Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk dan konsumsi listrik di Bandar Lampung yang meningkat 0,89% pada 2022 menuntut manajemen energi yang bijak di rumah tangga. Ibu rumah tangga (IRT) di Koperasi Kuntum Bunga memainkan peran penting dalam mengurangi dampak penggunaan energi fosil yang meningkatkan emisi karbon dan kerusakan lingkungan. Melalui pendampingan, 70% peserta memahami dan menerapkan audit serta manajemen energi rumah tangga. Upaya ini berkontribusi pada pencapaian SDGs Goal 5, 7, 11, 13, dan 15. Penerapan manajemen energi yang efektif mendukung penghematan energi, menurunkan emisi gas rumah kaca, serta meningkatkan ketahanan lingkungan dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Dengan demikian, manajemen energi di tingkat rumah tangga dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi keberlanjutan lingkungan dan kehidupan sosial di Kota Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This research aims to determine behavioral aspects in the budget preparation process that occurs at the Undaan Eye Hospital, Surabaya. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely by explaining, describing and comparing the data with existing theories and then analyzing it to obtain a conclusion. Data was obtained by field observation by conducting interviews and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the Undaan Eye Hospital in Surabaya has implemented a participatory work program and budget preparation process using a bottom up model, namely an approach model where each implementing manager is given the freedom to determine activities and work programs. Top management control over behavior in budget preparation and budget implementation has been carried out well with monthly reports and the use of technology and information systems.

Abstract

Energy determines the development and sustainability of economic system, social change and political growth in a country. Because of that, the energy crisis is the crisis of growth and sustainability of life system. Auto-vehicle is a certain transportation mode which an engine requiring fuel. To decrease the fuel consumption, we can use the natural resource like fly ash of shell and fiber of palm. The objective of this research is to observe the effect of the variation of mass and activation temperature in producing pelletized fly ash on performance and emission of a four-stroke petrol motorcycle. This research was done by implementing several variations of test, those were test of fuel comsumption at speed of  50km/hour for 5 km and stationer at 1500, 3500, and 5000 rpm. The fly ash used in this research was 10 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thicknes. Those fly ash were wrapped in a frame and put in an air filter of New Jupiter Z 110 cc. So the combustion air fistly contacted with the fly ash before entering into the combustion chamber. From the results, the best fly ash mass used P•—nƒì ?‡ and the best temperature activation is 175 oC. Those fly ash can save the fuel consumption by 17.23 % (road test) and 20.06% (stasioner test).  Keywords : fly ash adsorbent, combustion air treatment, emission

Abstract

Toddlers’ caries prevalence is influenced by some factors such as social status, economic status, parents' educational background, and dietary pattern. Caries in toddlers have a negative impact on their quality of life. The objectives of this research are to analyze the differences in Oral Health Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL) by gender. Analytical observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The research population is toddlers with their parents in the Silo II Health Centre work area. The sample is 3-5 years toddlers as many as 71 respondents. The variables studied were Oral Health Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL) of male and female toddlers with the Ecohis index measuring instrument. The research data were tabulated and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The majority of respondents were female toddlers (57.7%), the age range of 60-71 months (57.7%), parents’ last education is elementary school (49.3%), with an income of less than 2 million per month (59.1%). There are no differences in Oral Health Related Quality of Life of male and female toddlers with a p-value of 0.404. There are no differences in Oral Health Related Quality of Life between female and male toddlers

Abstract

Tuberculosis Disease remains a public health problem in Indonesia, with the country facing a triple burden of TB, namely the incidence of TB-HIV, Drug-Resistant TB (DR-TB), and Drug-Sensitive TB (DS-TB) simultaneously (Global Tuberculosis Report, 2019). The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Household Environmental Quality and Health Behavior on the Incidence of Tuberculosis in Jember Regency. This research is a quantitative analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design and purposive sampling technique, involving 105 respondents. After conducting the research, it can be concluded that the variable related to the incidence of Pulmonary TB is the practice of Pulmonary TB prevention, while the variables of wall type, floor type, ventilation area, presence of ceiling, and occupancy density are not related. Half of the respondents have poor behavior regarding tuberculosis prevention in Jember Regency.This research emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of the household environment and health behavior to reduce the incidence of tuberculosis in Jember Regency.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2030 Indonesia menargetkan  pengurangan emisi hingga 29% dengan upaya sendiri dan 41% dengan bantuan internasional. Optimalisasi penggunaan energi termal dapat menekan laju emisi karbon. Kolektor termal juga dapat dioptimalkan sebagai teknologi pengeringan paska panen dalam menunjang pertanian berkelanjutan. Kolektor termal memiliki bergbagai macam jenis. Sebagai analisis awal karakteriristik perpindahan panas pada kolekor dimodelkan dengan mengunakan kolektor berbentuk V (V Groove). Distribusi Temperatur diamati dengan menggunakan komputasi dinamika fluida. Simulasi dilakukan diawali proses pemodelan, yaitu menentukan desain geometri dan material, melakukan meshing dan menentukan kondisi batas. Reynold number yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini 1500, 3000, dan 4500 yang masing-masing mewakili laminar, transisi, dan turbulen. Iradiasi matahari disimulasikan pada 1000, 800, dan 600 W/m2. Penelitian pendahuluan ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi bilangan Reynold semakin rendah temperatur udara keluar dan temperatur permukaan kolektor. Semakin besar iradiasi, semakin besar temperatur udara keluar kolektor dan temperatur permukaan kolektor yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently very rapid. The need for information is critical, especially in work, this need continues to grow along with users who want fast, safe, and efficient information. Sekolah Bina Bangsa is not directly connected to the network so it is very vulnerable to data leaks and can be considered less secure, so it is necessary to implement VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology. With VPN (Virtual Private Network), data delivery can be more secure because of the encryption method provided by this VPN technology. The OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) protocol is a technology that is applied to help reduce bandwidth in network usage because this protocol can determine the best path in choosing a network route, so it is expected to reduce the existing bandwidth. To prevent foreign devices that are not registered in the network system at school, the author proposes the implementation of Switch-port Security with a violation shutdown configuration. With this configuration, if a foreign device accesses the school network, it will automatically be shut down. Thus, by implementing the existing network system at Bina Bangsa School, it is hoped that data transmission between the Kebon Jeruk Campus and PIK can be carried out safely, can reduce bandwidth in the network, and also the internal network cannot be accessed carelessly by outsiders who are not registered in the network system at Bina Bangsa School.

