Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employee experience on employee productivity in service sector companies located in West Java Province, Indonesia. Employee experience is assessed through four main dimensions: work technology, organizational culture, leadership, and employee well-being. The study adopts a quantitative explanatory research approach. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 permanent employees across various service-based companies. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed using SPSS software. The results show that all dimensions of employee experience have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with leadership emerging as the most dominant factor. The regression model demonstrates an R square value of 0.507, indicating that 50.7% of the variability in employee productivity can be explained by the four dimensions of employee experience. These findings highlight the importance of strategically managing employee experience as an effective managerial approach to enhancing both individual and organizational performance.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is one of the mental disorders that has reached 24 million cases out of 300 million cases of mental disorders in the world. The most common symptom that appears in schizophrenia is hallucinations, especially auditory hallucinations which are the most common cases of hallucinations where patients hear false voices. In minimizing the impact and reducing the signs and symptoms of hallucinations, there are several ways that can be used, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. One of the nonpharmacological therapies that can be used is drawing therapy. The purpose of this case study is to determine the application of drawing therapy to reduce signs and symptoms in patients with auditory hallucination disorder. The theories underlying this scientific paper are schizophrenia, hallucinations, mental health care and scheduled activities which include the theory of drawing therapy. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach in two patients with auditory hallucination disorder. The results obtained showed a decrease in signs and symptoms after drawing therapy. The patient's ability also increased in controlling his hallucinations. The conclusion of this case study shows that drawing therapy is proven effective to control and reduce the signs and symptoms of hallucinations. It is expected that patients and families can cooperate in the treatment process, especially by increasing family support, client interest and motivation, and always controlling clients in drug compliance.

Abstract

The prevalence of mental disorders in Tasikmalaya City continues to increase, based on the results of a preliminary study that the number of patients with mental disorders registered at the Tamansari Health Center is 60 people, while data on risk disorders and mentally healthy communities is not yet available. Therefore, the community service team will train mentally healthy cadres to be able to identify through early detection of mental health problems, provide mental health counseling and be able to apply SEFT therapy so that the community can maintain their health. This community service activity is a training activity for 30 mentally healthy cadres, with the material provided being early detection of mental health problems and mental health counseling activities as well as training cadres with SEFT therapy as an independent disaster response effort. with lecture methods, questions and answers, and role play. The activity was carried out in a series of community service programs for the IPTEKS for the community (IbM) Tasikmalaya Health Polytechnic. The activity was carried out in June-November 2024. The results of the training showed that the cadre's knowledge score about early detection and community mental health counseling techniques increased by 12.2 points compared to before. Statistically, using the Wilcoxon test, the results showed a difference in the average knowledge score before and after training, with a significance level of ρ = 0.0001 (ρ <0.05). It is expected that after being given training, the posyandu cadres will contribute to increasing community knowledge about mental health through counseling activities, providing guidance and monitoring to families who have family members with mental disorders and can apply SEFT therapy to people who experience psychosocial disorders. The conclusion is that there is an increase in the knowledge of mental health cadres after being given training

Abstract

Based on Riskesdas 2018, the prevalence of depression in Indonesia among individuals aged 15 and above reached 6.1%, with 2% originating from the Gen Z group (ages 15–24). This indicates the potential for psychological crises such as the Quarter life crisis (QLC). QLC commonly occurs between the ages of 18–30, especially among university students. Anxiety about the future, academic pressure, career uncertainty, and high social expectations contribute to the stress that leads to QLC. One intervention that can be provided is expressive writing therapy combined with self efficacy or self belief. This study aims to determine the effect of expressive writing therapy combined with self efficacy on QLC scores. The theoretical concepts underpinning this research include QLC, expressive writing therapy, and self efficacy. The method used is quantitative pre-experimental with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 48 university students selected through simple random sampling. The intervention was conducted over four days within one week. Data were analyzed using a dependent t-test. The quarter life crisis instrument used in this study. The results showed a significant decrease in QLC scores from 4.4385 to 3.4427, with a reduction difference of 0.99583. The p-value was 0.000 (ρ < 0.05), indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This research demonstrates that expressive writing therapy combined with self-efficacy is effective in reducing Quarter life crisis scores among university students.

Abstract

Final year students often experience stress in the process of preparing their final project which can interfere with mental health and reduce academic quality. Stress is an individual's inability to deal with challenges that are being faced by someone. This condition can be triggered by various things, such as physical pressure, social situations and even uncontrolled environments that can ultimately have an impact on one's own condition. Management of this stress can be done non-pharmacologically which does not involve drugs, but uses other methods such as by performing a combination of classical music therapy and progressive muscle relaxation. Objective: to determine the effect of a combination of classical music therapy and progressive muscle relaxation on the stress score of D-III Nursing students at Bakti Tunas Husada University. The theoretical basis underlying this research is stress, students and classical music therapy and progressive muscle relaxation. Method: using pre experiment with one-group pretest- posttest design on 50 final year students. Sampling using Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using the Dependent T test. Results: showed that there was a significant decrease before and after the intervention with an average difference in stress scores of 8.96 with a p-value of 0.000 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Conclusion: There is an effect of the combination of classical music therapy and progressive muscle relaxation in reducing stress scores.

Abstract

Abstract

Labor pain during the active phase of the first stage of labor is often intense and can lead to maternal exhaustion, stress, and prolonged delivery if not effectively managed. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of pelvic rocking with gymball compared to breathing relaxation techniques in reducing labor pain intensity among mothers at Gandrungmangu II Health Center, Cilacap Regency. A quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest method was employed. Forty laboring mothers were selected using purposive sampling and divided equally into two intervention groups. Pain intensity was measured using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) before and after the intervention. The pelvic rocking group performed exercises on a gymball, while the control group practiced breathing relaxation during contractions. The results showed a significant decrease in mean pain scores in both groups, with a more substantial reduction in the gymball group (from 8.30 to 3.10) compared to the breathing group (from 8.05 to 6.80). The p-value obtained was 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two methods. This study concludes that pelvic rocking with gymball is a more effective non-pharmacological technique for managing labor pain. It is recommended to integrate this method into standard intrapartum care in primary health facilities, supported by structured training and implementation protocols. Further research should explore its impact on labor duration, maternal satisfaction, and neonatal outcomes to enhance maternal health services.
