Abstract

The increasing demand for skilled labor in the workforce highlights the urgent need to equip youth with relevant competencies. In response, a community service program titled "Enhancing Youth Employability through Competency-Based Human Resource Training at Tajaul Karomah Foundation, Situ Gadung Village, Tangerang Regency" was conducted to improve the employability of local youth. The program aimed to develop participants' work-related skills through structured, competency-based training. The activity took place on May 4, 2025, at the Tajaul Karomah Foundation and was implemented by 15 lecturers from Pamulang University. A total of 45 participants joined the program, including local youth, community members, teachers, and students from Situ Gadung Village. The training was delivered through a combination of lectures, hands-on practice, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. Topics included soft skills, professional communication, and basic job readiness. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of workplace demands and their confidence in applying newly acquired skills. Participants expressed enthusiasm and requested further training opportunities. This community service initiative successfully contributed to the development of human resources at the village level, fostering greater readiness among youth to enter the labor market.

Abstract

In the manufacturing and retail sectors, the challenge of supplier selection revolves around efficiently allocating the necessary amount of raw materials to each supplier to minimize procurement costs. Concurrently, production planning focuses on maximizing output. To achieve maximum revenue, decision-makers must make optimal decisions in both areas. This paper introduces a new mathematical model, falling within the fuzzy piecewise programming domain, to support decision-making in supplier selection and production planning. It addresses integrated supplier selection and production planning issues, incorporating discounts and fuzzy factors. The aim is to optimize supply chain performance, ultimately maximizing the production activity profit. The model accommodates scenarios involving multiple raw materials, suppliers, products, and buyers. Through numerical experiments, the effectiveness of the proposed model is evaluated, demonstrating its ability to provide the optimal solution. Thus, it can be readily applied by industry decision-makers and managers.

Abstract

This study reviews the impact of pest and disease attacks on shallot plants (Allium ascalonium L.) and control strategies to increase plant production. Pests such as Spodoptera exigua (onion caterpillar), Thrips tabaci (thrips), Spodoptera ltura F. (armyworm), Liriomyza spp. (leaf slitting fly), and Gryllotalpa spp. (orong-orong), as well as diseases such as trotol or purple spot (Purple blotch), anthracnose (Antracnose), downy mildew, moler or fusarium wilt (Twisting disease), leaf blight (Stemphylium leaf blight), and leaf spot (Cercospora leaf spot) cause a significant decrease in production hasl. Pest and disease control still relies heavily on chemical pesticides, which pose a risk to the environment and health. Alternative sustainable control such as the use of biopesticides from mahogany seed extract (Swietenia mahagoni), Japanese papaya leaf extract (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius), and legundi weed extract (Vitex trifolia L.), as well as the application of Plant Growth Promoting Microorganisms (PGPM) from bamboo root can have a very good influence on controlling pests and diseases of shallot plants and can help in increasing plant productivity

Abstract

Let be a ring. Ring is said to be a clean ring if every element of R can be expressed as the sum of a unit and an idempotent element. Furthermore, there are r-clean rings. An r-clean ring is a generalization of a clean ring. In an r-clean ring, all of its elements can be represented as the sum of a regular element and an idempotent element. Moreover, strongly r-clean rings were introduced. A strongly r-clean ring is a ring where every element of the ring can be expressed as the sum of a regular and an idempotent element, and the multiplication of that regular and idempotent is commutative. Abstract

