Abstract

This study aims to analyze the law of salam sale contracts from the perspective of Imam al-Shafi‘i and to evaluate their relevance to contemporary muamalah (Islamic commercial practices). Salam sale is a form of contract in which payment is made in advance, while the goods are delivered later according to agreed specifications. In the Shafi‘i school of thought, this contract is permitted even though the goods do not yet exist at the time of the agreement, as it is supported by shar‘i evidence and fulfills the practical needs of society in economic activities. The method used in this study is library research with a qualitative approach, analyzing primary sources such as al-Umm by Imam al-Shafi‘i and other fiqh books from the Shafi‘i school, as well as secondary literature from contemporary scholars and academics. The results show that salam sale is permissible according to Imam al-Shafi‘i under specific conditions: full payment must be made at the time of the contract, the goods must have clear, measurable, and mutually known specifications, and the time and place of delivery must be precisely determined. These provisions are intended to avoid elements of gharar (uncertainty) and potential disputes. The study concludes that salam sale remains highly relevant in the modern Islamic economic system, particularly in pre-order schemes, agricultural contracts, and financing in the production sector based on sharia principles.

Abstract

Abstrak Limbah cangkang rajungan yang mencapai 40-60% dari total bobot rajungan selama ini hanya dibuang ke lingkungan sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran di daerah pesisir. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan kepada kelompok nelayan "Mappedeceng" di Desa Lasitae, Kecamatan Tanete Rilau, Kabupaten Barru tentang pemanfaatan limbah cangkang rajungan menjadi kitosan sebagai pengawet alami. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan (penyuluhan, pelatihan teknologi pengolahan, dan praktik langsung), serta evaluasi melalui pre-post test. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 9 Agustus 2025 dengan melibatkan 40 peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 38,75% berdasarkan perbandingan skor pre-test (rata-rata 10,575) dan post-test (rata-rata 18,325). Kegiatan praktik pembuatan pengawet alami menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, dengan mayoritas merasa percaya diri menerapkan teknologi ini di rumah. Kitosan yang dihasilkan terbukti dapat memperpanjang masa simpan produk perikanan hingga 2-3 kali lipat dan memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi sekitar Rp 75.000-100.000 per kilogram. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran nelayan tentang pentingnya ekonomi sirkular dalam perikanan dan memberikan solusi berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi masalah limbah cangkang rajungan sekaligus menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru bagi masyarakat pesisir. Kata kunci: limbah cangkang rajungan; kitosan; pengawet alami; pemberdayaan nelayan; teknologi pengolahan limbah. Abstract Crab shell waste, which accounts for 40-60% of the total weight of crabs, is often dumped into the environment, causing pollution in coastal areas. This community service activity aims to provide education and training to the "Mappedeceng" fishing group in Lasitae Village, Tanete Rilau District, Barru Regency, on the utilization of crab shell waste into chitosan as a natural preservative. The implementation method consists of three stages: preparation, implementation (counseling, processing technology training, and direct practice), and evaluation through a pre-post test. The activity was carried out on August 9, 2025, involving 40 participants. The evaluation results showed an increase in participant knowledge of 38.75% based on a comparison of pre-test scores (average 10.575) and post-test (average 18.325). The practical activity of making natural preservatives showed high enthusiasm from the participants, with the majority feeling confident in applying this technology at home. The resulting chitosan has been proven to extend the shelf life of fishery products by two to three times and has a high economic value of around IDR 75,000-100,000 per kilogram. This program has successfully raised awareness among fishermen about the importance of a circular economy in fisheries and provided a sustainable solution to address the problem of crab shell waste while creating new economic opportunities for coastal communities. Keywords: crab shell waste; chitosan; natural preservative; fishermen empowerment; waste processing technology.

