Abstract

Kompetensi bahasa adalah model yang mempersiapkan siswa untuk berkomunikasi dengan bahasa fungsional. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah metode pembelajaran, penyelenggara pendidikan dan kemampuan pengalihan siswa. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka kompetensi bahasa Inggris tujuan dapat dicapai tetapi belum optimal. Game pendidikan sebagai bentuk media pembelajaran memiliki konten yang secara tidak langsung dapat mengambil pemain ke dalam proses komunikasi. Desain game pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan wacana kompetensi menampilkan representasi dari kondisi sosial di dunia nyata dan kemudian diadaptasi dalam bentuk virtual. Dengan menggunakan input suara sebagai pengendali utama, pemain diharapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mereka, termasuk mendengar, berbicara, dan membaca dalam konteks sosio-kultural seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam permainan. Language competence is a model that prepares students to communicate with the functional language. The problems that arise are the methods of learning, education providers and the ability diversion of the students. From these problems then the objective English language competence can be achieved but not yet optimal. Educational games as a form of learning media have a content that may indirectly take the players into a communication process. The design of educational games using discourse competence approach displays representations of social conditions in the real world and then adapted in virtual form. By using sound input as main controllers, players are expected to improve their communication skills, include listening, speaking, and reading in the socio-cultural context as shown in the game.

Abstract

The demands and the need to be able to learn various cutting-edge techniques and media in the creation of visual arts, require students to be able to absorb a number of information combined with an intuitive understanding of things that are relevant in every situation. Amidst the COVID-19 global pandemic, various virtual learning communities initiated a trend of visual arts learning. This study aims to reveal the online Community of Inquiry (hereinafter, CoI) learning model that takes place in virtual learning communities in Indonesia. The method of the investigation was a qualitative virtual ethnography approach involving 24 members from two virtual learning communities in Indonesia. Understanding their learning experience was achieved through interviews, participatory observation, and assessment of the participants’ artworks that had been produced during the learning process. Results revealed that the experience of creating visual arts through an online community of inquiry learning had had a positive impact on creation and appreciation activities. By studying how the visual arts learning process takes place in virtual learning communities, we can contribute to ensuring the success of the ongoing community of inquiry model for online learning and suggest comparable tactics to raise the standard of visual arts education online.

Abstract

Batik Rifa’iyah menjadi salah satu batik yang mempertahankan nilai-nilai tradisi dan budaya, salah satunya dengan melantunkan syair dalam proses membatik. Nilai-nilai dalam budaya batik Rifa’iyah membuatnya bertahan di tengah persaingan industri tekstil. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkap manajemen konservasi budaya, oleh Komunitas Pembatik Rifa’iyah di Desa Kalipucang Wetan Kabupaten Batang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan model studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif, dengan tahap; reduksi, sajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan manajemen konservasi budaya batik Rifa’iyah dilakukan dengan menerapkan prinsip konservasi (save, study, use) melalui fungsi manajemen POAC. Manfaat penelitian dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam upaya konservasi budaya batik di daerah lain.

Abstract

Postmodernisme lahir sebagai bentuk dan respon persinggungan, perlawanan dan penolakan terhadap tradisi pengetahuan modern Eropa yang identik dengan rasionalitas, terukur, keseragaman, fungsional, kontinuitas dan efisien. Pemahaman postmodernisme telah mempengaruhi tidak hanya cara berpikir dalam melihat peristiwa kekinian dalam masyarakat namun juga dalam bertindak secara “sublime” di segala aspek kehidupan manusia seperti sosial, ekonomi, budaya, dan pendidikan (seni). Wacana bertemunya teori-teori postmodernisme dengan pendidikan (seni) ataupun sebaliknya dewasa ini menjadi diskursus panjang di atas meja besar “after globalisasi” walaupun topik ini minim dibicarakan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak dan implikasi wacana dekonstruksi - postmodernisme dalam pendidikan (seni) di Indonesia terhadap proses kreatif artistik dan pembelajaran seni kontemporer di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan hermeneutika radikal dengan pendekatan interdisiplin melalui kajian pustaka terhadap wacana dekonstruksi- postmodernisme dan implikasinya terhadap karya seni kontemporer siswa dan kajian semiotik visual kontemporer terhadap dokumen pictorial dan audio visual artistik karya seni kontemporer peserta didik. Wacana dekonstruksi dalam postmodernisme membawa dampak dan implikasi yang positif dan luas terhadap proses kreatif artistik dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kontemporer pendidikan seni di sekolah khususnya pada aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi dan komunikasi (C4) peserta didik. Abstract

