Abstract

Program pemberdayaan petani hutan untuk konservasi dan restorasi ekosistem yang telah dilakukan oleh Pemdes Jetak Kecamatan Montong kabupaten Tuban pada tahun 2022 dipandang cukup efektif untuk memanfaatkan lahan di bawah tegakan hutan, namun kesinambungan program dalam bentuk pelestarian masih terus diperlukan. Pelestarian kawasan konservasi pengelolaan hutan masih perlu digalakkan agar terjadi keseimbangan ekosistem. Di lain pihak tumbuhnya kelompok usaha baru sebagai sumber penghasilan rumah tangga di luar sektor pertanian (batik, makanan dari produk pertanian, dan pewarna alami batik). Namun masih mengalami beberapa kendala yang berkaitan dengan produksi daun tanaman, manajemen produksi pewarna batik, legal formal ijin usaha, brand produk dan pemasaran digital. Untuk itu perlu penguatan usaha desa sebagai program yang dapat mengatasi kendala tersebut.  Di bawah tegakan pohon masih banyak lahan yang pengelolaannya kurang maksimal sehingga berpotensi dikelola untuk tanaman indigofera tinctoria sebagai bahan baku pewarna alami kain batik dengan inovasi teknologi pemupukan yang menerapkan biochar. Program bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan dengan budidaya tanaman di bawah tegakan hutan serta penguatan usaha desa. Optimalisasi pemanfaatan lahan dilakukan dengan scalling up agroforestri kopi. Penguatan usaha desa dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan legal formal perijinan, branding produk, dan pemasaran digital. Hasil dari program ada penambahan agroforestry kopi dari 3.000 pohon menjadi 4.500 pohon, ada formal legal ijin usaha desa, dan tersedia toko online untuk produk desa. Agar ekosistem hutan lindung terjaga maka program konservasi perlu terus diupayakan. Disamping itu sebagai program keberlanjutan usaha desa, maka Pemdes perlu mendorong pelaku usaha agar memanfaatkan toko online yang tersedia.

Abstract

Kabupaten Tuban merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan pertumbuhan industri yang sangat pesat, yang terancam keseimbangan ekologisnya di kawasan hulu yang agraris dan forestris dengan kawasan hilir yang industri. Untuk itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat serta para pemangku kepentingan tentang percontohan penerapan model budidaya tanaman pencegah kerusakan lahan sebagai peningkatan upaya pencegahan kerusakan lahan. Upaya tersebut dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan kegiatan FGD (Focussed Group Discussion) dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, untuk percontohan adalah Desa Jetak, Kecamatan Montong, yang berada di sebelah selatan wilayah Kabupaten Tuban sebagai kawasan hulu. Hasil FGD menjustifikasi keadaan dan status degradasi lahan hutan Bongok di lokasi kegiatan yang terkategori kritis dan perlu dinisiasi dengan Aksi Konservasi dan Restorasi Ekosistem di Hutan Bongok. Aksi ini merupakan penerapan metode vegetatif konservasi dan restorasi lahan, dengan tiga langkah aksi pendampingan, yaitu: penerapan model budidaya tanaman di bawah pohon tegakan, penerapan model pertanian terpadu-tanaman kopi-indigofera-ternak kambing termasuk inisiasi alih teknologi dan inovasi berbasis kopi, serta pengembangan usaha pengolahan produk pertanian-peternakan dan usaha pewarna alami.

Abstract

AJuvenile justice is a significant aspect of any criminal justice system, especially in countries where children's rights are enshrined in law. In Indonesia, the juvenile criminal justice system has evolved considerably, with a focus on rehabilitation and protection of the child’s welfare. This article delves into Indonesia's juvenile criminal laws, specifically Law No. 11 of 2012 on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, which introduced a more restorative approach to dealing with child offenders. The paper explores how Indonesia balances punishment with rehabilitation, analyzing the effectiveness of this system compared to global standards. By examining case studies, legal frameworks, and rehabilitation programs, the study evaluates how well these laws serve the interests of both society and juvenile offenders. The article also discusses challenges such as inconsistencies in implementation, socio-economic disparities, and public perceptions of juvenile justice. Finally, recommendations are provided to enhance the efficiency and fairness of juvenile criminal law in Indonesia.

