Abstract

Usaha untuk menghilangkan logam berat merupakan suatu proses pengolahan air limbah yang sangat penting. Beberapa metode telah dilakukan baik dengan metode kimia maupun fisika, namun perlakuan secara biologi dianggap lebih murah dan aefektif.  Chlorella vulgaris merupakan salah satu jenis mikroalga yang mempunyai kemampuan menyerap dan menghilangkan logam berat seperti timbal (Pb) di air limbah.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh logam berat timbal (Pb) pada media pemeliharaan yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan bioakumulasinya pada C. vulgaris. . Metode eksperimen laboratorium dengan lima perlakuan konsentrasi logam berat timbal (Pb) pada media budidaya C vulgaris yang berbeda, yaitu 0, 25, 50, 75, dan 100 ppm. Setiap perlakuan dengan tiga ulanga. Mikroalga C. vulgaris dikultur selama 7 hari dan pada akhir penelitian kepadatannya dihitung dan kandungan Pbnya dianalisa dengan menggunakan Atomic Absorption SpectrophotometerHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi Pb pada media, semakin menghambat pertumbuhan C. vulgaris. C. vulgaris mampu mengakumulasi logam Pb dengan efisiensi penyerapannya sebesar 0,34% pada konsentrasi 100 ppm. Analisis varian memperlihatkan konsentrasi Pb memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (p<0,05) pada pertumbuhan, dan kemampuan akumulasi Pb pada C. vulgaris.  In the wastewater treatment process, the removal of heavy metals is very important. The process has applied various chemical and physical methods, and the biological method is believed to be the most efficient and cheapest.  Chlorella vulgaris is one species of microalgae that has ability to absorb and accumulate heavy metals such as lead (Pb). Chlorella can grow in extreme environments and withstand outside influences, better than other types of microalgae. This study aims to determine the influence of lead (Pb) in the culture media on the growth and bioaccumulation of C. vulgaris. The laboratory experiment method was applied with several Pb concentrations in the culture media of C. vulgaris, i.e. 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 ppm. The treatments were triplicated. The C. vulgaris was cultured for seven days, and in the end of the experiment, the density was counted, and the Pb was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer The results showed that the higher concentrations of Pb in the culture media gave the most inhibiting growth of C. vulgaris. C. vulgaris accumulate Pb at a concentration of 100 ppm in the culture media with an absorption efficiency of 0.34%. It revealed that the difference in Pb concentration give significant effect (p<0.05) on the growth and Pb accumulation capability of C. vulgaris.

Abstract

Information on the environmental characteristics of many sea cucumber habitat is limited, despite these species exhibiting rapid exploitation and may lead to depletion. The present study combined a survey on many seawaters and sediment characteristics of habitat valuable aspidochirote holothurian, Sea Ball Cucumber, Phyllophorus sp. to compare with location with no sea cucumber in Madura Strait, Indonesia. Data from detailed surveys were used to compare both locations with measures of physical and chemical seawater parameters including temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, phosphate, nitrate, ammonia, chlorophyll-a, total suspended solids, light transparency, and depth of water. The comparison was also carried out on physical and chemical parameters of surface sediment, i.e. phosphate, nitrate, ammonia, chlorophyll-a, grain size, total organic matter, and carbon-organic content. The data then were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U-Non Parametric Test with SPSS v. 16.  The result revealed that there were significant differences between sediment characteristics of Sea Ball Cucumber habitat and no Sea Ball cucumber location, but not for seawater. Seawater parameter value in Madura Strait showed in the range required for its life. This analyzes proved the importance of sediment characteristics for Phyllophorus sp. As benthic deposit feeders, they did not only utilize substrate underneath the body for its habitat but also primarily to supply their natural food.

