aim was to analyze the effect of family health education on the problem of febrile seizures in children. After conducting health education about febrile seizures in toddlers, most of the respondents (50%), namely 10 respondents, had good knowledge about febrile seizures in children, as many as 35%, namely 7 respondents had moderate knowledge and as many as 3 respondents (15 %) have less knowledge. It is hoped that the results of this study will be material for further study for future researchers regarding the same matter in more depth and can increase the number of respondents, and use a different research methodology. Keywords: Fever Convulsions, Knowledge, Health Education

Abstract

Background: Aging is a natural process that causes a decline in physical and cognitive function in older adults, such as impaired balance, vision, hearing, and muscle strength, which increases the risk of falls. Falls in older adults can have serious consequences, including injury, disability, and even death. Activities of daily living (ADL) are an important indicator for assessing the level of independence in older adults, which can influence the risk of falls. Purpose: To determine the relationship between independence in daily activities and the risk of falls in older adults. Method: This quantitative study used an observational cross-sectional design. The sample size for this study was 138 respondents, drawn using a random sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, and the results were tested using the chi-square statistical test. Results: Statistical tests using SPSS yielded a p-value of 0.008 with an odds ratio of 2.9. Conclusion: There is a relationship between independence in daily activities and the risk of falls in older adults.   Keywords: Elderly; Fall Risk; Independence.   Pendahuluan: Penuaan merupakan proses alami yang menyebabkan penurunan fungsi fisik dan kognitif pada lansia, seperti gangguan keseimbangan, penglihatan, pendengaran, dan kekuatan otot yang berisiko meningkatkan kejadian jatuh. Jatuh pada lansia dapat menimbulkan dampak serius seperti cedera, kecacatan, hingga kematian. Aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari (ADL) menjadi salah satu indikator penting untuk menilai tingkat kemandirian lansia yang dapat memengaruhi risiko jatuh. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui  hubungan kemandirian dalam aktivitas sehari hari dengan resiko jatuh pada lanjut usia . Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain observasional melalui pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 138 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan hasil penelitian ini diuji dengan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil: Uji statistic menggunakan SPSS didapatkan p-value sebesar 0.008 dengan Odd Ratio sebesar 2.9. Simpulan: Ada hubungan kemandirian dalam aktivitas sehari hari dengan resiko jatuh pada lanjut usia.   Kata Kunci: Kemandirian; Lanjut Usia; Resiko Jatuh.

Abstract

Background: Floods pose a significant threat to family safety. Integrated time management plays a crucial role in improving family preparedness. Education on effective time management in emergency situations is expected to improve family preparedness and safety. Purpose: To analyze the relationship between integrated time management and family safety in the face of flood disasters. Method: This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design to measure family knowledge and skills before and after the educational intervention. The research instrument was a questionnaire adapted from the National Disaster Preparedness Guidebook (BNPB). The study population consisted of 277 individuals, with a sample size of 30 individuals aged 17 years and older living along the Kaliawi River. Results: A paired-sample t-test showed a significant difference between pre-test (22.73) and post-test (37.47) scores with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: Integrated time management is significantly associated with family safety during flood disasters. Education is effective in improving preparedness and reducing disaster risk.   Keywords: Disaster Preparedness; Family Safety; Flood; Integrated Time Management.   Pendahuluan: Bencana banjir merupakan ancaman yang cukup besar terhadap keselamatan keluarga. Manajemen waktu yang terpadu memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan keluarga. Pendidikan mengenai manajemen waktu yang efektif dalam situasi darurat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dan keselamatan keluarga. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis hubungan antara manajemen waktu terpadu dengan keselamatan keluarga dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan keterampilan keluarga sebelum dan sesudah intervensi pendidikan. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang diadaptasi dari buku panduan kesiapsiagaan bencana BNPB. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 277 orang dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang yang berusia ≥17 tahun yang tinggal di sepanjang Sungai Kaliawi. Hasil: Uji t sampel berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor pra-tes (22.73) dan pasca-tes (37.47) dengan nilai p sebesar 0.000 (<0.05). Simpulan: Manajemen waktu terpadu berhubungan signifikan dengan keselamatan keluarga selama bencana banjir. Pendidikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dan mengurangi risiko bencana.   Kata Kunci: Banjir; Keselamatan Keluarga; Kesiapsiagaan Bencana; Manajemen Waktu Terintegrasi.