Abstract

The future of children within criminal justice systems raises fundamental questions about the best approach to both punishment and rehabilitation. This paper explores the competing paradigms of restorative and retributive justice, examining their impact on child offenders. Restorative justice focuses on rehabilitation, reconciliation, and reintegration into society, while retributive justice emphasizes punishment proportionate to the crime. Through an analysis of global case studies, legal frameworks, and criminological theories, this study assesses the effectiveness of each approach. It argues that restorative justice, though underutilized, offers more promising outcomes for reducing recidivism among child offenders, while retributive measures often fail to address the root causes of juvenile delinquency. The paper concludes by recommending a shift towards a more restorative model in juvenile justice systems, emphasizing the need for comprehensive policy reform to prioritize the long-term welfare of child offenders.

Abstract

The management of household waste, particularly organic waste, has emerged as a significant issue in RT 04 RW 06, Merjosari Village, Malang City. Over 50% of the total waste generated consists of organic materials. If not properly managed, organic waste can lead to environmental pollution and exacerbate health problems.This community service initiative aims to enhance public awareness and knowledge, especially among the local PKK mothers, regarding the management of organic waste through composting. The methods employed include site surveys, problem identification, coordination with relevant stakeholders, practical training on compost production, and demonstrations on using bioactivators to accelerate the composting process.The anticipated outcomes of this initiative include a reduction in the volume of unmanaged organic waste, improved soil fertility, and a decrease in negative environmental impacts. Through this training, it is hoped that the community will be better equipped to manage organic waste in a more effective and sustainable manner, ultimately fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.

Abstract

An experiment in greenhouse was conducted to study the effect of biochar and fertilizer potassium against leaching and uptake of potassium on the growth of maize during the two cropping seasons. In the experiment, a randomized block design with seven treatments and three-time replication was applied, namely control (without biochar and KCl), biochar (30 t ha-1) with various doses of potassium fertilizer (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 kg KCl ha-1) and potassium fertilizer treatment of 200 kg KCl ha-1 without biochar. The first planting used 90 kg N ha-1 basic fertilizer and 100 kg P2O5 ha-1, while the second planting fertilizer was added with 90 kg N ha-1. The results showed that biochar containing potassium was soluble and leached. The amount of potassium leached from the soil given the biochar 30 t ha-1 did not differ from that given 200 kg KCl ha-1. The amount of potassium leached was not different, ranging from 439-449 mg l-1 in the first growing season (MT I) and 16-23 mg l-1 in the second growing season (MT II) at various doses of KCl with biochar.Keywords: biochar, leaching, potassium, uptake

