Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan kegiatan senam pagi dalam upaya meningkatkan perkembangan fisik motorik anak usia dini di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Bajawa. Latar belakang masalah adalah rendahnya kemampuan motorik kasar anak, khususnya dalam mengkoordinasikan gerakan tangan dan kaki secara bersamaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Kemala Bhayangkari dengan melibatkan 96 orang anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dua teknik, yaitu observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan senam pagi secara konsisten memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan fisik motorik anak. Pada tahap awal, kemampuan motorik anak masih tergolong rendah hingga sedang dengan temuan seperti gerakan yang kaku dan koordinasi tubuh yang belum stabil. Setelah senam pagi diterapkan, terjadi peningkatan, di mana anak-anak mulai mampu mengikuti rangkaian gerakan dengan lebih baik, koordinasi gerak menjadi stabil dan seimbang, serta kelenturan, kekuatan otot, dan ketahanan fisik mereka meningkat.

Abstract

Urgensi Penelitian ini adalah membahas tentang Perencanaan Parenting berbasis budaya lokal untuk pembentukan karakter anak di kelurahan Ngedukelu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan peran serta orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini melalui pendekatan budaya lokal guna membentuk karakter anak yang kuat, positif, dan berakar pada nilai-nilai budaya setempat di kelurahan Ngedukelu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode deskritif kualitatif digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi terperinci tentang bagaimana pembentukan karakter anak di kelurahan Ngedukelu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap orang tua terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan parenting dilakukan melalui pembiasaan penanaman nilai-nilai budaya dilihat dari kegiatan seperti sopan santun ketika anak pulang dari sekolah anak tersebut selalu mengucapkan salam, gotong royong hal ini terliihat seperti merapikan barang pribadinya seperti ketika bermain mainannya anak tersebut membereskan mainan ketika sebelum bermain dengan teman sebaya, dan sikap saling menghormati dan membantu anak mengembangkan perilaku positif sejak usia dini yang konsisten antara orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini berkontribusi bagi dunia pendidikan sebagai bahan rujukan penguatan program parenting serta bagi masyarakat dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the high prevalence of stunting among early childhood, which has significant impacts on physical growth, cognitive development, and the quality of human resources in the future. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors causing stunting among early childhood in Wawowae Village. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of parents of stunted children and Posyandu cadres selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and was validated through source and technique triangulation. The results show that stunting is caused by several main factors, including inadequate nutritional intake characterized by limited food variety and low consumption of animal protein, suboptimal parenting practices in managing children’s eating schedules and assistance, and socio-economic conditions that limit the ability to provide nutritious food. In addition, environmental factors such as sanitation are not the primary cause, although some hygiene practices are still not optimal. This study confirms that stunting is a multidimensional problem that requires integrated interventions through improving parental nutrition literacy and optimizing the use of local food resources. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya kasus stunting pada anak usia dini yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab stunting pada anak usia dini di Desa Wawowae. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas orang tua anak stunting dan kader Posyandu yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stunting disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor utama, yaitu rendahnya asupan gizi yang ditandai dengan kurangnya variasi makanan dan konsumsi protein hewani, pola asuh yang belum optimal dalam pengaturan jadwal makan dan pendampingan anak, serta kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga yang membatasi kemampuan dalam menyediakan makanan bergizi. Selain itu, faktor lingkungan seperti sanitasi tidak menjadi penyebab utama, meskipun masih ditemukan perilaku hidup bersih yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa stunting merupakan masalah multidimensional yang memerlukan intervensi terpadu melalui peningkatan literasi gizi orang tua dan pemanfaatan sumber pangan lokal.

