Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of optimizing rule creation for palm oil production at PT Tapiana Nadenggan. It deals with the complexity of diverse agricultural variables, environmental factors, and the dynamic nature of palm oil production. The existing problem lies in the limitations of conventional decision tree models—J48, reduced error pruning (REP), and random—in capturing the nuanced relationships within the intricate palm oil production system. The study introduces hybrid decision tree models—specifically J48-REP, REP-Random, and Random-J48—to address this challenge via combination scenarios. This approach aims to refine and update the rule creation process, enabling the recognition of nuanced performance processes within the selected decision tree combinations. To comprehensively tackle this challenge and problem, the study employs Tsukamoto’s fuzzy inference system (FIS) for a sophisticated performance comparison. Despite the complexity, intriguing results emerge after the forecasting process, with the standalone J48 decision tree achieving 85.70% accuracy and the combined J48-REP excelling at 93.87%. This highlights the potential of decision tree combinations in overcoming the complexities inherent in forecasting palm oil production, contributing valuable insights for informed decision-making in the industry.

Abstract

Application quality assessment on Google Play Store is generally based on numerical ratings, but this approach does not always reflect the actual sentiment of users. The difference between ratings and textual reviews has the potential to cause bias in application quality evaluation, especially for public service applications. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of MyPertamina app users in greater depth using an IndoBERT-based Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) approach and to evaluate the correspondence between text sentiment and user numerical ratings. The research dataset consists of 9947 user reviews that have undergone preprocessing and aspect separation, with a focus on the account and payment aspects. The IndoBERT model was fine-tuned for sentiment classification and applied in an ensemble scheme to improve prediction stability. In addition, the Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) approach using Integrated Gradients from Captum was used to provide interpretations of the model's prediction results. The results of the study show the dominance of negative sentiment in both main aspects, as well as the discovery of inconsistencies between textual sentiment and numerical ratings in some user reviews. These findings indicate that numerical ratings do not fully represent the actual user experience. Thus, this study contributes to the development of a more transparent and accurate aspect-based sentiment analysis, and offers a more comprehensive evaluation approach for improving the quality of digital public services.

Abstract

The rapid digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia has raised the need for adequate website security, yet limited technical resources leave many MSME owners unaware of their platform's security posture. This research designs and implements VulnScope, a web-based vulnerability assessment (VA) system that integrates a Large Language Model (LLM) to analyze the attack surface and generate contextual remediation recommendations. The system is built on the FastAPI framework with eight core scanning modules, an aggressive scanner, and a VAPT Engine that classifies findings based on OWASP Top 10:2021 and CVSS v3.1. Artificial intelligence is integrated through the Claude and Nous Hermes models using an agentic tool-use pattern. Black box functional testing confirmed that all features work as specified. Applied to the MSME website ibadahterpanjang.com, the system detected four vulnerabilities (one Critical, one Medium, two Low) with an overall CRITICAL risk level (score 38/100). The results show that integrating VA with artificial intelligence effectively helps MSME owners independently identify and remediate website security vulnerabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Microsoft Teams usage patterns, measure workplace communication effectiveness, test the statistical relationship and effect between the two variables, and present the findings through a Power BI dashboard among employees of PT Senantiasa Makmur. A quantitative approach with a descriptive and correlational design was applied. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire using Google Forms from 20 respondents. Variable X consisted of usage intensity, ease of use, feature utilization, and usage quality, while variable Y consisted of information clarity, information timeliness, work coordination, and communication productivity. After item X12 was removed based on the validity test, the composite score for X was calculated from 15 items and Y from 16 items. The results showed a mean X of 4.323 and a mean Y of 4.294. Pearson correlation was 0.683 with a significance value of 0.001, indicating a positive and statistically significant relationship. The R Square of 46.65% indicates the proportion of variation in communication effectiveness explained by Microsoft Teams usage patterns in the model. Simple linear regression produced Y = 1.101 + 0.738X, with significant t and F tests at α = 0.05. The findings were visualized through a Power BI dashboard containing KPI cards, indicator charts, a scatter plot, insights, and recommendations. The dashboard functions as a visualization medium for survey data rather than a real-time Microsoft Teams log monitoring system.

Abstract

Programming learning is often considered abstract and difficult, causing low motivation and learning interest among students, especially in small-scale course institutions like SIAP IT at Tambun Selatan. This research aims to design, implement, and evaluate the application of gamification methods (points, levels, badges, and progress bars) on a web-based Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance student learning interest in basic web programming classes (HTML and CSS). The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall model, including needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The system was developed using a modern architecture with React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase as the backend. The evaluation of gamification's impact on learning interest was measured using questionnaires based on indicators of attention, curiosity, volition, and satisfaction distributed to 20 students, as well as the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the system's ease of use. Black box testing results showed all 25 test cases were successful (100%). The average student learning interest reached 4.34 (very high), with gamification elements averaging 4.39 (very high). The SUS score reached 88.5 (Excellent). The research concludes that gamification implementation in LMS effectively increases student learning interest, aligning with Self-Determination Theory.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems faced by photocopy businesses, which still rely on manual, paper-based recording of cashier transactions and financial bookkeeping. This conventional approach is prone to human error, carries a high risk of data loss, and is inefficient for daily operations. This study therefore designs, builds, and implements a web-based Financial Management System and Sales Dashboard (Point of Sales) for Hanbai Fotocopy. The main innovation is the use of Google Apps Script as the server-side backend and Google Sheets as the database, combined with Bootstrap 5, Chart.js, and jsPDF on the client side. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, covering requirements analysis, system design, coding, and Black-Box testing. The resulting cloud-based cashier and financial-recording application automates sales transaction recording, supports cash and non-cash payment methods, updates stock automatically, records operational expenses, and presents real-time cash-flow visualization on an interactive dashboard. Black-Box testing confirmed that authentication, transaction calculation, stock reduction, chart updates, and PDF report export all function as expected. By relying on the Google Workspace ecosystem, the system minimizes hardware and hosting costs while improving the accuracy, speed, and transparency of financial monitoring for the business owner.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the manual transaction recording system used at Lapak Pak Iyan, an MSME engaged in scrap goods collection in Rawalumbu, East Bekasi. This condition makes it difficult for the owner to identify frequently traded types of scrap goods, so purchasing decisions are not yet supported by structured data. The research aims to apply data mining using the Naive Bayes algorithm to classify scrap goods based on sales frequency into three categories: High-Selling, Moderate-Selling, and Low-Selling. The research methods include data collection, preprocessing, calculating item frequencies, category labeling, and classification using RapidMiner Studio. The dataset consists of 63 transaction records from January to June 2026 covering seven types of scrap goods. Model testing is conducted using Leave-One-Out Cross Validation (LOOCV) because the available dataset is relatively small. The classification results are expected to provide practical guidance for the owner in prioritizing purchasing decisions based on historical sales patterns. Naive Bayes successfully classified the seven types of scrap goods into three categories with an accuracy of 100%. Therefore, the results can be used as a reference to improve stock management efficiency.