Abstract

Background: In North Lampung, the incidence of febrile seizures in children reached 110 cases in 2023. At the Ketapang Community Health Center, there were 23 cases, while in Gedung Ketapang Village, there were 8 cases. Of these, 100% of families in Gedung Ketapang Village were unaware of the home-based management of febrile seizures. Therefore, it is necessary to improve family knowledge regarding the management of febrile seizures in children. Purpose: To determine the effect of providing educational materials using video media on family knowledge in emergency management of febrile seizures. Method: Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design, one group pre-test-post-test. The population was all families with children aged 0-5 years in Gedung Ketapang Village, totaling 76 children. The sample size was determined using 40 respondents using simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire, and the statistical test used was the t-test. Results: The average pre-test knowledge score was 7.03 and the average post-test knowledge score was 15.55. The t-test results obtained a p-value of 0.0001. Conclusion: There is an effect of providing education using video media on family knowledge in emergency management of febrile seizures in children with a p-value of 0.0001.   Keywords: Education; Febrile Seizures; Video Media.   Pendahuluan: Lampung Utara angka kejadian kejang demam pada anak tahun 2023 mencapai 110 kasus dan pada Puskesmas Ketapang terdapat 23 kasus kejang demam sedangkan di Desa Gedung Ketapang terdapat 8 kasus kejang demam dan 100% tersebut keluarga di Desa Gedung Ketapang belum mengetahui tentang kejang demam terkait penanganan di rumah. Maka dari itu perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga dalam penanganan kejang demam pada anak. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi menggunakan media  video terhadap pengetahuan keluarga dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan kejang demam. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen one group Pre-test – Post-test dengan populasi adalah seluruh keluarga yang mempunyai anak umur 0-5 tahun yang berada di Desa Gedung Ketapang yang berjumlah 76 anak. Penetapan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan sebanyak 40 responden dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner dan uji statistic yang digunakan  uji t test. Hasil: Rata-rata nilai pengetahuan pre test sebesar 7.03 dan rata-rata nilai pengetahuan post test sebesar 15.55. Hasil Uji t-test diperoleh p value 0.0001. Simpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian edukasi menggunakan media video terhadap pengetahuan keluarga dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan kejang demam pada anak dengan p value 0.0001.   Kata Kunci: Edukasi; Kejang Demam; Media Video.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Individu pada masa dewasa awal menghadapi berbagai tuntutan perkembangan seperti kemandirian emosional, sosial, dan finansial yang memerlukan kemampuan manajemen waktu yang baik. Namun, banyak individu pada tahap ini mengalami kecenderungan prokrastinasi yang berdampak negatif terhadap produktivitas dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan manajemen waktu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengatur waktu pada mahasiswa usia 18–21 tahun. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif dan experiential learning yang terdiri atas lima sesi: pengantar, penetapan tujuan, teknik manajemen waktu, kontrol diri, dan penutup. Peserta berjumlah 15 mahasiswa semester 1–3 Universitas Malahayati. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner manajemen waktu sebanyak 33 pernyataan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil paired samples statistics menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rerata skor dari 97,92 menjadi 99,54, meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik (t = -0,586; p = 0,569 0,05). Korelasi antara skor pre dan post-test cukup kuat (r = 0,668; p = 0,012). Secara kualitatif, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan, kesadaran diri, dan kemampuan penerapan strategi pengelolaan waktu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan manajemen waktu pada mahasiswa dewasa awal, serta berpotensi mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi melalui penguatan regulasi diri. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Waktu, Prokrastinasi, Efikasi Diri, Dewasa Awal, Mahasiswa.  ABSTRACT Individuals in early adulthood face various developmental demands, including emotional, social, and financial independence, which require effective time management skills. However, many at this stage tend to procrastinate, negatively affecting their productivity and psychological well-being. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of time management training in improving students’ ability to manage time effectively. The training employed a participatory and experiential learning approach consisting of five sessions: introduction, goal setting, time management techniques, self-control, and closing. Participants included 15 undergraduate students aged 18–21 from Malahayati University. Data were collected using a 33-item time management questionnaire administered in pre-test and post-test sessions. The paired samples analysis showed an increase in mean scores from 97.92 to 99.54, although the improvement was not statistically significant (t = -0.586; p = 0.569 0.05). The correlation between pre- and post-test scores was moderately strong (r = 0.668; p = 0.012). Qualitative findings revealed increased engagement, self-awareness, and practical application of time management strategies in daily life. Therefore, the program was effective in enhancing time management awareness and skills among early adults, potentially reducing procrastination through strengthened self-regulation. Keywords: Time Management, Procrastination, Self-Efficacy, Early Adulthood, University Students.

