Abstract

This research aims to state and analyze the nature and type of leadership of President Joko Widodo based on the perceptions of Riau University students. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive, the primary data collection instruments used in this research are questionnaires or commonly called questionnaires and interviews which consist of 2 indicators, each of which has 5 and 10 sub-indicators with 40 statements. The population in this study were Riau University students. Sampling from the entire population used the Quota Sampling technique, so that the researchers gave a quota of 10 people in 10 faculties at Riau University. Based on the research results, it was found that the average percentage value of respondents’ alternative answers was 62.2%, this percentage was in the “Good” category with a range of 50.01%-75,00%. Thus, it can be concluded that the overall results of research on Riau University Students’ Perceptions of President Joko Widodo’s Leadership are in the “Good” category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by political changes in Indonesia, which are followed by increasing issues of decentralization and democratization. The research is directed at evaluating the implementation of Good Governance in Duri Barat Subdistrict, with the aim of explaining field conditions, analyzing government governance, and identifying the influence of Good Governance principles on government governance. This research is quantitative research that uses a statistical approach to analyze the observed symptoms. Conducted in Duri Barat Subdistrict, Duri City, Riau Province, from March to April 2023. The population of this research was all government employees in Duri Barat Subdistrict, with sampling using total sampling because the population was less than 100. The data collected consisted of data primary through questionnaires and interviews. The research instrument includes Good Governance and government governance variables. The data analysis techniques used include simple linear regression analysis, t test, and coefficient of determination test to determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Based on the data obtained from 14 employees which were then processed and tested, conclusions can be drawn from the overall results of the test results analysis. Simple linear regression explains that for every additional percentage of Good Governance, government governance increases positively.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the role of parents' level of education in guiding and directing their children in the learning process, especially in student learning disciplines. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence between the level of parental education on the learning discipline of PPKn FKIP Riau University students. This research uses quantitative research methods carried out in the PPKn FKIP study program at Riau University with data collection methods using questionnaires and statistical data analysis using SPSS Version 20. Based on the findings from data analysis, the hypothesis test has a calculated f value f table, this shows the alternative hypothesis in this study was rejected. The coefficient of determination value in this study was obtained at 0.006, so it can be concluded that the influence of the parental education level variable on the student learning discipline variable was 0.6%, while the other 99.4% (100% - 0.6%) was influenced by other factors. others not examined in this study.

Abstract

The policy of reimbursement of accommodation or hygiene services in Tualang district of the Siak district in its implementation is still not running optimally. As a result of an interview with the Chief of the Environmental Services at Tualang district of Siak, he noted that the implementation of the policy is still not running optimally due to several factors, namely the lack of facilities for the handling of garbage. The purpose of this research is to determine how the implementation of PERDA No. 13 Year 2011 on Retribution of Public Service and Sanitation in Tualang district of Siak. The method used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques based on observations and interviews. According to the results of the research obtained, the Implementation of PERDA No. 13 of 2011 on Retribution of Public Service and Sanitation by the government of the district has been implemented even though it has not yet been fully implemented. In terms of delivery of services or infrastructure, governments still have to improve services and infrastructure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya suatu tradisi di Kenegerian Sentajo yaitu hari raya Ke Rumah Godang ( Rayo Rumah Godang ) yang merupakan suatu kegiatan saat dilakukan perkumpulan untuk bersilaturahmi antara ninik mamak, cucu dan kemenakan. Acara ini di lakukan pada hari raya kedua Idul Fitri. Setiap kegiatan dalam tradisi ini dapat di Aktualisasikan dalam Nilai-nilai Pancasila, sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “ Studi tentang Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegerian sentajo”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegeriaan Sentajo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegerian Sentajo yaitu: 1) Nilai Ketuhanan, Aktualisasi dapat dilihat pada saat Perkumpulan suku, rapat adat, serta makan dan berdoa bersama. Persiapan yang dilakukan dalam Rumah Godang setelah acara selesai, dimulai dengan berdoa bersama hal ini menekankan pentingnya rasa syukur, dan Pengabdian kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. 2) Nilai Kemanusiaan, Aktualisasi Nilai kemanusiaan menekankan pentingnya saling membantu dan peduli terhadap sesama anggota suku, hal ini sebagai wujud dari Nilai kemanusiaan. 3) Nilai Persatuan, Saat perkumpulan suku, rapat adat, serta makan dan berdoa bersama hal itu merupakan bentuk dari kebersamaan persatuan masyarakat Kenegerian Sentajo. 4) Nilai kerakyataan, Aktualisasi Nilai kerakyatan pada saat berkumpul, rapat adat di mana keputusan diambil melalui proses musyawarah yang melibatkan tokoh-tokoh adat serta pemangku adat Kenegerian Sentajo. 5) Nilai Keadilan Sosial, ketika hari raya bersama di Rumah Godang seluruh ninik mamak dan cucu kemenakan mendapatakan penghormatan dan perlakuan yang sama dari segi apapun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan ditemukannya permasalahan yang terdapat di SMPN 6 Tanjungpinang berupa dampak yang dialami peserta didik dengan situasi status perceraian orang tuanya yang berdampak pada pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar di sekolah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah luaran dari fenomena perceraian orang tua terhadap kelangsungan motivasi belajar siswa di SMPN 6 Tanjungpinang. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengkaji studi tentang status perceraian orang tua dan motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui pengamatan dan wawancara kepada guru Wali kelas dan Bimbingan Konseling serta siswa Kelas VIII.5 SMPN 6 Tanjungpinang. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan di SMPN 6 Tanjungpinang menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang orang tuanya berpisah cenderung terdampak secara tidak langsung terhadap motivasi dan pretasi belajar mereka yang menurun. Menurunnya motivasi belajar siswa ditandai dengan anak yang tidak belajar dengan tekun, kurangnya minat serta ketajaman perhatian dan fokus untuk belajar, prestasi dalam belajar menurun, dan anak tidak mampu belajar dengan mandiri. Dari permasalahan dan hasil penelitian yang ditemukan, menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan adanya kerjasama dari berbagai pihak seperti, guru, teman, dan orang tua itu sendiri untuk lebih inisiatif dan peduli agar permasalahan tersebut tidak berdampak negatif secara struktural.

