Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze : external factors in order to identify opportunities and threats of Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore; internal factors in order to identify strengths and weaknesses of Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore; business position of  Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore, and; the most relevant strategies used in business for Gramedia Duta Plaza Bookstore in the future. To answer the aims of this study, a research was conducted with nine people on the key management as main respondents, and seven external respondents for confirmation. SWOT analysis method  is used to find external factors and internal factors of the company. The analytical technique used was IE Matrix. The results showed that an adequate strategy to be implemented by the company in the future is a strategy to grow and develop (growth and build). The implication of the research object in the future is to bring the attention of management to focusing on the strategies facing "discount war” made vigorously by competitors, maximizing the company's strategic location to optimize the limited space, creating an independent creative promotion to answer the centralized promotion system, and evaluating the procurement system by supplying best seller products, and products required by consumers.

Abstract

Service  quality is an attitude and behavior of people in providing services according to the needs, desires and expectations of consumers being served.  A better service quality able to increase satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality towards customer satisfaction and loyalty. This research was conducted  in  Cooperative  of  Dadirah, using 64 members of cooperative as a sample. Data were collected by conducting interviews and questionnaires. Subsequently collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The results of this study shows that service quality which is given by cooperativa of Dadirah  have positive and significant effect towards customer satisfaction and loyalty,  but the satisfaction is found not significant positive effect on customer loyalty. The implications of this study indicate that the service quality plays an important role in creating customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Abstract

Nowadays notebook is not a luxurious thing any more, but has been one of  the things that should be obligatorily owned by high school student, university student, and practitioners. The competition among the notebooks has been getting tight. The reason is that they have been produced with almost similar attributes, qualities, and design but different prices. This study aims at (1) identifying the similarity between the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) and those produced by its competitors such as, IBM, Sony, Acer and Toshiba, (2) identifying the consumers perception of the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) and of those produced by its competitors, (3) identifying what is the superiority of the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) compared with the superiority of those produced by its competitors, and (4) identifying what strategy is relevant in strengthening the positioning of the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp). The samples were determined by purposive sampling, and the respondents employed totaled 100 spreading over Denpasar City. To achieve maximum result, Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) was applied as the instrument of analysis to identify the similarity among the notebooks and Correspondence Analysis (CA) was employed as the instrument of analysis to identify the superiority of each variable of every notebook. The result of the study show that the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) is perceived to resemble those produced by IBM, Sony, and Toshiba. This means that the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) competes against those produced by IBM, Sony, and Toshiba, and that it does not compete against that produced by Acer. The notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp) is superior in the variables of product varieties, post sales, distribution channels, and promotion. The notebook produced by IBM superior in the variable product quality, while that produced by Sony is superior in the variable of product  design, that produced by Toshiba is superior in the variable of  brand image, and that produced by Acer is superior in the variable of price. To strengthen the positioning of the notebook produced by Hewlett Packard (hp), the relevant strategy is perpetually differentiating the product, maintaining the superior variable by creating new varieties, continuously improving the post sales service to every customer, expanding the distribution channels to the regencies, and keeping increasing promotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of demographic on consumer complaining behavior central laundry service user industry in the city of Denpasar. This study used a qualitative research using questionnaires to 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis and chi square. It was found that the characteristics of age, income, education level had a significant relationship with the consumer complaint behavior in service, laundry services, where more than 25 years of age, high income, high education, and consumers who are female tend to submit complaints on services central laundry but did not take any action. Furthermore, the difference between male consumers and women in which consumers are the male sex preferring personal action.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuanxpenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahuixpengaruh brand awareness terhadap purchasexintention dimediasi oleh perceived quality dan brand loyalty. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada industri air minum dalam kemasan Merek Kaori di wilayah Denpasar dengan ukuran sampel yang digunakan sebesar 80 responden berdasarkan metode angket. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang digunakan untuk mengukur 16 indikator berbasis metode analisis PLS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa variabel brand awareness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention dan brand loyalty. Brand loyalty berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Brand awareness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perceived quality. Perceived quality berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap brand loyalty dan purchase intention. Brand loyalty mampu memediasi perceive quality terhadap purchase intention. Dan perceived quality mampu memediasi brand awareness terhadap purchase intention. Kata kunci : brand awareness, brand loyalty, perceived quality, purchase intention