Abstract

Rumah Sakit adalah salah satu sarana yang bertugas untuk meningkatkan upaya kesehatan. Pengelolaan obat yang efisien sangat menentukan keberhasilan dalam pelayanan kesehatan dan berpengaruh terhadap peran Rumah Sakit secara keseluruhan. Ditemukan adanya obat yang kosong dipelayanan farmasi dan seringnya permintaan pemesanan obat secara cito/segera kebagian pembelian/purchasing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam gambaran perencanaan yang dibuat di Rumah Sakit X Tangerang. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan Wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) kepada narasumber dibantu dengan pedoman wawancara yang dijadikan patokan dalam alur dan direkam dengan menggunakan tape recorder. Data yang terkait adalah sumber daya manusia, prosedur, dan metode perencanaan obat. Dokumen pada penelitian ini adalah data yang diperoleh dari laporan di Rumah Sakit X Tangerang dan data yang terkait dengan perencanaan obat. Hasil penelitian adalah belum ada apoteker yang bertanggung jawab dalam membuat perencanaan di Rumah Sakit X Tangerang. Di Rumah Sakit X perencanaan kebutuhan obat dilakukan oleh penanggung jawab gudang yaitu seorang tenaga teknis kefarmasian lulusan sarjana farmasi. Selain membuat perencanaan bagian gudang juga melayani penerimaan, penyimpanan dan pendistribusian obat.

Abstract

Namanereis sp. diklasifikasikan kedalam Famili Nereididae, Kelas Polychaeta. Penelitian tentang Polychaeta di Indonesia masih merupakan penelitian dasar yang meliputi taksonomi, ekologi serta struktur komunitas. Penelitian tentang kandungan nutrisi, pakan alami dan kandungan bahan aktif masih jarang dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan upaya penelitian tentang potensi antibakteri dari ekstrak Namanereis sp. dengan pelarut Etil Acetate. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri dari ekstrak Namanereis sp terhadap bakteri Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, dan Vibrio harveyi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah experiment laboratorium. Perlakukan konsentrasi ekstraksi Namanereis sp. Pada ekstrasi dengan pelarut etil acetate dipergunakan perbandingan 1:4. Bakteri yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah A. hydrophila, V. parahaemolyticus, dan V. harveyi yang diperoleh dari BBPAP Jepara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, zona hambatan tertinggi yang terbentuk untuk V. harvei pada konsentrasi 100% adalah sebesar 3.18 ± 0.33cm2, zona hambatan untuk A. hydrophila adalah 2,96 ± 0,45cm2 dan zona hambatan yang terbentuk untuk bakteri V. parahaemolyticus adalah 2,7 ± 0.91cm2. Penelitian ini menunjukkan ekstrasi Namaneries sp dengan menggunakan pelarut etil acetate dapat membentuk zona hambatan untuk setiap perlakukan konsentrasi ekstrak Namanereis sp yang diberikan (6,25, 12,5. 25, 50 dan 100%).

Abstract

Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Pulau Pieh, Sumatera Barat memiliki produktivitas primer yang tinggi dan menandakan kesuburan perairan. Salah satu indicator kesuburan perairan adalah kandungan klorofil-a dan suhu permukaan laut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan kandungan klorofil-a dan suhu permukaan laut terhadap kelimpahan ikan Cephalopholis argus dan Cephalopholis miniata. Periode waktu yang digunakan adalah tahun 2019 – 2023. Data klorofil-a dan suhu permukaan laut diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGIS 10.8 dan hubungan antar variable dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hubungan Cephalopholis miniata dengan suhu permukaan laut linier dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,044. Akan tetapi hubungan antar variable lainnya tidak signifikan secara statistik karena memiliki nilai > 0,05. The Pieh Island Marine Conservation Area, West Sumatra has high primary productivity and indicates the fertility of the waters. One of  indicators of water fertility is the chlorophyll-a content and sea surface temperature. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between chlorophyll-a content and sea surface temperature on fish abundance Cephalopholis argus and Cephalopholis miniate. The time period used is 2019 – 2023. Chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature data were processed using ArcGIS 10.8 software and the relationship between variables was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the relationship Cephalopholis miniate with linear sea surface temperature with a significance value <0.05, namely 0.044. However, the relationship between other variables is not statistically significant because it has a value > 0.05.

