Abstract

Tingkat bahaya dari logam berat merkuri (Hg) yang ter-bioakumulasi pada cumi-cumi (Loligo sp.) tidak hanya memberikan implikasi bagi lingkungan, namun juga terhadap kesehatan manusia.  Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar penelitian dikarenakan cumi-cumi memiliki kemampuan mengabsorpsi logam melalui jaringan otot dan didukung dengan tingginya produksi cumi-cumi di Indonesia yang mencapai 216 ribu ton per tahun 2018 berdasarkan data KKP RI yang sejalan dengan tingkat konsumsi.  Selain itu, relevansi kebijakan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dengan penandatanganan Konvensi Minamata tentang bahaya merkuri yang telah ditetapkan sebagai permasalahan global, peraturan BPOM No.5/2018, dan SNI 7387-2009 tentang batasan maksimum cemaran logam berat dalam pangan olahan menjadi acuan pendukung. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kadar logam berat merkuri (Hg) yang terakumulasi dalam daging cumi-cumi.  Kadar logam berat Hg pada cumi-cumi dianalisis menggunakan metode Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) melalui sampel jaringan otot daging.  Secara keseluruhan, data analisis menunjukkan bahwa kandungan logam berat merkuri (Hg) pada daging cumi-cumi adalah 0,038 μg/g (uji#1) dan 0,035 μg/g (uji#2) dimana lebih rendah dari standar baku mutu PerBPOM dan SNI 7387-2009 tersebut yaitu 0,5 mg/kg dan 1,0 mg/kg, masing-masing.  Oleh karena itu, hasil tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa cumi-cumi tersebut aman untuk dikonsumsi.http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/aec.v6.i1.2021.p83-91

Abstract

Fitoremediasi adalah teknologi pembersihan, penghilangan atau penguranganpolutan berbahaya, seperti logam berat, pestisida, dan senyawa organik beracundalam tanah atau air dengan menggunakan bantuan tanaman (hiperaccumulatorplant). Tanaman akar wangi atau vetiver merupakan tanaman dari famili Gramineae(rumput-rumputan) yang masih satu famili dengan serai wangi (citronella) dan seraidapur (lemon grass). Kelebihan tanaman ini adalah kemampuannya untukmenyerap bahan bahan racun berbahaya (B3) dan logam berat yang mungkinterbawa dalam sampah dan meresap ke dalam tanah. Disamping itu akar daritanaman ini memberikan bau aroma khas yang juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk bahanbaku industri aromaterapi (Kastaman dkk, 2007). Vetiver pun memilikikemampuan untuk mengolah polutan dan pencemar air, misalnya limbah dari pabrik,lindi atau air dari pembuangan sampah, maupun air dari bisnis pencucian mobil yangbanyak mengandung zat-zat kimia. Penggunaan akar wangi sebagai fitoremidiasiterhadap logam cadmium (Cd) telah berhasil dilakukan oleh Patandungan dkk.,(2012). Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of Posyandu Community Health Volunteers in fulfilling early childhood nutritional needs through an innovative food product in the form of nuggets contain of chicken meat, carrot and broccoli. The activity was conducted in Tembokrejo Village targeting mothers with children aged 2–4 years. The methods used included counseling, hands-on training, and assistance in producing vegetable-based chicken nugget products. The implementation stages began with coordination with village authorities and the Posyandu Community Health Volunteers group, followed by the delivery of educational materials on the importance of vegetable consumption, demonstration of nugget production, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills in processing functional food, as well as a higher interest among mothers in providing healthy meals for their children. In addition, participants were able to independently practice the preparation of carrot and broccoli nuggets according to the provided procedures. The impact of this program includes increased community awareness regarding the importance of child nutrition, improved vegetable consumption among children through more appealing food innovations, and the emergence of opportunities for small-scale food-based entrepreneurship among Posyandu Community Health Volunteers member. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable community empowerment model in supporting food security and improving family nutritional quality.

Abstract

Mathematics is the study of patterns, so in chess pattern recognition is very important in problem solving. Chess is a problem-solving instrument and the best way to analyze problem-solving because chess has clear rules in decision making, thus a skilled chess player becomes a good problem solver. Metacognitive activity and problem-solving processes are intimately intertwined. The purpose of this research is to describe the metacognition profiles of students who play chess and students who do not play chess in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative-research. The research subjects in this study were students who could play chess and students who could not play chess. The criteria are students who have participated in chess matches as low as possible at the sub-district level and regularly play chess, while students who cannot play chess are students who do not understand the basics of playing chess. This research carried out in class VIII at a junior high school in Surabaya. The instruments in this study were math ability tests, problem-solving tests and interview guidelines. The data collection procedure was carried out by giving students a math problem-solving test and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out in the following steps; transcribing the subject's answers, examining the subject's answer data from interviews, data reduction, data categories, analyzing students' metacognition profiles, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that the metacognitive abilities in solving problems of chess students were better than those of non-chess students. The ES subject achieved 80% of metacognitive activity indicators, while the MI subject only achieved 54.25% of metacognitive activity indicators.

Abstract

The experiment was aimed to study the effects of phosphorous and potassium fertilizers on growth and seed yield of kenaf on Latosol. The experiment was carried out at Tajur Experimental Station, IPB Bogor, from January 1991 to July 1991. The seed germination test was held in the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology IPB, Bogor. Kenaf variety Hc-48 was used in this experiment. The two factor factorial experiment was arranged in Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The first factor was 4 levels of phosphorous fertilizer: 0, 30, 60 and 90 kg P2O5/ha. The second factor was 3 levels of potassium fertilizer: 0, 60 and 120 kg K2O/ha. Phosphorous and potassium fertilization each increased significantly plant height, stem diameter, the number of mature and total fruit per plant, seed yield per hectar: however there were no significant effect on percentage of mature fruit, number of seeds per fruit, weight of 1,000 seeds and seed germination. The dosage of phosphorous fertilizer until 90 kg P2O5/ha still increased yield linearly, otherwise the optimum dosage of potassium fertilizer was reached on 69.31 kg K2O/ha with seed yield 2,036.48 kg/ha. There was no interaction effect between P and K fertilization.

Abstract

Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a type of freshwater fish that contains high levels of protein albumin. The research was conducted to determine the albumin content in snakehead fish after the cooking process, both steamed and wrapped. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern, the first factor was the cooking method (steamed and wrapped) and the second was cooking time (10, 15, 20, and 20 minutes). Determination of protein albumin levels in snakehead fish after processing using the Biuret method. The steaming process for 15 minutes resulted in protein content in the snakehead fish of 0.76%, while the protein albumin that was lost was 19.28%. The wrapped method for 20 minutes has a remaining protein content of 0.59%, while the missing protein is 38.78%. The method of processing snakehead fish by steaming is better than the wrapping process.