Abstract

Al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r are considered among the most important aspects of the miracle of the holy Qur’an, as every word in it comes in a distinctive way, and every change in this arrangement becomes a clear defect in the meaning. Despite the many secrets of al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r and its various types, many commentators did not pay attention to it and did not explain the secrets it has in its meaning. Speech, and most of their care in explaining what was presented was to say: Al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r are a form of care and attention, and for this reason some scholars blamed those who made the matter of al-Takdi>m easy and his status small; This is because they think that it is sufficient to say about everything that has been presented: it has been brought forward to be taken care of, and because mentioning it is more important. Al-Alusi explained and applied the miracle of the Qur’an, especially the al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r in its interpretation called the Spirit of Meanings in the Interpretation of the Great Qur’an and the Seven Repeated Verses, a book famous for its author’s interest in the rhetorical aspect of the Holy Qur’an. This research deals with the secrets of al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r in Al-Alusi’s interpretation, through the inductive approach. Where its secrets are extrapolated in its interpretation; The comparative approach is to compare all the opinions mentioned regarding the secrets of advancement and delay with other exegetical books. At the end of this research, the results come, the most important of which are: the secrets of al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r: attention to the advance and interest to the latter, specification, and al-Takdi>m because it is included in praise, and the declaration of equality, and al-Takdi>m in existence, and al-Takdi>m of the best, and al-Takdi>m the path of receiving revelation. The secrets of al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r are considered in the interpretation of Al-Alusi, as an extension of Abd al-Qahir al-Jurjani’s approach to systems theory in his book “Dala’il al-I’jaz”, Al-Alusi distinguished himself from Al-Zamakhshari, Al-Razi, Abu Hayyan, and other commentators who preceded him in many investigations into the secrets of al-Takdi>m and al-Ta’khi>r in the holy Qur’an.

Abstract

This community service was carried out in Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The objects were MSMEs in Pelalawan District as partners of the Pelalawan District Religious Affairs Office in collaboration with the Riau Province Baznas in distributing Productive Zakat from BAZNAS Riau Province. This community service aims to develop entrepreneurial skills for MSMEs so that they can develop further than before. The results of this community service indicate that: 1) The success of the target number of training participants. 2) Achievement of activity objectives. 3) Achievement of planned material targets. 4) The ability of participants to master the material. Overall, this community service activity can be said to be successful. This success, in addition to being measured by the four components above, can also be seen from the interactive dialogue between participants and the community service providers where the community service providers provide the opportunity to ask as many questions as possible and provide answers that are quite satisfactory, as can be seen from the satisfaction of the participants after participating in the activity. The benefits obtained by participants are knowledge and understanding of the development of entrepreneurial skills possessed by participants.

Abstract

Christian Prince’s (CP) presence on YouTube opened a new chapter in Christian opposition actors who act as cross-theological debaters between Muslims and Christians who, for the previous two decades, were only dominated by Muslims. Through the narratives on YouTube, this Christian apologist tries to convince the public that the Qur’an contains contradictory statements as the holy book for Muslims. In response to such an issue, this research aims to investigate the construction of CP’s interpretation, which highlights the authenticity of the Qur’an. Qualitative content and thematic analyses and the framing approach developed by William A. Gamson were employed. Findings suggest that the representation of CP’s understanding of the Qur’an verses uses a decontextualization approach. Also, the vast knowledge of the Arabic language and literary translations further strengthen the narratives to convince the public of the allegations. However, instead of considering the historical context in understanding the scientific meaning of the Qur’an, this Christian apologist uses literal meaning as a framing device. This phenomenon has shown that cross-theological debates only provoke persistent inter-religious hatred and resentment. Therefore, such debates are inclined to trigger the propaganda of religious extremists.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengedukakasi akad-akad keuangan syariah pada Karyawan PDAM Tirta Kampar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah dengan cara memberikan edukasi berupa penyuluhan, diskusi dan pemahaman kepada Karyawan PDAM Tirta Kampar. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat Karyawan PDAM Tirta Kampar ini dapat diselenggarakan dengan baik dan berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan rencana kegiatan yang telah disusun, hasil dari pengabdian ini disimpulakan bahwa: Pertama, Karyawan PDAM Tirta Kampar pemahaman tentang transaksi keuangan syariah beragam, ada yang sudah faham, ada yang masih ragu-ragu, bahkan ada yang belum faham, Kedua, Ketercapaian tujuan program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Karyawan PDAM Tirta Kampar keseluruhan program yang telah dilakukan dengan kolaborasi antara pemilik usaha dan pengabdi telah dilakukan semua dan sesuai dengan roundown acara maupun waktu yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Dalam praktiknya banyak sekali orang yang memiliki skill atau keahlian dalam membuat usaha yang berasal dari rumah. Bupati/Walikota melalui Dinas Kesehatan setempat telah memberikan jaminan tertulis bagi pelaku usaha yang telah memenuhi persyaratan dan standar keamanan yang telah ditetapkan, dan telah memiliki izin edar tersebut, maka pengedaran dari produknya dapat dilakukan secara bebas. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang belum memahami bidang pemasaran dalam pembuatan usaha baru dan merek dagang skala rumah tangga, maka diperlukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dalam bidang pemasaran dalam pembuatan hak merek dagang skala rumah tangga. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diantaranya adalah untuk memberikan sosialisasi ekonomi kreatif dalam pembuatan usaha baru skala rumah tangga secara sederhana kepada masyarakat agar produk mereka dapat dipasarkan dan layak beredar di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah membuat rancangan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan tahap yaitu, persiapan, penyuluhan dan pelatihan, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, teknik pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat dapat membentuk usaha rumahan dan juga UMKM yang dibuat khususnya untuk masyarakat desa dan juga dapat membantu perekonomian di desa agar lebih banyak lagi usaha baru yang dapat dibangun.

