Abstract

Pada abad ke-21, kemajuan dalam bidang sains dan teknologi mengalami kemajuan yang pesat. Pengembangan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK untuk merupakan salahsatu solusi untuk mengadapi abad ke-21 oleh karena itu Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas produk media pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK pada materi perkembangbiakan tumbuhan untuk siswa kelas VI SD agar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Brog and Gall yang terdiri 10 tahap, akan tetapi peneliti hanya mengambil 2 tahapan, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Media pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK diuji coba awal untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK menurut ahli materi 90,90% (sangat valid), dan ahli media 90,00 % (sangat valid), Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran IPA berbasis TIK dinyatakan (sangat valid) 90% digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa kelas VI SD.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SDN Sidomulyo 2 Tuban on the subject of cultural and religious differences through the use of pop-up books. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II, both in terms of grades and student and teacher activities. The pop-up book medium has proven to make learning more engaging and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the simultaneous effects of implementing the Mindful, Meaningful, and Joyful Learning (MMJ) approach integrated with the use of interactive multimedia based on information and communication technology (ICT) in enhancing elementary school students' collaboration skills and creativity, specifically at UPT SDN Kebonsari 1 Tuban. To achieve this objective, a quantitative research methodology was employed, enabling the collection of objective, systematic, and measurable data. The target population consisted of all 57 students enrolled at UPT SDN Kebonsari 1 Tuban. Since the total population was less than 100, a total sampling technique was applied, involving the entire population as research subjects to ensure full data representation. Primary data were collected using closed-ended questionnaires and structured observation sheets, designed to capture both students’ observable learning behaviors and their self-reported perceptions of the instructional process. All instruments were validated and tested for reliability prior to data analysis. The collected data were processed using SPSS software and analyzed with multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which the independent variables (MMJ approach and ICT-based multimedia) collectively influence the dependent variables (collaboration and creativity). Findings revealed that the application of the MMJ learning strategy, supported by interactive multimedia technologies, significantly contributes to fostering students’ ability to collaborate effectively and enhances their creative potential during learning activities. These results support the notion that engaging, meaningful, and context-aware instructional designs are not only capable of improving student learning outcomes but also align closely with the development of 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peta kognitif dalam ritual budaya Olah Tetanen masyarakat adat Genoharjo Kabupaten Tuban, melalui pendekatan antropologi kognitif yang dikemukakan oleh Ward Goodenough. Pendekatan tersebut memandang bahwa bahasa memiliki peran penting di dalam kebudayaan. Selain itu teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori etnografi yang dikemukakan oleh James P. Spradley (2007). Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode Alur Maju Bertahap (Development Research Of Sequency). Setelah dilakukan pengkajian dan pembahasan penelitian, sampai penulisan etnografis, peta kognisi masyarakat adat Genaharjo sebagai budaya kolektif dapat ditemukan simbol-simbol budaya yang tercermin dalam tingkah laku, bahasa, dan sastra setempat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangan yang berharga bagi masyarakat sebagai dasar alternatif pengembangan kearifan lokal yang berpijak pada pikiran-pikiran lokal. Selain itu, penelitian ini dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat, bahwa ritual yang masih dinilai sebagai hal-hal yang mistis, didalamnya menyimpan pengetahuan yang dapat dikembangkan ke ranah keilmuan.

Abstract

This study investigates the regulatory implications for the development of digital donation platforms in Indonesia, with a particular focus on Saweria, which is widely utilized by YouTube content creators. The advancement of digital technology has facilitated innovative fundraising through donation-based crowdfunding, yet it simultaneously generates potential risks of misuse. Employing a normative juridical research approach, this study examines the vulnerability of digital donation platforms—initially intended to serve as financial support mechanisms—to exploitation for unlawful purposes, notably the dissemination and promotion of online gambling activities. The findings indicate that although the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (ITE Law), particularly Article 27 paragraph (2) jo. Article 45 as amended by Law No. 1 of 2024, stipulates prohibitions on gambling-related content with sanctions of up to six years imprisonment and/or administrative fines of IDR 1 billion, its enforcement continues to encounter evidentiary and procedural constraints. The study emphasizes the necessity for more specific regulatory frameworks, enhanced platform security, increased awareness among content creators, and coordinated multi-stakeholder collaboration to develop adaptive safeguards against digital criminality.

Abstract

In the process of communication using the target language, EFL students usually have some problems to communicate their ideas. To cope with the problems they encounter, the students will try to use certain communication strategies so that their ideas can be clearly explained. This paper reports the results of the research on the communication strategies used by EFL students in their presentation. This study is designed as a qualitative research. The subjects of the study were  the seventh semester students representing more and less proficient students in their classes. The data are the communication strategies employed by the students when they had  oral presentation for Cross Cultural Understanding  course. The results of the research reveal that the more proficient students used eleven types of communication strategies and the less proficient students used thirteen types of communication strategies. Some interlingual strategies, code switching, appeal for help, and some non linguistic strategies were used by the students. It is also found that the more proficient students used more L2 based strategies, and L1 terms occurred in the language of all levels of proficiency. Despite the differences, the students need to be encouraged to use more compensatory strategies to achieve their communication goal.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of an interactive website based on problem-based learning (PBL) in improving students' higher-order thinking skills. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, with a single group pretest-posttest design with a sample of 27 children in class VB at UPT SD Negeri Manjung. Data collection techniques were conducted through written tests, and the data collection process was carried out using instruments in accordance with the indicators of the higher-order thinking variable. The data analysis technique used was a normality test and a t-test using SPSS 25 software. Effectiveness was calculated using normalised N-Gain analysis. The results showed that (1) the paired t-test analysis of higher-order thinking skills data yielded a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 with α = 0.05, indicating that the treatment had a significant effect on students' higher-order thinking skills. (2) The average N-Gain score for higher-order thinking skills was 0.58, which falls into the ‘Moderate’ category with the criterion ‘sufficiently effective’. Overall, this study concludes that the use of interactive PBL-based website media can improve the higher-order thinking skills of primary school students.