Abstract

The urgency of this study lies in the need for an empirical understanding of the extent to which parenting styles are related to children's cognitive development, particularly in the environment of TKN Beiposo. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of all children aged 4-5 years and their parents. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, chosen because the population size was relatively small. In quantitative research, the instruments must meet the requirements of validity and reliability. The reliability test obtained a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.709, indicating that the instrument used in this study is reliable. Therefore, the research instrument has fulfilled the requirements of validity and reliability and is appropriate to be used to test the research hypothesis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a school-based parenting program and the development of independence in children aged 4 to 6 years at the Lebijaga One Roof Kindergarten. The background of this study is based on the finding that several children are still unable to perform daily activities independently, such as putting on shoes, eating without assistance, and tidying up learning equipment. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects included seven children aged 4 to 6 years, the class teacher, and parents who acted as supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process refers to the Miles and Huberman model, which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that parenting is implemented through habituation of daily activities at school, ongoing communication between teachers and parents, and holding parenting meetings. The research findings also indicate that parenting patterns that provide opportunities for children to try to do activities independently, such as eating alone, putting on shoes, tidying up toys, and preparing learning equipment, can support the development of children's independence. On the other hand, excessive assistance from parents and inconsistent implementation of rules at home can be factors that hinder the development of children's independence.

Abstract

  The purpose of this study was to determine the motor skills of children before and after being given treatment at Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Bajawa Kindergarten, and to determine the effect of traditional games that can develop children's motor skills at Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Bajawa Kindergarten. This type of research is an experimental method that uses one group pretest posttest design data. The data collection methods used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive quantitative. This study was conducted at Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Bajawa Kindergarten with a total of 17 children in class B1, consisting of 10 boys and 7 girls. The results showed that the implementation of the traditional gasing game (maka) had positive effect on improving the motor skills of early childhood children. A increase in developmental achievements was seen. Before treatment, children's motor skills were mostly in the categories of beginning to develop (MB) and not yet developed (BB). However, after treatment was given, children's developmental achievements increased to the categories of developing as expected (BSH) and developing very well (BSB). The use of the gasing game was proven to be able to eliminate the category of not yet developed (BB) in the research subjects, so it can be concluded that the traditional gasing game (maka) can be used as an alternative effective learning activity as a stimulus to improve the motor skills of early childhood children.

Abstract

Research entitled "Parental Care Forms in Cultivating Children's Social Skills in Naru Village". This study aims to determine and describe various forms of parenting applied by parents to early childhood and analyze the role of parental care in cultivating children's social skills in Naru Village. The urgency of this study is to determine the social development of early childhood as the basis for children's ability to adapt, communicate, and establish positive relationships with their surroundings. In Naru Village, there are still parents who do not understand the application of appropriate parenting patterns in cultivating children's social skills, coupled with busyness, limited time with children, and the influence of the social environment that becomes an obstacle in the parenting process. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. In this case the approach used is a case study. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Activities in analyzing data consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research subjects include parents who have children aged 4-6 years as the main focus, PAUD teachers who provide supporting information about children's social behavior at school, and children aged 4-6 years as objects of observation. The results of the study revealed that parents in Naru Village apply various forms of parenting, namely authoritative (democratic), authoritarian, permissive, and less involved (neglectful) parenting. Among these four patterns, authoritative parenting is the most widely applied and has been proven to have a positive influence on the development of children's social skills, including the ability to communicate, cooperate, share, and foster empathy. These findings provide important implications for parents and educators in selecting and implementing appropriate parenting patterns to support the development of social skills in early childhood, especially in rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of parenting patterns on malnutrition in children, specifically to identify and address factors that can cause malnutrition problems in children. Proper parenting is very important to ensure that children receive adequate nutrition and grow optimally. The urgency of this research is very high because parenting is a dominant factor affecting children's nutritional status, even more than just economic factors. This study uses a quantitative method, an approach conducted by the researcher using numbers and formulas, so data collection in this study includes observation, pre-test, post-test, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that in the Kisanata sub-district, there are children experiencing stunted growth compared to children of the same age. According to growth observations, the development experienced by the children is very slow, with weight not meeting the standards and several other problems.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan gizi kronis yang berdampak jangka panjang terhadap pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Upaya pencegahan stunting perlu dilakukan sejak periode 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) melalui keterlibatan aktif keluarga. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berfokus pada optimalisasi peran keluarga dalam pencegahan stunting melalui edukasi gizi dan praktik pembuatan Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) berbahan lokal. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik pengolahan PMT yang melibatkan ibu hamil, orang tua balita, guru PAUD, dan kader posyandu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan gizi pada 1000 HPK serta pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal sebagai sumber gizi anak. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat sebagai garda terdepan dalam pencegahan stunting.