Abstract

Megabenthos termasuk biota laut yang hidup dengan menetap diatas substrat maupun membenamkan diri dalam substrat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membandingkan kelimpahan jenis megabenthos pada ekosistem lamun di Perairan Pulau Panjang dan Perairan Pantai Prawean Bandengan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dan penentuan stasiun menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data megabenthos dan lamun dilakukan di Perairan Pulau Panjang dan Perairan Pantai Prawean Bandengan secara purposive sampling dengan menggunakan metode line transect Panduan Monitoring Padang Lamun. Perairan Pulau Panjang ditemukan 11 jenis megabenthos dari 4 kelas (Bivalvia, Gastropoda, Holothuroidea, dan Echinoidea). Perairan Pantai Prawean Bandengan ditemukan 7 jenis dari 2 kelas (Bivalvia dan Gastropoda). Perairan Pulau Panjang mendapatkan kelimpahan total megabenthos sebesar 9,45-20,73 ind/m2 dengan kelimpahan jenis terbesar ditemukan pada Paphia undulata dan Diadema setosum dengan nilai 2,79 ind/m2, serta kelimpahan jenis terkecil ditemukan pada Canarium labiatum dengan nilai 0,61 ind/m2. Perairan Pantai Prawean Bandengan mendapatkan kelimpahan total megabenthos sebesar 5,45-11,39 ind/m2 dengan kelimpahan jenis terbesar ditemukan pada Cerithium traillii dengan nilai 3,15 ind/m2 dan kelimpahan jenis terkecil ditemukan pada Canarium labiatum dengan nilai 0,36 ind/m2. Tingginya kelimpahan megabenthos pada ekosistem lamun di Perairan Pulau Panjang dipengaruhi oleh jumlah megabenthos, parameter perairan, kandungan bahan organik, dan karakteristik substrat perairan.  Megabenthos includes marine biota that lives by staying on the substrate or immersing themselves in the substrate. This research was conducted with the aim of comparing the abundance of megabenthos species in seagrass ecosystems in Pulau Panjang and Prawean Bandengan waters. The research method used is observation and station determination using the purposive sampling method. Megabenthos and seagrass data were collected from Pulau Panjang and Prawean Bandengan waters using purposive sampling using the line transect method. Long Island waters found 11 species of megabenthos from 4 classes (Bivalvia, Gastropoda, Holothuroidea, and Echinoidea). Prawean Bandengan beach waters found 7 species from 2 classes (Bivalvia and Gastropods). Long Island waters had a total megabenthos abundance of 9.45–20.73 ind/m2, with the highest species abundance found in Paphia undulata and Diadema setosum with a value of 2.79 ind/m2, and the smallest species abundance found in Canarium labiatum with a value of 0.61 ind/m2. The waters of Prawean Bandengan Beach obtained a total megabenthos abundance of 5.45–11.39 ind/m2, with the largest species abundance found in Cerithium traillii with a value of 3.15 ind/m2 and the smallest species abundance found in Canarium labiatum with a value of 0.36 ind/m2. The high abundance of megabenthos in seagrass ecosystems in Pulau Panjang waters is influenced by the number of megabenthos, aquatic parameters, organic matter content, and characteristics of the aquatic substrate.

Abstract

The Delta Wulan waters are categorized as estuarine waters, which are greatly influenced by the sedimentation from the Wulan River and Serang River. Besides, the Delta Wulan Waters are vulnerable to the impact of pollution from anthropogenic waste. This research aims to examine the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a and water quality parameters in the Delta Wulan Waters. Samplings were carried out at 12 stations, which were located in the middle of the Delta Wulan waters. One liter of water samples was taken using a Niskin bottle. The water quality measurements were carried out in situ. The research revealed that the highest chlorophyll-a value was found at Station 11 (2.94 ug/L) in November 2023, and the lowest chlorophyll-a value was also found in November 2023 at Station 6 (0.01 ug/L). Meanwhile, in August 2023, the chlorophyll-a value was in the range of 0.53–8.02 µg/L. The observations in August and November showed that the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a was regular for stations 1 to 12 (dispersion index value < 1)