Mathematics learning, particularly in geometry, is often perceived as abstract and less engaging by students, leading to reduced interest and creativity. One of the geometry topics that demands a more creative and concrete approach is the tessellation of flat shapes, which emphasizes the understanding of patterns, symmetry, and regularity of shapes. The absence of contextual learning media has contributed to students’ low enthusiasm and limited ability to apply concepts in real-life contexts. This community service activity was designed to address these challenges by enhancing students’ creativity and conceptual understanding through the use of ceramic media as an innovative and enjoyable learning tool. The program was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Rowosari, Tembalang District, Semarang City, involving mathematics teachers, elementary school students, and university students. The implementation method included training and mentoring sessions. Activities encompassed the introduction of tessellation concepts, hands-on demonstrations, and the guided creation of tessellation patterns using ceramic media. Participants consisted of teachers and students who actively engaged in both theoretical and practical sessions. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test questionnaires administered before and after the training. The results revealed a significant improvement in students’ average scores after the activity. Pre-test data showed that approximately half of the students scored above the average, with two students achieving nearly perfect scores. Post-test results indicated that most students demonstrated increased understanding and creativity in applying tessellation concepts. Nevertheless, a small number of students still required further guidance, particularly in translating abstract tessellation concepts into real-life applications. Overall, the findings suggest that integrating ceramic media into mathematics learning is effective in making abstract geometry concepts more tangible, stimulating students’ creativity, and improving learning outcomes, especially in the topic of tessellation of flat shapes.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of learning media for the Canva application-based Snakes and Ladders game on the Basics of Branding and Marketing elements in the Fashion Cosmetology skills program at SMK. The need for interactive and contextual learning media is the basis of this research, considering that learning is still dominated by conventional methods that do not encourage student involvement. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach with expert validation, involving five media experts and six material experts. The assessment instrument was a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire measuring visual aspects, readability, functionality, content suitability, language, and relevance. Proof of content validity using Aiken's V with 5 raters obtained a result of≥ 0. 87 and declared all instrument items valid. Reliability estimation using Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) obtained a result of≥ 0. 87 with the criteria that the instrument has good reliability. Media feasibility was analyzed using descriptive percentage. The results showed that media experts gave a score of 89, 17% while material experts gave a score of 91, 67%. The media is considered suitable for use after minor improvements, such as improving visual readability, integrating interactive QR codes, mapping game boxes to learning outcomes, and providing a glossary. This media has the potential to increase student engagement, facilitate collaborative learning, and can be adapted for various other areas of expertise in SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Restoran Hoka- Hoka Bento Cabang Ciater Tangerang Selatan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh sebanyak 62 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang menggunakan ketentuan skala likert. Seperti halnya pengujian, Analisis Deskriptif, Uji Instrumen Data, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Kuantitatif, dan Pengujian Hipotesis. Berdasarkan perhitungan regresi linear berganda pada variabael disiplin kerja (X1) dan lingkungan kerja fisik (X2) memiliki persamaan Y = 7,753 + 0,630X1 + 0,065X2. Uji t disiplin kerja memperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 2,471 > 2,00100 dan nilai signifikan 0,016 < 0,05, Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima yang artinya disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Uji t lingkungan kerja fisik memperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 5,278 > 2,00100 dan nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, Ho ditolak dan H2 diterima yang artinya lingkungan kerja fisik berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Uji F memperoleh nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (111,146 > 3,15) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 Ho ditolak dan H3 diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja fisik berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan instrumen pengukuran sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar kelas V antara lain; (a) untuk menentukan indikator apa saja yang tepat untuk menunjukkan sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar, (b) melakukan pembakuan instrument yang valid dan reliabel, sehingga pada akhirnya