Abstract

This research is motivated by the Block Model which is 1 of 3 models in implementing mandatory scouting in schools. This model must be carried out once a year for all students. In general, schools more often carry out extramural or outdoor block-style activities, better known as block camps. However, it is quite sad that there is no research or evaluation of the implementation of this system, which should require a control in order to assess whether the block camp system can still be relevant to be implemented or routinely carried out every year, especially in improving disciplinary attitudes for students so that researchers want to take a role and become an angler as proof and evaluation of the implementation of the block camp. This research method uses quantitative methods with a statistical approach. The data collection instrument used in this research was a questionnaire consisting of 29 statement items. The population in this study was 278 people and the sample taken in this study was 25% of the total population to 69 informants, namely class XI using the Proportional Random Sampling Technique. Based on the results of research on the influence of block camp on the discipline of class XI at the Ikasari Pharmacy Vocational School, Pekanbaru, it can be concluded that: There is an influence of block camp on the discipline of class XI students at the Ikasari Pharmacy Vocational School, Pekanbaru.

Abstract

In an effort to create a generation of people with a disciplined character, teachers are expected to be able to choose and implement their role as educators who can shape the disciplined character of students. The formulation of the problem in this research is the role of teachers in forming the disciplinary character of students at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of teachers in forming the disciplined character of students at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this research explain that the role of the teacher is not only to teach but also to act as an educator, as an educator, as an advisor, as a motivator, as a guide and as an evaluator which will later be able to produce students who are disciplined in neatness, disciplined in crafts, disciplined in environmental cleanliness, disciplined in managing study time. and discipline in behavior. Based on the results of data analysis, there are also factors that influence the role of teachers, namely supporting factors in the formation of students' disciplined character through school activities, the cooperative relationship between parents and the school in student development. And while the inhibiting factors in forming students' disciplined character are that there are limited teachers in supervising students' interactions with friends outside of school, students do not understand the use of advanced technology and there is a lack of participation from some students' parents in monitoring and complying with school regulations at SMA Negeri 5 Pinggir.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurred at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of observations, there is a lack of spiritual intelligence among students, which can be seen from the way students speak using dirty words that are inappropriate for being a madrasa student and neglecting to perform prayers. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of Rohis extracurriculars on the spiritual intelligence of students at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were 60 students who took part in the Rohis extracurricular at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. Sample determination was carried out using the total technique. sampling. The data collection methods used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data processing uses quantitative descriptive statistical analysis using a simple linear regression formula with the help of the SPSS version 25 application. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of spiritual extracurriculars on students' spiritual intelligence, namely 44%. Thus, the hypothesis in this research is accepted, which indicates that the Rohis extracurricular has a positive effect on the spiritual intelligence of students at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. This is reinforced by the calculation results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.440, which shows that the Rohis extracurricular variable has an influence of 44.0% on students' spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of observations made at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, indicating that there are still Paskibra members with a low level of responsibility. This is evidenced by the fact that some Paskibra members rarely practice without repeated explanations, and they practice without carrying training attributes such as hats and complete tags during Paskibra training. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of Paskibra extracurricular activities on the responsible character of students at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The population and sample in this research consisted of 55 students who participated in Paskibra extracurricular activities. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data processing involved statistical analysis using a simple linear regression formula, which yielded an F calculated value of 29.073, exceeding the F table value of 4.02. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that the variable (Paskibra Extracurricular Activities) has a 35.4% influence on the variable Y, Student Responsibility Character.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the results of observations out at MTs Attaufiqiyah that problems were found such as students behaving disrespectfully towards parents and teachers, students smoking in the school environment, student dressing inappropriately according to school rules, and mutual bullying among students. The formulation of the problem in this research is wheter there is an influence of muhadharah extracurricular activities on the formation of students’ religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah. The population in this study was all 100 MTs Attaufiqiyah students and sampling in this study used the Isaac and Michael formula with an error rate of 5 %, so that out of the 100 students taken as samples there were 78 students. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. Processing the data using a simple linear regression formula is obtained by Fcount ≥ Ftable, namely 41.126 ≥ 3,967, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that variable (Religious Character) 0f 37,3 %.