Abstract

The management of urban plastic waste poses a significant challenge for the global environment and economy. An innovative horizontal tube pyrolysis reactor with a tiered condensation system, designed for a capacity of 50 kg, has been developed to convert mixed plastic waste into liquid fuels such as diesel, kerosene, and gasoline through an efficient and environmentally friendly pyrolysis process. The reactor, with a diameter of 760 mm and a length of 1200 mm, maximizes heat distribution to ensure uniform heating without requiring mechanical rotation or stirring. External heating is maintained at a temperature range of 300°C to 350°C under anaerobic conditions to prevent direct combustion. System trials demonstrated that the conversion of plastic waste to liquid fuel products can achieve an efficiency of up to 70% of the total input mass, yielding an average of 50% liquid fuel fractions, 15% solid residue, and 35% pyrolysis gas. Analysis of the liquid fuel quality indicates hydrocarbon content comparable to conventional fuels, with potential applications in internal combustion engines. The system is designed to be self-sufficient, utilizing pyrolysis gas to sustain the process and thereby reducing external energy requirements by up to 30%. These findings highlight the significant potential of horizontal tube-based pyrolysis systems in efficiently reducing urban plastic waste while providing alternative fuel sources. This technology can thus support sustainable waste management efforts and contribute to the transition toward renewable energy.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Limbah pabrik berpotensi mencemari lingkungan. Adanya logam berat dalam tanah dapat diserap oleh tanaman yang dapat berdampak negatif bagi lingkungan dan makhluk hidup. Remediasi lahan perlu dilakukan, di antaranya menggunakan tanaman hiperakumulator hanjuang. Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh remediasi lahan dengan tanaman hanjuang terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman padi fase vegetatif. Penelitian dilakukan bulan Maret-Agustus 2024 di Dusun Gampingan, Kecamatan Pagak, Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan delapan perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: tanpa hiperakumulator tanpa bahan organik (HB1); tanpa hiperakumulator + pupuk kandang ayam (HB2); tanpa hiperakumulator + pupuk hijau Thitonia diversifolia (HB3); tanpa hiperakumulator + pupuk kompos blotong tebu (HB4); tanaman hanjuang + tanpa bahan organik (HB5); tanaman hanjuang + pupuk kandang ayam (HB6); tanaman hanjuang + Thitonia diversifolia (HB7): tanaman hanjuang + blotong tebu (HB8). Data dianalisa menggunakan anova taraf 5% dan apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penanaman hiperakumulator hanjuang dan pemberian berbagai jenis bahan organik berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan padi fase vegetatif yang meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan dan total klorofil. Pada 56 HST perlakuan HB6 (hiperakumulator hanjuang + pupuk kandang ayam) memberikan jumlah anakan padi yang paling banyak (19.00) dibanding tanpa penanaman hiperakumulator hanjuang (14.33-14.50). Pada 30 HST perlakuan HB6 (24.02 mg/l) juga memiliki total klorofil yang paling banyak (32.71 mg/l) dibanding semua perlakuan lainnya (19.70-26.03). Semua perlakuan tidak mempengaruhi pH tanah.  ABSTRACTFactory waste has the potential to pollute the environment. The presence of heavy metals in the soil can be absorbed by plants that can have a negative impact on the environment and living creatures. Land remediation needs to be carried out, including using hanjuang hyperaccumulator plants. The research aims to study the effect of land remediation with hanjuang plants on the growth of rice plants in the vegetative phase. The research was conducted in March-August 2024 in Gampingan Hamlet, Pagak District, Malang Regency. The study used a randomized block design with eight treatments and three replications. Treatment consisted of: no hyperaccumulator without organic material (HB1); without hyperaccumulator + chicken manure (HB2); without hyperaccumulator + Thitonia diversifolia green manure (HB3); without hyperaccumulator + sugarcane filter cake compost (HB4); hanjuang plants + without organic matter (HB5); hanjuang plants + chicken manure (HB6); hanjuang plant + Thitonia diversifolia (HB7): hanjuang plant + sugar cane filter cake (HB8). Data were analyzed using anova at 5% level and if there was a real effect, it was continued with the least significant difference test at 5% level. The results of the research showed that the hanjuang hyperaccumulator planting treatment and the provision of various types of organic materials had a significant effect on rice growth in the vegetative phase which included plant height, number of tillers and total chlorophyll. At 56 HST the HB6 treatment (hanjuang hyperaccumulator + chicken manure) gave the highest number of rice tillers (19.00) compared to without hanjuang hyperaccumulator planting (14.33-14.50). At 30 HST the HB6 treatment (24.02 mg/l) also had the highest total chlorophyll (32.71 mg/l) compared to all other treatments (19.70-26.03). All treatments did not affect soil pH.

Abstract

The court does not always demand or require visum et repertum when examining homicide cases.  Forensic autopsy may not be required at all by the criminal court when deciding that the accused is guilty of homicide as charged. The verdict may be reached based on other evidence. The author, using a juridical normative approach, concludes that the absence or presence of a visum et repertum does influence the judge’ consideration and matters to the final verdict. Considering that, regardless of the surviving family’s consent, in cases of unnatural death, forensic autopsy and the making of a visum et repertum should be mandatory.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara parsial pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Nuansa Indah Tangerang Selatan dan untuk mengetahui secara simultan kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan CV Nuansa Indah Tangerang Selatan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Metode analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda, uji autokorelasi, uji korelasi, uji determinasi dan uji hipotesis (uji t dan uji f). Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil secara parsial kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, ini dapat dilihat dari uji t dengan nilai thitung 10,469 > 1,993 dengan tingkat tingkat signifikasi sebesar 0,000. Secara parsial disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, ini dapat dilihat dari uji t dengan nilai thitung 9,184 > 1,993 dengan tingkat signifikasi sebesar 0,000 dan secara simultan kompensasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji F dengan Fhitung 62,795 dan Ftabel 3,12 (62,795 > 3,12). Dengan demikian dapat diartikan kompensasi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