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di era globalisasi membawa banyak perubahan, ditandai dengan hadirnya smartphone. Salah satu merek yang beredar di pasar Indonesia adalah Smartphone Samsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh citra merek dan kepercayaan terhadap niat beli, serta peran kepercayaan memediasi pengaruh citra merek terhadap niat beli smartphone Samsung di Kota Denpasar. Ukuran sampel sebanyak 110 orang. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis jalur serta uji sobel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa citra merek berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap niat beli. Citra merek berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepercayaan. Kepercayaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap niat beli. Hasil menunjukkan kepercayaan secara positif serta signifikan dapat memediasi pengaruh citra merek terhadap niat beli.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi nilai terhadap kepercayaan dan niat beli ulang, pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap niat beli ulang dan untuk mengetahui peran kepercayaan di dalam memediasi pengaruh persepsi nilai terhadap niat beli ulang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengguna jasa dekorasi Heaven Flow Decoration di Kota Denpasar dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dianalisis dengan path analysis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi nilai dan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif signfikan terhadap niat beli ulang; persepsi nilai berpengaruh positif signfikan terhadap kepercayaan; dan kepercayaan secara positif signifikan memediasi pengaruh persepsi nilai terhadap niat beli ulang pelanggan. Heaven Flow Decoration dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan dengan menunjukkan integritas dan etika yang baik sehingga pelanggan akan berminat untuk membeli kembali produk layanan yang sama ataupun berbeda Kata kunci : persepsi nilai, kepercayaan, niat beli ulang

Abstract

Globalization has affected in the economic matters, where consumer decision becomes more complicate selecting or purchasing competitive brands in the global market place. The study aims to determine the effect of brand image, brand awareness, and product quality against the purchase decision of Apple products in Denpasar city. The sample size used by 112 respondents, with a non-probability sampling method, especially purposive sampling. Analysis technique was using are multiple regression. The results of this study showed these independent variables are brand image, brand awareness, and product quality has a positive and significant effect with the purchase decision of Apple products in Denpasar city. The study suggests that the management and marketing department of the Apple manufacturer, especially Apple reseller in Denpasar city to inform these research to the Apple manufacturer in order to maintain brand image, brand awareness, quality products that will influence the consumer's decision to buy Apple products.Apple manufacturer ought to maintain brand image, brand awareness and product quality which will influence the consumer’s decision to purchasing Apple products.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of materialism and internet addiction on online impulse buying behavior. Number of samples of this study was 140 respondents who have been through certain criteria. Based on the regression analysis and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA),each of materialism and internet addiction significantly has positive effect on online impulsive buying behavior, but materialism are not shown to act as a moderating the relationship between internet addiction and online impulse buying behavior. Online marketers in Indonesia are advised to shows more the benefits of the product by promoting the emotional element, so that consumers feel their ownership of the product will make it happier and look better. Marketers can use social media to spread information as well as interact with consumers, so that consumers can easily get information about existing products and promotions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran shopping enjoyment memediasi hedonic motivation terhadap impulse buying. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada konsumen Stradivarius Beachwalk. Ukuran sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 105 responden, dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan shopping enjoyment mampu memediasi secara parsial hedonic motivation terhadap impulse buying. Selanjutnya hedonic motivation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying; hedonic motivation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap shopping enjoyment; shopping enjoyment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying; serta shopping enjoyment berperan sebagai variabel mediasi antara hedonic motivation dan impulse buying. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini disarankan bahwa hedonic motivation dan shopping enjoyment yang baik sangat mempengaruhi impulse buying konsumen di Stradivarius Beachwalk.
