Abstract

Penduduk di negara berkembang masih mengandalkan pengobatan tradisional yang berasal dari tumbuhan untuk menjaga kesehatan. Terlebih di negara Indonesia yang memiliki banyak keragaman flora, yang dapat menjadi potensi pasar produk herbal yang  menjanjikan. Di Indonesia sendiri, masyarakat masih memanfaatkan obat tradisional untuk menjaga kesehatan, karena minimnya atau tidak adanya efek samping yang dihasilkan. Salah satu sediaan herbal dari pengobatan tradisional yang potensial ialah sediaan teh herbal. Teh herbal merupakan sediaan teh yang dibuat dari tanaman selain dari tanaman  camellia sinensis (tanaman teh).  Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, desa Tratebang memiliki kebun herbal yang potensial untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sediaan teh herbal. Akan tetapi pemanfaatan kebun herbal masih kurang optimal hanya sebatas direbus saja. Melalui permasalahan tersebut perlu adanya pelatihan berupa pemberian informasi, pengetahuan, proses pengolahan tanaman herbal yang tepat, dan pendampingan untuk pengolahan sediaan teh herbal. Pelatihan telah dilakukan pada bulan April 2025 dengan sasaran ibu-ibu PKK desa Tratebang kecamatan Wonokerto kabupaten Pekalongan. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu berbentuk penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan teh herbal kepada masyarakat. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dari para peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat berkaitan dengan pengelolaan tanaman obat berupa jahe, rosela dan serai menjadi teh herbal. Hal tersebut ditunjukan dari peningkatan nilai pre-test dan post-test. Untuk memberikan dampak berkelanjutan, pelatihan ini perlu didukung oleh pendampingan lanjutan terkait pengemasan, pemasaran digital, dan manajemen usaha kecil, serta kerja sama berkesinambungan antara mitra desa dan perguruan tinggi guna mendorong inovasi produk teh herbal dan pembentukan kelompok usaha bersama (KUB) yang berdaya saing dan bernilai ekonomi.

Abstract

In Cepagan Village, Warungasem District, Batang Regency, there are many stems of basil plants found around the yard. Basil leaves are known to have the benefit of helping lower blood pressure. From field observations, many people in the village have a history of hypertension. Apart from that, people don't know how to prepare basil leaf tea as an alternative to help lower blood pressure. The target of community service was chosen to be young people from youth organizations considering that there were no activities in the health sector and also based on teenagers' ability to grasp understanding more easily than the elderly. Given the problems and the abundant availability of natural materials, there is a need for community service in the area. This service aims to improve the health of the people of Cepagan Village through Karang Taruna youth by providing education to increase health understanding through drinking basil leaf tea to help reduce hypertension. Service is carried out by presenting material and interactive discussions. The number of service participants was 22 participants. The pretest and posttest describe participants' understanding before and after service. The evaluation results show that the pretest score (5-14%) increased on the posttest (91-100%). So it can be concluded that this community service was successful.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools, as educational institutions oriented to the needs of the community, need to adapt to social changes due to the development of the times and technology. This research aims to explore scientific development, institutional transformation, learning innovation, and transformation results in Nurul Haramaian NW Narmada Islamic Boarding School and Thohir Yasin Lendang Nangka Islamic Boarding School. A qualitative approach with field research methods was used to compare the two pesantren that seek to make social change through transformative education. The results of the study show that the development of science in the two pesantren includes a comprehensive methodology that is internalized in religious and general subjects, as well as extracurricular activities in Nurul Haramaian. The institutional transformation includes establishing formal and non-formal institutions and changes in education and curriculum management. Learning innovation involves the use of information technology and the development of learning methods that are by the character of the pesantren. From the results of the transformation, graduates of the two Islamic boarding schools showed comprehensive knowledge, skills, and good morals and had a positive impact on society, especially in economic and social aspects. This research emphasizes the importance of scientific development, institutional transformation, and educational innovation to maintain the existence of Islamic boarding schools as transformative institutions that contribute to social change.