Abstract

Pancasila village is a means of application and internalization of Pancasila values that are currently starting to fade in people's lives. This article aims to formulate strategies and materials to optimize Pancasila villages as a means of ideological resilience. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, which was conducted in 2 Pancasila villages in Pekanbaru City and Dumai City, Riau Province. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data collection, data verification and reduction, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing used data source triangulation techniques. The results of the study found that (1) Pancasila villages have not been running optimally because activities are more directed at infrastructure management but are still not massive in terms of socialization activities of Pancasila values to the community, both formally and informally; (2) the absence of standard materials or curriculum structures for the socialization of Pancasila values carried out by Babinsa so that there are no guidelines for conducting social communication (komsos); (3) Optimizing the role of Pancasila villages can be done through the use of collaboration and digitalization strategies, while in terms of material structure, a comprehensive and codified material structure is required. Pancasila villages as a stronghold of ideological defense have not been running effectively, so a number of future improvement efforts are needed in terms of strategy and material.

Abstract

Earthquake disasters can significantly impact the psychological well-being of victims across all age groups, particularly children. As a vulnerable group, children face unique challenges in coping with disaster situations due to their limited abilities, resources, and immature psychological adaptations. Various interventions have been explored to address disaster-related trauma in children. In Indonesia, Randai, a traditional cultural performance, is believed to help reduce psychological trauma in children. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Randai therapy in alleviating psychological trauma among children affected by earthquakes. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental study design with pretest-posttest assessments. The sample size is 202 respondents, consisting of 101 for the Randai intervention group and 101 for the control group. The results of this study showed a pretest score for trauma level of 25.61 before Randai therapy and a posttest score of 20.96 after Randai therapy. There is a significant difference between the psychological trauma of respondents before and after being given Randai therapy, with an average value of 25.61 with a standard deviation of 7.800 and an average value of 20.96 with a standard deviation of 7.511 respectively. It was found that Randai therapy had positively reduced psychological trauma among children after the earthquake (p-value < 0.05). Randai therapy is significant in reducing psychological trauma in children after the earthquake in Kajai West Pasaman, West Sumatra. This study contributes by revealing the effectiveness of traditional Randai therapy as a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce post-disaster children's psychological trauma. In addition, it enriches the culture-based approach to safe, affordable, and sustainable psychological recovery.

Abstract

The importance of understanding Pancasila education and legal awareness in shaping the character of students in Indonesia. Pancasila education not only aims to teach the country's basic values, but also plays a role in building strong legal awareness among the younger generation. Through an ethnopedagogical approach, this article describes how integrating local culture in the learning process can increase the relevance of teaching materials and facilitate a deeper understanding of the rights and obligations as citizens. This research shows that by linking the principles of Pancasila and law to the local cultural context, students become better able to apply these values ​​in everyday life. In conclusion, the implementation of ethnopedagogy in Pancasila education and legal awareness is very important to create a young generation who not only understands, but also applies these values ​​in practice, thereby contributing positively to society and the nation.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the many ethnicities, religions and cultures that exist in Jayapura village, Bungaraya sub-district, Siak district. The formulation of the problem in the research is how to implement the value of tolerance in realizing unity and integrity in Jayapura Village, Siak Regency, what are the forms of obstacles and efforts to implement the value of tolerance in social life in Jayapura Village. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the value of tolerance and obstacles and efforts in social life in Jayapura Village. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. There were 6 informants in this research, including the village head, youth leader, religious leader/community figure, teacher and local community. The data analysis technique in this research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of the research show that there is quite strong tolerance in respecting other people whose conditions are different, respecting other people, accepting differences, and not forcing others to be the same as themselves. Supporting factors for implementing the value of tolerance are the togetherness factor, an attitude of mutual help and support, community activities, and the heart factor. Then too, there are still inhibiting factors in the form of time and awareness from the community in Jayapura Village, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency.