Abstract

This community service program aims to introduce the concepts of contracts (akad) in Islamic economics to the students of Pondok Pesantren Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiah (PPMTI) Tanjung Berulak as a solution for Islamic financial management. The material was delivered through a lecture method, providing the students with content relevant to the theme. After the presentation, a discussion session was conducted, giving the students an opportunity to ask questions related to the topic, allowing them to explore the concepts more deeply. The results of this activity show an increase in the students’ understanding of the importance of Islamic financial management, as well as their enthusiasm for applying Islamic financial principles in their daily lives. This program is expected not only to provide direct benefits to the students but also to inspire them to become agents of change in their communities, promote Islamic finance, and support the creation of a more Islamic and prosperous society.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out for the students of SMKN 1 Tapung Kampar, Riau Province. The purpose of this program is to provide knowledge and enhance understanding of the concept of Islamic Economics among the community, especially Generation Z, represented by the students of SMKN 1 Tapung Kampar. The methods used in this community service activity included counseling and presentations, discussions, as well as practice sessions (pre-test and post-test) for the participants. The results of this program show that the community service activities were successfully implemented and ran smoothly according to the planned schedule. The findings indicate that: First, most students of SMKN 1 Tapung Kampar do not yet have a good understanding of the concept of Islamic economics. Second, the objectives of the community service program were achieved, as all activities were conducted through collaboration between the school and the facilitators, and were carried out according to the event rundown and the predetermined schedule.

Abstract

Pusung Kapal Village has ecological and geological potential, positioning it as a promising geotourism destination. However, its current utilization remains limited due to insufficient geospatial information regarding the area's potential and a lack of facilitated spatial data-driven tourism management. This community sevice program was conducted in Pusung Kapal Village, Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province. The primary objective of this project was to accelerate geotourism development through territorial potential mapping and the implementation of geospatial technology-based innovations. The target of community service is the community and tourism-aware groups in Pusung Kapal Village. This service aims to accelerate the development of geotourism through mapping the potential of the area and implementing innovations based on geospatial technology. The activities consist of a preparation stage, an implementation stage, an evaluation stage, and a reporting stage. The outcomes derived from this endeavor include 1) enhanced community competency in geotourism mapping and promotion, 2) the distribution map of geotourism site footprints; 3) the geotourism promotional video of Pusung Kapal Village, 4) the geotourism information website of Pusung Kapal Village. This activity is expected to foster community self-reliance in their efforts to advance geotourism destinations within Pusung Kapal Village.
