Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of academic burnout on students’ mental health in the context of hybrid learning through a literature review approach. The rapid transformation of learning systems in higher education, particularly the integration of online and offline methods, has increased academic demands and adaptation challenges for students. This condition potentially triggers academic burnout, which is characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased academic achievement. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific articles published between 2019-2025 obtained from indexed national journals and open-access sources. The findings indicate that academic burnout is still commonly experienced by students, generally at a moderate level, and has a significant impact on mental health, including increased stress, emotional fatigue, and decreased academic performance. The study also identifies several influencing factors, including internal factors such as self-efficacy and hardiness, as well as external factors such as social support, learning environment, and academic workload. Furthermore, technological developments, particularly Artificial Intelligence, have the potential to be utilized as an early detection and prevention tool for academic burnout. This study implies the importance of developing adaptive learning strategies and psychological interventions to support students’ well-being in hybrid learning environments.

Abstract

Jakarta sebagai ibu kota Indonesia yang terletak di wilayah pesisir menghadapi ancaman serius penurunan permukaan tanah (land subsidence) yang berpotensi menyebabkan sebagian kota tenggelam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ancaman tenggelamnya Jakarta akibat subsidence melalui kajian pustaka terhadap dampak sosial dan lingkungan di wilayah pesisir. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis secara deskriptif berbagai jurnal ilmiah, laporan penelitian, data geospasial, serta dokumen kebijakan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan laju subsidence di Jakarta mencapai 1–15 cm per tahun dan hingga 20–28 cm per tahun di pesisir utara, terutama disebabkan oleh eksploitasi air tanah berlebihan dan pembebanan konstruksi. Dampak lingkungan meliputi perluasan banjir rob, intrusi air laut, serta kerusakan ekosistem pesisir, sementara dampak sosial mencakup kerusakan infrastruktur, kerugian ekonomi, migrasi penduduk, dan peningkatan kerentanan masyarakat miskin pesisir. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa diperlukan pendekatan mitigasi terintegrasi antara solusi struktural (seperti Giant Sea Wall/NCICD) dan non-struktural (pengelolaan air tanah dan adaptasi masyarakat) agar mencegah genangan permanen pada tahun 2050.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the most frequent disasters in DKI Jakarta and contributes not only to physical and economic losses but also to the emergence of various psychological problems among affected communities. This study aims to analyze the psychological impacts of post-flood disasters, particularly among vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly, and to examine the effects of repeated flood exposure on mental health conditions. This study employs a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach through the identification and synthesis of relevant scientific sources. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and trends in research findings. The results indicate that flooding is associated with psychological disorders such as stress, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with varying levels of severity. Repeated exposure to flooding has been shown to increase individuals’ vulnerability to mental health problems and reduce psychological well-being. However, protective factors such as social support, religiosity, emotional regulation abilities, and adaptive coping strategies play a significant role in strengthening resilience and accelerating psychological recovery. The findings highlight the importance of a holistic disaster management approach that integrates mental health services, strengthens community capacity, and enhances preparedness education to improve the psychological resilience of flood-affected communities.

Abstract

Perilaku hidup lambat di kalangan Generasi Z di era kontemporer membentuk tren, aktivisme sosial, gaya hidup serba cepat, persaingan sosial, dan individualisme dari kehadiran teknologi. Hidup lambat tidak hanya mencakup aspek-aspek praktis, seperti memperlambat ritme kehidupan dan menikmati peristiwa-peristiwa sederhana, tetapi juga mendorong keseimbangan, kebahagiaan, dan hubungan yang lebih dekat dengan alam dan orang lain. Studi ini menggunakan metode pendekatan studi literatur untuk menganalisis peran hidup lambat dalam strategi adaptasi Generasi Z terhadap perubahan sosial di ranah masyarakat kontemporer. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa hidup lambat merupakan salah satu strategi adaptasi sosial kehidupan Generasi Z yang berperan dalam menghadapi era modern ini. Kajian ini menggunakan analisis informasi mendalam dari berbagai sumber literatur yang akan memberikan pemahaman, khususnya memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang peran hidup lambat sebagai strategi adaptasi Generasi Z terhadap perubahan sosial di era kontemporer.

Abstract

Cultural Illiteracy is a condition where there is a lack of public understanding related to the diversity of traditions, values, norms, and cultural identity of the nation. This phenomenon of cultural illiteracy is one of the challenges for the younger generation in the midst of the development of digital technology and globalization trends. The younger generation tends to understand popular foreign cultures compared to local cultures, such as regional languages, cultural customs or traditions, traditional arts, and cultural values of the archipelago. This condition shows that cultural education in Indonesia is still not running optimally. This study aims to analyze cultural illiteracy in the younger generation due to the weak cultural education in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study, namely by examining relevant sources. The results of the study show that cultural illiteracy in Indonesia is characterized by the lack of knowledge of the younger generation about culture due to the lack of learning and implementation of culture in formal education. Thus, cultural education needs to be improved so that the younger generation is able to understand, and preserve national culture in the modern era.
