Abstract

Transformasi digital dan perkembangan industri kreatif menuntut lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) program Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) menguasai kompetensi teknis dan kreatif yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan industri. Namun, pembelajaran DKV di SMK masih menghadapi tantangan heterogenitas kemampuan siswa dan penerapan model instruksional yang seragam, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kesenjangan capaian belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran adaptif dalam pembelajaran DKV di SMK Negeri 1 Ponorogo, dengan fokus pada perancangan strategi adaptif oleh guru, kontribusinya terhadap perkembangan keterampilan desain digital, kreativitas visual, kemandirian belajar, serta dampaknya terhadap kesiapan profesional dan kualitas portofolio siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan guru produktif DKV, koordinator program keahlian, dan siswa kelas XI. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi pembelajaran studio, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis portofolio, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi adaptif yang mencakup pemetaan kemampuan awal, diferensiasi proyek desain, penyesuaian kompleksitas tugas, modul latihan software bertingkat, umpan balik personal berlapis, dan simulasi proyek industri terbukti efektif meningkatkan penguasaan teknis perangkat lunak, variasi gaya visual, kemampuan interpretasi brief, dan pengelolaan tenggat waktu. Pembelajaran adaptif juga mengubah portofolio siswa dari sekadar kumpulan tugas menjadi dokumentasi kompetensi profesional yang representatif. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi pendekatan adaptif dalam pendidikan vokasional DKV untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara pembelajaran studio dan tuntutan industri kreatif. Disarankan agar SMK mengadopsi kerangka pembelajaran adaptif dengan dukungan infrastruktur memadai, serta diperlukan penelitian longitudinal untuk melacak dampak jangka panjang terhadap kinerja lulusan di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) merupakan pendekatan belajar yang menekankan pemahaman konsep secara reflektif, analitis, dan aplikatif, sehingga murid mampu mengaitkan pengetahuan, menstransfer konsep, serta menerapkannya dalam berbagai konteks. Di SMK, pendekatan ini menjadi penting karena lulusan tidak hanya dituntut memiliki kemampuan teknis dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang mendukung kesiapan kerja dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peranan psikologi pendidikan dalam mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran mendalam pada proses belajar mengajar di SMKN 1 Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library reseaach) dengan menelaah berbagai teori dan hasil penelitian terkait psikologi belajar, perkembangan kognitif murid, motivasi belajar, dan strategi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik murid SMK. Literatur yang dikaji dipilih berdasarkan beberapa kriteria, yaitu: (1) relevansi dengan topik pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) dan psikologi pendidikan; (2) bersumber dari buku ilmiah dan artikel jurnal bereputasi; (3) dipublikasikan dalam rentang sepuluh tahun terakhir, kecuali teori klasik yang masih relevan secara konseptual; serta (4) memiliki kredibilitas akademik yang ditunjukkan melalui proses telaah sejawat (peer review). Proses analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi, membandingkan, dan mensintesis temuan-temuan utama dari berbagai sumber untuk memperoleh pemahaman komprehensif mengenai peranan psikologi pendidikan dalam mendukung pembelajaran mendalam di SMK Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa psikologi pendidikan berperan penting dalam pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) yaitu dengan menggeser pembelajaran dari pendekatan permukaan yang berorentasi pada hafalan menuju pembelajaran reflektif, analitis, dan berbasis pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Background – Competency in analyzing business opportunities is a fundamental component of the Entrepreneurship and Crafts (PKWU) subject in the Indonesian curriculum. However, students often experience difficulties due to the abstract and complex nature of business analysis concepts, particularly in market, financial, and risk analysis. Research Objective – This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of EBizmate, an interactive digital learning media designed as a project-based business simulation platform, to enhance students’ competence in analyzing business opportunities. Research Method – This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The developed media was validated by experts in learning media, subject matter, and instructional design. Effectiveness testing was conducted using a quasi-experimental design involving 60 vocational high school students. Research Findings – The results indicated a significant improvement in business analysis competence among students using eBizmate. The experimental group achieved an N-Gain score of 0.64 (p < 0.001), which was higher than the control group’s N-Gain score of 0.34, with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.21). These findings demonstrate that eBizmate effectively enhances students’ abilities in market analysis, financial analysis, and risk assessment. Research Conclusion – The study concludes that eBizmate is a valid, practical, and effective digital learning medium for supporting experiential learning and structured scaffolding within the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) framework in vocational entrepreneurship education. Research Novelty/Contribution – This research contributes an empirically validated model for integrating simulation-based digital learning media with Project-Based Learning to improve business opportunity analysis competence in vocational high school entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

The transformation of 21st-century education demands a continuous and contextual learning approach that aligns with the characteristics of Generation Z and Generation Alpha students. However, learning practices across educational levels remain fragmented, resulting in unsystematic development of student competencies. This study aims to examine the continuum paradigm in synchronizing problem-based learning from elementary to vocational high school levels by utilizing the local culture of Reog Ponorogo as a learning context. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, curriculum document analysis, and contextual observations in Ponorogo Regency. The findings indicate that the continuum paradigm enables the progressive development of student competencies, starting from basic inquiry skills in elementary school, strengthening critical and analytical thinking in high school, and applying practical competencies aligned with local culture-based creative industries in vocational high school. The main output of this study is a conceptual continuum framework that synthesizes learning models, strategies, methods, and problem-based learning approaches across educational levels within a local cultural context. The integration of Reog Ponorogo into problem-based learning enhances learning relevance, strengthens cultural identity, and supports student readiness for workforce demands. This study is expected to serve as a conceptual reference for the development of sustainable and integrated local culture-based learning designs.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in Indonesia have long been recognized as indigenous educational institutions that play a strategic role in shaping individuals with strong moral and religious character. This study aims to analyze the mechanism of moral character formation among pesantren students through the integration of Information Processing Theory, the Cognitive-Behavior perspective, and Qur’anic values. The research employs a qualitative library research approach focusing on conceptual analysis and theoretical synthesis rather than field-based numerical data. Data sources consist of primary references such as the Qur’an and authoritative works in cognitive and educational psychology, supported by secondary sources including accredited journals and classical as well as contemporary Qur’anic commentaries. Data were collected through systematic documentation and analyzed using descriptive content analysis following the interactive model of Matthew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman. The findings reveal that moral formation in pesantren is not an instant or mystical process, but a structured cognitive-spiritual mechanism involving attention, encoding, storage, and retrieval of moral information reinforced by repetition, modeling, and reflective practices. The Cognitive-Behavior framework underscores the significant role of the kyai as a living model shaping students’ belief systems and behavioral schemas, while Qur’anic concepts such as tadabbur, tazkiyatun nafs, and muraqabah function as metacognitive and spiritual control mechanisms. Theoretically, this study contributes by proposing an integrative conceptual model that bridges modern cognitive psychology and Islamic educational thought, demonstrating that moral character formation can be systematically explained through information-processing architecture enriched by cognitive-behavioral constructs and grounded in Qur’anic epistemology. This model extends the application of Information Processing Theory beyond academic learning into the domain of moral education, recontextualizes Cognitive-Behavior principles within a faith-based institutional setting, and offers a multidisciplinary framework for understanding character education as a structured cognitive-spiritual process. The study concludes that pesantren education represents an integrated cognitive-spiritual ecosystem that systematically cultivates sustainable moral character.
