Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive learning media based on Smart Apps Creator (SAC) for the topic of lighting and signaling systems in light vehicles, intended for Grade XI students of the Light Vehicle Engineering Program at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. The background of this research stems from low student achievement and the limited use of engaging instructional media at SMK N 2 Salatiga, which has resulted in students having difficulty understanding the electrical system material. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed media underwent validation by subject matter experts and media experts, receiving "highly feasible" ratings with feasibility percentages of 90.25% from the media expert and 88% from the subject matter expert. The effectiveness was tested through pretest and posttest evaluations analyzed using the N-Gain test. The N-Gain score from 34 students yielded an average of 0.324, which falls into the "moderate" category. It can thus be concluded that the learning media based on Smart Apps Creator provided to students is moderately effective in improving their learning outcomes.

Abstract

The The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of interactive multimedia learning media, to test the improvement of student learning outcomes in the continuously variable transmission (CVT) material after using interactive multimedia learning media compared to ppt teaching media that displays text and images and printed books. This study was conducted using an experimental method with a pretest - posttest control group design with a population of 58 students consisting of 28 students in the experimental class and 28 students in the control class. Data analysis will use descriptive analysis, T Test and Improvement Test. The results of this study indicate that learning media in the form of learning multimedia is feasible to use with a very feasible category. The results of the posttest test showed that t count was greater than t table or 6,314> 1,673 and the sig value (2 tailed) 0.00 was smaller than 0.05 or 0.0 <0.05, so the use of interactive multimedia learning media can improve student learning outcomes. The increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class was categorized as high with a percentage of 54.46%, while in the control class it was 36.36% with a sufficient category. So it can be concluded that learning media in the form of interactive multimedia is able to improve student learning outcomes on the continuously variable transmission (CVT) material for motorbikes compared to PPT teaching media that displays text and images and printed books.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan kurangnya alat peraga praktis untuk menjelaskan sistem hidrolik pada excavator. Selama ini, alat peraga yang tersedia cenderung besar dan sulit dibawa ke dalam kelas, menyulitkan mahasiswa memahami materi perkuliahan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan dan pengembangan alat peraga hidrolik excavator yang ringkas dan mudah dibawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan dari Sugiyono. Proses penelitian mencakup beberapa tahapan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perancangan, pembuatan produk, uji coba, hingga revisi, sampai akhirnya dihasilkan produk yang optimal. Alat peraga ini dirancang menggunakan bahan dasar kayu dan memanfaatkan komponen pneumatik sebagai substitusi komponen hidrolik. Pemilihan komponen pneumatik ini didasarkan pada ukurannya yang lebih ringkas dan fungsinya yang mirip, sehingga sangat ideal untuk digunakan dalam skala pembelajaran di kelas. Setelah selesai dibuat, alat peraga ini diuji kelayakannya oleh para ahli. Hasil penilaian dari tiga ahli media menunjukkan skor rata-rata 80,83%, yang mengategorikannya sebagai "layak" untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, materi pendukung yang menyertai alat peraga juga dinilai oleh dua ahli materi dan memperoleh skor rata-rata 83,75%, yang juga menunjukkan bahwa materi tersebut layak untuk digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan alat peraga hidrolik excavator yang efektif dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran.