mengetahui kecenderungan sikap jujur yang dilakukan dengan instrument yang telah disusun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Kartika Korwil Disdikbud Kecamatan Srumbung yang berjumlah 170 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis Exploratory Factor Anaysis, analisis reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Hasil pengembangan instrument diperoleh indikator sikap jujur yang dibagi menjadi 7 yaitu; (a) sikap menyatakan apa adanya, berani menegur untuk mengajak hal positif dan mandiri; (b) sikap konsisten antara perkataan dan perbuatan, mengakui kasalahan ketika berbuat salah, dan tidak tergantung pada orang lain; (c) sikap menyampaikan informasi sesuai dengan kenyataan dan bersedia menerima akibatnya jika berbuat salah; (d) sikap untuk mengingatkan dan tidak berprasangka buruk; (e) sikap taat aturan dan bersedia menerima hukuman; (f) sikap menepati janji, tidak curang, dan mau menerima pendapat orang lain; (g) sikap dapat dipercaya dan berani menunjungung tinggi kebenaran. Uji validitas konstruk terhadap 22 item dinyatakan valid dengan besar nilai Cronbach’s Alpha 0,91 yang terbagi dalam 7 faktor. (2) Kecenderungan sikap jujur siswa sekolah dasar di Gugus Kartika kelas V berada pada kategori baik.   A model for measuring honesty among elementary school students: development and empirical testing in the Kartika Cluster   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the development of an instrument for assessing the honest attitude of grade 5 elementary school students, including; (a) to determine what indicators are appropriate to show the honest attitude of elementary school students, (b) to standardize valid and reliable instruments, so that in the end they know the tendency of honest attitudes carried out with the instruments that have been prepared. This research is research and development. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in the Kartika Korwil Disdikbud Gugus, Srumbung District, totaling 170 students. The data analysis used includes Exploratory Factor Analysis, reliability analysis using Cronbach's Alpha and descriptive analysis. The results showed (1) The results of instrument development obtained honest attitude indicators which were divided into 7 namely; (a) the attitude of stating what it is, daring to reprimand to invite positive and independent things; (b) a consistent attitude between words and actions, admitting mistakes when making mistakes, and not depending on others; (c) the attitude of conveying information in accordance with reality and being willing to accept the consequences if one makes a mistake; (d) attitude to remind and not to be prejudiced; (e) an attitude of obeying the rules and being willing to accept punishment; (f) an attitude of keeping promises, not cheating, and willing to accept other people's opinions; (g) trustworthy attitude and dare to uphold the truth. The construct validity test on 22 items was declared valid with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.91 which was divided into 7 factors. (2) The tendency of honest attitude of elementary school students in the fifth grade Kartika Group is in the good category.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan strategi pengembangan usaha Joglo Grafis, Tanggerang Selatan, yang diwakili oleh karyawan Joglo Grafis, Tanggerang Selatan. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah berdiskusi bersama kepada para karyawan Joglo Grafis Tanggerang Selatan, sehingga dapat memberikan solusi yang tepat dalam permasalahan tersebut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa sebelum pelaksanaan PKM, para peserta masih kurang menguasai pelatihan strategi pengembangan usaha, namun setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan peserta kegiatan PKM ini sudah dapat dapat melakukan pelatihan strategi pengembangan usaha.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pemeliharaan tanaman kelapa sawit di PT. Mitra Austral Sejahtera, Kalimantan Barat. sebagai komoditas utama yang mempengaruhi peningkatan perkebunan kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Pengendalian gulma yang efektif dan pemupukan yang tepat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas perkebunan kelapa sawit. Oleh karena itu diperlukan informasi teknis yang bertujuan untuk memberi informasi tentang pemeliharaan tanaman kelapa sawit, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan pengendalian gulma dan pemupukan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan mulai Agustus sampai Oktober 2023 di PT. Mitra Austral Sejahtera 1, Dusun Melobo, RT. 004 Nadok, Desa Rahayu, Kecamatan Parindu, Kabupaten Sanggau, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode pengumpulan data dan informasi dilakukan dengan pengamatan dan wawancara langsung di lapangan (data primer) dan studi pustaka (data sekunder). Perkebunan kelapa sawit di PT. Mitra Austral Sejahtera 1 sebagian besar merupakan tanaman menghasilkan yang sudah memasuki usia tua yaitu sekitar 24-26 tahun. Pengendalian gulma dilakukan secara manual dan menggunakan bahan kimia, dengan jenis gulma berbahaya seperti alang-alang dan sembung rambat yang dapat menurunkan produksi hingga 20%. Pemupukan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan curah hujan yang optimal antara 100-250 mm per bulan. Pemupukan di PT. Mitra Austral Sejahtera 1 dilakukan sekali dalam setahun dengan jenis pupuk NPK 13 dengan dosis 3kg/pokok.