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are influenced by various complex factors, ranging from learning interest and the school environment to the accuracy of material transformation strategies in the classroom. Field phenomena indicate that the low mastery of Pancasila Education materials often stems from a lack of active student involvement in a one-way learning process. One of the primary causes of this condition is the dominance of conventional methods that have not optimized the integration of digital technology as an interaction medium. This study aims to analyze the influence of implementing the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) method on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education among 11th-grade students at SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The research method used is quantitative with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 80 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation. The results of the Independent Sample T-Test showed that (5.701 > 1.991), indicating a significant effect of the TEL method implementation. Based on the N-Gain test, the experimental class obtained a score of 0.67 (medium category), outperforming the control class which was in the low category. This study concludes that the TEL method can create a more interactive and effective learning atmosphere in improving student learning outcomes compared to conventional approaches.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Kahoot learning media on the learning interest of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru in Pancasila Education. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of 336 students, while the sample included 70 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through a learning-interest questionnaire covering enjoyment, student involvement, attention and concentration, and learning attraction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, Independent Sample t-Test, and Cohen’s d effect size analysis. The results showed that Kahoot had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning interest, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The experimental class mean score increased from 57.83 to 68.29, while the control class reached 57.91. Cohen’s d value of 1.47 indicated a large effect. Therefore, Kahoot is effective in improving students’ learning interest in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the implementation of democratic values in Pancasila Education learning can improve democratic attitudes among eleventh-grade students at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The background of this research stems from student behavior that shows a lack of democratic attitude, such as not respecting friends' opinions, low tolerance in group discussions, and a tendency to behave individualistically. This research applies a descriptive qualitative approach by gathering data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants involved in this study consisted of the vice principal of curriculum, the Pancasila Education teacher, and eleventh-grade students. Data analysis was carried out through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions, with data validity tested using source and technique triangulation. The results indicated that the implementation of democratic values in Pancasila Education has been carried out using group discussion methods, consensus building (musyawarah), freedom of expression, and habituating mutual respect in class. The teacher functions as a facilitator who creates opportunities for students to participate actively and serves as a model for democratic behavior. Students' democratic attitudes can be seen from their increased courage to express opinions, ability to respect differences, tolerance, and readiness to accept group decisions. Some challenges are still encountered, such as limited learning time, variation in student character, and the lack of active participation from all students in discussions. Overall, the implementation of democratic values contributes positively to enhancing students' democratic attitudes in daily social interaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh bullying verbal terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri Satu Atap Teluk Kelasa, Kecamatan Keritang, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei asosiatif kausal. Seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 60 siswa dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying verbal berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti hipotesis penelitian diterima. Nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,532 mengindikasikan bahwa setiap peningkatan tingkat bullying verbal akan diikuti oleh penurunan motivasi belajar siswa secara bermakna. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,283 menunjukkan bahwa bullying verbal memberikan kontribusi sebesar 28,3% terhadap variasi motivasi belajar siswa. Sementara itu, sebesar 71,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian, seperti lingkungan keluarga, metode pembelajaran, dukungan guru, maupun faktor internal siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan adanya hubungan yang berbanding terbalik antara bullying verbal dan motivasi belajar. Artinya, semakin tinggi intensitas bullying verbal yang dialami siswa, maka semakin rendah motivasi belajar mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung, yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan waktu luang di luar jam sekolah. Sebagian siswa masih menggunakan waktu luang untuk bermain game online dan media sosial sehingga belum sepenuhnya menunjang kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan waktu luang di luar jam sekolah terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan populasi 187 siswa dan sampel 47 siswa (25%) melalui proportional random sampling. Instrumen berupa angket dan dokumentasi nilai. Hasil menunjukkan Fhitung > Ftabel (55,585 > 4,06) sehingga H0 ditolak. Nilai R² sebesar 55,3% menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 32,309 + 0,802X. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada fokus kajian yang menganalisis pemanfaatan waktu luang di luar jam sekolah terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di tingkat SMK serta memberikan bukti empiris mengenai kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.
