Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana implementasi psikologi manajemen dalam membangun lingkungan kerja yang kondusif di Instiut Syekh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai. Sejauh mana perubahan yang sudah dirasakan oleh para dosen dan staff terhadap implementasi psikologi manajemen yang sudah dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengmpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Informan dalam pengambilan data melalui wawancara yaitu Rektor, Dosen, dan Ka. Staff kampus.  Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sejak awal kepemimpinan tahun 2020, implementasi psikologi manajemen yang digunakan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif telah mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan temuan dari wawancara yang berbeda, informan menyampaikan praktik kepemimpinan yang baik. Sebagai pemimpin kampus, rektor memiliki kemampuan untuk mengelola cara berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan semua orang, termasuk dosen dan karyawan. Ini adalah contoh kualitas kepemimpinan yang baik. Penilaian kerja yang objektif, jenjang karir yang jelas, kompensasi yang diberikan sesuai dengan prestasi, program pengembangan kualitas, dan penilaian kerja yang adil memastikan pemenuhan kebutuhan dan harapan tersebut. Program kampus dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan manajemen psikologi dan berhasil mengubah kampus menjadi Institut pada tahun 2023. Selain itu, baik dosen dan staff telah mengakui bahwa lingkungan kerja yang kondusif telah tercipta. Rektor tidak dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif jika mereka tidak memiliki kepercayaan dan loyalitas. Kepercayaan hanya akan diperoleh ketika pemimpin menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap setiap anggota tim dan bersedia menerima kritikan, saran, dan masukan dari orang lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi panduan rekrutmen guru di SMP Swasta Tunas Bangsa dengan fokus pada mekanisme pelaksanaan, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas tenaga pendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, tim rekrutmen, guru, dan pejabat yayasan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi panduan rekrutmen telah meningkatkan kualitas seleksi guru melalui tahapan sistematis, termasuk micro-teaching sebagai indikator utama kompetensi mengajar. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi kebijakan yayasan, dukungan finansial, dan sistem dokumentasi yang baik, sedangkan kendala yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan waktu dan sulitnya mendapatkan kandidat berkualitas dalam bidang tertentu. Implementasi panduan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan tingkat retensi guru serta efisiensi proses rekrutmen, dengan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa pengembangan instrumen penilaian lebih komprehensif dan integrasi teknologi dalam seleksi calon guru.

Abstract

Pengembangan karir dan peningkatan kompetensi guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan guru mengenai aspek tersebut. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan guru yang memiliki latar belakang pengalaman mengajar yang beragam. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pengembangan karir dan kompetensi mereka, khususnya dalam aspek pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Namun, masih terdapat kendala seperti terbatasnya akses terhadap pelatihan profesional serta minimnya dukungan institusional. Untuk meningkatkan persepsi guru, disarankan strategi yang berfokus pada pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, serta inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman kepada pemangku kebijakan dalam menyusun program yang lebih optimal untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product intended for use in the educational process and to evaluate the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Figma-Based Literacy Teaching Materials in the Indonesian Language curriculum for fourth grade students at SD Negeri 104205 Tembung. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, utilizing the ADDIE model, which encompasses five distinct phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this research are fourth-grade students utilizing the Figma-Based Literacy Teaching Materials within the Indonesian Language subject. Data collection instruments include observation, interviews, material validation questionnaires, media design validation questionnaires, educational practicality questionnaires, and assessment tests. The findings from the development of the Figma-based literacy teaching materials for the Indonesian Language subject indicate that the material validation received a percentage score of 88%, categorizing it as "Very Valid." Additionally, the validation conducted by media design experts yielded a score of 90.5%, also classified as "Very Valid," thereby confirming that the media is suitable for implementation in the educational process. In terms of practicality, feedback obtained from teachers through questionnaires resulted in a percentage score of 95%, categorized as "Very Practical." Effectiveness assessments, conducted via pretests and posttests, demonstrated an average N-gain of 66.9%, which is classified within the "effective" range.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) with Educaplay media on science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 060970 Bagan Deli. The study employed a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental design using pretest and posttest with non-equivalent control-group design. The research subjects were 56 fifth-grade students at SDN 060970 Bagan Deli, selected through purposive sampling technique. Based on the research results, the data analysis showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The hypothesis was accepted based on the t-test where t-hitung = 4.524 > t-tabel = 1.673, resulting in the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. The mean score in the control class was 70.53, while the experimental class achieved a mean score of 80.36. The effect size calculation using Cohen's d formula yielded a value of 1.206, which is interpreted as a large effect size. Therefore, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model TGT with Educaplay media has a significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 060970 Bagan Deli.