Abstract

Development of a Drinking Water Management System (SPAM) is an important effort to meet the community's need for clean water. This study aims to determine the utilization of SPAM development for people who live on Jalan Medan-Binjai. The method used in this research is data collection through surveys, interviews, and field observations. The data obtained were analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the construction of a SPAM on Jalan Medan-Binjai provides significant benefits for the community. However, this study also identified several challenges in the utilization of SPAM on Jalan Medan-Binjai. These challenges include the lack of public awareness in maintaining cleanliness and efficient use of water, as well as coordination between the government and the community in optimizing SPAM utilization. Abstract

Religious education has to give contribution to form pluralistic attitude that appreciates the truth of other religions. The claim of being the only true religion by various religious followers may result in horrific conflicts. It is dangerous when religion is used to justify sadistic act in many conflicts. Therefore, religious education is very important to develop religiosity and to improve religious tolerance. As a social process, education is a mean of transferring religious values and knowledge to the religious followers that, in turn, form their religious attitudes. Consequently, if religion is learned exclusively, the output will be exclusive. Conversely, if religion is learned openly or inclusively, the output will be open-minded, it means they can understand the others. Pendidikan agama harus memberi kontribusi untuk membentuk pribadi pluralis yang menghargai kebenaran ajaran agama lain. Klaim pengkikut yang menyatakan agama mereka sebagai ajaran yang paling benar akan berakibat pada konflik besar. Sangat berbahaya jika agama digunakan untuk membenarkan perlakuan sadis di banyak konflik. Karenanya, pendidikan agama dirasa penting untuk membangun religiusitas dan menambah toleransi agama. Sebagai proses sosial, pendidikan adalah alat transfer nilai-nilai agama dan pengetahuan kepada pengikutnya yang pada akhirnya membentuk perilaku religius mereka. Akibatnya, jika agama dipelajari secara eksklusif maka hasilnya pun eksklusif. Sebaliknya, jika dipelajari secara terbuka atau inklusif maka akan menghasilkan pribadi yang open-minded, itu berarti mereka dapat memahami ajaran lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Hibryd Counseling Service (Islamic counselling) strategy to effectively prevent Quarter Life Crisis and prepare students who become agents of change for a better direction in college. Using interview, observation, and documentation methods, this study seeks to obtain data on the phenomenon of quarter-life crisis and the new approach. The data sources include critical stakeholders in the guidance and counselling laboratory. Data analysis was carried out through data transcription, coding, and categorization. The study results indicate that Islamic counselling is valuable in guiding individuals to overcome quarter-life crises by aligning psychological and spiritual aspects. Islamic counselling significantly contributes to helping individuals overcome quarter-life crises with a holistic approach involving spiritual, psychological, and social factors. Integrating Islamic values in counselling forms a solid framework to support young individuals facing life challenges. These findings provide important insights related to the effectiveness of the Islamic counselling approach in overcoming quarter-life crises through the integration of spiritual, psychological, and social values.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Islamic boarding school management based on strengthening a clean and healthy living culture to improve student's quality of life. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was carried out through observations, interviews and document analysis. Data analysis includes data collection activities, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests are used to check the data's validity. The results of this research conclude that Islamic boarding school management based on strengthening a culture of clean and healthy living is carried out through systemic stages and processes so that it can improve the quality of life of students and the image of the institution while breaking negative assumptions that are often associated with Islamic boarding school life as a shabby and dirty institution and able to change people's views and perceptions about Islamic boarding schools in a more positive direction. This research implies that Islamic boarding school management based on a culture of clean and healthy living not only improves students' quality of life but also the institution's image as a whole.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan terapi antibiotika kombinasi pada pasien pediatri dipertimbangkan dengan alasan untuk memperluas spektrum aktivitas terapi, mendapatkan sinergisme dan mencegah resistensi dimana penggunaan antibiotika kombinasi dengan mekanisme kerja yang berbeda efektif dalam pencegahan resistensi. Pemakaian antibiotika kombinasi cefotaxim- thiamfenikol pada pasien pediatri penderita demam tifoid di rawat inap di RSU Budi Rahayu sebanyak 50% pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan antibiotika kombinasi cefotaxim dan thiamfenikol pada pasien pediatri di RSU Budi Rahayu pada tahun 2016.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dan rancangan penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif retrospektif dengan mengolah data rekam medis pada pasien pediatri yang di rawat inap di RSU Budi Rahayu pada tahun 2016. Kata kunci   :   Antibiotika   kombinasi1, cefotaxim-thiamfenikol2,   pediatri,   demam   tifoid3