Abstract

The urgency was in developing a more holistic and sustainable approach to supporting type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Calgary Family Intervention Model (CFIM) in improving dietary adherence and knowledge in patients with T2DM. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, involving 280 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Bolo Community Health Center from January to October 2025. The sample was divided into two groups: intervention (CFIM education) and control (booklet). Data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire to measure knowledge and dietary adherence. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The analysis showed significant results, with the mean knowledge score in the intervention group increasing from 4.84±1.235 to 8.98±2.851 (p < 0.05), while in the control group, it increased from 4.64±1.120 to 7.06±1.219. For dietary adherence, the intervention group showed an increase from 27.00±6.518 to 61.38±7.171 (p = 0.000), compared to the control group, which increased from 27.28±5.592 to 49.44±10.194(p < 0.05). The implications of these results have the potential to strengthen the family-based health intervention model and improve the overall well-being of T2DM patients. This study contributes significantly to family nursing practice by demonstrating the efficacy of the CFIM in enhancing dietary adherence and knowledge among patients with T2DM.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bencana merupakan suatu ancaman yang sifatnya tidak terduga, merugikan dan sulit dihindari. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam kesiapgiagaan bencana alam di perum harmonia estate hajimena natar perlu dilakukan, mengingat daerah ini memiliki tingkat kerawanan tinggi terhadap terjadinya bencana terutama bencana banjir yang sudah melanda daerah ini beberapa bulan terakhir ini, dan tentunya gempa bumi tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadi karena lampung mempunyai gunung api yang aktif dan berpotensi. Peristiwa tersebut memicu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, sebagai respon cepat dan efektif dalam upaya percepatan pemulihan situasi tanggap daruarat. Tujuan pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi dan banjir di perum harmonia estate hajimena natar. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu melalui (1) Survey melalui pengamatan, wawancara, (2) Kajian literatur, (3) Penyuluhan dan simulasi tanggap bencana, (4) Pre test and post test. Hasil dari program ini adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana serta dapat melatih pengendalian diri dari rasa takut bencana untuk dapat mengurangi korban bencana, Program ini pun diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi masyarakat informasi dan keterampilan dalam kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Kesiapsiagaan Bencana.  ABSTRACT Disaster is a threat that is unexpected, detrimental and difficult to avoid. Community empowerment in natural disaster preparedness at perum harmonia estate hajimena natar needs to be done, considering that this area has a high level of vulnerability to disaster, especially floods which have hit this area in the last few months, and of course earthquakes do not rule out the possibility of them occurring because lampung has mountains active and potential fires. This incident triaggered community service activities, as a quick and effective response in an effort to accelerate recovery from the emergency response situation. The aim of community empowerment is to increase the community’s ability to face earthquake and flood disaster at perum harmonia estate hajimena natar. The method for implementing this service is through (1) Survery throught pbservation, interviews, (2) literature review, (3) Disaster response counseling and simulation, (4) Pre test dan post test. The result of this program is increasing people’s knowledge and skills regarding disaster preparedness and being able to train themselves to control themselves from fear of disasters in order to reduca disaster victims. This program is also ecpected to be able to facilitate the community’s information and skills in disaster preparedness.Keywords: Community Empowerment, Disater Preparedness.