Deconstruction is viewed as a new and radical perspective in understanding texts or current events and has broad and challenging implications for changing perspectives in education and educational management, aiming to enhance stronger critical and creative thinking skills for participants. Learner-centered education has become an open trend in contemporary education in Indonesia, particularly in the digital-based social, era 5.0. The adaptation of deconstruction in differentiated learning model presents both opportunities and challenges in developing critical and creative thinking, fostering collaboration, and strengthening communication skills while also considering the needs of individual learners. This study examines and analyzes the adaptation of deconstruction to the differentiated learning model as a manifestation of independent learning. It employs a radical hermeneutic qualitative research approach, conducting an in-depth literature review on the various forms of deconstruction adaptation that can be applied in differentiated learning. The adaptation of deconstruction allows educators not only to address the diverse needs of individual learners but also opens up greater opportunities to build critical and creative thinking, collaboration, communication skills. Learners become individuals with strong and sharp critical thinking skills who continuously offer new ideas and concepts in response to changes and events in their surroundings, becoming part of the solution to problems. This research are expected to assist educators in discovering and determining new, more dynamic formulas in teaching and learning in schools such as concept, metode, approach, evaluation in teaching, and ultimately fostering learners' critical thinking abilities by prioritizing a deconstructive perspective.

Abstract

Bantengan art, as part of East Javanese traditional culture, not only functions as entertainment, but also as a medium for social and ideological expression that is full of symbolic meaning. This research aims to analyze the relationship between Bantengan art and the ideology of freedom, with a focus on the Merdeka Banteng Dance as a representation of the spirit of freedom. The Merdeka Bantengan. Dance, one of the important elements in this art, is often associated with the spirit of resistance and freedom. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with artists and cultural figures, as well as studying related literature. The analysis was carried out using thematic analysis and semiology methods to understand the symbolism contained in dance movements, costumes and music. The research results show that the Merdeka Bantengan Dance reflects the ideology of freedom through the use of the Bantengan symbol as a representation of strength and resistance to oppression. Through cultural and ideological meaning, the Merdeka Banteng Dance becomes a means of communication and expression of the spirit of freedom that is rooted in Bantengan art. This research provides new insight into how traditional art can function as a mirror of ideology and become a means of social expression in society.   Kesenian Bantengan, sebagai bagian dari budaya tradisional Jawa Timur, tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media ekspresi sosial dan ideologis yang sarat makna simbolis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kesenian Bantengan dengan ideologi kebebasan, dengan fokus pada Tari Banteng Merdeka sebagai representasi spirit kebebasan. Tari Banteng Merdeka, salah satu elemen penting dalam kesenian ini, sering diasosiasikan dengan semangat perlawanan dan kebebasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan para pelaku kesenian dan budayawan, serta studi literatur terkait. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis tematik dan semiologi untuk memahami simbolisme yang terkandung dalam gerakan tari, kostum, dan musik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tari Banteng Merdeka merefleksikan ideologi kebebasan melalui penggunaan simbol banteng sebagai representasi kekuatan dan perlawanan terhadap penindasan. Melalui pemaknaan budaya dan ideologis, Tari Banteng Merdeka menjadi sarana komunikasi dan ekspresi dari semangat kebebasan yang mengakar dalam kesenian Bantengan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai bagaimana seni tradisional dapat berfungsi sebagai cermin ideologi dan menjadi alat ekspresi sosial dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

Guru-guru di MTs dan MA Tahfidh Putri Yanbu’ul Qur’an 2 Muria Kabupaten Kudus sebagian besar belum mengenal tentang pendekatan ethno-science dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Guru juga belum pernah merancang dan melakukan PTK, terlebih yang mengintegrasikan dengan pendekatan ethno-science. Padahal, pendekatan ethno-science mampu memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di kelas dengan membekali siswa dengan keterampilan abad 21. Selain itu, mampu merancang dan melaksanakan PTK adalah satu dari kriteria professionalisme guru dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan guru-guru untuk merancang PTK berbasis ethno-science bagi guru-guru MTs dan MA Tahfidh Putri Yanbu’ul Qur’an 2 Muria Kabupaten Kudus. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan pakar-pakar penelitian kependidikan baik bidang saintek maupun soshum. Kegiatan dibagi dalam tiga tahap yaitu seminar, workshop (pendampingan) dan umpan-balik. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari khalayak sasaran dilihat dari kuisionaer yang diisi oleh peserta. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru-guru di MTs dan MA Tahfidh Putri Yanbu’ul Qur’an 2 Muria Kabupaten Kudus untuk dapat melakukan perbaikan proses pembelajaran selain meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka sebagai tenaga pendidik di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