Abstract

The principal's leadership is an important factor in improving the quality of education and learning in schools. This research aims to describe the problem solving abilities of kindergarten school principals in responding to problems that arise in school situations. The research involved 20 school principals in the city of Medan. The findings from this research are that in resolving and overcoming problems that occur in schools, school principals tend to use principles in planning things to do with the teachers and teaching staff at the school.

Abstract

In a school, the most crucial decision-maker is the principal. The principal as the main leader has the responsibility to direct, improve and manage the quality of education of the school he leads in accordance with the vision and mission of the school. Many cases that occur in schools discuss the role of the principal as the highest leader in the school in making decisions for mutual progress. The purpose of this study is to identify cases that are ethical dilemmas at SDN 004 Teluk Durian to find out the methods/steps/procedures carried out by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions, to find out the challenges faced in decision-making in cases of ethical and disciplinary dilemmas, to find out the factors that facilitate or help the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian in making decisions. This study uses literature study research, by conducting an analysis by comparing the results of previous research through journals that are relevant to the study of the problem being studied. The subject of this research is the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian, Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands Province. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making consist of several ways, namely (1) Identifying problems, (2) classifying problems, and (3) Practice decision-making. The principal also makes decisions that are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 steps of testing and has a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style. Several efforts made by Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal at SDN 004 Teluk Durian in implementing the code of ethics at school for the problem of late attendance at school, students were sanctioned and in line with the violations that had been committed. The challenge faced by the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian is that the local culture of the school is still very thick, such as the use of Indonesian language is very minimal in school and the use of technology in accordance with the development of the times is still relatively low so that it is not able to compete with schools in urban areas. The conclusion of this study is that Mr. Muhammad Rauf, S.Pd.SD as the principal of SDN 004 Teluk Durian, the methods/procedures/steps carried out in decision-making are in line with the knowledge of 4 paradigms, 3 principles and 9 testing steps and have a paternalistic type of democratic leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership of elementary school principals in Sijamapolang District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, using a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research focuses on how school principals carry out their leadership roles in managerial functions, academic supervision, and fostering social relationships within the school environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis involving three purposively selected elementary schools as case study subjects. The findings indicate that school principals play a strategic role in creating a conducive school climate, motivating teachers, and encouraging the participation of school stakeholders. However, challenges such as limited resources, low community involvement, and a lack of leadership training were found to affect leadership effectiveness. These findings provide valuable insights for developing school leadership capacity in remote areas and emphasize the importance of ongoing professional development to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance and see the development of teacher discipline habits in carrying out their duties, especially through exemplary discipline and performance guided by the principal and positive habits built in the daily lives of teachers, and to identify challenges faced in its implementation in school activities. The research method used is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods are a research methodology that aims to collect and summarize research results obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, and analyze interview results with previous research. The results of the study indicate that the role of principal leadership is able to improve teacher performance in schools and has a significant impact on forming good performance and discipline that can bring changes to school progress, such as honesty, discipline, and responsibility. In conclusion, the role of principal leadership has a very significant influence on efforts to improve teacher performance in schools through targeted methods and rules.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dynamics of school leadership at a primary school affected by limited leadership experience and health-related constraints. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with several teachers, the findings reveal that the principal adopts a situational leadership style characterized by flexible and delegative practices. The principal places significant trust in senior teachers to carry out daily operational functions and decision-making processes. While this strategy fosters teacher autonomy and ensures the continuity of school activities, it also reveals weaknesses in supervision, quality control, and the symbolic presence of leadership. The lack of direct supervision results in unclear performance evaluations and weak program coordination. The study concludes that the effectiveness of situational leadership relies heavily on the strength of interpersonal relationships among staff and the existence of supportive internal systems. It is recommended that the principal strengthen the management team and establish a more structured communication system to sustain leadership quality and educational standards.