Abstract

There are several groups of organisms in zooplankton, including ciliates (Filum Ciliophora). Ciliates that live in the sea belong to the suborder tintininna or also often referred to as tintinnids. This study aims to determine the type and abundance and analyze the ecological index of the tintinnid community in Banggai Waters, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted at 35 stations on 1 – 14 September 2022 in the Banggai Waters, Central Sulawesi. The samples were taken by vertical method. The results showed that 9 families, 20 genera, and 35 tintinnid species were identified. The abundance of tintinnids in Banggai Waters has an average of 5763 cells/m3. Furthermore, the distribution pattern of total abundance at each station shows a clustered distribution pattern. The diversity of tintinnid abundance in Banggai Waters has an average of 2.15, classified as moderate. Tintinnid uniformity in Banggai Waters has an average of 0.63 classified as high. The dominance of tintinnids in Banggai Waters has an average of 0.17 classified as low category. The relationship between total abundance and diversity index shows a positive correlation. Meanwhile, the relationship between the abundance and evenness indices and the dominance indices shows a negative correlation.  The study's results suggest that the condition of the tintinnid community in Banggai Waters is stable. Filum Ciliophora (Ciliata) termasuk dalam kelompok mikrozooplankton.  Ciliata yang hidup di laut termasuk ke dalam subordo Tintininna atau juga sering disebut dengan tintinnid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis, kelimpahan, dan indeks ekologi dari komunitas tintinnid yang berada di Perairan Banggai, Sulawesi Tengah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada tanggal 1- 14 September  2022 di Perairan Sulawesi Tengah. Sampel  mikrozooplankton diambil secara vertikal pada 35 stasiun.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 9 famili, 20 genus, dan 35 spesies tintinnid yang teridentifikasi. Kelimpahan tintinnid di Perairan Banggai memiliki rata-rata sebesar 5763 sel/m3. Selanjutnya pola sebaran dari kelimpahan total di tiap stasiun menunjukkan pola sebaran mengelompok.  Kenekaragaman Kelimpahan tintinnid di Perairan Banggai memiliki rata-rata sebesar 2,15 tergolong kategori sedang.  Keseragaman tintinnid di Perairan Banggai memiliki rata-rata sebesar 0,63 tergolong kategori tinggi. .  Dominansi tintinnid di Perairan Banggai memiliki rata-rata sebesar 0,17 tergolong kategori rendah. Hubungan anatara kelimpahan total dengan indek keanekaragaman menjukkan korelasi positif. Sedangkan hunbungan antrara kelimpahan dengan indek keseragman dan  indek dominansi menjukkan adanya korelasi negatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi komunitas tintinnid di Perairan Banggai termasuk stabil.

Abstract

The decrease in seagrass coverage and ecosystem harm to seagrass meadows is an annual occurrence resulting from both natural and human activities.  Seagrass seeding has been deemed an effective restoration method, but its application is restricted by suboptimal environmental conditions and constraints associated with directly planting seagrass seeds in their natural habitat. The influence of environmental parameters, particularly nutrients, significantly affect on seagrass seed survival. NPK liquid fertilizer is commonly used in aquatic plants and is readily accessible in the market. It serves as a crucial source of macronutrients for seagrass. This study investigates the impact of different concentrations of NPK liquid fertilizer on the survival rate, growth, and chlorophyll, a content of E. acoroides seedlings. The study took place between March and May 2023 at the marine biology laboratory of the marine science study program at Diponegoro University's Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science. According to the Manova statistical test, the NPK liquid fertilizer had an impact on the growth rate, biomass, and chlorophyll-a. The seagrass seeding container of E. acoroides treated with a liquid fertilizer concentration of 4.5 ml/100l exhibited the highest average growth rate of 0.29 cm/day and a chlorophyll-a value of 12.395 mg/g, with a survival rate of 100%. Causal connections between statements ensure logical construction. In contrast, seedlings without liquid fertilizer treatment showed the lowest growth rate of 0.19 cm/day and chlorophyll-a values of 5.169 mg/g, with a survival rate of 85.19%. Technical term abbreviations such as 'cm/day' and 'mg/g' are explained when first used to ensure clarity. Based on these findings, using liquid fertilizer with a concentration of 4.5 ml/l exhibits potential for restoring seagrass ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education costs, the quality of educational services, and references on parents' satisfaction in enrolling their children at SDIT Al-Kautsar Cikarang. The research used a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to parents of students. The independent variables in this study include the quality of educational services, education costs, and references, while the dependent variable is parents' satisfaction. The method applied is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 26 software. The sampling technique used was the Slovin method, with 95 respondents comprising parents of students in grades II-VI at SDIT Al-Kautsar Cikarang. The results show that education costs, the quality of educational services, and references have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on parents' satisfaction. The quality of educational services is the most dominant factor influencing parents' satisfaction, followed by education costs and references. These findings suggest that improving the quality of educational services and implementing effective communication strategies related to costs, as well as reference management, can enhance parents' satisfaction with the school. This study is expected to contribute to the management of SDIT Al-Kautsar Cikarang in developing strategies to improve educational services, refine cost management systems, and create reference-based promotion strategies to strengthen parents' trust and satisfaction.