Abstract

Increasing energy demand and the environmental impact of fossil fuel use have prompted the search for alternative and more sustainable energy sources. Calliandra wood (Calliandra Calothyrsus) as a renewable solid fuel has relatively high heating value and rapid growth. This study aims to examine the effect of residence time variation in the torrefaction process on the characteristics of Calliandra wood chips This research was conducted experimentally using a tubular-type continuous torrefaction reactor at two temperatures, namely 275 and 300°C, with three residence time variations: 10, 20, and 30 minutes. The main parameters analyzed included calorific value, proximate and ultimate composition, mass yield, and energy yield. The results showed that the longer the residence time, the heating value and carbon content continued to increase, but there was a decrease in mass and energy yield. At 300°C with a residence time of 30 minutes, the highest heating value was obtained at 6,399 kcal/kg, but the mass yield remained at 35%. In contrast, at 275°C with a residence time of 10 minutes, the heating value increased to 4,632 kcal/kg with a mass yield of 83%. Optimal conditions were obtained at 275°C with a residence time of 20 minutes, resulting in a heating value of 5,387 kcal/kg with a mass yield of 70%, which balanced the energy efficiency and the amount of biomass retained. Although the torrefaction process was shown to improve the quality of biomass as a solid fuel and the longer residence time resulted in higher energy, there was a trade-off in the form of reduced biomass mass. Torrefaction also makes the biomass more hydrophobic and resistant to biological damage. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of torrefaction technology to support the utilization of renewable energy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengelolaan troli bandara menghadirkan tantangan seperti pencurian, kerusakan, perawatan, kebersihan, dan keterbatasan mobilitas bagi pengguna. Troli Pengikut Manusia menawarkan solusi otonom untuk transportasi barang penumpang. Dengan menggunakan model R&D Borg & Gall, troli ini beroperasi melalui gerakan tangan yang terdeteksi oleh sarung tangan dengan sensor gyroscope. Mikrokontroler ESP-32 mengaktifkan troli melalui internet, sementara Arduino Mega memproses data untuk mengontrol gerakan melalui motor DC. Troli ini dapat bergerak ke berbagai arah, mendukung beban hingga 7,9 kg, dengan jangkauan deteksi 20 cm dan jangkauan respons hingga 30 meter. Proyek ini terintegrasi ke dalam kurikulum Otomasi Bandara program Teknologi Rekayasa Bandar Udara (TRBU), yang memperkaya pembelajaran dalam bidang otomasi bandara, IoT, dan robotika. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengikuti 8 dari 10 tahap Borg & Gall, yang meningkatkan pembelajaran secara sistematis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa troli ini mampu mempertahankan stabilitas dengan menyesuaikan sudut kemiringan terhadap kecepatan: inklinasi pitch naik 5° untuk setiap peningkatan 0,8–1,0 m/s, mencapai 90° pada kecepatan 15,0 m/s, sementara roll meningkat 2,5° per 0,8–1,0 m/s, mencapai 45°. Troli ini telah diverifikasi di Bandara Sultan Mahmud Badarrudin II, memberikan pelatihan yang berharga bagi para taruna di Politeknik Penerbangan Palembang.

Abstract

Ilmu Nahwu (gramatika bahasa Arab) merupakan salah satu cabang linguistik (ilmu lugah) dalam bahasa Arab yang mempelajari kaidah-kaidah dalam kebahasaan Arab. Diantara pembahasan dalam Ilmu nahwu yaitu Maf`ul Muthlaq dan Masdar, dimana pada kedua isim ini memiliki kesamaan dalam bentuknya, namun juga tidak dapat dikatakan sama. Maka dari itu, penulis menjadikan perbedaan dari kedua isim tadi sebagai pokok pembahasan dalam jurnal ini. Dalam penyusunan jurnal ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka, yang mana penulis mengumpulkan berbagai sumber data baik dari artikel maupun buku yang terkait dengan tema jurnal ini. Selain itu, penulis juga menggunakan metode kualitatif komparatif, yaitu menganalisis data untuk dapat menemukan persamaan dan perbedaan dari tema yang kami angkat. Hasil penelitian dalam jurnal ini berupa penjelasan mengenai Maf`ul Muthlaq, Masdar, dan tentunya perbedaan antara keduanya berdasarkan prespektif Ahli Nahwu.
