Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of problem based learning of students mathematical representation skill. The population of research was all students of grade 8thof SMP Negeri 1 Negeri Agung in academic year of 2016/2017 that was distributed into three classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII A and VIII B classes which were chosen by cluster random sampling This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical representation skill. Analysis data of research used Mann-Whitney U test. The result of research analysis showed that the problem based learning affects the students mathematical representation skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Negeri Agung tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam tiga kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pengaruh, representasi matematis

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of the learning model of TPS viewed by students understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014 as many as 262 students and distributed into 7 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIB class which were taken randomly. This research used one group posttest only design. The instrument of this research was test of mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on the analysis of data, the cooperative learning model of TPS type was ineffective viewed by understanding of mathematical concepts of students.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TPS ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 262 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIB yang diambil secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group posttest only design. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem posing viewed by student's ability of understanding of mathematical concepts. This research used post-test only control design. The population of this research was all grade 7th students of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2014/2015. By purposive random sampling technique, it was chosen students of VII.L and VII.I class as research samples. Based on the result of testing hypothesis, it was obtained that the average of the students ability of mathematical concepts with problem posing approach was higher than average of students ability of mathematical concepts with conventional learning. Thus,problem posing approach affects towards students ability of mathematical concepts.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Problem Posing terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Dengan teknik purposive random sampling terpilih kelas VII L dan VII I sebagai sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pendekatan pembelajaran problem posing lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pembelajaran problem posing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep matematis, pendekatan, problem posing

Abstract

The design which was used was post-test only control design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The purposive sampling technique was used to take two classes as the research samples. The data of this research were obtained by test of understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on the result and discussion, it could be concluded that guided discovery approach was effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concept. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan penemuan terbimbing ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk mengambil dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share Type towards Students’ Mathematical Representation Skill. The population of this research was students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang in academic year of 2017/2018 as much as 112 students that were distributed into four classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII C and VIII D as samples. The design which was used in this research was the pretest-posttest design control group design. The data analysis which was used was t test. The result of this research show that enhancement of mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with TPS model higher than mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with convensional model.  Based on the results and working through of research, the conclusion of the research is the TPS model was influence to student’s mathematical representation skill. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 112 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII C dan VIII D sebagai sampel. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran TPS lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: pengaruh, representasi matematis, think pair share

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of problem based learning model in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts. The design of this research was posttest only control design with the population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 and the samples of this research were students of VII 2 and VII 3 class that were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data of understanding of mathematical concepts were obtained by test. The result of this research concluded that the implementation of problem based learning model was effective in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts and more effective than conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest-only control design dengan populasinya seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Kartika II-2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII 2dan VII 3 yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: efektivitas, pemahaman konsep, pembelajaran berbasis masalah

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the influence of think pair share learning model towards students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 12 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-B and VIII-C class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used the pretest posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical communication skill. Data analysis for testing of hypothesis in this research used t-test. Based on the research and discussion it was concluded that the Think Pair Share Learning Model has no effects towards the students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 12 kelas. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of problem based learning model viewed by students mathematical problem solving skill. This research population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Cermin in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into eight classes, then it was taken two classes as samples by purposive random sampling technique. This research data were obtained by test mathematical problem solving skill. Based on the result of research, it could be concluded that problem based learning model was effective viewed by students mathematical problem solving skill and it was more effective than conventional learning.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Padang Cermin tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari delapan kelas, kemudian diambil dua kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model problem based learning efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: efektivitas, pemecahan masalah,problem based learning

Abstract

This research aimed to develop student worksheet learner (LKPD) development using guided inquiry model in facilitating communication skills and communication disposition. The type of research used development research of Borg Gall. The result procedure was preliminary research, designing student worksheet making and preparation of learning instruments, expert test, and small group test on research subject. Data collecting technique used observation techniques, documentation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The subjects of this research were students of class XI IPS 3 (Social science) at SMAN 1 Pringsewu academic year 2016-2017. Based on the research result of LKPD Guided Inquiry Model could facilitate students communication skills and disposition communication of the problems on LKPD. The result and learning process showed that student worksheet guided inquiry model made communication skills and disposition of mathematical communication of facilitated students could be seen from achievment all indicators of communication skill and disposition of mathematics.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan LKPD model inkuiri terbimbing untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi komunikasi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan Borg Gall. Prosedur penelitian yaitu penelitian pendahuluan, mendesain pembuatan LKPD dan penyusunan instrumen pembelajaran, uji ahli, uji keterbacaan, uji kelompok terbatas, dan uji kelompok kecil pada subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Subjek dalam penelitian pengembangan LKPD model inkuiri terbimbing pada kelas XI IPS 3 di SMA Negeri 1 tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian LKPD model inkuiri terbimbing dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi komunikasi siswa dari masalah-masalah pada LKPD. Hasil dan proses pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Model Inkuiri Terbimbing membuat kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi komunikasi matematis siswa terfasilitasi terlihat dari tercapainya semua indikator kemampuan komunikasi dan disposisi komunikasi.Kata kunci : Komunikasi, disposisi, LKPD, inkuiri terbimbing

Abstract

This research was aimed to produce students worksheet based on guided inquiry and find out its effectiveness towards students mathematical communication ability. The research subject was grade VII students in SMPN 14 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017. The stages of development were research and information collecting, students worksheet prepartion, students worksheet validation, preliminary field testing and main field testing. The data of this research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs, and mathematical communication ability test. The materi and media expert said that of the students worksheet development was valid. The result of main field testing showed that the students mathematical communication ability that used students worksheet based on PBL more than students mathematical communication ability that didnt use students worksheet. In conclusion this research that the students worksheet based on PBL was effective to increase students mathematical communication ability.Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis PBL dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 14 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Tahapan pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes komunikasi matematis. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut ahli materi dan ahli media, praktis digunakan menurut siswa. Hasil akhir pada uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL lebih tinggi dari pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang tidak menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa LKPD berbasis PBL efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci :komunikasi matematis,LKPD, PBL.