The gap between hopes in developing the Al-Baghdadi studio and the policies made do not yet have equality. In the process of building a studio, it is important to create a strong foundation strategy, two of which are management and the pentahelix. In fact, the founder of the studio still doesn't know the foundation of management and the concept of the penta-helix. Previous research focused on work analysis, while this research focuses on management and the pentahelix. The aim of the research is to examine the scope of management and pentahelix of the Al-Baghdadi studio. The research was carried out in 2 locations, namely the cities of Medan and Deli Serdang. The research took place for 5 months from October-December 2021 then April-May 2023. The method used was qualitative with a case study design, data collection included participant observation, interviews and document searches, as well as data analysis techniques using data triangulation. Results of the study: 1) The Al-Baghdadi calligraphy studio only has 3 of the 8 scopes of management, namely: curriculum management which is limited to teaching with a hidden curriculum, management of students by carrying out field observation activities in competitions, and management of facilities and infrastructure in the form of study rooms as well as acrylic paint; 2) Pentahelix, Al-Baghdadi studio has collaborated on the 4 pillars of Pentahelix which have been successfully recorded, namely: academics since 2021-2023, community since 2023, government from the chairman of IKAPDA in 2019 in the form of appreciation by giving dowries for works of art, and mass media including newspapers in 2017 and television channels in 2018. This has direct implications for the studio leadership to prepare strategic decisions in building the studio, where previously the leadership was still taboo and did not know the situation of the studio.Keywords: Calligraphy, Management, Pentahelix.AbstrakKesenjangan antara harapan dalam menumbuh kembangkan sanggar Al-Baghdadi yang terhadap kebijakan yang dibuat belum memiliki kesetaraan. Seharusnya dalam proses pembangunan sanggar, penting untuk membuat strategi pondasi dengan kuat, dua di antaranya adalah manajemen dan pentahelix. Faktanya, pendiri sanggar masih belum mengetahui pondasi manajemen dan konsep pentahelix. Penelitian terdahulu berfokus pada analisis karya, sedangkan penelitian ini berfokus pada manajemen dan pentahelix. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji ruang lingkup manajemen dan pentahelix sanggar Al-Baghdadi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 lokasi, yaitu kota Medan dan Deli Serdang. Penelitian berlangsung selama 5 bulan sejak Oktober-Desember 2021 kemudian April-Mei 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, pengumpulan data meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan penelusuran dokumen, serta teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil pengkajian: 1) Sanggar kaligrafi Al-Baghdadi hanya memiliki 3 dari 8 ruang lingkup manajemen yaitu: manajemen kurikulum yang terbatas pada pengajaran dengan kurikulum tersembunyi, manajemen peserta didik dengan melakukan aktivitas pengamatan lapangan dalam berkompetisi, dan manajemen sarana juga prasarana dalam bentuk ruang belajar serta cat acrylic; 2) Pentahelix, sanggar Al-Baghdadi telah berkolaborasi pada 4 pilar dari Pentahelix yang berhasil terekam yakni: akademisi sejak tahun 2021-2023, komunitas sejak tahun 2023, pemerintah dari ketua IKAPDA tahun 2019 dalam bentuk apresiasi dengan memberi mahar pada karya seni, dan media massa meliputi surat kabar tahun 2017 serta saluran televisi tahun 2018. Abstract

The learning of Art Music in Junior High School can be conducted in various ways, one of which is the use of innovative media. One of these innovative media is Perfect Ear as an Android application used to train aural skills and musical taste in a person who is eager to learn about music theory, specifically rhythmic training. Perfect Ear has been widely played and uploaded by a large number of people. This study aims to measure the effect of Perfect Ear on students' learning concentration level. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research with a Quantitative approach and using statistical analysis (SPSS). The results showed that the independent variables X1: Game Based Learning, X2: Perfect Ear, and X3: Reading rhythmic notation have a correlation with each other on the dependent variable Y: Learning Concentration. Here are the research results: 1) Game Based Learning is 95% proven to significantly affect the level of learning concentration, 2) Perfect Ear is also proven by 95% in influencing the level of concentration, 3) Reading rhythmic notation has no influence on the level of learning concentration, but 4) Game Based Learning, Perfect Ear, and reading rhythmic notation have a 95% influence on the level of learning concentration when they are combined. And in the final measurement, the R Squared value is 31.80%, which means that the total percentage of the effectiveness of the independent variables (X1, X2, X3) on the dependent variable (Y) is smaller than the total percentage derived from other independent variables

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has revolutionized the field of visual arts, enabling ease of access, adaptation, and dissemination of artworks. However, this has also led to significant challenges, particularly plagiarism, which undermines the originality and ethical standards of creative processes. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework by integrating visual literacy and creative ethics as holistic approaches to prevent plagiarism in digital spaces, especially within art education. Through a literature review method, this research explores the interplay between visual literacyan essential skill for critically understanding and creating visual messages and creative ethics, which guide moral behavior in the artistic process. The findings emphasize the necessity of incorporating these two dimensions into art education curricula to build a more ethical, innovative, and responsible generation of creators. This study provides a theoretical foundation and practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and the creative community to address plagiarism challenges effectively in the digital era.
